My lovely partner and I have been regular visitors to Harborne, Birmingham over the past 18 months. Sian has been undergoing invasive treatments for two cancers, one of which is extremely rare. Not withstanding the lovely Birmingham QE Staff, we have found much solace and calm at the Arco lounge. An extensive tasty menu, good choice of drinks, but most of all the staff and surroundings allow you to relax and forget ones woes. Laid back would be doing them a disservice, as they are attentive and helpful. Always a warm welcome, they have made our visits so much more than about medical treatment. Harborne has become a place we can never forget. Thank you. Norman and Sian

We had to travel a good distance to get here as we were looking for a place to enjoy coffee and good conversation. Difficult on a Sunday night in Birmingham. We were not disappointed as the coffee was great and the atmosphere welcoming, if I lived in this area then it would be my go to place. Next time I’ll try the food menu.

Thoroughly enjoyed a recent visit. Very busy but can book a table later in the afternoon. Good choice of food and drinks. It has an interesting vibe with lovely decor and an eclectic mix of customers. Will visit again

Went for lunch with my friend and chose the fish finger sandwich, which was faultless! I ordered garlic and parmesan fries on the side, which were so moreish. Service was brilliant despite being busy during lunchtime rush. We then had dessert. I ordered the banoffee cheesecake and a latte. Both delicious!! Atmosphere was great. Parking available across the road. Will definitely be going again.

If a perfect cozy place for dinner exists ! Your search is over. This is your one spot place for yummy Multi cuisine food. Loved the staff interactions specially the head cheff and assistant manager who were way down to earth and very friendly. I would must recommend this restaurant if you really want to get your tummies filled ❤️

Came here Monday with a friend. My first visit. Very cosy atmosphere and restaurant is laid out well. I like how you can pick your own table too! Great deal on a Monday where you get a free glass of wine or a dessert with any main meal. We ordered everything through the app using the QR code on the table. Drinks were bought over quickly. We ordered: Beef brisket chilli. This was amazing. The beef just melted in your mouth. Wasn't a huge fan of the rice. Found it a bit too salty. Chicken Kiev Burger. My friend really enjoyed this, although, the garlic butter did make it very messy to eat! 🤣 Side of fries Side of onion rings All food was fresh and hot. We had churros and sticky toffee pudding for dessert. Again, really good and the salted caramel sauce with the churros was delicious 😋 Great value for money. Service was excellent. Would definitely return and highly recommend.

I went to Arco lounge Harborne with my friend this afternoon. We ordered 2 mozzarella paninis. The food was cold, hardly any cheese in it and lots of ketchup. Absolutely disgusting. Total waste of money. I have been to arco lounge so many times, however, this is the first time I had such a rubbish food. Also, the young girl in the bar, served the wrong wine initially( cheaper wine) until I pointed out to her!

Visited the restaurant last week with a pre booking. It was a Saturday night, so was indeed crowded and loud. We were a group of 7 people and the dishes we ordered were very average and nothing extra ordinary like the other reviews. The milk shakes were still fine. They had board games to play with as well which was a good distraction..overall a very average experience.

Today was my first time here and i’m certain it will not be my last! The atmosphere and vibes here are amazing and the staff are so lovely it made my experience perfect. The food came out quickly despite it being quite busy at the time I was there, and it was well worth the price!

Haven’t been to any of the lounges in a while and it was so lovely to see how large the gluten free menu is now! The gluten free bread is not amazing but having sausages available is such a simple but lovely thing. The staff were great too, I’ll be back again soon

if you want breakfast, or lunch, or a coffee, then come here (I haven’t been for dinner but suspect it’s also exemplary). I usually come here for breakfast (and have been for two and a half years since I moved to Harborne). I’ve tried every place on the High Street for breakfast and this is the best by a mile. Silky coffee (or a bitter burst, if that’s your thing), lovely and warm decor, and the food (in almost every case) is cooked perfectly. Service is ALWAYS warm and friendly, cutlery is clean, fresh, cold water is available whenever you want it, and they have excellent musical taste. Only gripes: - The poached eggs need a minute longer (always a bit slimy) and possibly need to be fresher. Fried eggs are amazing though. - It’s a child friendly place, which may not suit some people as yelling toddlers can disrupt a quiet breakfast.

Good food and coffee, great setting as well.

That’s my second time here and it did not disappoint. Lovely staff and food, this place is perfect for families as well. The Blueberry Pancakes and Matcha Vanilla Latte were beautiful.

The food was good but was very slow..and service is quite poor.

Lounge eggs with smoked salmon on toast were perfectly cooked, tasted just right. Excellent hot drinks. Lovely staff, great service.

We have always loved Arco Lounge. The atmosphere is great, the team are always cheerful and helpful and the food and coffee is first class

Staff were very friendly, very homely feel. You can expect to walk into a natural setting where people feel comfortable conversing and even playing cards with a bottle of wine. Certainly what you need if you want to wind down. Been here a few times now and even got a drink on the house because the bar staff noticed my birthday badge. Little things make a place like this and would definitely come back in future as good and service and food/drink was superb.

Deceiving from the outside. Looks like it will be small but as you enter it's very room and tables are spaced out nicely. Great service from the staff here. Make you feel very welcome! Visited today with my wife and baby and enjoyed a lovely brunch.

Enjoyed a decent pint of IPA Ale in good company and in a warm cosy corner of the pub. This pub situated just of greenfield and Vivian Road is regarded the quieter part of Harborne. Looks to be under new management offering food as well. Popular with the locals especially in the summer with a pretty large beer garden. Always had a good pint and conversation in the New Inn.

Incredible experience. I had to customise my burger (picky eater) and they accommodated fine! When they brought it out initially it didn’t have bacon and cheese on (likely just an error in communication as I customised) and when I told them they immediately took it back and brought a replacement really fast. They also gave me another drink on them which was unnecessary but welcomed and appreciated. We came on the Monday so got the free dessert deal. It was clear they were a bit short staffed but the staff on shift worked incredibly hard to deliver a great service, and as our dessert was delayed a tiny bit they offered us another drink which I declined but they gave my girlfriend a water! Too kind At the end we were offered even more drinks and it’s clear this is the kind of establishment that truly cares for its customers. Special shout-out to the lady with the glasses, i didn’t get her name but she was too kind. All staff on shift today were A*

We took our very well-behaved, large 9 month old cane corso dog, and the staff could not have been more welcoming or accommodating, making sure she was given water and treats. They also made a special fuss of my mum whose 80th birthday we were celebrating. Food was fab. Service excellent. Prices really fair. We will definitely recommend and return. Thanks for such a lively time

I had the best night out with my girlfriends!! The atmosphere was perfect, the service was great and the food was delicious. We had a problem with one of our sides and they happily sorted it out. Will go again

Stunning atmosphere and food was delicious worth a bite to eat anytime of the day

I was there with my friend and we ordered truffle chicken. it had a strong smell of alcohol and since then I feel so sick after a day. the alcohol was not mentioned in the food ingredient. The price is high, compared to the food quality. a glass of orange juice is above £5! Truffle chicken was mostly potatoes and sauce and few small pieces of chicken.

Our first and last visit to Arco Lounge. Group of three friends we all ordered the same meal Buttermilk chicken with fries and slaw. Chicken was dark and over cooked. Fries were cold and hollow. Just bits. A very small portion of slaw that looked to be turning brown. No one came to our table whilst we were eating to see if we were happy. We all just picked at the Chicken and left the rest. As we were leaving a waiter came to clear our plates at which point we said we had not enjoyed our lunch. No acknowledgement just continued to clear. We were disappointed as we had been recommended to try Arco.

Atmosphere nothing special, service doesn’t exist because you order with the app, food very plain, cider tasted very old. I had the chicken salad and it was literally rocket salad out of a bag, mayo, cherry tomatoes, 30g of chicken breast and red onion with no oil or salad dressing, really nothing special and the rocket salad looked old, also they added finely grated cheese on top of the salad like of was a pasta dish. I will not come back here.

A lovely place that I thoroughly enjoy going to. Having recently learned that I was gluten intolerant I had been miserable at having my food choices severely limited, but the food they do here is so gorgeous and mixed with the cozy atmosphere it's a lovely place to visit that I usually bring friends to if we're looking for a place that fits most dietary needs or even if we just want a nice place to go. My only nitpicky qualm is that the wooden chairs can get a little uncomfortable if you stay there too long, but I'm talking over two hours and there are couch and booth options too if you can get them.

Great place to hang out. Food on this occasion wasn't great at all. Ordered flatbread with lamb shawarma and falafel with flat bread. Ate it cos was very hungry after a long days at work. But I couldn't eat the flat bread. Must say the manager was great and took the feedback positively.

The staff were friendly and welcoming. Really fast service. Nice atmosphere inside. Food can do with sone improvement as lacked flavour.

Had the halloumi burger which was absolutely lovely. Staff is always really kind and helpful. My friend has a gluten allergy and they were very accommodating. Dessert portions are a bit small but still tasty.

Good food, great customer service!

This was our first time to Arco Lounge in Birmingham. It was a great decision. Staff, atmosphere, food and drinks were lovely and good value for money. Whereas a dinner for five would have cost me over £100, the total bill, including tip, came to £86 and the food was lovely.

Went there for breakfast at 9am on a Sunday morning, as they had just opened. The staff was very warm and welcoming, they are clearly very knowledgeable about gluten free and coeliac in particular - all items are bright out with a red paper flag if there's an allergy, to alert about cross contamination. My daughter is autistic and didn't like any of the listed breakfast items, they were very accommodating and made her a bespoke plate with just the items she liked. The food was delicious, service was great and fast, and the place has a really lovely atmosphere: I would highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area, well worth a visit.

A lovely relaxed vintage place. There's pictures on the walls, that make you feel nostalgic. The food is delicious and I'm quietly getting addicted to the coconut and pineapple punch .... sweet and fruity. This occasion was an early dinner with a friend, and I don't usually order this but I couldn't resist the warm chocolate brownie... delightful 😋 The toilets are upstairs and down a long corridor, and they are clean and tidy. The staff are friendly and helpful. I would recommend this place.

Fabulous for gluten free and vegan. You get your whole special menu and lots of items are BOTH gf & vegan which sometimes I struggle to find.

Great food, I’ve been to a few restaurants in this chain and liked the consistency of the menus- I know what there is to get and it is cooked the same. Also love the unique vibe and wall paintings they have, and have always had great customer experiences. Love that you can order yourself!

It's a very nice place to go with a great atmosphere and they have nice deals for free dessert or wine after 5pm on Mondays, hehe, however the food is never hot. I like my food hot but they always leave it to cool and the food is usually warm and the wait can be annoying however it is a great enough place to be busy a lot of the times

Absolutely amazing. Went above and beyond. Called up to explain we had a wheelchair, gentleman sorted out a table with extra space. Really handled our allergies well, and everyone was really friendly. The person with the long hair (manager?) was great, a credit to the business. My sister who’s birthday it was, was in day release from Birmingham hospital and everyone really helped make her birthday as special as it could be considering she couldn’t spend it at home.

Good brunch at the weekends. Nice atmosphere.

One of my favourite easy places to go. I lovee the lounge cheese burger, the brunch menu is really good too. Wasn't too impressed by the milkshakes though just tasted like nesquick for a high price tag. Nevertheless the food is delicious,doesn't disappoint!

Nice food not much choice regards meat I settled for a mushroom curry my partner had mutton but it was tasty table next to us had a nightmare late very late food cold when it came so probably won't return.

Took my dog. Made very welcome with a bowl of water and lots of fuss.

We came last minute on a Thursday for a meal for my 30th birthday. Just expecting a casual meal but Peter made it feel very special! We have since returned and it is clear he does this for every person that comes through that door. He is a star, give this man a raise!!! Thank you so much, my nan and I will be returning regularly. ❤

Lovely food and I do like fact that the staff can wear what they want but I do think they need name badges at the very least as you don't really know who is staff and who is an actual customer.

Love it here, great vibe inside and just generally a great location. Only drinks this time, but the food has always been good and I love the sherbet lemonade

Had lunch with my daughter, though it was very busy, the service was good, staff all friendly and helpful. All of the food being served looked delicious. We chose fishfinger sandwiches and the chicken club ciabatta, rounded off with some chips. The food was freshly cooked, piping hot and was very tasty. This was our second visit here and on both occasions we were really happy with everything. The staff work incredibly hard, thank you for a tasty lunch ❤️

It’s an easy place to go & spacious for the those with a pushchair like me - food and atmosphere has always been nice and the staff are incredibly helpful. I went alone with my infant & was made to feel at ease, the facilities are nearby & are easy to access so Arco is always my ‘go to’ place when I want to go somewhere quick and easy.

Wonderful visit! Very welcoming even to our little dog. I had the whipped feta and beetroot flatbread, it was INCREDIBLE! The staff were attentive, friendly and understanding (we have two rowdy toddlers). We will definitely be returning. Thank you.

Excellent visit today with my step mom. Food lovely (had sausage and egg sandwich and sticky toffee pudding) and drinks (latte) really nice. Wasn’t mega busy at first thou did fill up by about 1pm. So why not 5*? Because a couple of very selfish ladies who allowed their three young children to scream, run round, squeal, shout, sit on the table (feet and all), climb the wall and crawl under the table the whole time, whilst they sat chatting and ignoring the children. An occasional ‘don’t scream’ was the only comment from them and the children ignored that anyway. Everyone else had to raise their voices to be heard and I felt like cheering when they finally left. I know this isn’t the Arco Lounges fault and not for staff to say anything but it did spoil our visit somewhat.

Quite a trek to the toilet, however was ok. Overall: 6/10 Cleanliness: 6/10 Soap Quality: 5/10 Toilet Roll Quality: 5/10 Dryer Quality: 5/10 Decoration: 4/10

Have visited twice. Good quality brunch and food. The Desserts look better than they taste. The food is reasonably priced. Service has always been prompt and staff are friendly. Will happily revisit :)

A little expensive perhaps but lovely runny poached eggs, bacon yum so on and so forth. A good breakfast. If I was pushed to say a negative the pot of tea was quite small for £2.50. A bit more hot water in a bigger pot would really of made this a perfect breakfast!! Also the teacup was like something from a dolls house I couldn't even get a finger in the handle :-/ it was very cute with there logo but anyone who is not very good with finger dexterity would struggle.
