¡Un lugar horrible! El servicio era terrible, ridículamente lento y la comida era mediocre en el mejor de los casos. Sin embargo, la restricción era sucia, con placas finas anteriores apiladas en lo alto y las instalaciones del baño eran repugnantes, con el único inodoro sucio y el cesto de desechos rebosante de pañuelos sucios e incluso una toalla sanitaria ensangrentada. ¡Fue una experiencia horrible!

I recommend the kimchi fried rice the most, it’s very fragrant. The portions of snacks are relatively small, so it is recommended to order larger portions if there are many people. The restaurant environment is very clean, and the Korean girl group's song MV is playing.

The service is very good! The restaurant staff were very welcoming and friendly and responded quickly every time we needed help. The quality of the barbecue is excellent, with a wide variety of meats and authentic seasonings. The whole dining process makes people feel very comfortable and strong recommend!

The staff will also carefully explain the combination of each ingredient and dipping sauce. The dining environment is clean and the atmosphere is lively. Will definitely come again next time!

Really good place for Korean food… service was amazing. Menu was easy to order from as it included pictures. Plenty to choose from. We ordered some spare ribs, chicken wings and Korean spicy ramen noodles, this totally blew our expectations away! Pls visit if passing through the area. A hidden gem for sure

I dine in on a Saturday lunch. The restaurant was 70% full, appear to be in good business. Surprisingly, I cannot find any staffs who look like Korean. Ordered a kimchi pancake and a kimchi fried rice with pork. Kimchi pancake was fair but price to portion ratio is not justified for me who used to have Korean meals. Kimchi fried rice was bland, paying extra for meat is not worth it. Not a great Korean meal experience. Service is above average as the staffs greet customers with smile.

Just experienced Annyeong Manchester for the first time the food was great, waitress was really friend good service and atmosphere, would definitely return again.

The restaurant was in a alleyway. There was no service when I got there. I had to go up to the bar and say my reservation. They told me to sit on the sofas and wait which I did for 30 minutes and then went to the staff because I wanted to order food. My party of 6 arrived and still we had no service. We ordered by the QR code on the table and it said we would have service charge which made no sense as there was no service (not even average service). When the food arrived it was bland. I decided to take it home to cook it myself with the ingredients they gave.

Absolutely loved it. Great ambience. The food was amazing. Staff were really friendly and helpful. We dined in, ordered a royal barbeque set meal. It was a good portion size and we shared it between 4 of us. Absolutely enjoyed the experience. The staff helped us a lot. Explained to us what each dish was, made us aware of the portion size, and was very attentive to our needs.

We booked in via phone during the day, late morning, and turned up to be told we had no booking. They accommodated us with a table downstairs, which was not powered, no BBQ, so we requested another table after much debate we were moved again to a table which again turned out to be unplugged but at least had a socket close by. The down stairs area is more like a cellar and looks like it is used for storage, with a push bike and various other equipment around the place, but at least the toilets are nearby and it is quieter than the busy main floor. After eventually getting seated at a table which was working we ordered drinks and food, cutlery was provided for one of our group of 4, eventually a second side playe and chopsticks appeared. We were given our food, still missing cutlery and tongs for the BBQ. After asking a third person these were provided to our group. The food was thoroughly enjoyable and I can recommend the experience of a Korean BBQ to anyone who asks. Do however be careful in the toilets as one of our group managed to fall on the uneven flooring, just a bruise and her pride was hurt.

Visited here with my family this evening. Only option to order was through the QR code. Although I understand some people prefer to use a QR code, we spent nearly £200 in the restaurant and would have preferred a proper waitress service. QR code was cumbersome and different prices from those quoted in the menu. Although the staff were pleasant and the food was good, the restaurant would have benefited (financially too, as we would have ordered more) from more interaction from the staff: and what about those people who are trying Korean for the first time, how did they know what to order from a QR code. Really disappointed - would choose a different Korean restaurant solely for this reason next time.

First time coming here, the staff were lovely and seemed very approachable and friendly. We got a kimchi pancake which didn’t really hit the standard of kimchi pancakes for me. Could’ve been better. The bbq meat and veggies we got were nice so I don’t have anything negative to say regarding that. The decor was pleasant so it was a nice environment to dine in. But the screen playing music next to the bar really took me out of the restaurant experience. I saw another review about the music choice being abit strange and I have to agree. We were listening to the same song twice in a row at points as it was just YouTube autoplay. I feel like maybe if they’re going to use youtube they could atleast make a playlist they use and add new songs too so it doesn’t just play random lyric videos. Although the music did make a fun conversation topic for us to talk about while eating. Overall was an enjoyable experience but they have a few areas I’d say need improvement.

Amazing food, great quality and very filling. Quite expensive

Had a lovely meal here, compliments of my son. It's a style of eating I can't say I have had before, but sat back and enjoyed watching the meat being cooked and all the flavours of the varying spiced where really great! Highly recommended.

Their food was unhygienic, and after eating it, I had diarrhea and an E. coli infection. I experienced a low fever and severe vomiting and diarrhea for three days.

Tried the bbq there, turned out their small dishes were better than the bbq. Somehow how the smallest power was still too strong, the bbq meat got burnt too quick, and the pan got black pretty fast before we finished the bbq set. Probably will try the dishes only next time. Their dishes were really tasty.

I visited here at 6pm on a Thursday to find the restaurant not too busy. I was greeted promptly by Ying, who showed me to a comfortable table, and was waited on by Ying and Nilukshan, who were both fantastic. I ate traditional kimchi, with crispy seaweed, and stir fried udon with seafood (didn't get a photo of the udon - gone too quick), all were delicious, and cooked perfectly. I drank the original chamisul soju, also great. Highly recommend, I'll definitely be back.

Top notch Korean restaurant. One of the few Korean restaurants in the UK that actually has naengmyeon - one of Korea’s most popular dishes. Service was very efficient. Food only took about 5 minutes to come out and the flavours were on point and reasonably priced too. Don’t believe any bad reviews of this place. I don't know what all the negative reviews are about as this place is great. We came here for our 5th year anniversary. When booking online, we requested a table in a quiet place but they gave us the whole corner next to the door which I was amazed about. The food is delicious. We ordered the Royal BBQ Banquet set with loads of variety, especially the ban chan. The decor and ambience were really nice. The staff and manager were amazing. Big shout out to Anu and Nilukshan who took care of us. FYI, not suitable for disabled as there are steps immediately on entrance and toilets are located downstairs with no lift.

Last weekend, I had the pleasure of visiting what I now consider to be the best Korean restaurant in Manchester. Accompanied by a group of friends, we were all eager to try something new and authentic, and this place did not disappoint.

From the marinated meats to the fresh vegetables and traditional side dishes, every bite was a delight. We particularly loved the bulgogi and the selection of banchan, which offered a perfect balance of flavors and textures.

Terrible! First of all, the cold noodle was definitely spoiled otherwise it is disgusting. I can only take a bite and I want to vomit. The single piece of rock hard beef on top is ridiculous too. INEDIBLE! GROSS! Secondly, raw beef does not taste like beef. Too much sugar and felt like eating carrots since it was not thawed. DO NOT ORDER! Thirdly, KIM CHI soup with rice was not spicy at all. Taste like tomato soup with pork. The portion is handful and definitely overpriced. But still edible. fourthly, ZA ZHANG noodle is normal but no korean style at all. Lastly, the NA MOOL set which is the seasoned spinach, radish and sprounts tastes like it has been stored for a long time. Do not recommend to order. I had been to this restaurant before and ordered BBQ set which is pretty good. But the experience this time is terrible. The waiters seem to be not bothered. Take ages to ask them for order or pay the bill. Probably won't go again.

Came here for the Korean BBQ at dinner time. The options were plenty and they allowed us to swap items in the BBQ platter due to dietary restrictions. Staff were nice and friendly. Would recommend this place for a nice night out or a group dinner.

1 star is too high to be honest just ordered some Bul gar bi and ended up paying over 12 pounds for about six pathetic squares of bulgogi. Don't waste your time here it's a complete joke

My friend and I have been talking about trying Korean bbq for a long time and have nothing but positive reviews on our experience at Annyeong Korean Restaurant & Bar in Manchester. As first timers, the space and atmosphere was nice, the service was fantastic and recommendations were on point. Aside from the experience of cooking the meats, the flavours were also just amazing. Really enjoyed everything, including the soju (can't forget that). I will definitely be going back and next time try their karaoke rooms. So to anyone wanting that Korean bbq experience, especially if it's your first time, I highly recommend Annyeong Korean Restaurant & Bar (in Manchester)...Enjoy!!

I had a great time here as the food was relishing and the staff was very welcoming. Overall I had a great time here.

Quite a large Korean restaurant, plenty of spaces for bigger groups and food came out piping hot. Very filling and reasonably priced rice and soupy dishes.I loved my bibimbap and enjoyed the beef rib broth soup. The short rib was tender. The group a few tables down from us had Korean BBQ which filled the whole place with a smoky fragrance, which was quite overpowering, but I suppose it could be seen as part of the experience!

Last week,with my friend first time trying the Korean bbq in Manchester,Service is a nightmare,we order drinks and waiting around 10min,we remind the waiter again but the waiter attitude is bad on the face and charge us 10% service charge.

Very good range of food, I recommend the barbecue platters and the bibimbaps, their marinated meats are so tasty!

I've been here a couple of times, and it's always consistent. They usually ask if you want bbq straight away but usually I have to ask to review the menu first.We ordered a shared starter which was good choice in terms of price and variety ranging from crispy squid , tempura prawn, potato cake and dumplings. For main, I went for the beef bibimbap. This was really tasty and a good portion. They have a good variety of food and drink and good atmosphere also a handy location in town.

We went to this restaurant by chance as we walked past and had never had Korean BBQ before. Wow the food was so delicious, especially the pancakes and the beef! Will definitely be in again. Gorgeous food!

Ordered a traditional cold noodle with sliced beef and when we received the noodle it had one slice of beef. Ridiculous! We thought we’d confirm if that’s how it should be so we asked a member of staff. “Is this the cold noodle with beef?” And the staff told us “yes” and before we even asked about the amount of sliced beef he said there’s only one slice of beef with the noodle. He knew what we’re trying to ask before we actually asked him. I feel like a lot of people ask that question… Not worth it!

Not recommended. The food is lovely but the service is appalling. Not sure we'd go back again which is a shame really because the food we did eat was actually quite nice!

Food portion were very small, BBQ meat were awful and the restaurant is very smoky from the grills smoke. Not recommend

The two of us ordered a 43.9-pound set meal. The set meal consisted of some extremely unpalatable kimchi. Those who like chewy kimchi can go for it. There was also a platter made of two small bowls of soup and four small plates of meat. Because the portion of the dish was very small, we thought it was not the size of the 87.8-pound set meal, so we called the waiter and said that even though there were two of us, the set meal still counted as 43.9. In addition, we also ordered Asahi beer which was very sour and must have gone bad. Later, before checking out, it was said that the set meal was 43.9 and when we checked out, it was 87.8 (the price for two people). The waiter just acted stupid. In the end, the two of us spent 178 pounds. Don't come here.

Overexpensive garbage, we got a BBQ platter and all I left with was a third full stomach and 67£ lighter. 0 stars never again.

Good food, attentive service, good space. The lighting at the dining table is limited because it hasn't been replaced yet.

The atmosphere was very smoky and uncomfortable because there was barely any ventilation. The staff barely served us. We had to get up and ask for things or wait until they came near us which was very rare. At some point I went to the toilet and it was very dirty and there was no soap or way to dry your hands. The food on the other hand was very nice and delicious. However, the previous points ruined the entire experience. I recommend the staff is more attentive to the customers and they look around the entire room to see if anyone needs water or something. Also install better ventilation because the entire room was cloudy from all the barbecue smoke and was probably not very healthy. It was very here to breathe.

Friendly Staff BUT…. Very Disappointed because: The place smelt rancid. Everywhere was dusty. Cob webs on ceiling lights. Sticky/oily chairs. Dim lights. Menu books were very greasy. Oil from the exhaust pipe atop our bbq table was dripping before we even start to have a bbq. Staff not well trained to take orders. Cleaning items like Dettol was kept beside serving/kitchen utensils like ladles, serving spoons etc. Short staffed as there were only x2 staff. The food hygiene rating of 5 displayed at the door didn’t reflect the actual state of the restaurant. Food was not as expected, like the fried calamari was less than average as there was more batter with little to minute squid ring in it. Pan cakes tasted stale and appeared not freshly made. Reasonable customer skills but the place Needs a lot of immediate improvement, particularly food safety & hygiene. Cooking, presentation and taste of foods must also be polished-up. For the following reasons given, I cannot recommend this place, therefore, the place truly deserves a generous 1 star rating.

AVOID AT ALL COST. GOT A SEVERE FOOD POISONING THERE!! TWICE!! My partner and I went for dinner there on Friday evening. We ordered three dishes and had to return 2 of them because they brought us the wrong ones. After the food, we've both had food poisoning on Friday night and my partner was severely ill for two days. But i was fine by Saturday, I wasn't sure whether we got the food poisoning from there. However, as we had some chicken wings leftovers from the restaurant, I ate them on Sunday for lunch. This was my first meal that day and the wings were in the fridge all the time. 2 hours after eating the wings (haven't eaten anything else), I started vomiting and having a diarrhea at the same time. This continued for the next 24 hours and I ONLY FULLY RECOVERED ON WEDNESDAY (72 HOURS AFTER EATING).

Annyeong is a great place for more formal gathering but also enjoying the comforts of privacy with a varied choice of seating. The menus are in English, Korean and Chinese with an addition of photographs of the more popular choices. It's easy to order with the staff and the food is freshly prepared. We have ordered the fried chicken balls in sesame sauce, kimbab, a set of kimchi: cabbage, radish and cucumber, as well as seafood ramen and a beef steamed bun. The food was amazing, though the chicken had a little too much batter around but otherwise everything was delicious. We weren't able to finish everything but you can ask for a box to take the leftovers with you. The amount of food for the value is fair, for all the meal we paid £30 per person, including the drinks.

Order Kichi jigae and my boyfriend got bugolgi jigae. I was expecting a normal size bowl, the rice size i expected, also we had fried spicy chicken to share. Honestly the sizes for the price are disgusting! £11.50 for the sampler size of soup?! Absolutely ridiculous. The restaurant was cold, servers never around, and also the girls toilet was out of service so it was awkward using male toilets and not clean. Never going again, and would not recommend

Best Korean BBQ that I've ever had in the UK. The kimchi is super nice, the sauces are delicious, varied meat selections and delicious Korean rice cake. I will come back for sure.

Really disappointed with this restaurant. The restaurant was eyewatering as it was full of smoke. I had requested if I could have a prawn bipimbap which as they serve prawns and they are placed on the top I didn't think that would be an issue. The server refused even though I shared I was happy to pay more? As I assume they cook it on site it made me concerned for how they are cooking it? Are they pre made? The food didn't taste like authentic Korean. I won't be going back.

Food was okay, service was terrible. Staff were very blunt, miserable and rude. Seemed in a rush to go home were mopping around our feet as we were eating even tho we came in just over an hour before they closed for something quick to eat and go. Waiter came over and said we had five minutes to order (which was fair enough) however after asking if we could be left for another minute to decide the waiter said “yeah” and stood over us. The combination of the huffing/rudeness and breathing down our necks as we ordered made us feel more pressured than relaxed or comfortable. Won’t be coming here again

Our experience at the restaurant was outstanding! We ordered the army stew along with several other sides, and everything was not only delicious but also served piping hot and fresh. The quick service and attentive staff added to the overall enjoyment of our meal. It was a delightful dining experience, and we left completely satisfied with both the food and service.

Took my wife here for our anniversary meal and sadly it was really bad. We had to return one of the meals because it was so greasy, and the photo is of a “Korean crab pancake” which was like something a child would bring back from school cooking class. This was not authentic Korean food I’m afraid.

Ordered the jajangmyeon and fried chicken. The noodles was a bit too soft and the chicken was just mediocre. Had to wave down the waiter quite a few times.
