Amazing! Can’t believe I’ve not been before and I’ve lived here 6 years! Ate early October 24. Great service, fabulous food and a good atmosphere. By far the best food I’ve eaten here since I moved and looking forward to going back

Staff friendly. We went for the Sunday buffet. Food was excellent especially the Lamn curry. Starters are great chicken tikka really nice. Friendly and relaxing atmosphere. Will defo be back.

Really enjoy the food in here, great choice on the menu. Staff are friendly and helpful. Plenty of tables, quite a number of tables in and pleasant atmosphere. The Lamb Kadahi is a favourite and Naan bread was really fresh, tasty.

Lunch with my old man on father's day... we booked, just in case it was packed. We were welcomed 15 mins after opening time to a quiet, calm restaurant full of delicious food smells and well-presented, fresh-faced staff. I hadn't expected a buffet to be on, but every Sunday it's a regular feature apparently. We tucked in to hot, exceptionally tasty curries, popadoms, bhajis, chutneys and precisely cooked rice... twice! Our waiter was courteous and polite, perfectly attentive and despite the place becoming busy, we were neither hurried out the door nor ignored in the wake of the Sunday rush. I think we will return for the a la carte menu, as my pops wanted to try the king prawn dishes, which weren't offered at the buffet. Overall price was fantastic, decor was fresh and bright, and the whole vibe was legit happy and chill. Dhan’yavāda, lads! See you next time!!

Lunch menu that I had. 3 courses for £10.95, that was a supplement for lamb or prawn. Amazing value for the large portion size. Cannot recommend enough value for money here

We had a lovely family meal for my granddaughter's birthday, the staff were very pleasant and the food was great, a good price too. Would definitely recommend.

We were in Dunfermline last weekend to see a show at the theatre and chose Apricot for our pre theatre meal. The restaurant was quiet when we arrived but soon filled up. We were very well looked after by the super friendly staff and had a lovely meal including crispy papadums with dips, moreish momo's and juicy chicken pakoras. We then shared a fabulous South Indian Chilli Garlic Chicken curry with rice and a huge tasty garlic and coriander naan all washed down by a lovely chilled Chenin Blanc. This was our second visit to this lovely restaurant and definitely won't be our last.

Very welcoming, lovely atmosphere and great food- just what we wanted for lunch! We all ordered from the a la carte menu however there was also a very good lunch menu for £9.95. We visited on the suggestion of my husband’s work colleague and was a great new find! I had prawn cocktail, my son seekh kebab and my husband, Lamb Chhoila. We were happy with the starters which were served in bowls however they might want to rethink the sauce decoration around the edge of the bowls which made it difficult to eat without worrying you were going to get covered! I had Chicken Korma, my husband Chicken Jalfrezi with pilau rice and the most tastiest and lightest naan bread we have ever eaten! My son had the Tandoori platter (requested with no prawns) he had the biggest griddle plate of hot sizzling food brought out to him. Just right for our 16yr old! Will we visit again? Absolutely! Will probably try their Sunday buffet next. If you want authentic tasting Indian food with exceptional and attentive service, Apricot is the place to go to!

First visit as our usual Indian go to is closed and we weren't sure what to expect but I have to say we were not disappointed. We went as 2 couples for a birthday celebration. Food was delicious and decent portion size Staff were friendly and had good banter making us feel very at home and welcome. Drinks - good choice. The restaurant is huge inside though you wouldn't know from the outside, but the seating area is quite vast. The only negative is it is very dated in decor but it didn't affect the food and we had a really lovely time. Would go back

After a recommendation we’ve ordered a takeout and genuinely we’re excited by everything as we unpacked it. We started to eat and were enjoying the flavours, but I noticed something in on of my onion bhajis, we opened it up further to discover a full plaster! I immediately emailed the restaurant and sent photos so they could see what I’d found. They called straight back which i really appreciated, they apologised which is great, and then they offered me 10% of my next order and a complimentary item, I explained that we won’t be ordering with them again, so that doesn’t really compensate us in the slightest. I understand mistakes happen, but that’s a serious health risk! When I said we obviously wouldn’t be ordering again they had no other option for me and hung up. So we’re left with a £40 order which is both a waste of money and a waste of food. We’re furious, but mainly just disappointed that they didn’t understand the risks of the situation.

Had a superb meal in the restaurant as a group of 7. Food excellent - quality, portion sizes, presentation and value. Wait times for food were insignificant. Soft drink sizes extremely generous. Good selection of drinks, including non-alcoholic beer. Stand out for me was the service. Staff were so friendly. Courteous, welcoming and helpful, attentive without being annoyingly present. EVERY effort was made on their part to make our visit pleasant, including checking in with spice levels of the kids meals. I thought I left my phone in the restaurant after we left and phoned them to look for it. They called again after about half an hour to check if we had found it at home (I had 🙈). 10/10, highly recommend and best service I've experienced in years.

Absolutely fantastic food and service. Even with a table of 20 being in at the same time, all staff were totally attentive. Would definitely recommend the Nepalis options.

Total spent ~£39. Ordered a salad and yogurt for a start. Was good. Starters Lamb Choile was good. Mains ordered Chicken Karachi, Black mixed dal, Naan and Chapatti. I was eating and then suddenly realised that the Dal is Sour. Ice cream with Gulab. Jamum as desert.Called the waiter and manager and informed them about Dal being sour but they didn't pay enough attention to my complaint. Ia sked them to find from cook if used any sour ingredients in Dal but they never bothered to check and come back to me. Next day I was not feeling very well and had upset stomach most probably they served stale Dal which was spoiled. Will never go to this restaurant again.

First time visiting this restaurant must say when walking in was strange but could hear the place was busy was taken to a table as did not have reservation was sat down felt very welcomed staff was wonderful the manger gave great recommendations the food was outstanding my new place better then khushis for sure as we was regularly visiting them found my new spot we all enjoyed a lovely evening thanks Apricot

So disappointed tonight. This used to be our favourite Indian restaurant but the last twice has been extremely disappointing. Dishes are not the same standard. Restaurant is quiet. Liqueur coffees were awful. We fave them a second chance thinking one bad meal was a one off but second visit was disappointing too. Won't be back.

Had a lovely lunch here today. Really tasty starters, Large and really rich main courses (not your usual basic lunchtime curry) and amazing melt in the mouth nan bread. All in a really nice setting at an amazingly cheap price. What's not to like.

We received the Apricot Restaurant Home Delivery / Takeaway flyer this week and when I tried calling on each of the two phone numbers provided I was cut off after two minutes waiting. The website does not offer an online ordering service so it begs the question as to why Apricot bothers advertising its services if nobody is prepared to answer the phone! They have just lost a potentially valuable new customer.

Not been for a while but overall they have the best curries in town. Simple yet so tasty and exactly my taste. Cant fault it at all. Need another curry fix soon

Came here with my Family for the first time on Saturday after hearing so much about this restaurant honestly it was amazing food was great the young waiters providing excellent service but I must say the older two men where just lazy and walking around talking I hope the staff are paid well as I feel for the young waiters taking so much burden upon there shoulders well done keep up the great work and for those lazy old workers one being the manager move your back side and get some work done instead of talking

Its a long time since we were last in Apricot, and at the last time, I didnt write the bet review, but to be balanced, I now write this review to say that the service and the food this time were excellent, and I look forward to going back again.

I came here with a friend who was visiting the area in a hope to show off one of the many great restaurants we have in Dunfermline and thankfully we were not disappointed!

Buffet meal served here on a Sunday night is exceptional good value with a large selection of dishes offered. Served by friendly and attentive staff, Friends commented that it was one of the best currys they had recently.

First time here last night as usually go to another local India Restaurant but will be making Apricot our 'go to' one from now on. There were six of us & every one said the food was exceptonal. Service was good with friendly waiters & the place was spotless.

We had Christmas dinner here after much debating over an Indian Restaurant for Christmas Day dinner, it surpassed all our fears, it was absolutely excellent with very generous portions and wonderful kids dishes. Would definitely recommend.

I love this restaurant! The service is very friendly and attentive, the food is absoloutely delicious, my favourites are definitely the Tandoori Chicken and Chicken Madras curry. Really nice place for family and friends.

Been here multiple times with the other half and we both agree that it’s hands down the best indian food we’ve ever tasted. Staff are very friendly. Large selection of different choices (especially rice) but I usually always end up going for the chicken korma because it’s just so good.

We frequent this restaurant regularly and have never been disappointed by the quality of the food and the friendliness of the staff, we had our Christmas dinner here and we will be defiantly be there for our Christmas dinner this year .

Ate here whilst staying overnight in Dunfirmline. The entrance area is a bit strange as the dining area is upstairs at the rear of the premises but from there on , everything was fantastic. It can be a bit hit and miss going to a restaurant you've not been to before. No need to be concerned about Apricot. First appearances count: the restaurant is nicely decorated and clean. Service was attentive but not overly so. Food was very good. Well seasoned and flavoursome but not overly hot. We all enjoyed our respective meals which included lamb, chicken and prawns. The lamb biryani was especially good.
