Aquarius is a great local fish and chip shop. The food is always fresh and they serve a great range too. Their homemade tartar sauce is our favourite too!

Tasteless chips- do not taste as fresh nor tasty when compared to other chippies. That said, there are a great variety of other menu options like veggie spring roll (deep filled with lots of veg and a delicious creamy sauce inside) calamari, squid rings, pie, saveloy. Great options of grilled fish, fish and chip boxes/scampi boxes which are great value for money. Their tartar sauce is gourmet👌 top quality and is like no other! Best I have ever tasted! Friendly polite staff

Been going here since my childhood. Food is amazing. Staff are super polite. Never dined in, but it looks nice, even more so after their renovation. The cod is fantastic. Chip portions and taste are fantastic. The halal sausages are fantastic. The curry sauce is fantastic. The tartar sauce is fantastic.

I always get my lunch here and the staff are great. Maxine is especially kind and very quick.

This place has gone down so much the prices have gone through the roof and the portion sizes and quality has decreased dramatically £9.90 for a tiny piece of fish they call Jumbo. it’s unbelievable they charge £3.40 for a small amount of chips and 30% of the portion is dried up crumbs. When you charge the astronomical prices, at least give the customer what they pay for. The only good thing left is the Tartar sauce. If I could give this place a ZERO I would

£2.90 for a tiny cardboard tray of chips, they were just about warm, and too many little bits won't bother going there again.

I have been going to Aquarius for years and it never fails to disappoint! I highly recommend it. Really lovely food! I ordered through delivery and it was quick, the food was still hot and the portions are great. Really good value for money. Will continue to be my go to fish and chip shop.

Excellent fish n chips coming from another caterer. The service is wonderful, rations of chips lovely thin batter with great chunks of cod served with delightful tartar sauce. Packaging is sustainable. Perfect take away credit to management and owners. 👏🏼👏🏼

Aquarius never manages to disappoint! Despite being busy on Friday and Saturday evenings they still manage to pull off the best fish and chips. Yes there may be many customers ordering at the same time during the evening, they still manage to take care of orders swiftly. The 3-4 people working at the front are professional and can always crack a joke and have an engaging conversation with customers which can truly brighten their day/experience. The truly do value their customers and always provide reassurance to customers where needed, looking out for the people who have allergies or are new to the shop. Shout out to the owner for hiring amazing staff who know how to approach customers and work during busy hours. Highly recommend this place for people who enjoy a traditional fish and chips!

Ordered on the phone 20 minutes before I arrived. Waited until the shop was empty to get my order, people who walked in before me got theirs first. What is the point in calling on the phone prior if I still have to wait silly amounts of time to get my order? Really unimpressed.

Take out only after last year's refurb but for the better. They can concentrate solely on the quality of the takeaway service. I always go for a plaice or rock if I haven't been to a chippy for a while, just to check up on their quality. Not every chippy can pull off a good plaice. I always have oldskool traditional battered fish, although matzo is an option here. I am pleased to say that the plaice was fresh and done perfectly. Well drained and delightfully crispy even after the journey home. A little on the thin side but that's no fault of the shop. My order also had cod, and sausages, both with and without batter, plus moutains of double cooked chips, so a reasonably rounded order. The standard of all items was excellent. The good old fish and chips just isn't cheap anywhere anymore. However, at Aquarius you can be assured of a sustained high standard all round. An easy recommendation.

Very good quality fish and chips all-round. The fish (haddock) was a on the small side for their only size and shockingly defined as 'jumbo' but the batter was crisp, hot, and not soggy. The haddock had good flavour, as for the Rock which had a good size, with a crisp flat batter too. The consistency of external crispness and internal fluffiness on the chips was excellent - a regular portion can feed three people, well. Ordered through Deliveroo, the service was relatively quick and came earlier than service predicted. Highly recommend trying this fish and chip shop for anyone in Hillingdon/via delivery.

Not as good as it was pre covid, miss the home made coleslaw, the sides and the atmosphere of the queues down the shop/tables inside. However, it still does the best cooked fish in Hillingdon, unbeaten by anywhere else!

Best chips in England. Lovely staff. Not the cheapest but well worth it.

If thats a jumbo cod I’d hate to see how small a regular is, the jumbo cod must be a supermodel because its two inches across. I didn’t ask for your two incher did I? Fish over cooked, dry inside, tasteless. For £16.50 for a jumbo cod small chips and a chicken pie its not only badly cooked, its also well overpriced. Won’t be going back
