Annitsford Tandoori Takeaway in Northumberland

Ordered 2 king prawn curry and got maybe 5 prawns and a bowl of sauce in each. Very disappointed

Food was absolutely gorgeous as usual. Can hienstly say I've never had a bad meal from this tandoori. We really love this place and cannot reccomended it enough. The sraff and delivery drivers are all super lush too.

I found the masala and mint sauce very spicy even though it’s supposed to be a mild curry.

Worst Indian I’ve tasted in a long time,Nan bread stone cold,both curry’s no flavour at all.will not use again

We often get food from here once or twice it’s been late and cold however most of the time it is really good. We had a takeaway tonight and it was delicious

lamb vindaloo was spot on once again. Mixed kebab was nice with generous amounts of meat. masala sauce was ok, abit on the oily side.

Meal was divine. Everything was piping hot. Spicy chips were crispy, lamb was melt in the mouth, peshwari naan was superb. I promise to never cheat on you with another takeaway again!

I’ll never order from here again. Food was disgusting. Starts went in the bin as did the burn dry nan bread. Onion. Curry and rice were ok.

Recently moved back to the area - me and my partners ordered of course just eat was slow called the shop they reassured our order hadn’t been delivered as the phone hung up the driver knocked! Food is just as amazing as it was before I left.

the chips, keemanan and one packet of rice was missing but regardless it was nice just a little disappointing

Never disappointed, full of flavour

Ordered from this place for years and never had an issue. Last night we got one piece of lamb in our curry, Nan and popadom were tiny and rice tub was half full. Really disappointed

food was ok, there was an awful lot of onions plus the chicken was dry, also the poppodom was soggy that we received i could bend it in half without it snapping.

Food is always good quality but the delivery is appalling. Always takes over an hour and half to get your food, even as a soon as you order you always get a delayed notification. If you don’t mind waiting then happy days but they really need to improve on there delivery.

Outstanding! I don’t say that lightly I’ve made just as many complains regarding takeaways in my time . I tip my hat to these guys food was beautiful. Thank you I will be back .

Delivery driver told me that not many people order the imeley Karahi. I'm not sure why because it was beautiful. Full of flavour with moderate heat....fully recommend it. Our new go to Indians.

Food was mega late but came hot still. Curries i ordered were amazing, naan bread also nice. Only complaint was the cheesy chips... chips with chopped up "plastic" cheese. Barely covered some of them. They must have used about 2 slices of cheese. It's not expensive to put some cheese on some chips

Food arrived right on time and piping hot. Everything was absolutely delicious. A faultless meal. Will definitely be ordering from here again in the future.

First time using this take away. Food arrived in good time and was piping hot. Driver friendly. Unfortunately the food was awful. Poppadoms were so salty they could have killed a snail. Nan bread did taste nice but was burnt to a crisp so was like a poppadom bread. Curry sauces were fine. Rice was tasty. Chips were like chewing rubber not sure what exactly happened to them but pretty sure they weren't cooked properly. Onion bhajis cant put my finger on it but they weren't right very dry and the sauce was strong with this one. The previous reviews are good so not sure if we just landed on a really bad night.

I never like to leave a negative review as I hate the keyboard warriors, but this is well deserved. I ordered a meal for my birthday and bit into what I thought was a chicken bone but it wasn't it, it was a rusty bit of metal. Lucky it didn't break a tooth or cut my gums as it would have been a trip to get a jab. Spoke with the owner who came and collected the bit of metal and said he would look into it and said to ring him the next time I ordered a meal and it would be for free. I'm not bothered about a free meal but was awkward and rang him and he rang ahead to the restaurant before I awkwardly ordered the meal and the guy who took the order gave me a £10 discount! I'll never eat there again and I hope he learns from this as he sounds a little arrogant to be honest!
