La tarta de frambuesa y los macarrones que tuve fueron muy buenos, una tienda preciosa en una calle pintoresca con asientos fuera : ) El personal era agradable y eficiente asegurándose de que mi comida se veía bien y me dieron las cosas que quería.

There are a few great "cake" places in Bristol this one offered a chocolate vegan and GF choice which made an easy decision for me. The online ordering process was very straight forward, and I was kept informed along the way, for example when the cake was ready on the day ordered etc. The cake was just like the website photo, a small work of art, the recipient was delighted, and it tasted wonderful. I was sent an email about the Christmas range which looks very impressive. It is a shame that the macarons are no longer gf. I would order from here again in a heartbeat.

Lovely patisserie, with a wide selection of macarons. Well worth the visit, as the shop is beautiful and the food is lovely. Whilst they only offer a takeaway service, they do have a number of tables and chairs outside to drink your coffee and eat your cake in a bustling area of Clifton.

Bought a chocolate/peanut butter cake costing £3.50 asked for it to be cut in half it was to share with my partner it was given to me in a Annas takeaway box which I did ask was it needed for one cake . It’s not the 20p which the box cost it was a total waste of boxing when it could’ve been given to me in just an ordinary bag why do people try and be cute to make 20p ?

I've visited Anna Cake Couture in Clifton on a handful of occasions. So when I needed to find a Bristol-based cake maker, they naturally came to mind. I ordered a small occasion cake for my partner's birthday. I chose a cake from their cakes for two range - a pretty pink crescent cake topped with macarons, chocolate shards, gold balls and gold leaf. Although small, it packs a punch, in terms of appearance and flavour. It looked beautiful and tasted delicious. I really couldn't fault it, and I'm quite particular about cake. It needs to be light and flavoursome, and it was. My partner said it was one of the prettiest cakes they had ever seen! Plus the online ordering process is very easy. If you're looking for a celebration cake maker in Bristol, Anna Cake Couture is well worth your consideration.

Having lived in France for nearly 20 years the chances of sampling a good macaron were many. Award winning ones from Pontivy in Brittany being my favourite. Imagine a shop selling them in Clifton, now that I am in the UK. The semblance ends there, hard, chewy and not really able to be called Macaron....sadly. Desolé.

Love this place come quite often . Came in the shop with my daughter today . And the service from one of employees serving was blunt & rude while we were picking macrons. We bought other cakes not cheap , that I don’t mind . But it’s an experience to come in . So I suggest you need to have staff that have patience & not patronising when they talk to you had if you are stupid . Real shame

Beautiful chic cake store, with a little seating area outside. We had the cookie sandwiches which were delicious, in hindsight I wish I had ordered some macaroons to take home too as they looked amazing also. The lady on the tills was polite and helped with questions we had about the area.

Visited Anna's with my granddaughters in a recent visited to the UK. Charming little cake shop in a lovely area near the Clifton suspension bridge.

So I have been a regular customer since first opening and have found the the prices have been hiked up over the years. The cookies have gone up £1 and we also perched Christmas biscuits one year and then the next the price for same amount were almost £10 more. I do understand that prices do rise but I find these to be excessive. I have had good cakes/macrons/cookies and coffee here but with saying that I can also say that they have been below standards from time to time. This maybe due to what seems to be a high turnover of staff. All this on top of closing the indoor seating does put me off visiting again. Now again I do understand to close this at the start of the covid pandemic is understandable but to keep it closed and only offer outside seating during the winter months is poor considering they clearly did have the space be it small. I would give Anna a 1 star but feel that they have also got it right in the past.

Cakes and desserts look delicious… but that’s as far as they go. Dessert lacking flavor and unimpressive.

I called into the cake shop on the off chance they had a celebration cake for my big birthday. They had one cake left with my name on it :), which had been baked that day, it was perfect for my 60th. 4 layers of vanilla sponge with raspberry jam and buttercream, with white chocolate icing and topped off with macrons and pipework it was beautiful. The cake was so moist even a week later, i was advised to keep it in the fridge. It was so beautiful and worth every penny, I would highly recommend anyone to try the celebration cakes and other delicious treats. What I didn't factor in was how heavy it was as I then had to carry it around Bristol all day as I was visiting for a few days, so the photo I took doesn't show the cake looking its best, but it tasted fab and as a lover of cakes and all things sweet I was very happy with it.

Very tasty and beautiful cakes and cupcakes ♥️♥️♥️. I really love the chocolate and peanut butter flavour. I will definitely come back 🌸🌸🌸.

The cakes looked delicious but because we entered at 9.50am (the door was open), we were told we couldn't purchase anything because they didn't open until 10. Seriously!

I woke up early on Saturday morning to be able to see as much as possible. It was quite cool outside and so was Anna Cakes Couture's cappuccino macarons, cookies and cupcakes. You can tell I needed a good shot of sugar to start the day! The macarons were very good, each one had a different flavour. Unfortunately, they didn't last for the photo! My favorite was raspberries and peanut butter. The white chocolate cookie was simply sublime, it had all the requirements of an American cookie. The chocolate and cherry cupcake was very good, super soft and the frosting was light and delicate. The only thing I didn't like was the jam inside, simply too sweet for my taste...

I don’t usually go for custom cakes on my birthday but wanted to treat my sister and I on our milestone birthday. Ordering was super easy. I was worried we might not get our order fulfilled due to lockdown but thankfully it did. We chose the rose and pistachio cake and we have just finished a slice. My sister said it was the best cake she has ever had. It was delicious and you could taste all the different components. Sponge was light, rose was delicate and not too overpowering and then the pistachio came through. We were limited in our celebration due to lockdown but we had each other and our cake! I spied the delicious cupcakes so will definitely be back for those shortly. Thank you for being the perfect end to our special day :) p.s pick up was quick, easy and efficient.
