Waited for such a long time for service we left. Table of 10 that entered the restaurant 10 minutes after us were served all their drinks before we could gain the attention of a waitress.

We went for a dinner team meeting. The food and service was wonderful. I will definately be popping back with the wife and kids.

I had the pleasure of dining at A mano and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with beautifully set tables and a cozy ambiance. The food was absolutely delicious. I can't wait to return!

A very disappointing lunch. The restaurant was very quiet , but we struggled to get service. Ordered a hamburger which seemed to be reheated meat rather than freshly cooked. Then asked for some mustard and was told that this would cost an extra 75 pence !!!.. Can’t recall any restaurant ever charging for condiments. No one came to ask how the food was . Suffice to say we will not be visiting again.

Under new ownership I believe. So different to how it used to be, such a shame as we were regular patrons. Not somewhere we will re visit and definitely cannot recommend. Food mediocre, as was the service.

I’m doing the one of the things I hate to do and that’s giving a bad review to a local company, however they really deserve it. We went on a group outing organised by one of the girls. She worked incredibly hard to set this all up. Everyone had to prebook their food so the restaurant had everyone’s choice. We were given a label with our choices that they transposed to a table number once we sat down. Ours couldn’t have been more simple bruschetta to start, then pizza a pasta and a salad. We arrived at 7pm and the stater didn’t come out until 8.30 then we got nothing until 9.40. The salad never arrived. We asked and were told repeatedly 10 minutes. It was insane as all these things should have been ready to go and just need cooking in ovens. It totally ruined the evening as we started getting really cross and hungry. I have a minor stomach disorder which means eating late guarantees me indigestion. We didn’t get up and dance as we were just waiting for something to eat. Very disappointing restaurant and they really let down the girl who went to so much trouble to organise.

I don’t know what happened when my friend and I visited here yesterday, the restaurant was basically empty but the service was AWFUL. We asked for water which didn’t come, olive oil which we had to remind the waitress about, wasn’t offered another drink once we’d had ours, asked for the dessert menu, it took a good half hour before our order was taken and the waitress even said to us “sorry I forgot”. I don’t know if it was the case that the emptier the restaurant they just couldn’t really be bothered, but compared with previous visits it was just awful. Wouldn’t recommend at all.

They got both of our main courses wrong (they brought out completely different dishes). We sent them back and waited quite a while. Mine then came out wrong again! It was finally correct on the third time, but by then I had waited ages, and my friend had finished, so the meal was ruined. We also had to ask 3 times and wait ages for a glass of tap water. I was genuinely surprised when the bill came that they hadn't taken anything off, neither did they offer anything extra complimentary as an apology. Will not be hurrying back.

There was a short period of time in which they changed the pizza makers (pizzaioli), but things are back to normal since they brought them back. Best pizza place in Orpington!

So we were walking looking for a nice little place to eat!! Wow this was a little gem. We found a nice little space to sit down and staff were prompt to come and take our order. Drinks were served quickly and the place had a very relaxed and chilled vibe. Food was served and wow the Pizza was Amazing!!! The burger was very nice as well as all the extras which were recommended. Service was excellent and fully deserving of the service charge. Next time I am in town I will definitely return!!!

Used to think this was one of the best places for takeaway pizza on the high street but my wife and I just ordered two pizzas, one of which was wrong, the whole order late and the pizzas arrived cold. Not tepid or lukewarm, actually cold. This was ordered at 6pm - not even the high of the dinner service. Eating in might be a different experience, but that’s the last time we get an Amano takeaway.

Another lovely experience in A Mano. This time just went for couple of expresso martinis (the best around in my opinion). Sorry, forgot to take a pic! Can also recommend the food! Always tip top, friendly service with a smile and a quick chat. Super! Thanks Team A Mano! 🤩Kxx

The restaurant allowed us to sit down and then order drinks. When they came to take our order (20:00) Sat evening they took the order and went off to the kitchen before returning 5 minutes later to inform us that there were no pizzas or garlic bread in the entire restaurant. This is an Italian restaurant and pizzas are a major part of their menu and it’s not like this was one item on the specials board. It would also have been fine if they’d advised us of this menu issue as we arrived (we’d have left and not been overly bothered) but not 20 minutes after we’d ordered some expensive drinks (for Orpington). So we paid £11 for a glass of wine and sparkling water and left. Evening spoilt. In their slight defence we weren’t charged for one £7 beer as a gesture of goodwill. We’ll not be back.

The service wonderful both ladies friendly and efficient. We ordered our food and then starters arrived at table and immediately the main course came at same time felt a little like we were being rushed. I have to say the food was pretty average, the pasta was quite dry and flavours were OK. To be honest when you pay these prices you should expect better. I don't think I will returns this was a treat but felt disipointing. 🙃

A-Mano is my go to for the best artisanal pizzas in Orpington. Great atmosphere and service. And as a bonus they source local.

We just discovered A Mano express lunch with my friend last week. There were so many nice options to choose from the lunch menu for a bargain price of less than 10£ including a drink. Another family birthday and about time we wandered back down the High Street to A Mano. We have been going here since the place opened as the food does not disappoint. Pizza and pasta all made of high quality ingredients and served impeccably and with a smile. Was a shame there is no longer a specials board but we had a lovely evening. Thank you

Unfortunately the staff do not appear to be happy in their jobs! While the initial greeting was fine as was the first waitress that took our drink orders, after that we all noted there were no smiles from staff serving the table. The staff severely lacked customer service skills. It was a challenge to request the bill at the end of our visit, as the staff were inattentive. And when the card machine was eventually brought to our table, then the assistant was boarding on being surly! Yet, two years ago we were delighted when visiting this restaurant. We shall not be returning!

Old fashion place, that actually you can feel at home. Me and my wife sat in a very comfortable coach to enjoy our meal. The staff very friendly, and the food marvellous, I could taste the food from my Nonna (grandma)
