The restaurant was empty, nobody at the counter for service. Waited for staff to arrive. Ordered two big breakfasts. The breakfasts were cold, sausages kept warmish, over cooked, hash browns dried out, black pudding dried out, tiny tomato or half of one, beans Luke warm, bacon tasty but looked raw, eggs the only thing fresh. Plus 2 mugs of tea. £18 for appaling food, they won't get our service again, awful. Asda should be ashamed serving it, never mind charging for it as well

after the new food hub refit this store has gone down the toilet. It took nearly an hour to get two uncooked pizzas with a 20 min gap between them (they were ordered at the same time), most of the items on the meal deal with it were out of stock, we found the order to be incorrect when we arrived home and the woman at the counter literally dropped it on the floor !!! When customer service were told of this they did precisely nothing. This store is an absolute shambles and a health hazard !

The cafe overall wasn’t clean, there was food splats all over the walls and the tables were grubby. The tray for the food was awful, it was extremely old and warped, it was also full of stains. We ordered two breakfasts, the order took 35 minutes to come out to the table, the food was warm and it looked like it had been sat for some time as the baked beans had a skin on them. The bacon and sausage was of a very poor quality and they were extremely tasteless. The cups of tea were served out of paper cups which you had to fill yourself. I was fine with this although a proper cup would have been nice! The cutlery was absolutely filthy, I rinsed it under the hot water which was meant for the tea. All of the cutlery had old food on. There was also milk on the side in a jug. The whole area was filthy and not maintained! The staff member who brought out the food seemed friendly although no apologies for the fact that the food took so long! Overall the cafe could do with a makeover.

Poor service, Dirty surrounding, rude staff, and COLD food, Thought we would give Asda another chance, but wished we hadn't. We ordered one Meal Deal Breakfast and one Full English breakfast and a coffee, after paying for the meal we sat back in a very quiet cafe , only 4 other tables occupied. When our food was served it was luke warm, the tomato wasn't even grilled it was raw, eating warm over cooked bacon, warm sausage, barely warm baked beans and warm gridled eggs was not my idea of enjoyment. I took my full english back to the counter and asked if it could be microwaved to an exceptable temperature. The young lad was most put out that I should complain and took it from me and told me that he would bring it over to me. Instead of microwaving they decided to dish up another breakfast that although was a faction hotter it was still not hot. Its a no wonder that the place was nearly empty. ASDA sort it out before you loose more customers

Stopped by as we were passing through and thought we’d try the £1 kids meals. Kids meals were fine, but no vegan options for adults. Vegan burrito was on the menu but none were left. No dairy-free milk available for coffee despite it clearly being on menu. Ended up spending £2 there for the kids when we were willing to spend much more if they actually had the items available. Signs everywhere saying to ask about allergens, but don’t bother, they won’t have anything that you want.

I and my partner had a cheese and ham panini and a toasted teacake. The Teacake was undercooked and never came with Jam which it was advertised. The panini was wet (probably very greasy) with lots of black burnt bits on the bottom which seemed to have been picked up from the grill. Finally, we saw them put food in the grill using their hands, this is not sanitary.

Had to return a item. Bought a few weeks ago. I've been back to Customer service. 1st time no one there, but 2 staff in self service and just 1 customer there, they looked at me and carried on chatting, I stood there waiting for over 5 mins. 2nd time still no one there. 3rd time today. Great 2 staff there, was told the customer services don't open until 8am. Up until today there was no sign to say opening times. Today there was 2 signs saying opening and closing times. Opens at 6am If you only open parts of your store at different times, it would be a good idea to put a sign up and would have saved me 3 6 miles round trip.

Yet again I think it a good idea to get a pizza from asda. Yet again there's a queue and why is there a queue..... Because the staff are too busy chatting with each other to take much notice of what customers are asking for and that there are indeed customers requiring serving. Twice I was asked if I wanted items on my pizza that I didn't want, twice I said no. This is now a regular occurance. I will try one more time to get served by someone who values my custom over chatting to her mate and I will hope that when I get asked what toppings I would like that the staff listen and don't have to ask twice...... Otherwise Sainsburys here I come. They have a better self scanning service too. Much friendlier staff all round there....

I had not shopped in Asda previously because of Wallmart's shocking treatment of its US employees. However, I felt the time was right to visit after Wallmart recently sold Asda to a British consortium. The two girls in the cafe were helpful and friendly and my order came quickly. I was intrigued and then suprised, my meal was fine! I ordered steak pie, chips and peas. The steak pie was seriously tender and tasty, the peas were fine and the chips divine! Thanks Asda, I'll be back!

Visited Longwell green Asda last week with my my grandparents and received the most awful customer service. Not to mention my 90 year old grandfather having a panic attack in the middle of the shop for staff members to completely ignore and walk past. When I asked for help, I was also ignored. The cafe upstairs had no food except for one cold ham and cheese sandwich and when asked why this was I was told “because of coronavirus”. Very rude and helpful staff in both the main shop and in the cafe. Very unpleasant environment and experience and the toilets were also filthy. I have been coming to Asda Longwell green for many years but after this experience I will not be going back and I am just disgusted by their behaviour.Avoid at all costs!!

I wish i had read the reviews before eating here. Not a good start when going to the counter, no sandwiches, rolls or cake on display. Behind the counter looked extremely chaotic. Orders being written on a a4 pad, payment being taken on a card machine that does not take contactless(its 2020). Should have walked away the minute we arrived, dirty tables, staff not wearing hair nets. i ordered fish and chips which took 20minutes to arrive, really greasy fish and dry baked beans, my friend had the breakfast. Cheap nasty sausages . Did not complain about the food because i had read the reviews by then and clearly Asda does not care about customer service, they have not replyed to any reviews. Shocking that Asda is still unable to provide basic food to the general public in a clean and hospitable environment. Also why was there no cake sarnies or rolls? it was 1.30 on a Wednesday.

Very good value for money. Had a breakfast there for brunch and for £3.95 had two slices of toast, topped with avocado and two well-cooked poached eggs. No probs there at all. But the wait!!! On and on and one. One assistant was handling the orders, and making the drinks. She was a tiny Asian lady who needs to be complimented as she worked like a trojan and was very jolly and helpful. But of course the queue built up. We did our shop in Asda (good value as always) and returned when the queue had disappeared. Then we had to wait for our food to come. We were lucky. We spoke to a lady who was looking annoyed, and she reported back that her food took 30 mins to arrive. Ours was just 10 minutes. We asked why, when it came, and found out only one chef cooking as the other had phoned in sick. Asda need to address their staff problems urgently. It is obvious throughout the store, and especially at checkout.

The whole situation was so embarrassing I would have never thought a store would treat disabled customers in such a degrading manner. A complaint was raised and the management failed to reply or Male any contact even after being instructed to do so by the Executive Main Office. Their service is clearly some of the worst ever experienced.

Asda cafes really do need updating they look very old and out dated, plus staff could do with being trained in customer service not good at all, then to top it all off when we were sat eating the cleaner was going round brushing the floor and decided he needed to clean under our table and ask us to move our belongings so he could clean under it with us sat there, I said no as we were eating and he should not ask customers Intill they have finished or left the table he then went on to say that he has to do it or he will get told off, I said no we are eat you should wait Intill we have left, he still went on to disagree with me in the end I had to tell him to go away. The 2nd time eating here - the last time was a couple of years ago when we went in for lunch, which was pretty awful, the only jacket potato I have ever had which was inedible. However, against my better judgment, we decided to give it a 2nd chance when we fancied a post-Christmas shop breakfast. I had the small breakfast at £2.95 and my husband had the regular at £4.95. Small consisted of 1 sausage, 1 bacon, 1 egg, beans and half a tomato. None of it was particularly hot, but the tomato was raw and cold! The tables were dirty and the nearby instore toilets were absolutely disgusting. Years ago the Asda café was good value and freshly cooked hot food, but no more. You'll get a much better value and nice breakfast at a Harvester or Wetherspoons. Oh, and this café is in Longwell Green, not Patchway as the TA details say.

It's normally "Cheap and cheerful" but yesterday it was less of the cheerful. The staff and food are both ok, but the cleanliness left a lot to be desired. The floor was covered in bits of food and there was actually a large ant of some kind crawling under our table. There were quite a few tables which hadn't been cleared, and the food serving counter around the hotplates was covered in spills of food which had dried. There were also a grubby, food stained oven gloves lying around on the counter which looked filthy and hadn't seen a washing machine in quite some time. Overall it was pretty grim!
