Bob and Berts in Lisburn

Been to Bob and Berts many of times always have a great experience, food is very good big variety and I love a latte they do it to perfection always makes me want to go back definitely recommend here for your next coffee shop.

Amazing food again and great coffee

Stay well clear from getting a delivery from this place. Sausages and bacon crimated. Bread soaking in oil. Ordered the fry. Even the free coffee was cold. Only thing that was nice was the beans.

coffee cold. bacon and sausages burnt and couldn't be eaten . pancake was soaked in oil and soggy. Definitely wouldn't recommend this place.

Awful delivery driver laughed in my face and was rude stood there tapping his foot while I looked for the delivery!

Food was ok, overall wasn't very clean... fella who served us was lovely

was missing 2 drinks, asked at bob and berts, they said the drinks were sent. so driver stole them.

Incredible disappointment was two and a half hours late from when we ordere. When we recieved the order food was cold as well as missing elements of the dish. Extremely disappointed at this and thought we would give them the benefit of the doubt that the food would be hot despite the two and half hour delay on our food.

Who would think simple food could taste so good!

food is absolutely cold. I don't know how anyone is expected to eat cold fries, they're stuck in my throat.

Delivery driver turned up at 14.30 (order accepted at 12.50 either approximate time of 20-30 minutes). He handed me a hot chocolate and a bag which contained loaded fries. I informed him that he had the wrong items, and he insisted that I look in the bag. I told him him I know it's wrong, I can read what it says on the receipt and I didn't ordera hot drink. he said its not his problem and then showed me his empty insulated food carrying bag. I then said well yes, it is your problem.

Took over three hours for delivery and the food was stone cold. Disgrace.

My wife and I bought 2xBreakfast brioche - £5.95 each. I think that’s probably fair. The coffee is over priced - £3.50 for medium americano, £3.75 for medium latte. Then add £5 for for hasbrowns (ridiculous!). The brioche breakfasts weren’t anything to write home about. Everything tasted fair but at nearly £25 I looked at what my money had bought me and felt ripped off. In my view it’s the coffees and hasbrowns that are the problem here. If I want to spend £25 on breakfast, I shall be going somewhere where I feel this price range is worth it. I think Bob and Bert’s are pitching themselves at a level that is above where they’re at. It’s just a cafe, not a restaurant. Sorry but won’t be back.

can't follow dietary requests

Delivery time delay related entirely to no driver being assigned for over an hour by just eat. The driver which took this delivered it promptly.

Delivery driver brought the wrong items. Give our order to someone else. We didn’t receive our order. Shop told me just to request a refund on just eat.

Never had a Bob and Bert’s before. Fancied a coffee so thought I would try one. Left waiting for a couple of minutes whilst 3 members of staff faffed. Coffee was scolding hot, bitter and weak. Shop was grubby, counter was dirty. At least I know to avoid in future. Grim.

As a regular customer as was really disappointed with my order. Half of it was completely wrong and the breakfast burritos are have the size now for the nearly ten pound each. Disappointing.

Didn't get a meal, music blaring at full volume which was intolerable so walked out and went elsewhere. Very disappointed as food good in past.

*UPDATE* Went back after a few years and the game has been stepped up big time, staff were great and were more than happy to help while checking for allergens etc vegan and gluten free options are a lot better than they were prior, thumbs up :)

Popped in for a quick burger and chips for lunch, staff were talkative and friendly and the meal was very nice! Lovely brioche bap with fresh crunchy lettuce.

If I had the option to give no star I would, ordered Nutella waffles and breakfast wrap, the worst ever, unclean tables, rubbish lying around floors,staff not professional at all, screaming across people they know and singing loudly for songs played at the store, disgusting place, felt disgusted going in, never ever will I be going in. I went in with my son for a quiet nice food treat. Rubbish place, stay away please, if you don’t want to get sick

Lots of choice but housekeeping was poor. Staff very friendly. Table at the window was ingrained with dirt and sticky to the touch. Floor could do with a proper deep clean not just a mop. This was a dry day and an early morning visit so it wasn't down to wet footprints or being overly busy.

Early delivery and amazing food,

Edit June 2024: ok. Went back some months later and it’s now much better. The food, hygiene and service have all picked up. Previously: Terrible. Got a coffee with 4 shots and it was like water as the staff aren’t experienced. The place is dirty with litter etc past 3 times I’ve been in. We have been coming here for 4 years and it’s gone downhill terribly in the last 3-6 months.

Decided to call here for some breakfast. I love eggs benidict, so because I had not had it for a while I ordered one. Very disappointing and one of the worst I have had. Eggs where overcooked and not runny. Bacon was about 70% fat. Only thing I enjoyed was the iced coffee.

Amazing food! Full soda has saved my life several times

Fab breakfast (Bob's Famous Fry) at a great price. Available all day and on Sunday. Perfect for anyone staying at the lovely Haslem Hotel just a short walk away. Be warned though - there's a wicked selection of cakes as well as great coffee.

Went to get a breakfast to set us up for the day. Food was great. Offered substitutes for the items not liked on the fry up. It was a large portion. Really tasty I even ate both sausages which is v rare for me. Music not obtrusive and good for picking the mood up

Vegan option was awful, sausage and beans with a slice of hard cold toast was well below par, I wouldn't recommend going here for fellow vegans. Only positive were the staff, nice and friendly.

The chips on my daughter kids meal were very under cooked they had to be thrown in the bin however the hotdog it's self was fine .

Great lunch, £80 for 5 people with drinks is good, food was pretty good and portion size medium to large. Kids love it as the deserts are epic.

Very expensive for what you get and no longer dog friendly, which is disappointing to lose another dog friendly establishment in Lisburn.

The food arrived cold and I didn’t really enjoy it. Won’t be ordering from Bob and Bert’s again since they can’t keep the food warm when delivering it.

food arrive right on time and overall it was very enjoyable however I was a bit disappointed, I ordered the ceaser salad but there was very little ceaser dressing. I also requested onion on my husbands hot dog but this didn't happen. I've ordered the ceaser salad before from Bob and burts a few times and it always came with two pieces of garlic bead, this time however there was no garlic beard but croutons instead, which doesn't feel like good value for money

Food is brilliant, good portion sizes and love an all-day breakfast! Best chai latte with oat milk I've ever had HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Servers friendly enough and always get the order right, could put a bit more effort into cleaning as cutlery is always dirty and tables rarely wiped. Atmosphere is welcoming and definitely good vibes all around. Would recommend as a good brunch spot for everyone!

Disgusting, If you are planning on getting an too good to go magic bag from Bob and berts then DONT!!! I got one and it was just 4 cakes in for £4.50. Disgusting and waste of money. They false advertise as it says on their profile on the app - Paninis, cakes, salads, tray bakes and pastries. I didn't see any of that in that bag. Don't bother getting one. I won't be going back at all.

Paid 1.25 for 1 slice of cheap cheese 🤦‍♀️ I did request grated cheese as well.

Busy cafe ,slow service food was ok but not outstanding

Was in today for lunch. Asked for a cloth to wipe the table as they were all dirty and was told that they were understaffed like I was just suppose to sit and eat at a dirty table.. even though there was 4 women at the till talking nonsense, whilst the 2 guy waiters tried to hold the place together. If there was suppose to be a supervisor in there today, they need the sack as that's the worst I've ever seen a place run. Food was good, A bit small portions and expensive but tasty.

Food is a disgrace, serving stale buns and brioche rolls. Bacon was 90 percent pure fat, if your going to serve poor quality bacon at least cook it crispy. Buns were completely stale god knows how many days been sitting there, someone obviously does not care. Stay well away. Gone down hill.

My fault forgot that I was staying with my boyfriend and have the wrong address

I have been working in Lisburn a couple of days a week for the past couple of months and stumbled across Bob and Bert’s. I had heard the name before, but had never been. It turned into my regular lunch spot. The staff was always nice and upbeat. The serving sizes were always good and the food tasted great. I look forward to going back there again at some point, even if I am no longer working in the area.

Bobs and Berts would be one of the best franchises that serves delicious food, has a variety of options as well as a great value for money! This will definitely be a regular place for me.

Great tea and cake. It's exactly the same as every other branch of theirs. Bit pricey but the staff are great and I enjoyed it. Recommended.

Called in with the father in law for a tea and a sausage bap. Food came out hot and it was lovely for what it was.

Coffee and breakfast was and always is amazing and hot. Delivery time was extremely fast and and driver very friendly and pleasant. 10/10 always satisfied and never any issues or mistakes with order.

Dropped my car in to Lisburn for a service and while it was being sorted I took a walk into the town with my dog. Was looking for a cafe with some outside shelter as it was raining and while standing at the door trying to get the employees attention I noticed it was dog friendly. Went in and the staff couldn't have been friendlier and coffee was spot on. Many thanks, Rambo and I will be back.

I went for breakfast after 9am. So early... Bob & Barts are open from 8am. So it should be clean. Practically the tables on the ground floor were dirty dishes, the stairs...looked like they hadn't been washed in days. The lady behind the counter... I think the nails are way too long for this job. Food delicious as always

Appalling lunch! The sweet chilli panini was a warm roll! It was to have contained cheese chicken and sweet chilli sauce. We asked for peppers to be added and a side order of half and half salad and crisps. Not only was the panini a bread roll but there was no cheese and very little of the other ingredients. As for the crisps...they had metamorphosed into a serving of coleslaw which was like half a jar of Hellmanns mayo with the odd bit of cabbage and carrot thrown in! The salad consisted of a small serving of chopped cucumber and tomato with no dressing. At least our tea actually was tea! Absolutely appalling!

Visited B&B in Lisburn. I always liked them in Belfast. But Lisburn is nice too. Place is good. Service is fast. And tables are cleaned and staff is responsive quite well. Food is nice . As always.

The Coffee was spilled, the food was cold and the egg had bust and the yoke dripped all over the bap and box making it unappealing and unable to lift and eat

Food was lovely as always but the packaging wasn’t great, we got the spud stacks and they were in a cardboard box like a burger box, the food was sticking out of the sides of the box so it wasn’t really big enough, the box had went really soggy leaked through to the paper bag and that had ripped completely then at the bottom, delivery driver did let us know so we were careful, maybe something to make a note of?

On a recent visit to Bob and Bert’s, Lisburn I found the following - Staff not listening to customers orders, Floor dirty, cutlery stained. All in all Bob and Bert’s Lisburn is a very un hygienic place to eat. I’ve been in several Bob and Bert’s over the years and they are 100% good and helpful. A lady accompanying us ordered toast and when it arrived we thought it had fell into the fire. I’ll not be back in Bob and Bert’s, Lisburn again.

Foors full of crumbs glass banister on stair way really dirty upstairs tables far to close together nearly fell on the step up to the table which is dangerous when carrying hot drinks food over priced and poor quality definitely would not recommend worst cafe I have been in for while.

Quality has gone down. Our food was cold, Bob’s filled Soda did not have Sweet Chili Sauce. Delivering food is tough, but quality should not go down Must admit, during CoVid, Bobs was on point. Not convinced to order their again.

So disappointing. Food was 15 minutes late and it was freezing. Had to put my fry in the microwave and toast the bread in the toaster. Sausages gone all hard and rotten. Also forgot the drink for the child which is annoying. Really need to up the standards, this was shocking.

Went in with my wife and a wee pup age 12 weeks wee girls who were working were smiling at the pup were my wife was sitting. Then after 10min the same wee girl said the manager said you have to leave and drink your coffee outside. No dogs was mad went up and asked for the manager the woman comes out the manager with glasses and was very rude and nasty about it I told her the wee pup was sitting on my wife knee and was sleeping not doing any harm. It was a pup not a big dog going mad she again very rude told her I will make a complaint she just laughed at me and when I was leaving she started singing bye bye love you very rude person and how she got manager I will never know .never will I go back there again went to cafe nero .avoid this place staff and manager definitely the manager very rude and unprofessional

Im a regular customer but this time it was an Absolute disgrace ordered chicken goujon wrap paid 14.70 for the whole thing after waiting ages on my order to come it arrived and was disgusting it was stone cold, i ordered bacon and cheese it came with bacon in one wrap and not in the other and and no cheese and no sauce i also asked for no salad and it came covered in salad i want my money back
