Great food ,very tasty and friendly service

We visited tonight and had a great experience! Aroma has lovely decor and attentive friendly staff. We shared a starter and three mains, all of which tasted great with good quality ingredients! Highly recommend a visit if you're local!

just been tonight, what a lovely evening. from the moment we walked in, the staff were so attentive. i had calamari for starters my wife had mussels, both well cooked, and plentiful. surf an turf next and chicken for wife, both lovely, didnt have pud to stuffed, all in all a lovely meal.

Very friendly and amazing food, the staff are so friendly and the fact of is so good. This is definitely what Ryton needs and the special menu is lovely l.

First visit back to this lovely local restaurant since it was beautifully re furnished. Great food, excellent friendly service from all and unbelievable great value if you dine during special £20 for 3 courses times . Will definitely return and highly recommend if you are looking for a great friendly Italian with beautiful decor. 😍

Had a family of eight there and was very pleased with the place food service and style. The waitress there looked after us royally and there were several nice touches you don’t see elsewhere. The staff there gave you a great welcome and an even greater farewell and valuing your custom. The price was very reasonable and the quality of the food given was nigh on superb. A go back situation.

Our favourite restaurant and is always our first choice. Many family occasions celebrated here. Great atmosphere, wonderful food and always Paulo and staff provide great service with a sense of humour which makes this restaurant the place to be.

We visited just before closing on a Sunday. The restaurant stayed open even though we were the only table booked. The food was really nice, we couldn't fault any of it. Our waitress Faith was great, very friendly and made us feel very welcome. She even brought over an ice cream with birthday candle at the end for my birthday which was a lovely touch. Glad this is our new local Italian restaurant. Would definitely recommend.

We have been here several times and always had a good meal, but decided to try something different than our usual. Both our meals were fantastic, so tasty and fresh. The service was as excellent as always. Highly recommended

Experience for below average food. Nearly £9 for a glass of wine! Spot the cheese on the garlic bread, under cooked pasta and mushrooms tasted tinned. Will not be visiting again.

Our first time here and I can not fault the place. Staff were amazing and very accommodating, kindly keeping the kitchen open as we booked very last min. We were well looked after and the food was amazing! Will definitely be coming back. The steak was cooked perfectly.

Great evening at Aroma, delicious authentic food and fantastic service from Faith and colleagues. We were delighted and grateful that our Guide Dog in Training was warmly welcomed - without this support from forward thinking businesses many blind people would wait longer before receiving a fully trained Guide Dog to open up their lives. Well done to Aroma on this occasion , and to Guide Dog in Training Rita for her exemplary behaviour in the restaurant. We hope we can join you again soon.

There was a group of 20 for our Christmas lunch . What Christmas party has no crackers !! . The turkey lunch was disappointing. 1 slice of turkey accompanied the veg ,the meal was not that hot and no cranberry was offered. Christmas pud was not very hot and neither was the sauce. We did mention the pudding was cold but nothing was done also mentioned no crackers which we had been assured there would be but again no joy. Won't be back in a hurry

We are so lucky to have such a great restaurant in Ryton. The old Barclays Bank building has been transformed into a warm, hospitable place to have lunch or dinner. We visit often, for many reasons : Paulo as front-of-house is an excellent host, welcoming and efficient , the chefs in the open kitchen produce reliably great food ( special mention to the Pollo al Pepe and the Caesar salad, best I’ve ever had!) , and good value for money. The special Christmas Day menu looks mouth-watering and well worth considering if you want to be spoiled rather than toiling in your own kitchen! Highly recommend a visit.

Visited on a Saturday evening as group of 7 everything was perfect. Our 2 year old was very hungry and tired, they were able to get him a big bowl of pasta quickly which saved us from trying to distract a hungry toddler whilst we ordered. We all had starters and main courses and everything was amazing. The wine was also great. We will definitely be back.

Was not impressed portions very small I had lasagna and there was very little meat just sauce and pasta no salad and for £10 not a good value for money my husband had steak it was £23 that came on a plate and it was just the steak and a tomato half on the plate and a bowl of chips no presentation at all but on a plus said staff really nice

Wow! We've eaten in Italy and this place was so authentic. Aranchini, amazing meatballs and a twist with harissa chicken spaghetti. But what makes this place is the welcome, the attention to detail and the lovely staff. We'll definitely be back. Our son lives in Newcastle and we'll bring them here too. really really good, i recommend the romana pasta and apple crumble. Only problem was the portion size, wasn’t full after and i don’t usually eat lots but the portion size was like the amount you would get on a kids menu.

Happened upon the restaurant by chance and it was excellent. Friendly and well trained staff. Quality of service and food well above average. Probably the best experience and value for money in a restaurant during our four weeks in the UK. Suggest you think about reserving a table. Most customers seemed to do that.
