Arco Lounge in Birmingham

The staff were friendly and welcoming. The tomato and basil soup was delicious. The atmosphere was relaxed and a great time was had by all.🌼

Lovely food and great service, including handing of allergen requirements by our server Mark. We a free second slice of (nut free!) carrot cake after a slightly long wait for it, for which we were very grateful. Four stars rather than five as I would have appreciated if the sauces on my burger could have been swapped in the kitchen rather than by me at the table. Still, a great date night.

The staff are always friendly and helpful,food never disappoints. I had gf sausage sandwich and my cousin a vegan BLT.

Brought my mum in for her birthday. The lounges are usually our go - to for a late lunch/early dinner. The two blokes on shift were both warm and welcoming (genuine). I assume it was the GM that served me and he couldn’t do enough for us. One of the best visits to a lounge I’ve had for ages. Thank you again guys! Honourable mention for he kitchen too, food was amazing.

Absolutamente repugnante servicio de un miembro del personal en particular, grosero, arrogante, amenazante y añejo todo demostrado el domingo, dejado con mi familia, no volverá. ¡Disgustado más allá de lo que se puede creer! Si quieres ser reprendido, amenazado y generalmente tratado como basura, acércate cuando esta 'cosa' esté ahí. Obviamente luchando por el personal porque su personal amable habitual ya no están allí.

Incredibly rude man, followed me out of the restaurant as I was leaving (having been virtually told to leave),wanted to continue to remonstrate and argue. Will never frequent this place again, you, young man are a poor excuse for a human being, perhaps we will meet in three decades as you said. Just out of interest, what has my age got to do with you?? Poor staff will always be the lowest common denominator.

I am a regular customer here and have brought SEVERAL of my family and friends here over the past few years. Spent thousands at this establishment minimum. All the staff here are fantastic even with my pets and all know us very well. There is a new starter here (male) who is softly spoken but VERY rude. Me and my associates have felt the same way but always turned a blind eye as we love the food. However, today 02/03/25 on a busy Sunday afternoon this outrageously disgusting, failure of an employee decided to raise his voice and talk down on loyal customers without knowing the scenario. We arrived, upon entry let a disabled male and his family in (of 3). They then sat down in a 6 seated table, which was no issue even though it was the last table of 6, they even asked us to join them, nothing but good energy and vibes unfortunately we couldn’t as we wouldn’t have he space for our other friends when they arrived. He said he would move if he wanted us to. Then the RUDE MALE STAFF MEMBER said ‘there is a policy and I won’t be moving anyone as there disabled, take my advice’. Infront of a full restaurant making it look like we had been intruding which is not truth. Then, if he had opened his eyes he would have notices at the front there was a family of four leaving… so much for your ‘company policy’ wouldn’t it be easier to put a disabled person at the front of the restaurant so they can leave easily incase of emergency? So much for company policy. We then said we was going to ask as he said he didn’t mind… once again, raising his voice. The male even followed us OUTSIDE the restaurant to continue talking down on us making sarcastic remarks such as ‘you can come back in 3 decades mate’, ‘your not bigger than our company policy’. The issue is not that there was no space/busy or company policy, the issue is this person thinking he can jump to conclusions and disturb other people’s peaceful meals trying to prove a point arguing with a happily, regular paying customer and coming to the door to continue confronting us. I called the manager she would not disclose his name, for a complaint but she did offer a table STRAIGHT after the incident … how does this make sense? If he said he couldn’t and wouldn’t move? All the other staff here are amazing. This one lets the side down majorly on my last visit, he also spoke down on the establishment. I will be sharing this on social media with outlets that have over 100,000 followers and also insuring all my family, friends and clients DO NOT visit this place, as I do not want them experiencing such a displeasure after me recommending this place so much. But I would like to add, the rest of the staff are amazing and exactly what I would want representing my own business.

i visit this store weekly with my family and the staff are usually pleasant. today i was in the store and witnessed one of the male staff being rude to one of the customers. He was practically shoving him cout the store and verbally attacking him on the way out using the customers age in a derogatory way. Will not be returning and many of the other customers in store was saying the same thing.

One if the guys was very friendly, took our dietary request (celiac disease) seriously and even gave my dad a complimentary beer for his birthday, one of the other gents was a bit blunt like but i understand there are certain protocols that need to be followed but could have explained it abit nicer…

Tuvimos un gran almuerzo en Arco hoy. Servicio fabuloso, personal súper amable, comida sabrosa. Estaba muy ocupado, pero la espera de una mesa era solo cuestión de minutos, con el personal siendo muy eficiente en la limpieza de mesas tan pronto como otros se fueron. Lo recomendaría!

Try the Lounge Burger – you won't be disappointed! Unlike certain fast-food restaurants (such as the one with the clown), the burgers here are packed with flavour. The patties are thick and great quality, the pickles are tasty, the cheese is delicious and the brioche buns are fantastic. The staff are as great as the food and really helpful, and it was clean and tidy inside. It's on the smaller side and can get a little noisy when it's full, but if you're ok with that you'll really enjoy it here. We'll definitely pop in again when we're in the area!

We had an amazing experience here today for a family New Year’s Eve early dinner. A table of 6 at 5pm The staff are so friendly and really made us feel at ease dining with a 2 year old. Beautiful atmosphere (except our noisy toddler) The food was so delicious, very flavourful and hearty It felt home from home The cocktails are amazing Really looking forward to coming here again Thank you to the staff for making our experience so special Paige x

Had a lovely breakfast at Arco Lounge in Birmingham! The breakfast muffin was delicious—perfectly cooked with just the right balance of flavors. The Full English was hearty and satisfying, with everything cooked to perfection. Great portion sizes too! The service was friendly and efficient, and the cozy atmosphere made it a relaxing spot to start the day. Excellent value for the quality and experience. Will definitely be back for more!

Very nice place. Today I had the Breakfast Quesadillas and it was perfection. So fresh, tasty, well presented and great value for money. The lounge & large breakfasts need more beans though.....!

Had my granddaughters birthday meal because some of the family are vegans we thought would try it . Service was great as we entered the door with cake box in hand Drew one of the servers couldn't do enough for us . Staff were friendly, helpful and very efficient especially as their was 17 of us adults and children. Would definitely recommend it very family friendly with things for the children to do. Friendly restaurant/pub with good range of drinks and food

Visited Arco Lounge Harbourne this evening with our family for my daughter’s birthday! There were 9 of us, aged from 5yrs to 77yrs and we all had a wonderful time. Delicious food, great atmosphere and the customer service was fabulous!! Thank you so much for a great evening Would highly recommend Arco Lounge! Xxxx

Drew es el mejor servidor, chico encantador y amable! tan pronto como entramos por la puerta nos hace sentir tan bienvenidos, nada es demasiado para él. Mi madre y yo nos encanta visitar el salón Arco, por lo general tenemos una comida sabrosa y una copa de vino frío encantador. A mi madre le encanta venir sola en alguna ocasión para tomar un té y un pastel de té tostado. Todo el personal es amable y servicial. El ambiente es relajado, la decoración y la iluminación son preciosas. Las velas encendidas por la noche hacen que se sienta muy acogedor. Esta es nuestra parada siempre en Harborne High Street después de comprar una taza relajada y ponerse al día.

We (including the dog) had an amazing experience thanks to Drew. They had a separate menu for vegans. So much to choose from. The service was outstanding. Will certainly return.

Drew was fantastic today. We were a group of two and a baby and initially sat at a large table as the only one available on entry. Drew was friendly and welcoming and cleared the table quickly from the previous group. We ordered online and the food and drinks came quickly. As we were eating Drew came to ask if we would mind moving to a smaller table as a large group had arrived and there were no other big tables. He was really polite and apologetic about even having to ask. We didn't mind moving, he helped us and gave a free desert as a thank you. Drew really made the difference and had amazing customer service.

The decor is fascinating... The atmosphere is welcoming... Pancakes delicious... Fabulous experience.

We went to Arco as a spur of the moment decision because where we initially planned to go was closed. Arco turned out to the best decision. Not only was the service warm, friendly and happy to help and please. The food was also delicious and was not at all pricey. The wait time for the food was also remarkable shorter compared to some other places that I have been. It was an overall pleasant experience. We sat for a long time after eating, discussing and gisting and no attempts were made to rush us out of there. Definitely worth the money and we will be returning.

Hemos estado aquí varias veces y decidimos pasar por el brunch del domingo. Me gusta Arco Lounge, el personal amable y la comida llegó inmediatamente buen momento. La comida no fue la mejor, sin embargo; las tortitas que tuvimos estaban muy sobrecocinadas y secas. El tocino estaba bien, de nuevo un poco exagerado, pero por suerte nos gusta nuestro tocino crujiente! Para un plato simple de tortitas y tocino, deberían hacerlo mejor. ¡Por lo demás estaba bien!

Fantastic food and service, lovely lunch

Very accommodating to my fussy children and good allergy management/manager very welcoming. Although not a fan of their disclaimer statement but it's not branch's fault, comes from head office, sadly way restaurants are going. "Would ask you to think carefully about the risks before you order". We did feel our daughter was safe and would recommend to allergy families and because we love the food.

Very tasty, I had a gluten free vegan burger with fries and it was incredible!!!! Staff were friendly and service was great!

Fantastic place to chill out for a coffee and cake. Went there for dessert and it was lovely. Great ambience and completely chilled out place with an amazing layout and decor. Will come back again this time for main food and sharer platter.

Great place. Why anyone would choose to go to a chain coffee shop (Costa, Starbucks...et al) when you have this absolute gem on your doorstep is beyond me. Can't wait to go back. Food was creative and very tasty.

Fantastic place to meet up with friends, with a cordial atmosphere Had a great selection of cocktails, they also had a separate matching vegan and gluten free menu with an exquisite range of deserts so that no one missied out. All of the staff were friendly and good natured. I have found another place to add to my favourite list of eating out.

This restaurant has been on the High Street in Harborne for some time. I lived in Harborne for over 40 years and have never gone inside until recently. I quickly found out that I have missed a wonderful venue. Excellent menu to cater for all tastes, covering Brunch, Sandwiches, Flatbreads, Burgers, Salads and Mains. My wife chose Lounge Eggs Smoked Salmon, from the Brunch menu and I opted for the sandwich menu, ordering a Chicken Club Ciabatta. When the meals came, they were generous portions and cooked to perfection. My Ciabatta was without doubt superb. Prices very reasonable. We will certainly be going there again. Recommended.

After walking out of TGI Fridays last night due to a poor menu and the amount of time waiting to order , my husband and i decided to drive to Harbourne and see what we could find to eat lol. We came accross Arco Lounge and thought what the hell lets give it a try and WOW this place was so easy going, we ordered the steak, onion rings, garlic ciabatta and garlic and parmesan fries and it was absolutely amazing! Garlic butter melted all over the steak was so good, we both cleaned our plates 🤣 we followed with cinnamon churros with caramel and chocolate dipping sauce and chocolate brownie , both myself and my husband are very worldly traveled and can honestly say this was up there with one of the best and excellent value for money , so safe to say we will be returning!

Worst lounge we have been to yet. No welcome or check in re food during meal, as per usual for lounges. Tomato had stringy centre left in both meals. Disappointed

This is not a dog friendly restaurant at all. First of all, not allow dog barking. My little dog barked once the staff was acting like they have been scared by a horror movie. To not allow a dog barking, is the same as to stop human from cough or sneeze! Secondly, not allow dog on the chair, if you can’t make it completely dog friendly why you would allow dogs in! Very stressful, don’t like the atmosphere there! would not go again!

The kindness and hospitality i’ve experienced at Argo Lounge is unmatched. Every time i’ve come here (which is pretty frequently) the people have been so lovely and friendly - I’ve never had a bad experience. The food is delicious, with large portions and appropriate prices. The coffee and mac and cheese is a favourite of mine. I definitely recommend coming here, a real 10/10

Been here quite a few times and it honestly never disappoints, went there today and yet again, atmosphere was great, food excellent as were the staff, however, just one complaint, ordered a side of onion rings to come with the meal and they turned up actually on my partners plate and not in a separate bowl as ordered, not a problem you say, there were 3 onion rings, yes 3 and at £3.55 per portion that makes them £1.18 each I feel robbed, at least Dick Turpin wore a mask ! I did make a comment to the waitress but it was ignored, did I mention there was only 3 🤦🏻 this won’t stop from going again, love the place too much but please…………..

We had the soup and half panini option for lunch.. the soup was overspiced and thick and there wasn't much going on eithbthe half panini.. which doesn't make sense at all anyway. Nice hot coffee though and they made me a Cortado! Nice.. 4 🌟

My lovely partner and I have been regular visitors to Harborne, Birmingham over the past 18 months. Sian has been undergoing invasive treatments for two cancers, one of which is extremely rare. Not withstanding the lovely Birmingham QE Staff, we have found much solace and calm at the Arco lounge. An extensive tasty menu, good choice of drinks, but most of all the staff and surroundings allow you to relax and forget ones woes. Laid back would be doing them a disservice, as they are attentive and helpful. Always a warm welcome, they have made our visits so much more than about medical treatment. Harborne has become a place we can never forget. Thank you. Norman and Sian

We had to travel a good distance to get here as we were looking for a place to enjoy coffee and good conversation. Difficult on a Sunday night in Birmingham. We were not disappointed as the coffee was great and the atmosphere welcoming, if I lived in this area then it would be my go to place. Next time I’ll try the food menu.

Thoroughly enjoyed a recent visit. Very busy but can book a table later in the afternoon. Good choice of food and drinks. It has an interesting vibe with lovely decor and an eclectic mix of customers. Will visit again

Went for lunch with my friend and chose the fish finger sandwich, which was faultless! I ordered garlic and parmesan fries on the side, which were so moreish. Service was brilliant despite being busy during lunchtime rush. We then had dessert. I ordered the banoffee cheesecake and a latte. Both delicious!! Atmosphere was great. Parking available across the road. Will definitely be going again.

Loved the staff interactions specially the head cheff and assistant manager who were way down to earth and very friendly. Came here Monday with a friend. My first visit. Very cosy atmosphere and restaurant is laid out well. I like how you can pick your own table too! Great deal on a Monday where you get a free glass of wine or a dessert with any main meal. We ordered everything through the app using the QR code on the table. Drinks were bought over quickly. We ordered: Beef brisket chilli. This was amazing. The beef just melted in your mouth. Wasn't a huge fan of the rice. Found it a bit too salty. Chicken Kiev Burger. My friend really enjoyed this, although, the garlic butter did make it very messy to eat! 🤣 Side of fries Side of onion rings All food was fresh and hot. We had churros and sticky toffee pudding for dessert. Again, really good and the salted caramel sauce with the churros was delicious 😋 Great value for money. Service was excellent. Would definitely return and highly recommend.

I went to Arco lounge Harborne with my friend this afternoon. We ordered 2 mozzarella paninis. The food was cold, hardly any cheese in it and lots of ketchup. Absolutely disgusting. Total waste of money. I have been to arco lounge so many times, however, this is the first time I had such a rubbish food. Also, the young girl in the bar, served the wrong wine initially( cheaper wine) until I pointed out to her!

Visited the restaurant last week with a pre booking. It was a Saturday night, so was indeed crowded and loud. We were a group of 7 people and the dishes we ordered were very average and nothing extra ordinary like the other reviews. The milk shakes were still fine. They had board games to play with as well which was a good distraction..overall a very average experience.

Today was my first time here and i’m certain it will not be my last! The atmosphere and vibes here are amazing and the staff are so lovely it made my experience perfect. The food came out quickly despite it being quite busy at the time I was there, and it was well worth the price!

Haven’t been to any of the lounges in a while and it was so lovely to see how large the gluten free menu is now! The gluten free bread is not amazing but having sausages available is such a simple but lovely thing. The staff were great too, I’ll be back again soon
