Artigiano in Trago Mills is certainly worth a visit. Fab food and coffee, with the best ever guys running the cafe. So pleasant, helpful and friendly. Cafe very clean, great music in the background. Cant recommend this place enough. 100% worth a visit. I go around 3 times a week. No idea why you don't advise your sister cafe.

Lovely food and great customer service from Esteban. All made it a lovely night and a great experience, would definitely go again!

Fantastic evening with my friend catching up about university times. The waiter Esteban made it for us, his hospitality and smile made us feel welcome which resulted in us buying more than one of their gorgeous cocktails! Such a lovely visit but I’m sorry if Esteban isn’t your waiter as he is the best!

2nd time in past month. 1st time, table hadn't been cleaned and capachinos were like hot milk. Today, ordered 2 capachinos and it was not as flavoursome/coffee weak, as it used to be last year. Nice atmosphere.

Used to be really good but came today - took over 15 mins for a latte and a pot of tea by which time the cakes had been eaten. Same as the next table to us so not an isolated incident. Will definitely find somewhere else next time in Exeter after years of coming here?!

Nice coffee, but the last 2 times I’ve been tables are filthy and don’t seem to be wiped. Cups and previous peoples plates are not collected unless you ask. I’ve been when they have been busy so assumed that it must be for that reason but came back on a quiet morning and still very dirty. It’s a shame because I like the vibe and the bar staff are friendly.

We come to Exeter regularly but have never been here, we were looking a nice decent sandwich and drink. The sandwiches were so nice with proper bread, and drinks were great. Will return!

Absolutely rubbish! Table service only but had to ask the staff to to serve us. Server had to be told each order twice, asked for an additional tip but included a service charge in the overpriced cost of the drinks. Poor on all counts, if I want over priced drinks I'll pick some where that doesn't pull your trousers down in future!

Food was excellent and good value! I had the full-breakfast, my partner had the banana bread, both of which were amazing quality and very filling. A new regular spot for studying or chilling with breakfast. Looking forward to trying the evening offerings too soon!

Artigiano Exeter has a very nice atmosphere thanks to Geoffrey and Gintare they made our night very welcoming and warm , thank you very much to be that friendly with us .

Made a special trip here for Sunday brunch as it looked great. Found it really difficult to access the menu by scanning the QR code in the semi darkness and then were told they were not serving brunch, we could only have coffee or pastries....

No. Thank goodness for the Phoenix Cafe Bar which is a short walk away, and where the coffee machine was more than an oversized paperweight at the ungodly hour of 7pm.

Me and my partner went into Artigiano. Not quite sure if we where ment to just pick a table or be seated. So we went to the bar and where greeted by an extremely rude young woman with reddish hair. She didn't smile once and...

Ordered a breakfast special and a latte, the latte was fine but waited 30 minutes gor breakfsst agter being told it was on its way. It never arrived. Was given a refund for the breakfast after having to convince the staff that i'd actually paid for it. They were very rude and not helpful at all. Not going back again

Tad disappointed in the quality of service. Had booked a table but seems was just a free for all and booking not needed. Nice place and good atmosphere just let down by attitude of staff.

Visited for wine and snacks of a lunchtime. It was clearly very busy and staff seemed rushed off their feet. Unfortunately the few tables that were left were all dirty, so we ended up sitting at a sticky surface because all staff seemed super busy. I ordered some crisps on the app but they were out of stock, so I was told to choose a different flavour. Due to my dietary requirements, I asked to check the ingredients before I chose my replacement. The waitress just handed me four different packets of crisps and said she would leave me to choose because she was busy (!) I then had to go and find her again to say that none were suitable and therefore needed a refund. Whilst I was checking this, An elderly woman asked me where to order, I didn’t actually know having done it via mobile order at table. The 3 staff members were right next to me, could clearly hear her asking but didn’t offer her any help sadly. It is such a shame because the ambience is wonderful but as it’s not cheap, one would expect better service really.

..... Came to do Christmas shopping in Exeter today with my children. The woman who served me was amazing she made a fuss of my girls and one of them did not want to stop holding her hand! My children left happy and I was left happy! All to often I feel like a hindrance in cafés but not here!.... Reading other reviews I can't actually believe someone has blamed the staff for changes since covid????? Bizarre that someone would say something like that and then the review would still be on here? Great staff in my opinion xx

My first experience of Artigiano was for a coffee with a friend, but I have since come back regularly every week for the Tuesday night pub quiz hosted by Adam in the Hat. The staff are always very friendly and accommodating and I always look forward to my evenings out here! Definitely recommend booking if you're planning to attend the quiz though, as it always fills up!The pizza is also absolutely incredible, and when it's 2-for-1 before the quiz, you really can't go wrong!

I used to be in here regularly (2-3 times a month) and the food and drinks were always spot on. Since covid though, it seems that corners have tried to be cut and the quality is not what it was. Food for brunch was disappointing, coffee is average, and cocktails are consistently unbalanced and stingy. On this occasion to write this review, we had an espresso martini which was bitter and undrinkable. Please return to how you were pre-pandemic, where quality was prioritised. Unfortunately won’t be returning any time soon.

My friends and I came here for my birthday l and we had an amazing time, the atmosphere on jazz night was amazing. The staff were told of the occasion and the band sang me happy birthday it was a fantastic experience. The drinks and service were some of the best I've received anywhere in Exeter. A series of disappointments ….I would like to start this review by voicing how deeply disappointed I am by the quality (or lack thereof) of the service at this restaurant. Having pre booked two tables of 6 as well as preordering our meals the night before, my party of 12 pals was excited at the thought of enjoying a lovely Sunday brunch. However, even upon arrival we were forced to wait and seat ourselves before finally being noticed by your staff. After being asked to order through the app, we spent the next 15 minutes attempting to order but with no success. We were then obliged to order at the bar, despite having pre ordered the day before. Not only we were rudely greeted by your staff, but we also found ourselves waiting over half an hour for our PREORDERED meals. Two members of our group were still not served after 55 minutes of waiting while they sat watching us eat our own. They were subsequently forced to demand a refund which has completely ruined the entirety of our day. We will not be returning at any point as this was an entirely disappointing experience.However, I cannot fault the kindness of the culinary staff who were extremely understanding with our issues and offered to re make our friends meals. + great tunes

Come out for work drinks after a dismal trip to a close by bar which shall remand unnamed. Fair to say the lively staff and the smashing playlist livened up the evening to what is and will be an incredible evening.

A really fun and relaxed place to have a few beers or cocktails, friendly atmosphere and you get the feeling you're living your best life. Life changing. Can't imagine drinking anywhere else.

Love the ambience, the cocktails and the eclectic clientele. The margaritas are especially good. You can come for coffee and pastries in the morning, wine at lunch and cocktails in the evening. What more could you want?

Came here with some friends for a leaving do and was soooo in love with the atmosphere here! We had had abysmal service at another place and needed good vibes, so wondered in to find this place so spacious and such a buzzing atmosphere. Recommend to anyone who wants to have a relaxed, fun evening.

My friend and I were waiting in the queue to order breakfast at 11:15 and got to the front, got told to go and order using the QR code as their front tills were busy so we were doing them a favour by making it less stressful for them. We then sit down and order drinks from the QR code and found you can’t even order food and drinks together on the same order so you have to pay double the service charge and double VAT on your items. Then we start to order food and find that as it had just turned 11:30 they were not taking brunch orders. So we go up to the till again and they still turn us away saying they aren’t taking any more food orders even though we explained our situation. On top of that drinks took at least 15 minutes to be delivered. I’m really not impressed with this service and would definitely not recommend coming here. Definitely overrated and way overpriced.

Always a delight to visit this Espresso & Wine Bar in Exeter. Excellent coffee served in a warm & friendly atmosphere. All staff are attentive & treat you as a person rather than just a number. The morning Team today of Alex, Aneta , Chef Calum, Sasha & Nicole were all first rate. Alex in particular displayed efficient work-flow management skills & is always willing to go the extra mile for customers. Recommended 100%
