Antep Kitchen in Milton Keynes

Back after a few months, food is amazing and service superb. Just don’t fill up on the bread.

Absolutely love the food here! It is sooooo tasty. The venue is lovely and the staff are so friendly, it's just a great place to dine. The atmosphere is so relaxed, never feel like we're being rushed out of the door.

After ordering through Deliveroo and the driver mucking up the collection and delivery I called the restaurant and spoke to Jay. He was so helpful, talked me through getting a refund from Deliveroo, took my order again, and fast tracked it. When the Antep driver left the restaurant Jay called to let me know and check I’d got my refund. When the food arrived it was delicious, and there was even a complimentary rice pudding in the mix. I’ll definitely order from Antep Kitchen again, but always direct rather than through Deliveroo. Thank you Jay for rescuing our dinner.

Visited last night with a friend. It was my first time but defintielly not the last. Great food and plenty of it, fantastic service, you dont feel rushed, lovely relaxing atmosphere. Must say, one of the best Turkish restaurants in Milton Keynes. Highly recommend.

During Covid, my family had a few take aways from here but we had never visited. Tonight, for my husbands birthday we did. From the minute we walked in, the staff could not do enough for us even though it was a full house. The food was amazing. We had the bread & dips (yummy), for starters my husband had the meat balls and I had liver. Omg....the liver was absolutely amazing. For mains I had chicken beyti and the husband had a mixed kebab. Again, it was delicious 😋 We decided not to have pudding as were so full yet the manager brought out a bowl of tiramisu as it was my husbands birthday. This is my favourite desert so I found room...it was delicious 😋 Our whole evening was a lovely experience and again, all the staff were so friendly. Shaking hands and opening doors. We will most definitely come again as we have found a new favourite restaurant 😀

There are times when you walk into a little piece of heaven and this is one of those places. The feeling inside this old building was soulful and alive with good vibrations. The people that run it are incredibly friendly and helpful in every way and then you have back of house who never get seen but wow did they produce the best tasting food ever. We had the hot starter followed by a platter for 2-3 and a side of lamb chops.. absolutely perfect our hearts and bellies were treated with happiness.

Ordered food on their website at 7:44pm with a 45 minute delivery window. Waited 2 hours and made 3 phone calls being told the driver is 5 minutes away and 10 minutes away. At 10pm we called again and were again the driver was 5 minutes away. Appalling service. Cold food.

Wonderful meal, very attentive staff would definitely recommend unable to comment on atmosphere as we were there very mid late afternoon so quiet but looked as if atmosphere would be good.

We have been going there for years. The meat and fish are always cooked to perfection. The lentil soup was amazing!

Hands down the best turkish! Amin went above and beyond to make our friends 30th a night to remember! The 'extra special' bread was a lovely touch. Amin was so attentive and helpful, what an absolute cherub!

Went here on a Monday recently and the food, atmosphere and service were top class. Very welcoming, attentive staff. Food was some of the best I've had in the area and Wolverton really does have some spectacular restaurants. Huge portions as well, so while it is on the upper end price wise, I was able to take a portion of my meal home and have it for lunch the next day.

I have been here a few times, always for lunch and never been disappointed with the food. It is a bit pricy for a lunch but if you are looking for something a bit special then you could do worse.

My first time getting dinner from Antep Kitchen at 1st I wasnt very sure about it but it was for a birthday meal ,but this is the best restaurant I've been to in a long time. All the staff were very welcoming and friendly nothing was too much trouble. We ordered take out and while we waited tried Turkish tea. The restaurant is spotlessly clean, a great atmosphere and smelled amazing and the food went beyond my expectations and still was good once we got home. 100% recomend either having a eat in meal or ordering take out as u wont be disappointed.

Great food as always, but starting to get pricey

Recently changed owners, been coming here for years, used to be amazing, not anymore, sat down at 7, didn't get food until half 8, finally came but was burnt to a crisp as you can see, very very sad to see this place fall so far

10/10. Amazing service, even better food. We're always greeted with such happiness from the team at Antep, who go above and beyond to provide high level, personal service. Today I tried the burger for the first time and I have to say, it was one of the best burgers I've had in my life! We were served by Amin, who was really helpful, polite and joyful. A credit to the team. Will be back soon!

We always have such a lovely time at Antep, they welcome us by name and the service is always excellent. Tonight we were served by Amin who gave an exceptional standard of service and really put the smile in service with a smile! The food is delicious, fresh and is never disappointing, we’re here at least once every two weeks.

I ordered food and dessert online. The kenafa I received was of very poor quality – it was dry and had nothing on top. It was a very disappointing experience.

This has to be the best Turkish restaurant in the UK ! We have been regular here and it has never disappointed us. Whatever we tried was always done to perfection and is bursting with taste. Our top choice is always Lamb Serma Bayti followed by Adana and recently our best is the lamb ribs. It's a bit pricey but well worth it. Great atmosphere and ambiance. Parking is available at the back.

My wife and I went there for the first time on Friday, really good food, great atmosphere and excellent service.

Absolutely loved having a meal here. Food was lush, staff were very polite and attentive. Watching your food being cooked and the smells emanating from the flame grilled is a nice touch. Definitely worth a visit. I will be going back :-)

Lovely place with a good variety of food. As one would expect from a Turkish restaurant...food is full of flavour, fresh and plenty! We had a family platter and 4 of us couldn't finish it. Very welcoming staff and perfect service. Also, don't miss out on dessert! The baklava is authentic and it has nothing to do with the commercial stuff you find everywhere. The cheesecake is Basque style, fluffy and consistent, with a coat of caramelised sugar on top. Yup, I do recommend this place if you're after a cozy environment and good quality food!

We’ve always really liked this restaurant but I had a disappointing experience. They have a new menu which is welcome but much more expensive in parts. I started with the grilled octopus. The sauce was delicious but if I pay £13 for a starter I expect there to be a good portion of octopus. There was actually very little & it was cut into very small pieces. I’ve had the same dish in a less expensive Turkish restaurant & it contained far more octopus. This was very poor value. My main was the pan fried chicken served with mash potato & sauce. I had to send it back because it was in a bowl (?) and was drowned in sauce. The mash was completely overwhelmed & was just thickening the sauce. It was awful. They were very good & cooked a replacement. The replacement was nice but I put the 3 pieces of chicken together & they did not make up a whole chicken breast. The dish cost £19 so I think that was very cheeky. The cheapest bottle of wine is now £25 which I think is very expensive. It’s a shame because we’ve always liked this restaurant but I think my meal was very poor value for money.

We used to go to the Antep a lot when we lived in Bucks. Since we moved away, nowhere compares. So a recent visit meant we had to go. Such a smashing experience. Excellence service. Food was so, so good! Good value. Thanks guys.

Amazing service. Very friendly and courteous. Vegetarian option I am told was delicious. Assorted lamb and chicken dishes were also very tasty. The staff make eating here an enjoyable experience.

We like to try a different restaurant every month and didn't know what to expect, we were pleasantly surprised. Great atmosphere, service and the food was top notch. We ordered the sharing platter which came with a cold mezé starter and the most amazing meat selection. The waiters explained each dish and were attentive throughout. Cannot fault the food or the service! Didn't need the Lemon cheesecake at the end but wow it was well worth it. Cocktail menu is also excellent! We will be back, so pleased we tried it out.

We went for a meal after a long days work, just hoping to relax a bit. The restaurant has changed hands since we last went, but we've always loved the ambience and food. We were shown to a table adjacent to a very large group of what appeared to be 3 or 4 families, all sat together . There were about 20 people, with alot of small children. The first thing that hit us was the noise level, the adjacent table seemed to have no regard for other diners, and the men in the group were constantly demanding attention from the waiters, even clicking their fingers at one point! We asked to move as they were so disrespectful and the noise they created between them was just horrendous, no attempt was made to keep the noise down. The food was really lovely, but the waiters were rushed off their feet, largely due to this family group's demanding behaviour, hence we weren't the only ones kept waiting a bit longer than we would have liked for our mains. The place felt frenzied, and was not relaxing. I think if large groups are going to take up so much of the waiters' time, they should limit the table bookings, or put the large groups at the back of the restaurant as it's really not fair on other diners.

I have eaten from this restaurant before and it was delicious. I had food delivered and not good. Never again. It was not the food I had ordered. The chicken dish was full of oil and not fresh cooked chicken. Looked like dog meat. What should of been a normal Greek feta cheese salad was block's of rubber cheese/feta. The salad was not fresh/fermented. I ordered balloon bread and was given a toasted flat bread which was definitely stale and dry. None of the food was fresh. This is now the worst Turkish in Milton Keynes in my opinion. After years of dining inside there restaurant. I had food delivered and I will never again come here. Taman

Meeting a relative in Milton Keynes and he suggested and booked this restaurant for lunch. We had good catch up over a fantastic grilled kebab lunch. Really enjoyed the starters the humos was excellent had like a warm lamb in a sauce in the middle of it salad and breads were well made we ate it all. Mains took a while to come but we were not in a hurry and a free round of drinks whilst we waited was appreciated. The wait was worthwhile the mixed grilled meats where superb grilled to perfection and super tender. Everything was eaten we enjoyed it . No doubt be back next time I am in the area. Great friendly staff too. 👍🏻

Chicken kebabs were good , I am not a sweet person however the baklava was the best I have tasted . As it was my wife's birthday they played birthday music and made her day memorable which was a nice gesture. Thanks to all the staff, brilliant service overall even on a week night.

Me and my good lady booked this restaurant for 8-15pm - We had a £100 voucher that our family had got us. We showed the person that we first met in Resturant the voucher when we arrived, he said he was the new owner but would honour the voucher. So the evening started well - We ordered starters and main meal and after this asked for the desert menu - The waiter brought it up and put one menu on the table - As there was two of us thought this was a bit strange. By this time there was only one other table eating in the restaurant, despite this the waiter did not come back and started to help the other waiter on the only other table. After about 10 mins he came over and asked if we want dessert - We complained about the wait and said yes we would like dessert. I asked the waiter to take my Mrs order which he wrote down and the then left the table - I called him back and asked if he was going to take my order, he just looked at me, we complained again and got up and left - we complained to the owner while leaving. I was so annoyed - the owner gave our voucher back and said we could use it again - Not sure I will be returning - Great night out spoiled by very very poor service - The restaurant has a new owner - The waiter is not up to the job and the main course is a lot smaller than our previous visits -Think twice before booking here.

I had the best chicken sarma beyti, it was hands down the best I have ever had and it is what I always get - Since I have had it here the first time, I have been back 4 times!!

Service was ok it could have come with a smile. Maybe speak to owner of Mavi Ruya in Sheffield. The younger waiter and female one were fine and nice. After that they were brusque. The taller larger waiter was rather sullen. He seemed in a hurry to take our order. The restaurant wasn’t exactly busy when we arrived.Why do a job in hospitality if you can’t muster a friendlier expression! It’s in a former pub so it’s interior reflects that. Decor wasn’t great. Ambience was lacking and the decorum of the place got lowered further whilst eating our meal. There were some customer’s kissing near us. Tacky uncouth behaviour. A member of staff ought to have intervened and told them to go get a room! It is a family restaurant and nobody else’s child should have be subjected to watching inappropriate behaviour. Food came quickly but it was average. Chicken kebab was cooked nicely. The salad was lacking and presentation was so-so. The boiled rice was plain and boring and could have been improved with butter. I’ve had better Turkish food elsewhere and worse too. No one asked if we wanted desserts or tea. I asked for the bill. We paid and left and no ‘bye’ or anything. We wouldn’t return as it didn’t have a very feel welcoming place and therefore I wouldn’t recommend this. restaurant.

I visited the restaurant in a party of 10 people to celebrate my Mrs’ graduation ceremony, having booked in advance as Antep is quite popular. The restaurant called in advance to confirm the booking a day before and on the day, which I appreciated. On the day itself (09/09/22), we were promptly ushered to our seats by a wonderful host who checked with us throughout the evening to ensure we were comfortable. The meal itself was extremely tasty and the portions were generous enough for us to carry our leftovers home. Complimentary starters of pitta bread and accompanying sauces were thrown in for good measure. The icing on the cake was the culture and atmosphere created by the establishment for all diners. When the celebratory cake was brought to our table, it was accompanied by music to suit the occasion and the staff led the whole restaurant in singing along and clapping! Everyone joined in as my wife danced along. What an atmosphere! In the course of the evening we celebrated three other events by other patrons. This to me is what makes Antep so special, it is not just a restaurant serving meals, but a safe place to enjoy and celebrate with total strangers as if you are all one family. Well done Antep, you outdid yourself. I will definitely come back for a meal and to celebrate the achievements of others as they did ours.

Went to celebrate my 30th, as someone who has been to a lot of Turkish restaurants this has been the best of them all, great value, perfectly cooked and really good service, would definitely visit again.

Went here for a late lunch/early dinner and it was delightful. Had the sharing platter so we could try a bit of everything. It was all delicious and beautifully cooked. Environment is also really nice. Very clean and well presented. Would heartily recommend.

Even though it was extremely busy being mother's day, we were seated and fed and paid our bill all with 1hr 15mins which included a starter and main. Staff were friendly and food was delicious and to me the prices are very reasonable.

I used to love Antep, I would go all the time and order similar things every time but the prices have become ridiculous. I understand since the pandemic the price of everything has gone up but to pay £19 for a vegetarian dish is shocking....

All chicken shish kebab were burnt. Difference in amount in plates. As we were a big team so we considered the amount of kebeb is different on the plates and all burnt it was very difficult to eat. Very very expensive. For example a chicken shish was around £18 !!! It's usually £6 in takeaway. So we all 15 person decided to not come again here for those reasons. I don't recommend this place to anyone as its very expensive and the food quality is very poor.

A nice location on the corner of the high street. Plenty of staff and very friendly with good service. The portions are very large so if you are hungry a great choice. Its not cheap but the portions explain why! Everything we ate was tasty...

Mmmm not sure I’d go back in a hurry. Chose the veggie kebab and it consisted of grilled veg plastered in a sauce. Rather boring and just tasted char grilled. No flavour at all and bland. That with a bottle of water and side couscous...

Giving our order on the phone is easy, no issues. Food is always ready when my husband goes to collect. We normally get shish meals that come with rice and a salad with pomegranate. Lovely food.

I visited for lunch with my mother, chose this restaurant out of all the Turkish restaurants in the city centre because l had been there years ago when it first opened and had loved the food. Unfortunately on this occasion as soon as we met our waiter ,our excitement was gone. He was so unbothered with us , he was more interested/friendly with other regular customers, we said thank you but he did not respond several times during our lunch, The wait for the food was long and it is a bit expensive but when the food did arrive it was good ,the 3 stars is for the food .The overall service we received was not good especially from a Turkish restaurant , did not feel welcome and honestly thats the first time l experienced that, very disappointing.

We had a meal at this restaurant as mum was visiting Milton Keynes from the moment we arrived the staff looked after us, the food was lovely we all had a chicken Shish kabab that came with rice and salad with a bottle of rose...

My word the food is good, the staff are amazing and up for a laugh 😆
