Asda in Knowsley

Been doing our weekly shop at Asda Huyton for a good number of years now but we are getting rather disappointed with this store of late. We have noticed a decline in the amount of stock on shelves (empty spaces), quite large price increases on certain items and bigger queues at the tills (lack of staff?). We use 'Scan & Go' to pay but you still have an issue with loading the Asda App whilst instore for your Rewards scheme. Yet, in the Car Park you can load it instantly. Personally think you should get your act together otherwise you may be losing a lot of customers to another nearby Supermarket!

The menu board is a work of fiction. 90% of what's on it is not available. Staff are lazy, rude and incompetent. Drinks machine dispensing water.

Women on the self checkout are disgusting, rude and nasty to any customer that dares asks them to do their job or stop them taking to one another.

This happened at express diner cafe huyton Sunday 20/10/2024 12.40ish pm. We went in Sunday for some quick lunch, me and my mum was left at the till for 10 minutes waiting to be served,there was no que , a nice young lady asked a older lady with a fringe and clamp ,in the back could she to serve us, as she was having issues with the drinks machine. The Lady in the back who had seen us waiting the whole time continued to fold bags , then she checked on chips, she did this a few times , then she went in and out of a few cupboards. We could see everything she was doing! then she walked over and said to us without a hi or smile "what do you want" I was a little shocked at this but I asked for 2 teas please and she said "no tea" and glared at me and mum. Her customer servive and attitude was awful. where was this staffs manners or apology at the wait. She could have given us alternative drinks options but she never. It was like we was a burden to her and not a paying customer. We ended leaving due to her attitude towards us. Its absolutely disgusting customer service and behaviour from the staff and asda/express diner cafe as they are allowing this...Ive reported this staff member to head office. She 100% needs urgent customer service trainings. You dont speak to anyone in this manner especially not a customer. Leaving anyone waiting that long in line is unprofessional , especially when they wasnt busy, but am heavily pregnant. This staff member lacked care and compassion and so did the express diner cafe. I'd never go here again , still to the cafes in huyton village where you get treated well. Thank you

The staff need to have a good think about how they treat customers. My grandmother is ill and has reduced mobility and your staff think it’s okay to talk down to her as she is at the scan and go checkout. Far too nosey about other shopping my Nan had with her and felt absolutely obliged to question her other bags from other stores.The woman had black hair with a ponytail and went through all of her shopping and she was absolutely derogatory. I will be taking this to head office because it is out of order. If my Nan hadn’t have had an appointment that day I would have spoken to a manager there and then but I can promise that this will be going further! Absolutely livid!!!!

Awful place. Insufficuent tills are the big problem here as well as oblivious staff and management. Empty shelves too. Aboid at all costs. 16 tills and 5 open. Disgraceful. Fire the management.

This is the worst Asda in my town and i seriously think the worst supermarket in general. The tills are kept closed intentionally for the most of the day to force people to use self checkout. You have to ask members of staff many times if they can generously open the tills and most of the time you would be ignored. And many customers don't have the courage to ask. Absolutely ridiculous and worse service ever!

Done an online shop as I have anxiety issues, did not get any refund or any refund after the items in the bags were not what I ordered I had to get someone to take the incorrect items back as they asked me to do so for a full refund, After calling Asda’s customer service they said it is under investigation. After waiting a week for the investigation to finish they sent a email saying no refund will be given. This is 1 of many incidents I have had with Asda, Do a online shop at your own peril.

Fancied a coffee after an early morning shop so went into the café within the Asda store. Five item breakfast was about £3, a bargain, so I ordered one and asked for coffee also. Sorry only juice being served, slightly disappointed but I had orange juice cartons just bought in store so had one of them. I noticed several customers with takeaway cups so somewhere near-by must sell. Disappointed staff could not point me. Worse still was the request for customers to clear their own table, fine in principle. Once tables where clear, how do staff know which tables to clean? I saw no cleaning in the 30 minutes I was there. Then on leaving I find the bin had a lift up lid, meaning many hands touching and no nearby cleaning items.
