The camp guy with light blonde hair behind the till was very dry and not friendly at all. No thank you or hello, smile.... nothing. The toilets were in a terrible state. Not clean, broken tap and broken toilet flush button. Shocking. Good product range as you would expect from applegreen.

Spot on clean and tidy and everything you need.

My mum and I were on our way back from Dundalk and my mum was hungry and we stopped off at had chopstix. Mum has a very small appetite. We were served by Shan. Wow what an incredible man. He was so incredibly kind thoughtful and patient with my mum. I can’t express how amazing he was. In all my life I’ve NEVER met anyone like him. He actually out of his own pocket ( I saw him using his own bank card) bought my mother her meal. I said no many times and was giving him the money but wouldn’t take it and said he would want someone to do it for his mum. It actually brought me to tears and will never forget what he did. He will be rewarded ten fold. Chopstix should give this man a massive reward and bonus because he really is an amazing person to do this. Thank you from the bottom of my heart Shan I’ll never forget what you did. 😭❤️ thank you

Stood for 10 minutes for a coffee at the subway unit. One girl serving whilt two other staff stood at chatted then went out the back. When the girl finished her customer i was told they dont do tea and coffee. Please put sighs up stating this please

Seats are stinking not a nice place to sit if wearing light clothing .and food on floors

In for some fuel and food at end of day. The fast food selection is great and the seating area is open and clean. Staff on the counter and at food area are very friendly and helpful. Good selection of food items at the fuel counter also.

The coffee station, food store and takeout options are awesome. If you're stopping for gas and do not need a long break. However, when we went the ladies toilets were unavailable and the only other toilet available was the disabled/baby change room, which did not flush and had not been flushed for at least 10 people prior to us going in. There is a very small kids play area, but it's outside ( so pretty cold in winter).

Airport-like atmosphere for a highway pit stop. Very nice.

Great Service Stop off the motorway, close to the City. Lots of Food choices, convenience store, petrol, parking and restroom facilities.

So this is really about lavazza I drink coffee, regular white coffee Tbh quite a lot of coffe 6/7+ per day From Lidl instant, McDonald's, Spar French press, drip filter expresso machine at home And of course S D Bell's Have been trying to get into a lavazza store for a while now as I do really like their coffee (at home) Omg Service quick and efficient without the Starbucks flaff Coffee as expected,, perfect Asked for my usual regular white coffee and the lady understood what I wanted!!! AND IT TASTED LIKE COFFEE SHOULD Take a hint StarHortons it's not that complicated Coffee is a hot caffeinated drink Not a sundae ordered In Italian Big ups to lavazza for making ordering a great coffee simple

Great stop for fuel, snacks, takeaway or sit in food, or if you just need the rest room. Well located close to city, and great that the two stations are available either side weather heading in out out of city.

The slowest place I have ever eaten

Good points: the fast foods on offer were fine, staff at the counters were friendly. The eating areas were clean & tidy. One of our party has a disability and visited the disabled toilet. It was open and it was clean. However transfer to the toilet was impossible due to the toilet seat being barely attached to the bowl. Interestingly the toilet check sheet was initialed suggesting it was cleaned & checked. This is poor governance especially for those who have transfer difficulties.

Purchased a tuna & onion sandwich from The Bakewell over the weekend. It was warm, with hard bread and the contents were rancid. The mayonnaise was off date due to the heat - they were not stored properly and don't think the fridge at the counter they were sitting in was even turned on. If I wasn't already on the road again before consuming I would have been straight in to speak with the staff about this. Health and safety issue, especially with being pregnant. Never bit into something so disgusting ever. No way to contact The Bakewell directly about this that i could fine. Awful.Avoid!!

Had a basic sandwich from The Bakewell, chicken and bacon. Pitiful, the back half of the sandwich was just bread. No filling at all.

Accused me of stealing even though I payed for it.

I bought a cake from the shop and got home to realise it was 4 days out of date, not very happy! Products on shelves should be checked daily to ensure they're in date!! Absolutely ridiculous!

Poor cell reception and WiFi, so it’s a good place to stop for a while, but not for work on your way

Friendly staff and good range of food and services. Tables were a bit dirty and toilets (female) were also a bit messy with toilet paper missing from some stalls. Baby changing facilities which is good

Nice and friendly staff in the shop but the card readers are the worst,they are very slow and glitched out whist I was paiding for my items and the staff said it happens all the time, probably won't be changed till they break

I asked to see the shop manager. They brought me into a corridor, then went to find him. It's been half an hour and they still aren't back. How do I get back to the shop? I'm getting scared.

I've heard that the staff grow drugs in Burger King and mix it in with the food from Chopsticks. I gave some to my pet pig, Little Oinkers. He has not been well since, and I think he caught something from the workers, maybe autism or something. He also barks now, which shouldn't happen as he is a pig. I have to say I will not be back unless they fix my poor Oinkers.

Inside the building is kept clean but the truck fuel section is a disgrace and a fire hazard with in unemptied bins, bags of rubbish that smell bad, the dirt of the area is wild, also bad potholes are also a hazard.

Chap with long unkempt hair and beard was disrespectful in the handling of my purchases, was rather rude And unpleasant in both demeanour and attitude.

Subway staff member Jamie serving and making the sandwiches. We watched on as she incorrectly made people’s orders after being corrected. Once it came to us, I ordered a sandwich and my partner ordered a wrap, she continued to sigh and huff around and once my partner asked for it to be toasted she started banging items around. And to top it all off the wrap was done incorrectly and underfilled Totally unacceptable behaviour! Will not be back.

Applegreen stops are now almost everywhere and you will find one on whatever motorway you travel. We stopped here while travelling towards Belfast from Omagh and refreshed ourselves with a coffee from Lavazza before completing the journey home. All Applegreens are set out the same inside so you know in advance what you can get.

Maybe employing shop staff who barely speak English is a bad idea. Tried several times to make one of the staff understand what I was saying. Young manager had to help. Have you got something against hiring locals?

They keep the monkeys in cages out the back. Sometimes I hear them screaming. They make them drink petrol. I don't think it's right.

When i walked in this place i thought i walked into Ohio the place was in the short term "F***ed" all the staff were rude and the place smelled and looked like a palace of stensh.

Very slow. Not enough staff. The staff looked depressed and uninterested. Quite expensive. Good view of the motorway from upstairs. Toilets were flooded.

Called yesterday at Applegreen, Lusk, en route to south Dublin. Great to get a break and have a quick smack. Deliberated over which place to eat we decided on Bakewell. Ordered a chicken salad roll which was well advertised , a cagun panini, two cartons of fries.. The fries were cold having been sitting in the carton on display for some time. Complained and had them replaced 10 minutes later. Bland service from two staff who was personality minus. No apology whatsoever. Would never use Bakewell again.

Visited Applegreen recently. Long line in the shop and only one worker at the register. Shop not stocked out very well.

stopped of here to get lunch at greggs.should of drove on by.called in to get hot saug rolls .two guys on to busy talking.nothing in the ovens.it was lunch time.asked for two saug rolls had none,asked steak bake had none only thing there was two...

Time 2pm the height of lunch time, Ordered x3 sausage and chips, chips where cold, sausages were nice but only look warm! Disappointing again!

Nice variety of places to eat if you are stopping off on your way to somewhere else. Facilities in general are good and the fuel prices were reasonable given the current price increases + inflation.

This is the perfect stop during the drive. All the necessary shops, eateries and restrooms are available. Very clean and tidy place.

A one star? Why?? Well it si simple. You have a Greggs and you do not sell Scotch Pies. Absolute scandal of the highest order. The people of NI deserve the delectable goodness.

Good shop with a large selection of food places. The coffee upstairs in Lavazza is very good and really reasonably priced for a coffee shop.It has a nice calm atmosphere with plenty of room between the table and chairs. Downstairs are the fast food places anything from a burger at Burger King to a sausage roll in Greggs. Large well maintained and clean toilets and again downstairs roomy seating areas. Outside there is an enclosed play area for children.

Standard motorway services as you would expect from applegreen, slightly more expensive than a back road garage but convenient with friendly staff

Not great tables where a mess no one to clean them toilets where a mess no toilet rolls in any of them floor a mess chopstix was lovely Burger King was awful staff where not nice food was warm / cold won't be back for sure

Good place to stretch your legs after the ferry.

Outside shower for lorry drivers water is stone cold place isn't even cleaned when questioned about the water not being warm to use the shower they just say we can't do anything about that basically not caring about lorry drivers and there hygiene as the lagan river would be cleaner and warmer

Called in for a burgerking, opening times say 9am. I arrived at 11 an was told it wasn't open. Last week the drive through wasn't open after waitin 15mins in total to be told it was open. 1 star. Went to subway an a Filipino guy Ryan ( i think, i didnt quite hear him say his name) served me. Great customer service 👏 wee man saved the day with a cracking sub. 5 stars.

Pleasant area to stop. Good range of food and reasonably priced. Staff were helpful and courteous. All areas were clean and all Staff wore masks. Worth a visit to chill out or meet friends for a chat.

Called in to Greggs for a sausage roll, been a while and I wasn’t disappointed the staff were lovely and very helpful and the sausage roll just how I remembered them

Was 10 mins late due to being stuck in traffic raced all the way there from portadown while trying to call NUMEROUS TIMES racing down the motorway. Finally got a call back after leaving a message and was told it was ok if I could make it in 10 mins which I would have. They called back afterwards to tell me the orthodontist all of a sudden felt ill. Shocking. I can not believe people have to travel so far to see an orthodontist in this day and age! I am beyond furious. One star for the pathetic excuse.

Fantastic pitstop to refuel your car or lorry, park up, have a shower, have a hot meal or relaxing coffee with food sit in or carry out as well as shops and watch the motorway traffic go by without driving into the city.

It is a good stop for halfway to Belfast from Dublin. There are different options to grab a bite. However, the washroom facilities were not clean and overcrowded.

Used toilet facilities. Have also eaten at Chopstix in the complex. Tourist information also in building. Plenty of car parking spaces, including for the disabled.

No gluten free hot food offered. Coffee at the hot food counter was pretty bad, their machine definitely needs adjusted. Lavazza always seems to be shut

Quite busy. Went to subway and had an Italian classic. Very nice. Staff pleasant. Work area clean as was seated area.

Applegreen is a motorway service station and has multiple businesses inside. We stopped to get some food and had a meat slice from Greggs.
