Called in for some pastries and savouries as Id been in before fornsimilar items. Dauggter was staying tonight, so she wanted some goodies. Fab service from Laura who welcomed me with a lovely smile. Items packaged quickly. Will definitley be returning. Thank you

Yorkshire pudding was as tough as an old boot, however the roast beef was superb,melted in your mouth, overall a good meal let down by unedible Yorkshire.

What a stunning place! The team here are absolutely wonderful, a warm welcoming as soon as you enter. Every staff member more than happy to help. Went for a carvery, and was advised that we would be told when it was our time to go up to the carvery.. 30 mins later, still waiting, and had to ask, where it was then obvious we were forgotten about. I totally get the paper free cash free set up, but it needs more service attention.

The staff are always very warm, welcoming and ready to help, they really can’t do enough for you. The food is great value for money especially the breakfast. The restaurant is always clean and tidy.

Came a few Years back and wouldn't rate it. Came today Brilliant entertainment for the kids. And the food was amazing especially the steak. Kids really enjoyed themselves too. All in all would highly recommend, well worth 5 stars

Lovely service especially Dan had chat about holidays very polite and friendly the food was fantastic we had carvery chocolate cake and office crunch ice cream. The pub also looks fantastic

Sorry we've been 5 times 1st when it opened and it was great2nd we had a beef wrap spot on last 3 times were shocking one food was cold 2nd food was under cooked and cold tonight Yorkshire puddings we played bowls with them the beef was full of rat and chewy got told it was the wrong beef well don't sell it then we have given you 3 chances to get it right you can't we won't be back it's a shame because the potential is there just not being used green king sort it out

The fresh bright refurb is fantastic 👌... friendly staff and excellent food.. I recommend the the Yorkshire pudding wraps 😋 and the great breakfasts. Love the fact the hot and cold drinks are refillable. Will definitely be returning.

Absolutely amazing value for money. Went for the weekday set menu; 3 courses for £10.49 (garlic breaded mushrooms, carvery and chocolate brownie dessert). Considering these are for smaller appetites I was absolutely stuffed. Staff were attentive and friendly; especially Mark on the carvery. Really enjoyable visit.

Food was very average. Went cold very quickly. Toast section terribly slow. Items on the website not present in the restaurant.

Friendly staff from entering the establishment - carvery was lovely hunters chicken burger was alright chips were rather stale and chicken was more batter than actual chicken. Returning customers and would return again.

The food was made fresh and came to table fast aswell , the burger may I say "was better than a 5 guys burgers " and the staff are so lovely and so helpful thanks guys from liam and stevie 😀

It was so lively this early Sunday evening (5pm) that we are so glad to have booked a table. Carvery had queues of about 15 mins or so, but it was well organised, and the customers could wait at their table until they are called for. Food was value for money - inexpensive yet still tasty. We'll go back again.

Restaurant spacious, clean and sharp. Had carvery, reasonably priced & food was better than average elsewhere. All staff were pleasant, helpful and great, in particular, Dawn who served us.

Our server was dawn who was amazing and very welcoming, will be coming again. Highly recommend

Farmhouse kitchen Astley...Came in here with my wife Sunday afternoon for a carvery for the first time and the food and staff was amazing very tasty and very polite staff even though it was busy still had time for you. Since Sunday we have been back for breakfast on the Monday and Tuesday and I cant fault it will definitely be our regular place for food and will highly recommend to anyone.

They served my child raw pork sausages and made him ill!!! Please check the children’s meal sausages!!! Unfortunately I only noticed after my child had eaten the majority of the portion!!! I tried the sausage myself (which I had to spit out) and it was certainly raw/undercooked in the middle, yet the response to my complaint was that the food had been temperature checked!!!

Didn't like my meal pie ok mash was instant mash carvery looked ok

My grandaughter dropped her plate at the carvery the staff were very helpful and didn't create a fuss just replaced her plate with a cooler one asked to start again was impressed with all the staff .

Experienced head of house to meet and greet you. Head waitress in our zone was really good. Super attentive bar staff. Nothing was too much trouble. Only negative; 7pm and no pork left for the carvery and no alternative option? Otherwise, it was a great experience and definitely worth a visit.....

A warm welcome by everyone. The food was tasty and cooked well. The only downside I would say is you get allocated a table instead of choosing your own. I would have preferred a quieter area of the restaurant. I didn’t say anything because it wasn’t such a big deal. Laura was especially friendly.
