Archie's - Trafford Centre in Trafford

We’ve made a tradition with my nieces/nephews to break fast at Archies once each Ramadan because it’s a bit of fun and the kids enjoy it. Was wondering if it would be the last year we do it because quality has been getting poorer each year BUT very pleasantly surprised this time, food was hot, tasted freshly made, looked the part (not all squashed and unloved): back to the Archies we remember. It was a Sunday evening so quieter than normal, so maybe a lesson in what has been affecting quality when it’s really busy at other times. Always a nice touch to have dates and water for those breaking their fast. Hope this is just a turning point and things keep this way!

Took the family in here for lunch. Up there with one of the worst burgers and chips I’ve had. The staff on the counter were uneducated and clueless about the menu?? They looked like they hated being there. The burger was overly greasy and had a horrible taste to it. Even the chips tasted horrible like the oil hasn’t been changed in ages. Out of all the places to eat at the Trafford centre, this should be the last choice for anyone it was genuinely terrible. Expensive too!! I’d give it 0/5 stars if I could.

Extremely slow service. 3 staff on a Friday night. Awful

Came to the Trafford Centre with my family a few months ago decided to eat at Archies. Expensive for what we got but would expect that in a shopping centre . Just wanted to say gentleman that served us was so professional and had a great attitude called Zubar.

Food was good and special thanks to yarick and josh 10/10 customer service.Looked after us at iftari what a great touch with dates and water.

Very tasty food but long Q, staffs on till dnt even know their own App, manager didnt seem friendly in 2 visits i had , but other staffs were active , i highly recommend their beef burgers , meat is better that chicken and tbeir fries is not comparable with anywhere else due to sauce

A long wait considering it was quiet the cook seemed to busy on his phone the food was good and the burger was the saviour the place as a whole is good and you really need to like pink.

As much as the item names would like to convince you otherwise, not good. Wraps comprised of the discount veg section from Tesco, burgers that looked like they were assembled via catapult, and milkshakes so thick you'll collapse a lung trying to suck the blighters up. All while seated in a cross between a Barbie playset and the backrooms

Worst meal I've ever had. The chicken burger barely had any meat and the batter was terrible and oily. The beef burger tasted nothing but of oil. The fries were cold. The chicken tenders were overly battered and tasted far too oily and like a curry. Cajun mayo was nice.

I wish I could give zero stars. My sister and I decided to eat at Archie’s, and it turned out to be one of the worst decisions we’ve ever made. The food looked decent, but within hours of eating, we were both severely ill with food poisoning. We experienced intense stomach cramps, nausea, and vomiting that lasted for days. It’s clear there are major hygiene or food safety issues here. This was a truly awful experience, and I wouldn’t wish it on anyone. If you care about your health, avoid this place at all costs.

Quick service, the gentleman that took our order was very helpful and patient. Tasty food. Slightly expensive but a nice treat.

Usually go to the archies that's in the actual trafford centre food court. But since we were by primark we decided to go to the one next door to primark. Expected the same quality as all the archies I've eaten. However took one bite into my burger and there was the longest hair cooked in with the actual chicken breast.

Ordered the Good Burger Along with the crinkle peri fries and it didn’t disappoint. Cooked by Javed , very good chef The burger cooked perfectly made me wanna get another, Fries cooked bang on. Staff are very friendly and polite. Overall really good food and service, will be recommending and returning.

Staff didn't remember table number,waited over 40 mins for food.

Not impressed. Brought my nieces for waffles. They brought out freezing cold and hard waffles, clearly been returned by someone else or been left on on the side for ages. Wasn't even edible. Bricks would be softer. Was very nice about returning them and got nothing but staff pointing and laughing. Won't be coming back. Shocking for a big brand to cut corners this way. Like they even need to.

Came to Archie’s today in the Trafford Centre and the lady who served us Maria I think her name was.. she was super nice! Really friendly and efficient. Really pleasant with my children made our experience to Archie’s wonderful so thank you! Food was really nice! Came quickly and was piping hot! Ice cream Lotus sauce & toppings went down a treat 💯 recommend. My kids had to have seconds. Interior of Archie’s spotlessly clean and a fabulous pink themed with little quotes around. Makes you smile while enjoying lovely food! Great for taking pictures for the memory box. Will definitely visit again a hit with all the family.

We really enjoyed the skating, the floor staff for that were amazing and attentive. However the staff serving behind the food counter didn't seem to understand taking food orders, it felt like it was his first day and he didn't seem in any hurry to figure anything out. The serving staff were very rude, seemed to like to walk around in pairs having a laugh with eachother, just threw our food down and giggled walking away as we tried to ask for some condiments and cutlery. One meal was missing which took until we were finished to find it and it had been carried round the venue many times in a take away bag. We had asked many servers to chase up our missing meal and gave up and asked the lady on the hunt with the takeaway bag if that could be ours as there was only 1 other family there eating and she just handed it over and said "well you can have it anyway since noone wants it" to which wen pointed out it would be nice to check to see if it's her order first and edible, which it was, not that she stayed around to find out after sarcastically shrugging her shoulders in a 'thats not my problem' manner. My goodness, it just felt like a group of teenagers left to have a laugh and hang out with eachother. No charisma, just more intimidating to not dare interrupt their social time. And this for a Saturday night which is probably peak time which you'd think you'd want your best staff on. Oh and half of the burgers were very very greasy, like soaked through, I'd recommend the single patty as that seemed less so. Again, skating staff were great. There's defiantly a strong difference in the two groups for sure.

Visited for the first time on thursday and was quite overwhelmed but was helped by a lady called chelsea who made the experience easy. Will deffo return

Great spot for lunch! We had come from Scotland for a day of shopping at the sales. I wanted something fun for my two daughters, who also love milkshakes so this felt like the perfect spot - especially when they saw the whole place was pink! We only like milkshakes if they are thick and these are the real deal! So thick you struggle to get it out of the straw, that's when you know they're good! We mainly came for the shakes so were pleasantly surprised that the burgers were SO good too! We asked two different members of staff for ketchup that never materialised either time so that was a bit of a let down bit couldn't fault the food or the vibes.

Got a cheetos burger meal which was cold. Complained to the staff and asked them to warm it up instead they immediately replaced it with a hot fresh one 👍

Food is decent BUT takes ages to get served

Atmosphere was really good and ordering process was excellent. Just had to scan the QR code order what I would like to eat and pay on the phone so simple. Food came to us roughly 15 minutes and was warm and delicious would highly recommend to people if they need a pick me up snack while shopping.

Have suffered food poisoning after eating food from Archies. Very concerning for the Trafford Centre to allow such food outlets to operate that are poisoning customers. It is not like we are living in a 3rd world country. Better hygiene standards required or they need to shutdown. Won't be going again once is enough.

Food was very greasy, forgot part of my order and staff just put the food down and walked away. Did not check if order was correct. Opted for one large drink and one regular and the difference was a mouthful of that! Overall disappointed

We come to Archie’s atomic for a fun time and waited 2 hours for a dance class to end which my kids didn’t enjoy then only got about 15 minutes of roller skating and then after roller skating my two kids coat got stolen one was a moncler coat she barely wore told staff and he said he would check the cctv and ring us today I was not impressed with this experience and I would proably not come again food was ok nothing special overall 4/10

Very nice decoration, fun setting. The burgers are good but the rest is not! Whether it was the fries, the drinks or the small snacks we didn't like it. It's very American fast food

I visited with my 5 year old son during half-term as part of our day out to some local attractions. We were greeted by Sandra, who instantly engaged and was absolutely brilliant with my boy. What a lovely, kind and attentive woman, and a true asset to the business. The interaction with staff can make or break a customer experience, and Sandra certainly made ours. The food was great, venue was clean and the experience was made all the more better by the friendliness of Sandra. She didn't ask for a review, but I felt compelled to come on here and give one.

Absolutely delicious food in a gorgeous pink restaurant environment. Could not fault the staff or food at all and it was very delicious and tasty/filling. The pink mayo was a very cute touch aswell.

Me and my friends got food poisoning this is very unsanitary and unnecessary there is no need for us to have food poisoning. We got it by eating at this restaurant. I think this is disgusting and this place should be shut down immediately!!!

Firstly I have been going to Archie’s since it started on Oxford road in 2010. I now live in a city which does not have an Archie’s and was craving one for a while well I was massively disappointed. I was informed they no longer do the ‘Daddy burger’ the man on tills could not suggest what I got instead, I then decided on the ‘route 66’ burger and asked for no bbq sauce but chilli instead. The food arrived cold unfortunately, the burger arrived with no sauce at all. I tried to asked 2 members of staff for help and I was ignored I then went to the tills and the young man said he could only offer me a pot of chilli sauce by the time I got the sauce the food was colder than it arrived. The standards of Archie’s seems to have dropped massively. We have made the decision to not return even again. I’d advise spending your money else where there are better options in the Trafford Center!

I Absolutely loved this place , I ordered a Cheeto chicken burger and it was absolutely amazing, and also , I ordered some wings and a Kinder Bueno Milkshake which was also top notch , if I come to Trafford centre , definitely be coming

I’m bewildered. The level of hospitality is simply out of this world. I came in unsure and nervous about my visit but after meeting with the world renowned Niraj I was entranced by his warming aura. He gave me the perfect recommendation (Big Mac) and courted me gracefully towards having what is now the greatest experience of my life. I’m counting the days so I can revisit his majestic smile. Please. Give this man a raise.

Although the food was okay it took ages to arrive and we were one of the only people in the place. No atmosphere at all and staff were not really very helpful. Will not be going again.

Fries were not properly tossed after being sprinkled with salt and spices. Some fries were extremely salty borderline bitter, while some with no salt at all. Overall the food was good.

We visited yesterday for dinner, about 7pm and the place was nearly empty, so not much atmosphere but the music was good! The Sweet Alabama burger was quite moist will all the extras, but tasted great. However, at nearly a tenner alone, it was on the expensive side for a fast food joint. Also ordered a Million Dollar milkshake, again not worth the price of £6 and misleading as it said Cadbury’s flake, but didn’t come with one? So the food would warrant maybe 3 stars. However, within an hour of eating I had violent diarrhoea! I hadn’t eaten anything else since breakfast and I’m fine again today, so not a bug and definitely the food as my friend was also ill. Not a happy bunny!!

Went today for something to eat, on arrival the staff were all cleaning which was a good first impression and polite, we sat down and ordered via the qr code (much simpler in my opinion), the drinks came first shortly followed by the main meals, we both had the alabama burger and can honestly say it's the best smash burger I've had, I also had the cheesy crinkle cut fries which were also top notch,after that we had the waffle (which was then I realised I should have been taking photos to post for this review) which was really tasty,all the staff were very friendly,professional and always helpful which was a nice change from most eateries we go to, would 100% recommend archies if you visit the trafford centre!

The peri peri flavor wings are a taste sensation, and the drinks are spot on. The vibrant decorations add to the lively atmosphere, making it a great spot to grab a quick bite.

Chips were horrible microwave at best. Burger was bang average. Shakes were decent as where the wings. However £40 for two burgers 1 chips 2 shakes and wings is ridiculous. Won't be going again

Food: very nice juice smash burger with turkey bacon slightly salty however overall good. Very tasty peri peri wings. Service: Extremely friendly staff the fries came cold ask them to change it and they brought fresh batch straight away Atmosphere: Barbie vibe to it. everything is pink not for me but With many sits and very clean. Overall good would recommend people to visit the branch
