Nice pub. This is our local and we come In for drinks regularly. We usually share snack food here (fries or crisps), which are great and a good price. Wine is nice too.

Excellent service, food amazing. Cakes are beautiful and staff are lovely and friendly!

Always good food and service, food comes out quickly and is hot, lovely selection of deserts as well.

Had a lovely meal. I love my roast dinners and such a wide selection of vegetables. Thanks will be back again

Called in today with a work colleague for coffee. Tasted so nice we had 2. Very friendly and attentive service from Mick. Lots of customers added to a nice vibe and atmosphere. Will be back.

Been a few times and it's a lovely calm place for a bite to eat and one of many popular drinks. Staff are always lovely and attentive, certainly more so than the date I brought tonight....... I mean the ice cream I had was warmer than her!! Jesus. But ignoring my failing love life, visit here it's all round a lovely place.

The team were great! Food was tasty and lady even offered do bring us some fresh toast out from the back.

Came in today for food. Food was great had carvery and the meats and veg were all fresh and cooked to perfection for me. Was busy but managed to get a table thanks to Mick. The young lad behind the carvery was amazing help think his name was Jake. Took a mars attack to take away and that was just as good. Credit to the team.

Our waitress was absolutely lovely her name is velda very polite, smiley and chatty made sure we were all okay with our meal any issues we had they were resolved and she went the extra mile to look after us and our family very lovley lady

Fab place to meet with kids, staff are always really helpful and cleared our table really quick. I was waiting for my drink and the staff said she will bring it over for me, Velda was quick with clearing our table which was a bit of a mess with 5 kids and one of the spilling a drink! Always a chilled relaxing place with the kids, would definitely recommend!

I visited at today 21/02.2025 at about 10:30am. The Bacon was awful, the very worst bacon I've ever been offered from anywhere. The sausages were nice. The black pudding was very, very dry. ( I didnt eat it) The hash brows were also quite dry BUT quite tatsy. The Mushrooms were ok. The scrambled eggs weren't great. Very poor effort. The Toast was superb. Very very nice bread and the Irish butter was delicious. Not a very nice breakfast to be honest and I probably wont visit again.

Very busy!!! But we did arrive at 2pm maybe a bit earlier next time. Good food!!!!

Taking my dad for birthday breakfast for the first time & it was the best 1 we've ever had even given my dad a birthday treat SLICE OF CAKE 🎂 & the staff are so nice & are always asking if everything was okay so pleasant.

The Food here is really nice we often come here as a family. Good value for money, the staff are always friendly even when they are busy. I love that it has a little play area for the younger children and a family seating area. The only small thing that let’s it down is the toast on the breakfast is pre toasted so cold by time you get it.

Ripped an old man off charging 5.25 for a pint of John Smiths after asking for bitter and claiming San Miguel was bitter . Manager did not even offer the 82 year old.pensioner refund fir difference Asked for half fosters got pint didn't get glass if water, asked twice fir mushy peas with pie git beans....awful.

Pink veins and pink tinge to turkey, hard cold veg even though under heat lamps ect. Strange taste to stuffing. Daughter came down with sickness that very same night. Staff seem friendly but lack of them made them have to work far to fast and not to the best of there abilities so cleaning you could tell wasn't there priority unfortunately. We won't be returning and I won't be recommending it

Great breakfast and a fantastic price

Come for breakfast today ordered bacon and egg roll and asked for bacon well done come out perfect just how I like it which is usually not the case in other places I have been bacon usually under cooked for my liking. Staff lovely and friendly and service really quick good value for money

Came here because we were sick of having a takeaway nyt at home and thank god we did ! Not only did we save money but the food was out of this world .. great friendly staff great service… looks like our takeaway nights at home are a thing of the past because we will be coming here again

Came in for a "pay day treat" and what a treat, weve had food and drink and every part of our visit has been perfect. Weve not been in for quite a while but we will certainly be back soon. The food was UNBELEIVEABLE..... not one complaint. Service amazing from both bar and floor staff and seeing the management actively working, engaging with customers has been a real positive. Really sad i didnt take any pictures of out excellent food but we were so keen to tuck in there just wasnt time. Thankyou and we will definatly be back soon

Food here is nice, especially the carvery. And if you've got room try a piece of cake which is definitely worth leaving room for.

Place has lovely chilled out atmosphere, the staff have always been lovely and the food is lovely.

Nice pub. Easy to park at & free. Great for breakfast buffet (or takeaway breakfast buffet). Meals are fine too. Staff seem quite nice and friendly here. You can only eat outside with a dog if you have one. If there was a dog friendly indoor area then that would take the pub up another star. Menu is like regular chain pub food. They do a carvery too which is reasonable in quality and price. As with many pubs I find the lighting to be a little dull- but that's just a personal preference & it might be perfect for you.

Absolutely terrible… waited to be served at the bar and told by a codedendiing young girl there’s a queue. A queue that had formed after we arrived… her rudeness astounded us so we told her we were leaving when she responded good by then in a very patronising way… needless to say we won’t be returning 18/01/2025

This is a good place to go eat out and catch up with a couple of friends, was cheap enough and has huge portions.they have a wide selection of food and is worth the money. Would highly recommend.

Can't beat a Carvery, this is certainly one of the best in the area.

food was good service at the bar wasn't the best walked up to bar to ask a question and got looked at and then WHAT!!! out of the mouth of olivia I think her name was on the recipit shocking customer service every other member of staff was great though just the one let you down shame that's the one thing that lost the fifth star every thing else great

Overall experience was brilliant. The atmosphere was very friendly and welcoming. The staff (especially Olivia and Nicky) were always helpful and went the extra mile to help us with what we needed. We came for the carvery and the food was amazing, absolutely nothing wrong. Both the meat and the veg were fantastic and the selection was great.

Visited today 08/01/2025 me and my wife came for a carvery very welcoming from walking through the door to leaving food was absolutely delicious and fresh meat our waiter a lovely young woman was very attentive to all of our needs and asked at the appropriate times if I was meal was okay highly recommend anson farm and we will be returning 10/10

Food is very bland burger was disgusting and chips must have been cooked in months old oil I told the sever when she collected out plates and she just said okay after I said why we left the food wouldn’t go back again only positive is the kids play area

Over priced mush, too loud and staff didn't help. We first came in and booked a table for my friends birthday and their biggest table was next to the kids area. All the kids was screaming at the top of thier lungs, and one of our mates was scared of being hit by a child. Non of us could concentrate on what we wanted to order. I asked staff if there was anywhere else and she couldn't be bothered to help and pretty much ignored me. When we got our food, we had to send it back as the chips was over cooked and tasted like nothing. One of our mates was left with out food while everyone else ate. He got his food back and it tasted like nothing even the burger tasted like nothing just it's sauce, even the Yorkshire pudding tasted like nothing. I will not be coming again it's too expensive for mush and food that tastes bland. Ignorent staff and bad seating.

Just had the worst experience in a pub meal ever. Carvery was overcooked and just turkey or beef. Dirty chicken burger overcooked and chips reheated and dry complained and replacement no better. Chicken select meal dry and breasts small crisps. Service at bar half hour wait although 6 in queue. When we arrived noise from child play area excessive. We had children in our party so a level of noise acceptable but this was screaming and no attempt to chastise made. Reserved notices on lots of tables but this appeared To be table areas which had been cleaned and not made available for a change to avoid the unbearable child area. Service very poor. 10 people wont be back
