The food and atmosphere was good, the service was a bit slow either understaffed or exceptional busy that night and didn't have enough staff.

Abit quiet today as it was lunchtime. But this would be a lovely place to have a meal with friends in the evening.

Visited with a friend for an impromptu evening meal. Great deal on 2 courses for£21. Excellent choices available for both starters and mains. Service was good and there were no long waits, but it was midweek and fairly quiet. Food was lovely , although the veggies with the main course were cold. Otherwise a lovely meal.

Hidden down a back street, once you enter the restaurant, it is modern, clean and very comfortable. The staff are friendly and professional, and the food is to die for. I started with Williams salad; thinly sliced pear with stilton, coated with a honey sauce; my wife started with fresh asparagus with parmesan. Both were stunning. I had pork cheeks for main and my wife had ravioli with crab meat. Puds were crème brûlée and tiramisu. Both were exquisite. We had to travel quite a way to try Angelo's, including the cost of an overnight stay. It was well worth the trip. Disabled access is easy, my wife's mobility scooter just drove in the front door and the staff could not have been more helpfull. The disabled toilets are easy to access and are clean.

I don't leave reviews often but had to on this occasion. The taste and quality of the food is great. I had the calamari starter and it was delicious. The salmon main was a dish I have never tried before and it was really good. I have to admit I was impressed with the service of the team . Antonio Sydney took me to my table and was very friendly and helpful, and I really enjoyed our brief conversation. Also, the other lovely waiter (I don't know his name but he is thin, tall, blond and one of the younger members of the team) was also very friendly and quick. Both Antonio and the other waiter were very quick, ensured I was happy with my meal and it was a great customer experience for me. Good atmosphere as well !

Had a lovely Quattro Stagioni with garlic bread. Nice and friendly staff that take good care of you.

We love to treat ourselves to a meal here when visiting Preston. The staff are always friendly and efficient. The food is always very good and we never have to wait long. The decor is very good and a relaxing environment.

Fantastic little restaurant tucked away in a little street in Preston. Great deal on which lets you get two courses for £21 or three for £26. Lots of fabulous starters and main courses to choose from, this deal is well worth it. We got mussels, seafood salad and the antipasto platter to start, the portions were massive and again very good value for money. Mains were: Romano pizza with prawns, Pig cheeks in a red wine sauce and carbonara. All three dishes were very nice, hot and good quality ingredients. Staff were friendly, attentive and professional. Lots of seating available when I went, on a Saturday mid afternoon. I want to go back already 😋

What an awful Experience! Spoke to the manager with regards to the rude staff. He didn’t have no empathy no emotion! One of the staff was in our personal space which we felt soo awkward and uncomfortable about! Another staff member told me to read the menu when I asked him if they serve cocktails! One of the staff members D.K made us feel comfortable but Honestly wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone! Absolutely awful!!

Been here with 2 different groups of friends over the past 2 months and had a great meal both times. Used to come here more years ago but not been again until recently for no other reason than life got busy with a young family and just forgot about the nice restaurants in Preston centre. So pleased Angelos is still here. Food was spot on and lovely ambience. Waiters are always very pleasant.....definitely has an authentic Italian vibe so mannerisms can sometimes be mistaken for rudeness but they definitely are not being rude. A Preston gem thats still as good today as it was 10 years ago!!

We were a party of 6 on a Sunday evening when England were playing in the Euros. We all had the 2 course meal deal along with the customary garlic breads. The restraunt was quiet but the service was, as always quick and efficient. The food was up to its usual high standard and they even allowed us to delay the booking as the match went into extra time. An enjoyable meal and will be visiting again

I come to Angelo a lot and have never had a bad meal yet and staff very friendly and helpful.

I came here on a works outing. I really enjoyed the contadina pizza I had. It was the first time I had come to Angelo's, and I really enjoyed it. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. I'm looking forward to coming here again very soon.

We went here for a belated wedding anniversary meal. Nice restaurant with friendly staff. The food was OK, but nothing special. I think what spoilt it was the presentation and portion size. The Steak I had was swimming in sauce, very little veg + potatoes. All in all the value for money was fairly poor. Not sure I'd go back

Very disappointed with the quality of food this evening. Food was bland and tasteless, the chicken and rice in the spicy chicken dish had a texture like it was heated from frozen in a microwave. If I didn’t know better I would think I was being served a Lidl’s own ready meal! When brought up to the manager she was frustrated and angry that we did not like the food and essentially blamed us and rushed us out. Very poor service and extremely horrifying food from what a restaurant I would normally recommend without a doubt. The starters were good though

Went here yesterday for the first time for our dinner with my partner and daughter and the staff were so friendly, great service, very clean and most importantly the food was so yummy. Will definitely be going back. 👍😁

Gorgeous food!! There were 7 of us and everyone was very happy with the food. My fish cakes from the specials menu were the best I've ever had. The pizza and garlic bread was also amazing. My colleagues loved the sea bass and the fish pasta dishes. Service great. Overall, amazing!!

I had Trio of Monkfish as it was called, the ratio of the Trio was Prawn dominate... tasty, but not a described!!

I would not recommend this establishment if you want an enjoyable experience. Most of the male staff are very surly and unpleasant. They want to rush you into ordering and watch your every move. Their English speaking is limited so that may be why they have little customer service skills. The selection of food on offer is extensive but mediocre at best. The place used to be a favourite of ours because of its Italian authenticity. Now it seems very corporate with tables and chairs similar to a school dining hall and very little to suggest its Italian origins. We spent over £200 but it wasn’t worth the money and we will not be returning.

Was celebrating my partner 50th birthday with family and friends was sat right at the back , good and service we couldn’t fault but OMG the room was ABSOLUTELY HOT there was no air to breath and it wasn’t even busy so wasn’t due to amount of people in the room we did comment about it being so hot and the waiter said unfortunately they don’t have ANY air conditioning and the only air coming in was from the tiny gaps in the windows that we were not sat near . We felt we had to rush our food just saw we could get out and get some fresh air . Unfortunately it spoiled our celebrations and we will not be returning back !!!!!!!

We had a lovely meal at Angelo's Preston. We have been to this fantastic Italian restaurant once before, and the second time around, it did not disappoint. Given that it was a hectic and busy Bank Holiday Saturday night, the staff worked effortlessly in taking our order and delivering our food choices. I can thoroughly recommend the Pate de Casa and the brie starters they were delicious. The mains of Contadina pizza and pasta were equally as good. I'd recommend booking in advance as it's rightly a very popular venue.

Abysmal service and mediocre food. Servers were extremely rude and food is not worth the disgusting attitudes. One of the ladies took our order and was so offended that I asked for a custom order that she didn’t return to our table for the entire evening. Also, when I was paying, she took the machine and tapped it on my phone before I even selected the card I wanted to pay with.

Attended a hen do, food was beautiful and even though our table was booked for 5 they let us choose from their lunch menu so 3 courses for £26 . Service was on hand when we needed anything and always with a smile. Would highly recommend for any sort of event you are planning

Me and my boyfriend came for an anniversary dinner. We were seated at 7, by 7:20 we were given our starters… our drinks we ordered when we arrived still had not been brought to the table. The drinks arrived along side our main when we had not even finished our starter!! The food was lovely however we were in and out within the hour and felt very very rushed and that the staff needed us out.

This was a smallish wedding lunch. We could not fault anything- An amazing menu, delicious food and service second to none

Have reaten at Anelos many times over the years, but unfortunately the food has been sadly disappointing on the last few visits. Fridays experience was the worst, unbeatable food at inflated prices. The garlic bread needed a saw to cut through, it was thin and hard, obviously cooked on mass and left under the heat lamps, the pola creme sliced chicken was hard, as was the single sliced fried potatoes, almost as if again they were cooked on mass, reheated in the microwave, a spoonful of wet veg added and mushroom cream sauce dollops onto the plate and then served. Not what you would expect for £19.90. If ego can charge less and cook this dish to order then why can't Angela's. We were a party of 12, spending nearly £400, unfortunately we will be looking for another venue for our regular meet up.

My main meal - cannelloni came on a very hot plate ( with very hot salad ) but was only warm in the middle - clearly had not been reheated properly or freshly baked .Replacement came 5 minutes later and was exactly the same - just warm in the middle . Reheated dishes containing meat should be at least 74 degrees Celsius all the way through - not just warm. I fully understand this establishment is not a fine dining restaurant ( servers with thumbs on plates ) but would still expect my food to be served hot. Will not be returning anytime soon .

The staff were lively and very friendly, and the food was fantastic. The atmosphere of the restaurant was also very good.

Truly a five-star experience across the board. Food was excellent; service was polite, jovial, professional and attentive without being intrusive. Atmosphere was casual, relaxed and happy. I would recommend this restaurant and will be visiting again soon.

After 4 years since visiting this restaurant it is still amazing . Original food with the best of Italian ingredients. Friendly spacious comforting. Wonderful choices at unbelievable prices affordable to everyone. Great experience.

Very attentive service from staff who were all very friendly and had a good sense of humour as well. Having visited the Italian orchard before, and heard positive notes about Angelo's, I thought it made for a perfect pre valentine's day meal 💕 The restaurant itself is smart and vibrant. The garlic mushrooms starters are a must try one of the best starter dishes I've had anywhere 👌Can't wait to go back.

The food was lovely but one of waiters was very rude and totally disrespectful I don’t expect this when it’s a large group and we have paid over £350 I won’t be coming back until I’ve had an apology and the staff member has been disciplined

Me and a friend came here, we got the £25 3 course each. We had calamari fritti starter, which was wonderful, I had a pizza and he had duck a L'orange and he had the tiramisu, ans i had the lemon cheesecake for desert. The cheesecake was amazing. The pizza was lovely. Lovely atmosphere and service. Cracking staff.

Friendly staff and great food! I visited Angelos for a Christmas meal. We were a sizeable group - 34 attendees. The team really looked after us. They gave us the entire first-floor level, so we were all together, enabling good conversation and an award presentation within the group without disruption to other diners. The food was lovely, and everyone on the table was served at the same time. I can recommend the tempura king prawns and the farfalle salmon. Angelo's is part of the San Marco group, and I've enjoyed meals at San Marco and the Italian Orchard, too. Thanks to all the staff for making our event so successful! You did a great job!

The food was very delicious, they were happy to hear people from the south and they were very friendly. I loved the brie and then I ordered pasta with salmon and it was very good, I tried the cheek and it was delicious. The risotto was good too and I recommend the Italian dessert with butter.

Brilliant lively atmosphere. Excellent service and great quality food. I saved a gentleman's life tonight. He was choking to death, I performed the heimlich manoeuvre and after three attempts I managed to clear his airway.

Visited as part of a work Christmas do. All round it was fabulous the food was lovely and everyone finished their plates. Service was a little slow (we waited 25 minutes to order once receiving drinks) and those around us seemed to be served far quicker, but it was worth the wait. Waiters were incredibly charming and knowledgeable!

Clean. Staff pleasant. Only 4 tempura prawns on starter. I ordered pig cheeks for main, never had them before, very tasty, mash had no substance, really needed a spoon to eat it. Lemon cheesecake delicious.

The 2 waiters were rude, unpleasant and not attentive. Restaurant not at all busy, practically empty, but they were standing around doing nothing while we waited. They were not a good advert at all.

Visiting Preston from London. I'm half Italian and this place is as good as you'll get in England. Excellent service, friendly staff, good food and perfect portion sizes. The only thing that stopped me giving a five star rating is the price of the wine. I can get a good house red in London for less. However on the evening I visited I noticed that only a couple of other tables had ordered wine. Overall a great place to dine and I'll certainly go back when in Preston.

Came here for a girls night out. I had the belly pork to start followed by amazing smoked haddock risotto. Too full for a pudding. Staff are lovely here. Will be back soon.

We had a lovely meal , I had pate to start and my gf had the fish cake , we was both really impressed, plenty of toast with the pate , and a garlic bread with cheese ! Top notch too . Mains where very good portions and my gf had spicy chicken and rice Sandra loved it , I had the cannelloni that was off the scale with flavor and excellent presented too . The deserts well you've read this so far , all I can say is go the extra mile well worth it . Wine was nice too , also lime an soda too was perfect . Highly recommended and I will be going back

A perfect Italian restaurant with a good variety of Dishes. And big menu. for Muslim people. All the pasta is mixed meat beef with pork. So be careful.

Nice and authentic Italian food. Nice restaurant with stylish interior design (unlike others in neighbourhood). It's definitely one of the better restaurant in Preston. Service was good - but it varied from one waitress to the other - some preasional, some as as good). Nice wine selection (pricey!). Overall good, 6.8/10

Came here this evening for my daughter's birthday, chosen by her. The food was really tasty, lots of choice and reasonably priced for the portions size. We brought some home as we couldn't finish. The waiters were attentive and friendly. Great atmosphere for a Monday and I look forward to my next visit.
