ASDA Cafe in Tendring

Self service was brilliant shame about the staff behind the counter 15:45 no longer serving hot food cos we are shutting at 16:00 only wanted a scone and tea was given some jam out of a jar off jam and tea in paper cup as didn’t what to have to clean them up

The place to go for a no frills canteen style breakfast at an affordable price. I’ve never waited more than a couple of minutes for someone to take my order & the food comes out in less than ten mins. Significantly better than Tescos who are charging boujis coffee shop prices for half as much food of the same, if not lover quality.

The food was good will definitely order again we usually come to the cafe and eat when we do our shopping

£12-04 missing item bread n butter not worth the money for a 6 item breakfast ☹️

Food cold driver got lost had to go find him not so good doesn’t understand English 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 can’t do the job very poor 😞

2 small pieces of beef with peas and carrots enough for 3 fork loads the dumpling was good but overall waste of money was left feeling hungry TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY

WHY OH WHY DO YOU EMPLOY PEOPLE WHO CANNOT READ OR UNDERSTAND ENGLISH. I ALWAYS PUT THE SAME DELIVERY INSTRUCTIONS ON MY ORDERS. BUT THIS DRIVER CLEARLY COULDNT OR DIDNT BOTHER TO READ THEM. HE EVEN RANG MY TWICE. I HAVE CCTV ON MY DOOR SO COULD SEE HIS APPROACH. HE CAME COMPLETELY FROM THE WRONG DIRECTION. HENCE WHEN I EVENTUALLY GOT MY FOOD THE CHIPS WERE STONE COLD SOGGY AND LIMP AND THE BACON WAS HARD AND COLD. NOT A GOOD EXPERIENCE AT ALL.

BACON ROLLS DELICIOUS, CREAM TEA DELICIOUS. FRENCH FRIES OKAY BUT NOT AS GOOD AS THE LAST TIME, OTHERWISE YOU WOULD HAVE GOT 5* FOR FOOD QUALITY.

Waited 45 min for breakfast and eventually had to get a refund because it was nearly dinner time !! Excuses after excuse as to why it was taking so long. No cutlery available, no sauces, rude staff that are dismissive and unhelpful. I do not recommend bothering with this dump of a cafe.
