Its good solid food. I really liked the Yorkshire pud wrap. Didn't really need that much mustard lol. Saw some people who go the buffet...looked great big mounds of food. Not pricey

Terrible service at one point there was around 14 people waiting to get served at the bar and one member of staff , the play area was so bad with kids fighting and running riot with no parents to be seen , our 18 month granddaughter couldn't play because there was kids far to old in the baby area jumping around and fighting.

Great service from Velda when clearing our table - she was lovely and friendly and made us feel welcome! We will be back thank you.

I have been visiting Anson Farm for years now ,and it never fails to disappoint. The food is always hot,fresh, and cooked to perfection. I had the gammon carvery, and the gammon just melted in my mouth. I love the variety of veg on offer, and the Yorkshire puddings are always spot on. I couldn't manage a cake away this time, but their desserts are to die for. This is the perfect place to bring a family with its kids' play area and a microwave to warm bottles or baby food. The staff are always friendly and go the extra mile, and this visit was no different. I'd like to give a special mention to Jacob, who greeted us and Jess who took the time to familiarise us with the app,eventhough they were both rushed off their feet during a very busy Mother's Day. It is so nice and refreshing to see young people enjoying their job and having great attitudes at work. Thank you we will be back soon 🙏

Really good portion size and good quality for the price paid. Nice relaxing atmosphere and staff where pleasant and attentive we had a small carvery and the stack burger both we could not finish due to portion size just called in on the off chance but will certainly call again numerous deals throughout the week on food definitely one of the better chain style pubs give it a go sure you won't be disappointed

Full marks for Anson Farm, and a particular shout out to young Jessica, the waitress who was obviously run off her feet busy, but still took the time to show us how to use the app to order our food. We'd have been stuck in a rather ominous queue otherwise, but no, Jessica saved the day, we ordered our tickets on the app & sat down to a hearty meal. The food was excellent. Everything was hot & fresh. We had a carvery each and the turkey just melted in my mouth. The vegetables and sauces were all very good too, only little gripe being that some of the cauliflower & broccoli were a tad underdone, but no great issue. The sprouts were delicious & pretty much the whole meal was spot on. It's also refreshing to see young people who take care of their patrons, every pub needs a Jessica. Top marks all round!!

Last time it never arrived at all. This time though a little late….no problems….we had a code…..dinners were lovely and hot.

I had sirloin steak and it can be hit or miss on weither you get it how you asked, so I always ask for rare knowing it often comes slightly more done, and it was lovely and tender 😊 The music was more club vibe though 🤣 not really our thing, but can't have everything. Price was ok too.

Pop in for a carvery with the family, Roasties are to die for, and lovely thick gravy, i also loved the take away cake section so i had a nice treat for later

I've been quite a few times now and the carvery is consistently good quality. The team sorted a dessert in a to-go container. It looks like they've got a couple of hand pulled beers now.

Popped in and had a regular carvery, massive portion, food was delicious, Yorkshire puds weren't great, like crispy dust, but assume that was one off. Lots of parking and served quickly, would come back again

Early morning breakfast with friends. Great food and plenty of it. Nice friendly atmosphere with excellent service. Good strong coffee if you’re suffering from a hangover.

Not a bad carvery, the turkey was nice but the potatoes were very dry. It can be pot luck depending on when certain items were cooked. The gravy was good and portions of course being a carvery are as big as you want. The medium plate is big enough. There has been times they ran out of Turkey by the time we got there so don’t leave it late. There’s times it’s busy and not many tables but half the place is always reserved with nobody sitting there.

Friendly table and serving staff, Velda and the man who served the meat on the carvery were good with the kids.

Absolutely fantastic service! The food and drinks arrived quickly after ordering through the app and were cooked to perfection. The manager Jordan went above and beyond to help me customise an éclair to reduce the sugar content, kindly serving the chocolate and sauce separately so I could add just the right amount for me. I thoroughly enjoyed it. The service was brilliant—helpful, thoughtful, and truly above and beyond. Thank you so much! We’ll definitely be back.

Came in yesterday for my little girls 7th Birthday. The staff were amazing and looked after us well. My Daughter enjoyed her Junior carvery and even finished here plate. The chefs were amazing with her wishing her a happy birthday and giving her a free slice of cake.

Nice pub. This is our local and we come In for drinks regularly. We usually share snack food here (fries or crisps), which are great and a good price. Wine is nice too.

Always good food and service, food comes out quickly and is hot, lovely selection of deserts as well.

Been a few times and it's a lovely calm place for a bite to eat and one of many popular drinks. Staff are always lovely and attentive, certainly more so than the date I brought tonight....... I mean the ice cream I had was warmer than her!! Jesus. But ignoring my failing love life, visit here it's all round a lovely place.

Came in today for food. Food was great had carvery and the meats and veg were all fresh and cooked to perfection for me. Was busy but managed to get a table thanks to Mick. The young lad behind the carvery was amazing help think his name was Jake. Took a mars attack to take away and that was just as good. Credit to the team.

Carvery arrived with no gravy. The tiniest amount of meat. Absolutely freezing. Food was not edible. Worst order I’ve ever had to be honest.

Our waitress was absolutely lovely her name is velda very polite, smiley and chatty made sure we were all okay with our meal any issues we had they were resolved and she went the extra mile to look after us and our family very lovley lady

Fab place to meet with kids, staff are always really helpful and cleared our table really quick. I was waiting for my drink and the staff said she will bring it over for me, Velda was quick with clearing our table which was a bit of a mess with 5 kids and one of the spilling a drink! Always a chilled relaxing place with the kids, would definitely recommend!

Not enough gravy and unable to order extra gravy for carvery on the app. This needs improving. Other than that food delicious

I visited at today 21/02.2025 at about 10:30am. The Bacon was awful, the very worst bacon I've ever been offered from anywhere. The sausages were nice. The black pudding was very, very dry. ( I didnt eat it) The hash brows were also quite dry BUT quite tatsy. The Mushrooms were ok. The scrambled eggs weren't great. Very poor effort. The Toast was superb. Very very nice bread and the Irish butter was delicious. Not a very nice breakfast to be honest and I probably wont visit again.

One of the best carvery dinners ive had delivered...asked for no peas..extra tub of gravy and horseradish and got it all..so who ever done my dinner today thanks so much,it was absolutely beautiful 🙂

Taking my dad for birthday breakfast for the first time & it was the best 1 we've ever had even given my dad a birthday treat SLICE OF CAKE 🎂 & the staff are so nice & are always asking if everything was okay so pleasant.

normally Anson farm is OK, but this meal they pushed out was very poor, dry, no gravy, and extra pigs in blankets PAID FOR missing (in fact even the standard pigs in blankets + yorkies were missing. Not up to normal quality of 1..2 a week from them usually, someone must be having a VERtY bad day

The Food here is really nice we often come here as a family. Good value for money, the staff are always friendly even when they are busy. I love that it has a little play area for the younger children and a family seating area. The only small thing that let’s it down is the toast on the breakfast is pre toasted so cold by time you get it.
