First visit and really enjoyed it. Excellent wine choices in the extensive Drinks menu - and all the meats and cheeses we tried were superb. Nice vibe too and good service. Already planning our next visit! Being by Snow Hill station in Birmingham makes a trip to Arch 13 super easy.

We had a fantastic evening out at Arch 13. The service was excellent- really friendly and knowledgeable staff, but also, someone kept managing to arrive at the table at the perfect moment when we needed something! The cheese, meats and bread we had were all delicious, plus the different wines and beers we had were lovely. We enjoyed the music and the ambience here too. We'll definitely be back- such a great venue with wonderful staff!

We had a really pleasant evening at Connolly's which seems to have nailed that feeling of being special but also relaxed. We were slightly anxious that the wine menu would be intimidating but it was actually just right. There is also an excellent selection of non alcohol drinks and the cocktails look fun. My wife tried the cheese selection and it was really good.

Very good value for cocktails. Okay, so not the best I’ve ever had but I really liked the atmosphere and the food options all sounded great. I will definitely come back here.

Headed to Arch 13 with my brother and sisters on a Saturday night. Found it to be really high quality and great value for money. Will certainly be heading back!

A great place and a lovely concept. A selection of lovely small plates and also cheese platters. We went for crumpet with raclette and onion jam, which was to die for. We then had a 7 item platter and chose five cheeses and two deli meats, which came with biscuits, grapes and onion jam. We also ordered the in house made pickles which were gorgeous, and some bread. All lovely. There is a cute instore wine shop (with a tiny beer selection too), as well as a bar. You can buy wine from the shop and pay corkage and drink it with your meal. We just ordered from the bar as we didn’t have wine with our meal. A lovely, fun experience and we will be back for raclette Tuesdays! Recommended.

Arch 13 was new to us, and we enjoyed it very much for our Friday lunch. As might be expected, it has an excellent wine list, including wines by the glass. The cocktails we had were great too. We had a meat board, and three side dishes with some pickles. It was delicious. Very good value for money, with excellent service.

First time we had been here. Merely googled it and saw reviews, based on my love of wine/cheese/meat. If you like the above, then I implore that you go here. Friendly, knowledgeable staff that leave you alone when you need them to, but are there when you want them. I wasn't expecting to try before I ordered, but yes... no problem at all , had little tastes of wines , to help me decide which wine I wanted, which was great. We had croquettes, a cheese crumpet, and a board with 3 different cheeses and meats. We then bought the same bottle of wine from the shop (10% discount as we'd dined there ). Will definitely return This is a place with a relatively small drinks/food list, so you know that what you do have is going to be good!

We arrived for the Raclette night and kicked off with their stupendous reserve Tattinger. This is such a cosy place for great chat. The team here are one of the best of any business in Birmingham. Super friendly, passionate and genuinely want to give you the best time. The Raclette was incredible and ridiculously generous. I know the Raclette season is over but their other offers are equally as good. They have the brilliant local brewery, Burning Soul on keg and probably the best wine offer in the City. The cheese and meat selection to eat in or take out is better than any deli I have ever been to. A big fan of Arch 13! Andy

Didn’t think I’d get a reservation as they’re always busy on weekends. We had perfect cheese and meat dish alongside very sharp wines- white and red. Always consider it a ‘mature’ atmosphere for wine lovers- and can always buy a bottle

We have been here twice and both times have been absolutely excellent! The meats and cheeses are excellent and ever changing. The wine list is also top notch but in addition to that you can also pick any wine from the merchants at the back and pay corkage, which is a brilliant option. The service is really good, very attentive without being overbearing. Also worth mentioning they are dog friendly so we will be working a way out to bring our dog. Arch13 is my favourite. It just is. Exceptional Wine, cocktails, cheese and relaxed ambience is my idea of heaven and Arch13 delivers every time. Birmingham is lucky to have it. Last night I took my husband for the first time - cheddar is about as adventurous as he gets and he was driving so had a Diet Coke - but he also LOVED it. Abi went out of her way to make sure he was looked after with some recommendations from the menu and was happy to adjust a few of the specs. My Cheese and charcuterie was delicious and I even got to steal a crispy, cheesy roast potato from the husband! I don’t drink cocktails - ever, I always find them poorly made and predictable but when I go to Arch13 I always start with one. The Islay hedgerow was a treat, a smoky, grown up delicious treat! Run don’t walk to Arch13 you won’t regret it!

We were so disappointed when we visited this bar last night. On our first visit the food wine and service was impeccable. So much so that we were excited to visit again on our date night. We came in at 22:05 and the man working greeted us with "it's last orders" within seconds of getting through the door. He somehow made this fantastic wine bar incredibly unwelcoming. After he quite rudely asked us to open the front door which we closed behind us and reminded us again that it was last orders, we left without sitting down. Clearly it was the intention of this staff member that he didn't want any customers in the wine bar, which is disappointing an hour before closing time. I'm very disappointed, and given how good previously it was I will try again, but we visited Fox and Chance bar where we were greeted and made to feel very welcome. The contrast between the staff members was huge.

Arch 13 remains the place to go for a nice catch up with friends over one or more glasses of wine. They always have superb atmosphere and the staff are always so lovely, helpful and knowledgeable.
