Booked in for Sunday lunch for 10 people.Food was lovely as usual.A couple of service mistakes which were immediately corrected so good day was had by all.

food was beautiful with lots of it too, staff were friendly and welcoming, the wine served in a nice heavy glass was very nice, good atmosphere and price was very good, A+ we will definitely be returning well worth it

We had the lunch special two course £9.95 each which was lovely potato skins for starters then pizza and pasta share ,extremely good value with excellent service.

Took family for birthday meal Sunday have to say food was fantastic couldn't fault it lovely clean place staff always there to help didn't have to wait long prices are very good my kids loved it granny did to as she doesn't eat much and got kids Sunday lunch which she loved and kids took rest of there pizzas and potato skins with sauce home which was all boxed up by staff to take home and they were very nice cut me a big slice of cake put a cake in rang the bell sang happy birthday to me which was really thoughtful of the staff and boxed my cake up for me to take home no extra cost thank you all for amazing day 😍😍 will be visiting again xxxx 10/10 from me and my family 😀

Called in for our tea because it was our daughters birthday it's was lovely! Even our son who is autistic actually sat and ate without a fuss so was a massive success for us all!!

Excellent food and quick service

2 of my friends and I went for our annual Xmas food night out and decided to go here as we have all been before with our partners but never together. We had a table booked for 7pm and we were the last ones in at 10pm, I think we were holding them back from closing but we weren't made to feel like that 😊. The staff are lovely and friendly and the food came out quickly and was delicious, We would highly recommend 1771 to anyone and we'll definitely be going back.

Awesome place best Italian food ever!

Went to 1771 today for Sunday lunch. Ordered the beef, came with seasonal veg, mash, roasters, stuffing and a humongous Yorkshire, swimming in gorgeous gravy. My partner had the chicken Kiev which was amazing, a huge piece of chicken which just melted in the mouth. Homemade chips came with it which were crispy and tasty. Definitely recommend 1771, the staff are so attentive and friendly and the atmosphere is lovely. 10/10

Food and service was great. 4 of us for my daughter 17th birthday. I pre-booked. Only downside was we where downstairs with a very small table in corner. But we coped. Would recommend.

Favourite Italians anywhere never disappointed

I came for Sunday lunch with my grandmother and Auntie, am a regular customer that comes every Sunday for lunch but on this occasion we were served our drinks as this was happening the server dropped a drink all over my back he did apologise and the spillage was cleaned up but we weren't asked if we were ok or anything I just think the way it was handled could have been alot better

We had a very nice meal at lunchtime. The staff were very helpful, friendly and competent. We'd definitely come back.

6 of us had food here, all 6 were really nice. We sat on the terrace which was really nice too and to top it off the staff were really friendly. This was the first time we have been here and we will definitely be returning 👌

Had a meal there to celebrate my mother's 72nd birthday. There was 15 of us and the staff did really well with our orders and there were only a couple of theathing trouble which the restaurant sorted out without any issue. We will definitely be returning

Came here after food for my partner's birthday, it's like a tradition now. We had a couple of cocktails and a bottle of wine. The cocktails are so delicious! My favourites are the White Russian and the Piña Colada, creamy and sweet. The staff are friendly and the mixologist is a wizard! Will definitely be returning for cocktails sooner rather than later, maybe even some food next time.

Paid our first visit today and I must say that the food we were presented with was stunning! Nicely presented and very tasty and the staff were very helpful. Shall certainly be recommending the restaurant to all our friends and a return visit will be imminent. Well done all round quality.

Great place love the atmosphere it's so friendly, hamez behind the bar is always a delight to talk to, the food is actually nice and reasonably priced, hard to find a place like this these days.

Quick lunch today with the family, post Panto. Service was excellent and the food in this little gem of a place just gets better every time we visit. So reasonably priced too. Our little ones left with some complimementary reindeer dust to feed Santa's reindeers tonight. Lovely touch 1771. Thankyou ❤

Great food,reasonably priced, great service

Food was delicious however, the service wasn't so good. We waited ages for our starters as it looked like they were also doing a lot of takeaways & when our starters did finally arrive, they forgot one! The table next to us ordered at the same time but they didn't seem to wait as long as us! Wouldn't return in a hurry I'm afraid.

Been hear today for food im sure when your serving food you should have your hair tied up or back out of the way of people's food the manager was playing with her hair then serving food to people im sure this is a hygiene issue to be playing with your hair and not washing your hands to them serving the food. NO surprise there's a hair in the food. I won't return I a hurry

My husband and I were really looking forward to a lovely meal bottle of wine as have had a horrendous few months so having been before decided to go again not realising until last minute it had changed hands, firstly the wine was ok and the gamberoni starter was lovely although could have been served with a rice or crusty bread if we'd known would have ordered some garlic bread. Then came the main absolutely horrible my husband returned his steak which he thought was the restaurant's signature as it was 1771 with pepper and drambuie, it was dry and unedible.i ordered steak rossini which was no better but didn't want to fuss it was tasteless and we both ordered chips and they were also horrid the food tasted like it had stood all day waiting to be reheated and at top prices you expect a nice meal at the end we asked for the bill and I mentioned there was definitely no drambui in the sauce I've cooked with it myself and its a very strong liquor so we had an hour out starting at 7pm back by 8pm. Sorry but won't be going back. I must say the staff were lovely but obviously there hands are tied.

Went today for lunch and I had a fantastic meal and service Matthew recomend one of his creation cocktail called Tennessee (Jack Daniel honey) it was a fresh and delightful choice.

Fantastic food and staff and great prices

Just been to 1771 with the family, as always the meals are delicious and the offers are outstanding for a good deal. Me and my son had a few cocktails, they are delicious and get you drunk. Always come here for birthdays and any other family get togethers, as we know we won’t be disappointed, Ty.

Absolutely love this 😀 food is amazing and the waiter in the twice we've been here is absolutely spot on hemez if I've spelt it correctly he is a star honestly 😀 so smiley so welcoming he is amazing i would.just go back for his service to be fair. Only been here twice like I say and twice we've had him you csn see some of them getting rushed etc bur he doesn't and even I'd he was he certainly doesn't make you feel that way! I couldn't leave a review on Facebookao doing here well done hemez!! Xx
