I recently moved to Scarborough from London and was missing Middle Eastern food when my husband and I discovered this gem of a restaurant! Such a lovely owner who let us try foods we haven’t tasted before. The food tastes fresh and delicious. This is our go to on a Saturday night :)

Dog Friendly and people friendly too. Great food, fresh coffee and homemade cakes to die for. Just off the main shopping street.

We had dinner here on the 20th September and really couldn't fault it. We had 3 courses, trying 6 of the dishes on the menu along with bread and butter and an amuse-bouche, and all were delicious. Many of the ingredients are locally sourced, this means that the menu is always evolving depending on what is in season and available at the time. The service was excellent. We can't wait to return and hopefully pair our next meal with an overnight stay.

We accidently discovered this cafe while hunting around Whitby for something more "homely". The staff were very accommodating for our party of 7. They ensured we got seated and looked after us all the step of the way. The food was plentiful, tasty, and very reasonably priced. There was a good selection that suited both adults and children. If you want to avoid the mass of marauding tourists and seaguls. Take a stroll up the hill to Stokers.
