Archie's - Trafford Centre in Trafford

Extremely shocking behaviour displayed by manager yesterday evening. Worker at cashier made a mistake with my order which meant the manager refused to honour us with our free milkshake! The manager blamed us when it was the cashier’s mistake and did not accept it was their mistake. She then proceeded to cancel both our food orders and had the cheek to charge us for the milkshake, deliberately short-changed us on the refund then gave a sarcastic comment when we noticed. Never experienced such unprofessional, malicious behaviour!

My review is 3 months late on . I went in march to trafford centre and i found the staff was polite and all though it was extremly buzy in their it took 10min wait for my biscof milkshake which it was well worth the wait . I had a large one awell and it was clean in their aswell . I would definelty visit it again. It reminds me of plouise all pink in side . I would recommend this to the public and to any one visting trafford center . Thank you for an amazing experince. Loved it so much.xxxx

Teen girls idea of heaven, food was alright but what stood out was Jarek. Exceptional service, he is aware of everything going on in the restaurant and is a credit to the business.

Prompt service. Not too busy - mid week. Clean and tidy. Chilled music.

Went for lunch today for the first time - really impressed with everything start to finish. Food was quick, fresh and delicious and the manager with the shaved head was very accommodating and friendly. Will be returning again soon!

Came in to this archies branch and wanted to know if the food was halal as there is no halal sign anywhere in the shop and many Muslims were eating there. The manager assured that the food was halal so I wanted to know if there was certification for his claim. He said that the food is HMC certified. After he found the certificate, it came to my surprise that the certificate was expired by 3 years and even he did not know that this was the case. It is a shame how many Muslims are potentially eating stunned meat (not halal and not monitored by any committee) and being lied to by the management about the food being HMC certified. When you don’t even have a halal sign and your only form of certification is expired by 3 years what does that say about your brand? If the owners are Muslims and aware of this, it is a real shame that they are not ensuring halal food for customers and potentially lying about it. If they are not aware of this then it is negligence on their behalf. I would not recommend anyone who cares about their food being halal to go here.

Not the best, not the worst. The wrap I had there was no option for no tomato nor did it state on the menu it was in there. Practically no sauce was added. Service was mediocre at best, the lady who bought our food over literally just put the tray on the table and walked away not so much as a smile. For a first time visiting archies I would've expected better.

I always gets the superstar or the lil star burger, absolutely delicious, always do my burger spot on. The Nashville wings are soo good, and always get the Mac and cheese bites that are soo creamy and just delicious. My go to milkshake is the Moonwalker, always tastes soo good, definitely one for the Malteser lovers!! They never fail to do my food right and depending on what time you go their can be busy but so worth the wait and staff are always helpful and friendly.

Service is terribly slow. 30-40mins for a burger on every visit. The food is decent, but they narrowed the options so there’s no much choice. Fries and drinks are too small to feed even a child, and cost as much as huge portions anywhere else.

I had the superstar burger, the smashed burger itself it’s really delicious, the only regret you’ve ever had is not buying more. The crinkled fries with piri piri seasoning is very nice, not to dry nor too soft. Highly recommended.

everything was fine, me and my boyfriend went to get him food as i didn’t fancy an archie’s. as we were waiting his hand was on my thigh like anf normal couple. then unfortunately we got approached by a security guard stating that children and ADULTS were staring down at my thighs (i had mini shorts on so as u can imagine it made me quite uncomfortable) and got told we should take our food and leave?? (very rudely may i add plus it was a male staff worker). Spent the rest of the day conscious about my thighs. People need to learn some basic respect. Food was great though, best burger i’ve had in a while.

We ordered 3 milkshakes. They bring it to our table. But they didn't know the flavors. Genius. Happened more than once.

I was really disappointed with the service during my recent visit. Despite arriving earlier, we were overlooked in the queue while others who came after us were served first. When we raised this with the staff, we were met with a dismissive response: “That’s just how it is.” The attitude at the counter came across as uninterested and unhelpful, which only added to the frustration. Doesn’t make sense to be serving people at the end of the queue first?

Ordered my food and was given a flat water instead of iron bru. They missed a crinkle fries for my order which meant I had to make a second trip to the tills. To top it all off I had a bone in my food. First time and most likely my last time.

This is a great place to come if you want exceptionally slow service this is the place to come. The worst thing is it’s a Monday night and there is only three other customer in the whole store. Food was okay when it finally arrived

Staff are really rude and obnoxious. They really didn’t want to serve anyone even though the place was empty. No staff on the floor in the first instance. They were all hiding in the kitchen. Finally someone came out reluctantly and stared at me hoping I’d go away. Have the minimum order possible before getting out of there. Really wasn’t hungry any more so didn’t order anything myself. Why do they work there if they hate it so much. Would give 0 stars if I could. Also what’s the point of having a wait here sign at the front when they clearly have no intention of coming out of the kitchen.

The worker Matthew who has a half buzz cut was very rude to us! We only asked if we could get one burger halved she said rudely “no we can’t” it was as if the burger would take ages to cut In half. I have never experienced Archie’s service like this ever this was my first time!

Overpriced pink McDonald’s/Burger King. Plus the burgers are incredibly greasy. Save your money and go to McDonald’s etc if you want a burger of this standard.

Loved it - went for iftar - pre-ordered online (scheduled) food arrived on time was given complimentary dates and water - the food was really nice spot on smash burger!

Compared to other Archie’s locations this has to be by far the worst in terms of customer service. I understand when things are busy the staff may make some errors but when asked to make things right (to give a large drink as ordered rather than the small one that was given) they are very rude and act as if though you’ve asked for a fully comped meal and spat in their face. Food is pretty consistent so no complaints there. If you dine here don’t expect to be treated well

We’ve made a tradition with my nieces/nephews to break fast at Archies once each Ramadan because it’s a bit of fun and the kids enjoy it. Was wondering if it would be the last year we do it because quality has been getting poorer each year BUT very pleasantly surprised this time, food was hot, tasted freshly made, looked the part (not all squashed and unloved): back to the Archies we remember. It was a Sunday evening so quieter than normal, so maybe a lesson in what has been affecting quality when it’s really busy at other times. Always a nice touch to have dates and water for those breaking their fast. Hope this is just a turning point and things keep this way!

Took the family in here for lunch. Up there with one of the worst burgers and chips I’ve had. The staff on the counter were uneducated and clueless about the menu?? They looked like they hated being there. The burger was overly greasy and had a horrible taste to it. Even the chips tasted horrible like the oil hasn’t been changed in ages. Out of all the places to eat at the Trafford centre, this should be the last choice for anyone it was genuinely terrible. Expensive too!! I’d give it 0/5 stars if I could.

Came to the Trafford Centre with my family a few months ago decided to eat at Archies. Expensive for what we got but would expect that in a shopping centre . Just wanted to say gentleman that served us was so professional and had a great attitude called Zubar.

Food was good and special thanks to yarick and josh 10/10 customer service.Looked after us at iftari what a great touch with dates and water.

Very tasty food but long Q, staffs on till dnt even know their own App, manager didnt seem friendly in 2 visits i had , but other staffs were active , i highly recommend their beef burgers , meat is better that chicken and tbeir fries is not comparable with anywhere else due to sauce

As much as the item names would like to convince you otherwise, not good. Wraps comprised of the discount veg section from Tesco, burgers that looked like they were assembled via catapult, and milkshakes so thick you'll collapse a lung trying to suck the blighters up. All while seated in a cross between a Barbie playset and the backrooms

Worst meal I've ever had. The chicken burger barely had any meat and the batter was terrible and oily. The beef burger tasted nothing but of oil. The fries were cold. The chicken tenders were overly battered and tasted far too oily and like a curry. Cajun mayo was nice.

I wish I could give zero stars. My sister and I decided to eat at Archie’s, and it turned out to be one of the worst decisions we’ve ever made. The food looked decent, but within hours of eating, we were both severely ill with food poisoning. We experienced intense stomach cramps, nausea, and vomiting that lasted for days. It’s clear there are major hygiene or food safety issues here. This was a truly awful experience, and I wouldn’t wish it on anyone. If you care about your health, avoid this place at all costs.

Quick service, the gentleman that took our order was very helpful and patient. Tasty food. Slightly expensive but a nice treat.

Usually go to the archies that's in the actual trafford centre food court. But since we were by primark we decided to go to the one next door to primark. Expected the same quality as all the archies I've eaten. However took one bite into my burger and there was the longest hair cooked in with the actual chicken breast.

Ordered the Good Burger Along with the crinkle peri fries and it didn’t disappoint. Cooked by Javed , very good chef The burger cooked perfectly made me wanna get another, Fries cooked bang on. Staff are very friendly and polite. Overall really good food and service, will be recommending and returning.

Staff didn't remember table number,waited over 40 mins for food.

Not impressed. Brought my nieces for waffles. They brought out freezing cold and hard waffles, clearly been returned by someone else or been left on on the side for ages. Wasn't even edible. Bricks would be softer. Was very nice about returning them and got nothing but staff pointing and laughing. Won't be coming back. Shocking for a big brand to cut corners this way. Like they even need to.

Came to Archie’s today in the Trafford Centre and the lady who served us Maria I think her name was.. she was super nice! Really friendly and efficient. Really pleasant with my children made our experience to Archie’s wonderful so thank you! Food was really nice! Came quickly and was piping hot! Ice cream Lotus sauce & toppings went down a treat 💯 recommend. My kids had to have seconds. Interior of Archie’s spotlessly clean and a fabulous pink themed with little quotes around. Makes you smile while enjoying lovely food! Great for taking pictures for the memory box. Will definitely visit again a hit with all the family.

We really enjoyed the skating, the floor staff for that were amazing and attentive. However the staff serving behind the food counter didn't seem to understand taking food orders, it felt like it was his first day and he didn't seem in any hurry to figure anything out. The serving staff were very rude, seemed to like to walk around in pairs having a laugh with eachother, just threw our food down and giggled walking away as we tried to ask for some condiments and cutlery. One meal was missing which took until we were finished to find it and it had been carried round the venue many times in a take away bag. We had asked many servers to chase up our missing meal and gave up and asked the lady on the hunt with the takeaway bag if that could be ours as there was only 1 other family there eating and she just handed it over and said "well you can have it anyway since noone wants it" to which wen pointed out it would be nice to check to see if it's her order first and edible, which it was, not that she stayed around to find out after sarcastically shrugging her shoulders in a 'thats not my problem' manner. My goodness, it just felt like a group of teenagers left to have a laugh and hang out with eachother. No charisma, just more intimidating to not dare interrupt their social time. And this for a Saturday night which is probably peak time which you'd think you'd want your best staff on. Oh and half of the burgers were very very greasy, like soaked through, I'd recommend the single patty as that seemed less so. Again, skating staff were great. There's defiantly a strong difference in the two groups for sure.

Great spot for lunch! We had come from Scotland for a day of shopping at the sales. I wanted something fun for my two daughters, who also love milkshakes so this felt like the perfect spot - especially when they saw the whole place was pink! We only like milkshakes if they are thick and these are the real deal! So thick you struggle to get it out of the straw, that's when you know they're good! We mainly came for the shakes so were pleasantly surprised that the burgers were SO good too! We asked two different members of staff for ketchup that never materialised either time so that was a bit of a let down bit couldn't fault the food or the vibes.

Got a cheetos burger meal which was cold. Complained to the staff and asked them to warm it up instead they immediately replaced it with a hot fresh one 👍

Food is decent BUT takes ages to get served

Atmosphere was really good and ordering process was excellent. Just had to scan the QR code order what I would like to eat and pay on the phone so simple. Food came to us roughly 15 minutes and was warm and delicious would highly recommend to people if they need a pick me up snack while shopping.

Have suffered food poisoning after eating food from Archies. Very concerning for the Trafford Centre to allow such food outlets to operate that are poisoning customers. It is not like we are living in a 3rd world country. Better hygiene standards required or they need to shutdown. Won't be going again once is enough.

Food was very greasy, forgot part of my order and staff just put the food down and walked away. Did not check if order was correct. Opted for one large drink and one regular and the difference was a mouthful of that! Overall disappointed

We come to Archie’s atomic for a fun time and waited 2 hours for a dance class to end which my kids didn’t enjoy then only got about 15 minutes of roller skating and then after roller skating my two kids coat got stolen one was a moncler coat she barely wore told staff and he said he would check the cctv and ring us today I was not impressed with this experience and I would proably not come again food was ok nothing special overall 4/10

Very nice decoration, fun setting. The burgers are good but the rest is not! Whether it was the fries, the drinks or the small snacks we didn't like it. It's very American fast food
