I went there for three times and the most satisfying experience I had when I met Lilly 🐈 and the people working there was so much kind and being so nice. From the doormen to the people working at the reception desk. First twice visits were not that successful to meet her 🫠 but finally I did this visit. I totally recommend this hotel 🏨 from all aspects location and service. My next trip will be definitely stay there.

I met with my friend in their lounge, the Withdrawing Room. Super nice welcoming service from door to table and beyond. I had an apricot green tea I have never tried before and enjoyed it very much. And also a delicious chocolate mousse. Exquisite room with elegant furnishings boosted our good mood. What's more, I had a chance to see a cat who lives there. 🙂. I am grateful to all the staff who talked to us, making us welcome and comfortable. Really, N1. P.S. This is not the first time I was at the Lanesborough. I had lunch in the Grill, afternoon tea for one of my birthdays, and my daughter's wedding there... And always it was special. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

A very beautiful afternoon spent with my Dad celebrating his 80th birthday! He got special treatment when he was presented with a handwritten card and a mini cake with a candle! My Dad was overjoyed that they went to that effort! All the staff were polite, professional and efficient. The food was amazing and the patisserie was professionally crafted! We loved it all! We’d chosen coffee to start with which was delicious, and then went to try the afternoon tea blend. I would definitely return again as the standard of service was high and the room had a fabulous atmosphere with music in the background!

Old dish (sandwiches were horrible: too much bread, somon didn't taste good, chicken was blend, no taste it was like something was missing), I was not able to choose the champagne I want, it was imposed and the one served was a disaster. 5 stars hotel and you put on table rusty forks?? Shame on you especially for the huge price paid! Deserts saved the afternoon. Tea was good, but first cup was more water because they didn't let it take the aromas.

I had the gluten free option with some special requests for the sandwich (items I do not like). They were able to accommodate me. I really enjoyed the food, the drinks, the tea and the atmosphere. The atmosphere is great, the staff is kind although pretty forgetful.. The issue is the food, it is bland and tasteless. In both the sweet and salty all we could taste was the butter. The only redemption was the salmon sandwiches, and when we asked for more of them they never came.

The venue was beautiful. The Bridgerton theme was fun and well depicted in the afternoon tea. Our table wasn’t ready at the time we had booked for. I was a little disappointed that there was no background music. I was expecting some Bridgerton themed music. There was a piano behind us but no one there playing it. We paid £220 for two so I’d have expected a bit more for the money. The staff were friendly and the service overall was good.

I visited the Lanesborough in October, 2024 for a Bridgerton themed Afternoon Tea. This was the highligh of my visit to London and I recomend it to anyone thinking about it. The food was out of this world. The scones were warm and delicious, the pass were super interesting, but what really surpriced me were the finger sandwiches. I did not think that they could be made to be so delicious and yet they were. Additionally, I ordered the Friends to Lovers cocktail, which is a twist on a margarita, and despite not being a huge fan of margaritas, I enjoyed it so much that I ordered a second one. Futhermore, the service was impeccable. The waiters managed to be super attentive, yet they were not overbearing/annoying. We also did not have to wait at all for anything as everything arrived super fast. Lastly, the restaurant itself was incredibly beautiful and exactly as it was on photos online. The experience does come with a large bill but it is definitely worth it. You do get what you pay for and it shows in the food and service. Unlike other places, it is not overpriced overhyped experience.

Probably the best afternoon tea I have had anywhere in London, and definitely the best scones, so light and not too large. It was my Aunts 95th Birthday and everyone was so attentive and polite, from the gentlemen who met us at the hotel entrance and all of the staff in the restaurant. I would definitely recommend the Lanesborough and hope to be back again soon.

This Tea was a disappointment. Having attended several teas in London, this experience fell short in all regards and was the most expensive. It felt like a factory. The two cocktails we ordered were half full in the glass, forgettable and served when we served fifteen minutes after our tea and food. The food was average and the replenishment of the sandwiches took over one hour and three requests to receive. The service was poor, very difficult to get more water with no one checking in to see if we needed anything. I went to Tea at the Lanesborough in 2020, which was a wonderful experience. In 2024, there are far better options.

For £85 Bridgeraton themed afternoon tea, I expected more bells & whistles. This afternoon tea is NOT worth it as a Bridgeraton fan. This hotel has an appearance of being classic and luxurious, though the service at this afternoon tea was quite the opposite. As a Bridgeraton lover and coming to this afternoon tea specifically, I was expecting more VIBES, more flowers, more girly, more FUN vibes - none of which was provided. This dining area is not specific to afternoon tea, there was normal lunch served as well to the tables around us. It was NOT the vibes to mix the smells of pastries and dressing up for tea - with chicken roast and beef wellingtons. The service was quite disappointing, rather I felt quite ignored during my tea session. There were 10+ servers yet they all looked busy doing nothing at all. We were seated at this tiny table that felt - literally like I was in a hallway blocking all these busy servers path. To which no one was servicing us, nor taking our order for way too long. The actual tea and treats were themed. That's really the only Bridgeraton thing. Was it good? Tasty sure. Super sweet... Scones were great. The variety of treats was disappointing. There are sandwiches, scones, and mouse like treats. Soft, glaced, super sweet, on a little biscuit. For £85 again.. simply would NOT recommendation, especially expected a lot of Bridgeraton love and vibes. Not like that all. Spend your money somewhere else.

Afternoon tea at the Lanesborough Hotel is a lovely experience, the ambiance and food are excellent, it's very relaxing and enjoyable, this was our 2nd visit and the only negative was the service, we were shown to our table and waited a considerable time for anyone to serve us and this was only after we asked for some water as it was hot and we were very thirsty, normally I think the service is very good and all the waiters were very nice, we also had to ask three times for a cup of coffee! The restaurant staff were very attentive, professional and friendly. My friend has a number of dietary requirements and they were very conscientious in speaking to her to understand and cater to them. The afternoon tea was beautifully presented. The cakes, scones and sandwiches were delicious. I particularly loved the lemon curd provided with the scones. We adored the Bridgerton theme of the cakes, they looked wonderful. Booked afternoon tea at the Lanesborough for three. It was one of the more expensive on offer but we chose it because of the historical story regarding the building having been the hospital I was born in. We were enthusiastically welcomed by the doorman and the receptionist which was lovely and quickly shown to our table. Our waiter arrived quickly with menus and returned 10 mins later to take our tea orders. We chose two standard Bridgerton afternoon teas and a vegetarian one. Cream and preserves were brought to the table first followed by pots of tea, and then cakes stands with sandwiches and pastries, plus scones wrapped in a napkin. The sandwiches were fine although the vegetarian options were very bland (possibly because they were vegan). We were asked if we would like more sandwiches, and tea. We accepted. However these did not arrive so after 20 minutes and no contact with our waiter, we started on the pastries. They were very tasty. We requested some English Breakfast tea, however Bridgerton tea, which is more floral, was provided. By now our scones were cold so we asked for warm ones which was accommodated. Not quite sure why they bring the scones out at the start! The serving staff were not attentive and the service level was low. Service charge of 15% on top of the £95 per person did not feel value for money.

We booked a vegan afternoon tea and found that the hotel was in a good location and easy to travel to via public transport. The decor and environment of the space was lovely and everything was clean. There was a good selection of teas and the service was satisfactory. However, the food was a disappointment. The sandwiches were pleasant but the scones were a bit dry and dense, also a few were quite hard. The desserts were the biggest disappointment because the consistency and texture were all too similar. Most of them were mousse with a biscuit base and the flavourings were too sweet. It would’ve been nice to have some classic cakes such as a Victoria sponge and more variety in textures so that it wasn’t all soft. Overall we do not feel like it was good value for money because we didn’t really enjoy the food.

We booked the Bridgeton afternoon tea for a special occasion and are fans of the Bridgeton tv series. The room where the tea was served was beautiful and the staff very attentive. Background music was playing but we were disappointed it was not “ Bridgeton themed “ and therefore lacked the atmosphere we hoped for. The written menu was well themed and written with an invite from Lady Whistledown. The food was good overall although we were unfortunate to have fruit scones with barely any fruit and jam that was so runny, it was like a sauce. The patisseries were beautifully made and very sweet as expected. All similar in textures. The teas and cocktail on offer were really pleasant. There were extras to pay on top of the initial £85 or £95 per head, mostly the service charges. I think that if you decide to do a theme then attention to all details makes a difference to the overall experience. Overall we had a very nice time and enjoyed the afternoon.

Disappointed it wasn't more Bridgerton themed! Apart from the menu and the decorated cake stands you would have thought it was a Bridgerton afternoon tea. No music to relate to the show, no mention of the characters when the cocktails were given. Two glasses came half full and not rectified. Quite disappointed for the money we paid

The afternoon tea was a very nice experience. Great Service and top quality of the tea and food.

Service was appalling, special occasion ruined. Would expect 5* silver service for £98 a head. Had better service in McDonald’s

From the start to the very last minute such an enjoyable experience at the Claridges. Went with a friend for afternoon tea and enjoyed every bit of it. We were served by two lovely gentlemen who were accommodating our every request and move. The food is great. One of us is a strict vegetarian so the team created a special sandwich plate. Decaf cappuccino was perfect! Mint tea, scones and pastries - all get 5 stars. We were allocated a beautiful spot next to the piano stand. Nice life music was a cherry on the top. Ready to book my next visit. Must try experience

Great venue for a private event particularly bar vibe, dimly lit, spacious for 70ish people, good bar and nice graphic addition with welcome screens and projector
