One of the best fish and chips I've had in ages. Very minimal oil.

Fish was under cooked with soggy batter and the skin still on the fish, which was also soggy. Never again.

Well those stars say it all, the Staff were very friendly as well had a good chat to the manager last night, we had fish n chips, they were excellent. I can 100% recommend it. I think I turned up just before they were ready to close but nothing was too much trouble for them. See you very soon. St Bear

I live in Nottingham but would definitely drive completely out of my way to have some of these delicious chips. Visited on a Saturday enjoying haddock and chips and returned Sunday for more. Absolutely chips at its finest 👌 Thank You. GREAT service

Great chippy. The chips are quite tasty, kebabs are awesome, and decent portion sizes. Thought it was a bit pricey, but staff were friendly. Easy parking out front or in the back car park.

Chips lovely, peas lovely, chicken kebab lovely, staff friendly, issue with large fish (batter was very soft and lightly fried) Also 2 large hairs in my meal which was a shame as we enjoyed it very much.

Generous portions more of a tempura than a battered fish for my liking.

Best value for money, very tasty chunky potato chips, perfect amount of ketchup and not too strong vinegar. This was 1 medium portion split into 2 And I'm pretty sure it cost £2.10 but I could be wrong. I just remember it was good value. (Am normally a cheapskate so I wouldn't have bought it otherwise)

Worse chips we've ever had, they are cut throat chips. looked like they have been fryed 6 times.

Sometimes the chips are great other times they are just good, depending on when you go in. Never had bad chips though. Staff are always really friendly and welcoming. Sometimes it closes early, which is annoying as you then have to go elsewhere. My rating would have been higher was it not for the fact that over the years I feel the prices have crept up a fair bit and the portion size has remained the same, if not got smaller. Compared to other chip shops, the portion sizes are on the small side.

Sorry to leave poor feedback as the staff were very friendly, but the proof of the pudding is in the eating. We are new to the area and thought we would try this chip shop for the first time. We had two cod and a large chips. The cod was freshly fried but upon opening the wrap when we got home it was pooling in oil and the batter was mush. Don't know what went on there. The chips didn't taste bad but not great and they were a luminous orange colour - possibly old oil. Considering this meal was £13, it wasn't good and neither of us wanted to finish it.

Absolutely disgusted by the state of there chips had it once before thought it was just a bad batch but nope same again 10 mins ago chips are dry and look like they have been 're-cooked multiple times what a waste of £3.10

Shocking, stopped for early lunch on way back to work. Chips were hard and over cooked. I'd say were previous night's chucked back in the fryer and really expensive!

Some of the best chips in Leicester and open all day last time I went. I always nip in on the way to Bradgate Park. Reasonable portions for the price and the chips have that classic seaside chips taste!

Terrible for £1.90 u expect more than a spud,I watched him water down the curry sauce gone down hill rather travel out a bit for better value and chips

Had pie and chips which where very good

Chips weren't great didn't taste fresh, pukka pie had a burnt bottom and mushy peas were really vinagary. I Don't recommend!!
