Arco Lounge in Birmingham

Very nice place. Today I had the Breakfast Quesadillas and it was perfection. So fresh, tasty, well presented and great value for money. The lounge & large breakfasts need more beans though.....!

Lovely food, the Miami brunch was delicious. Busy for a weekday but we got a table no problem and service was friendly and quick. Would definitely go back.

Great service Drew was the best

Had my granddaughters birthday meal because some of the family are vegans we thought would try it . Service was great as we entered the door with cake box in hand Drew one of the servers couldn't do enough for us . Staff were friendly, helpful and very efficient especially as their was 17 of us adults and children. Would definitely recommend it very family friendly with things for the children to do. Thank you Drew and Staff for a lovely evening

Friendly restaurant/pub with good range of drinks and food

Visited Arco Lounge Harbourne this evening with our family for my daughter’s birthday! There were 9 of us, aged from 5yrs to 77yrs and we all had a wonderful time. Delicious food, great atmosphere and the customer service was fabulous!! Thank you so much for a great evening Would highly recommend Arco Lounge! Xxxx

Great gluten free menu which really suits my wife and a plethora of options not involving potato (e.g. the nasi goreng is excellent)

Drew is the best server, lovely friendly guy! as soon as we come through the door he makes us feel so welcome, nothing is too much for him. My mum and I love to visit the Arco lounge, we usually have a tasty meal and a lovely chilled glass of wine. My mum even loves to pop in on her own on the odd occasion for a pot of tea and a toasted tea cake. All the staff are friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is relaxed, the decor and lighting are lovely. The candles lit in the evening makes it feel really cosy. This is our stop always on Harborne high street after shopping for a relaxed cuppa and a catch up.

Lovely food, good music and very vigilant about allergies.

We (including the dog) had an amazing experience thanks to Drew. They had a separate menu for vegans. So much to choose from. The service was outstanding. Will certainly return.

Drew was fantastic today. We were a group of two and a baby and initially sat at a large table as the only one available on entry. Drew was friendly and welcoming and cleared the table quickly from the previous group. We ordered online and the food and drinks came quickly. As we were eating Drew came to ask if we would mind moving to a smaller table as a large group had arrived and there were no other big tables. He was really polite and apologetic about even having to ask. We didn't mind moving, he helped us and gave a free desert as a thank you. Drew really made the difference and had amazing customer service.

The decor is fascinating... The atmosphere is welcoming... Pancakes delicious... Fabulous experience.

We went to Arco as a spur of the moment decision because where we initially planned to go was closed. Arco turned out to the best decision. Not only was the service warm, friendly and happy to help and please. The food was also delicious and was not at all pricey. The wait time for the food was also remarkable shorter compared to some other places that I have been. It was an overall pleasant experience. We sat for a long time after eating, discussing and gisting and no attempts were made to rush us out of there. Definitely worth the money and we will be returning.

Have been here several times and we decided to pop in for Sunday brunch. I do like Arco Lounge, friendly staff and food came immediately good time. Food wasn’t the best though; the pancakes we had were very overcooked and dry. The bacon was ok, again a little overdone but luckily we like our bacon crispy! For a simple dish of pancakes and bacon, they should do better. Otherwise it was ok!

Fantastic food and service, lovely lunch

Very accommodating to my fussy children and good allergy management/manager very welcoming. Although not a fan of their disclaimer statement but it's not branch's fault, comes from head office, sadly way restaurants are going. "Would ask you to think carefully about the risks before you order". We did feel our daughter was safe and would recommend to allergy families and because we love the food.

Very tasty, I had a gluten free vegan burger with fries and it was incredible!!!! Staff were friendly and service was great!

Lovely atmosphere with a good range of food for most tastes including good veggie options. Online system for ordering food from the table worked well and allowed customisation of meals for the pickier members of our group

All the food is great but I feel that the free water should be at least go through a water filter no out the regular tap

Fantastic place to chill out for a coffee and cake. Went there for dessert and it was lovely. Great ambience and completely chilled out place with an amazing layout and decor. Will come back again this time for main food and sharer platter.

Great place. Why anyone would choose to go to a chain coffee shop (Costa, Starbucks...et al) when you have this absolute gem on your doorstep is beyond me. Can't wait to go back. Food was creative and very tasty.

Fantastic place to meet up with friends, with a cordial atmosphere Had a great selection of cocktails, they also had a separate matching vegan and gluten free menu with an exquisite range of deserts so that no one missied out. All of the staff were friendly and good natured. I have found another place to add to my favourite list of eating out.

This restaurant has been on the High Street in Harborne for some time. I lived in Harborne for over 40 years and have never gone inside until recently. I quickly found out that I have missed a wonderful venue. Excellent menu to cater for all tastes, covering Brunch, Sandwiches, Flatbreads, Burgers, Salads and Mains. My wife chose Lounge Eggs Smoked Salmon, from the Brunch menu and I opted for the sandwich menu, ordering a Chicken Club Ciabatta. When the meals came, they were generous portions and cooked to perfection. My Ciabatta was without doubt superb. Prices very reasonable. We will certainly be going there again. Recommended.

After walking out of TGI Fridays last night due to a poor menu and the amount of time waiting to order , my husband and i decided to drive to Harbourne and see what we could find to eat lol. We came accross Arco Lounge and thought what the hell lets give it a try and WOW this place was so easy going, we ordered the steak, onion rings, garlic ciabatta and garlic and parmesan fries and it was absolutely amazing! Garlic butter melted all over the steak was so good, we both cleaned our plates 🤣 we followed with cinnamon churros with caramel and chocolate dipping sauce and chocolate brownie , both myself and my husband are very worldly traveled and can honestly say this was up there with one of the best and excellent value for money , so safe to say we will be returning!

Popped in for drinks. Great atmosphere and staff were friendly and professional. Order at the bar system. It was busy but our hot drinks arrived quickly. We didn't have food but what was coming out of the kitchen looked good 😋

Worst lounge we have been to yet. No welcome or check in re food during meal, as per usual for lounges. Tomato had stringy centre left in both meals. Disappointed

This is not a dog friendly restaurant at all. First of all, not allow dog barking. My little dog barked once the staff was acting like they have been scared by a horror movie. To not allow a dog barking, is the same as to stop human from cough or sneeze! Secondly, not allow dog on the chair, if you can’t make it completely dog friendly why you would allow dogs in! Very stressful, don’t like the atmosphere there! would not go again!

Good food, drink and friendly people and a lively atmosphere.

The kindness and hospitality i’ve experienced at Argo Lounge is unmatched. Every time i’ve come here (which is pretty frequently) the people have been so lovely and friendly - I’ve never had a bad experience. The food is delicious, with large portions and appropriate prices. The coffee and mac and cheese is a favourite of mine. I definitely recommend coming here, a real 10/10

Been here quite a few times and it honestly never disappoints, went there today and yet again, atmosphere was great, food excellent as were the staff, however, just one complaint, ordered a side of onion rings to come with the meal and they turned up actually on my partners plate and not in a separate bowl as ordered, not a problem you say, there were 3 onion rings, yes 3 and at £3.55 per portion that makes them £1.18 each I feel robbed, at least Dick Turpin wore a mask ! I did make a comment to the waitress but it was ignored, did I mention there was only 3 🤦🏻 this won’t stop from going again, love the place too much but please…………..

We had the soup and half panini option for lunch.. the soup was overspiced and thick and there wasn't much going on eithbthe half panini.. which doesn't make sense at all anyway. Nice hot coffee though and they made me a Cortado! Nice.. 4 🌟

Great food, looking forward to going back

My lovely partner and I have been regular visitors to Harborne, Birmingham over the past 18 months. Sian has been undergoing invasive treatments for two cancers, one of which is extremely rare. Not withstanding the lovely Birmingham QE Staff, we have found much solace and calm at the Arco lounge. An extensive tasty menu, good choice of drinks, but most of all the staff and surroundings allow you to relax and forget ones woes. Laid back would be doing them a disservice, as they are attentive and helpful. Always a warm welcome, they have made our visits so much more than about medical treatment. Harborne has become a place we can never forget. Thank you. Norman and Sian

We had to travel a good distance to get here as we were looking for a place to enjoy coffee and good conversation. Difficult on a Sunday night in Birmingham. We were not disappointed as the coffee was great and the atmosphere welcoming, if I lived in this area then it would be my go to place. Next time I’ll try the food menu.

Thoroughly enjoyed a recent visit. Very busy but can book a table later in the afternoon. Good choice of food and drinks. It has an interesting vibe with lovely decor and an eclectic mix of customers. Will visit again

Went for lunch with my friend and chose the fish finger sandwich, which was faultless! I ordered garlic and parmesan fries on the side, which were so moreish. Service was brilliant despite being busy during lunchtime rush. We then had dessert. I ordered the banoffee cheesecake and a latte. Both delicious!! Atmosphere was great. Parking available across the road. Will definitely be going again.

If a perfect cozy place for dinner exists ! Your search is over. This is your one spot place for yummy Multi cuisine food. Loved the staff interactions specially the head cheff and assistant manager who were way down to earth and very friendly. I would must recommend this restaurant if you really want to get your tummies filled ❤️

Was 18th Earthday dinner, plus Mothers Day treat

Came here Monday with a friend. My first visit. Very cosy atmosphere and restaurant is laid out well. I like how you can pick your own table too! Great deal on a Monday where you get a free glass of wine or a dessert with any main meal. We ordered everything through the app using the QR code on the table. Drinks were bought over quickly. We ordered: Beef brisket chilli. This was amazing. The beef just melted in your mouth. Wasn't a huge fan of the rice. Found it a bit too salty. Chicken Kiev Burger. My friend really enjoyed this, although, the garlic butter did make it very messy to eat! 🤣 Side of fries Side of onion rings All food was fresh and hot. We had churros and sticky toffee pudding for dessert. Again, really good and the salted caramel sauce with the churros was delicious 😋 Great value for money. Service was excellent. Would definitely return and highly recommend.

I went to Arco lounge Harborne with my friend this afternoon. We ordered 2 mozzarella paninis. The food was cold, hardly any cheese in it and lots of ketchup. Absolutely disgusting. Total waste of money. I have been to arco lounge so many times, however, this is the first time I had such a rubbish food. Also, the young girl in the bar, served the wrong wine initially( cheaper wine) until I pointed out to her!

Visited the restaurant last week with a pre booking. It was a Saturday night, so was indeed crowded and loud. We were a group of 7 people and the dishes we ordered were very average and nothing extra ordinary like the other reviews. The milk shakes were still fine. They had board games to play with as well which was a good distraction..overall a very average experience.

Today was my first time here and i’m certain it will not be my last! The atmosphere and vibes here are amazing and the staff are so lovely it made my experience perfect. The food came out quickly despite it being quite busy at the time I was there, and it was well worth the price!

Haven’t been to any of the lounges in a while and it was so lovely to see how large the gluten free menu is now! The gluten free bread is not amazing but having sausages available is such a simple but lovely thing. The staff were great too, I’ll be back again soon

if you want breakfast, or lunch, or a coffee, then come here (I haven’t been for dinner but suspect it’s also exemplary). I usually come here for breakfast (and have been for two and a half years since I moved to Harborne). I’ve tried every place on the High Street for breakfast and this is the best by a mile. Silky coffee (or a bitter burst, if that’s your thing), lovely and warm decor, and the food (in almost every case) is cooked perfectly. Service is ALWAYS warm and friendly, cutlery is clean, fresh, cold water is available whenever you want it, and they have excellent musical taste. Only gripes: - The poached eggs need a minute longer (always a bit slimy) and possibly need to be fresher. Fried eggs are amazing though. - It’s a child friendly place, which may not suit some people as yelling toddlers can disrupt a quiet breakfast.

We have always loved Arco Lounge. The atmosphere is great, the team are always cheerful and helpful and the food and coffee is first class

Staff were very friendly, very homely feel. You can expect to walk into a natural setting where people feel comfortable conversing and even playing cards with a bottle of wine. Certainly what you need if you want to wind down. Been here a few times now and even got a drink on the house because the bar staff noticed my birthday badge. Little things make a place like this and would definitely come back in future as good and service and food/drink was superb.

Deceiving from the outside. Looks like it will be small but as you enter it's very room and tables are spaced out nicely. Great service from the staff here. Make you feel very welcome! Visited today with my wife and baby and enjoyed a lovely brunch.

Enjoyed a decent pint of IPA Ale in good company and in a warm cosy corner of the pub. This pub situated just of greenfield and Vivian Road is regarded the quieter part of Harborne. Looks to be under new management offering food as well. Popular with the locals especially in the summer with a pretty large beer garden. Always had a good pint and conversation in the New Inn.

Incredible experience. I had to customise my burger (picky eater) and they accommodated fine! When they brought it out initially it didn’t have bacon and cheese on (likely just an error in communication as I customised) and when I told them they immediately took it back and brought a replacement really fast. They also gave me another drink on them which was unnecessary but welcomed and appreciated. We came on the Monday so got the free dessert deal. It was clear they were a bit short staffed but the staff on shift worked incredibly hard to deliver a great service, and as our dessert was delayed a tiny bit they offered us another drink which I declined but they gave my girlfriend a water! Too kind At the end we were offered even more drinks and it’s clear this is the kind of establishment that truly cares for its customers. Special shout-out to the lady with the glasses, i didn’t get her name but she was too kind. All staff on shift today were A*

We took our very well-behaved, large 9 month old cane corso dog, and the staff could not have been more welcoming or accommodating, making sure she was given water and treats. They also made a special fuss of my mum whose 80th birthday we were celebrating. Food was fab. Service excellent. Prices really fair. We will definitely recommend and return. Thanks for such a lively time

I had the best night out with my girlfriends!! The atmosphere was perfect, the service was great and the food was delicious. We had a problem with one of our sides and they happily sorted it out. Will go again

I was there with my friend and we ordered truffle chicken. it had a strong smell of alcohol and since then I feel so sick after a day. the alcohol was not mentioned in the food ingredient. The price is high, compared to the food quality. a glass of orange juice is above £5! Truffle chicken was mostly potatoes and sauce and few small pieces of chicken.

Our first and last visit to Arco Lounge. Group of three friends we all ordered the same meal Buttermilk chicken with fries and slaw. Chicken was dark and over cooked. Fries were cold and hollow. Just bits. A very small portion of slaw that looked to be turning brown. No one came to our table whilst we were eating to see if we were happy. We all just picked at the Chicken and left the rest. As we were leaving a waiter came to clear our plates at which point we said we had not enjoyed our lunch. No acknowledgement just continued to clear. We were disappointed as we had been recommended to try Arco.

A lovely place that I thoroughly enjoy going to. Having recently learned that I was gluten intolerant I had been miserable at having my food choices severely limited, but the food they do here is so gorgeous and mixed with the cozy atmosphere it's a lovely place to visit that I usually bring friends to if we're looking for a place that fits most dietary needs or even if we just want a nice place to go. My only nitpicky qualm is that the wooden chairs can get a little uncomfortable if you stay there too long, but I'm talking over two hours and there are couch and booth options too if you can get them.

Atmosphere nothing special, service doesn’t exist because you order with the app, food very plain, cider tasted very old. I had the chicken salad and it was literally rocket salad out of a bag, mayo, cherry tomatoes, 30g of chicken breast and red onion with no oil or salad dressing, really nothing special and the rocket salad looked old, also they added finely grated cheese on top of the salad like of was a pasta dish. I will not come back here.

Great place to hang out. Food on this occasion wasn't great at all. Ordered flatbread with lamb shawarma and falafel with flat bread. Ate it cos was very hungry after a long days at work. But I couldn't eat the flat bread. Must say the manager was great and took the feedback positively.
