Very polite quick delivery and lovely food. Highly recommend

Only had starters and took mains away, but had them at home and was all delicious! Owner/manager was the most friendly man! Would defo recommend. Just realised they also deliver to me so will making plenty of orders.

Got the Chicken Tikka Masala and the stuffed Nan and Garlic Nan...all was delicious and the Chicken was great, very tender and juicy.

Excellent service received when I used them last. One of the BEST curry houses in town. The chef sure know his stuff!!

Wow!!! My partner and I ate at The Angel Curry Centre this week. The food was excellent. You can bring your own wine/ beer which cuts the bill down considerably which is brilliant considering the cost of living. I even had lunch the next day because of the huge left overs.The waiters and chefs, they have two, Ahmed Koxes who has been there for 30 years and Nizam Uddin Ovek who has been there 22years were just lovely. Their amazing waiter gave us a full history lesson on Indian, Pakistani and Bengali relations! What a fabulous gem in Chapel Market Angel. Incandescent Sean here

Wow! We were an American group of 8, including 4 picky teens. We wanted to try some Indian food that wasn't Americanized. I don't know if this was "authentic" but I will tell you that if it's not, India should be copying their recipes. The kids even commented that the food was outstanding, and they are a tough crowd. The service was excellent. This felt like a restaurant that probably has a lot of regulars, very welcoming. I wish I could get it delivered to the US!

We're on holiday in London and even though this is a long way out of our way we are making a return visit tonight as our last visit was so good.

Food good both times ive been. But this time I believe i have food poisoning - myself and my friend both vomited after having food here. Enter at own risk.

Best curry I've ever had. Even two of our notoriously picky (American) children said it was delicious. Great service and not too expensive. If we lived in London, this would be our frequent dinner spot.

This is for me one of the best curry restaurants around, its my go to place if I want a curry. Visually the restaurant is very basic but the food is consistently good as is the service. Definitely would recommend.

absolutely great Indian food restaurant, I literally fault it. From the genuine and kind service to food, if Angel was local to me they would see my face A LOT more. I had poppadoms, sauces, onion/cucumber for my starter. Pilau rice and vegetable madras as my main & mango juice. All coming up to a total £17.55. Great restaurant.

Food is really nice, great authentic Indian food. Friendly owner and you very much get a local feeling with this place. Lamb tikka jalfrazi and Baltic’s are a solid recommendation.

I had chicken biryani, and aloo gobi. It was flavorful and not very spicy. Next time, I will ask for a much spicier version. All in all, very good. Service was excellent.

Best curry I've had on uber eats so far. Also very efficient. The only criticism I have is the chicken could have been a bit more tender.

Had a late night meal here and it did not disappoint. The food has lovely’ flavours and was good size portion. Would have been nice to be bit hotter chilli wise. Service was friendly and wanted to help us and had time for a chat.

Staff friendly and so respectful.i ordered several disheshes all amazing you can tell it just been cooked freshly on order as the meat was so soft and tender they did not under cut anything pure meat no skin or fat added.also everything fully packed on spices no holding back along with less oil cooking which makes a huge difference if your watching your weight or on a diet.these guys are definitely going to be my local regular curry takeaway with generous servings.

An excellent cozy little venue with amazing staff. The food was fantastic and really tasty with so many exciting flavours. I’ll definitely be returning again. It’s always nice to try something different. At the end of my dinner, my stomach was absolutely full.

I ordered a take away last night. The food got delivered the time they said it would. No issues and even got a free extra naan bread. We ordered from here as our usual Indian take away (hillmarton tandoori) has gone down hill. Will be ordering from here now on.

In the heart of Chapel Market this is a great place to eat the food here is delicious the atmosphere great and the staff ready friendly and helpful.it’s also bring your own wine which really cuts the cost of a night out of your on a budget you can also get delivered which is great too

Been to this gem so many times. Every time they surprise me, their quality is incredible. The restaurant has around 10 tables, nice atmosphere and friendly staff, always ready to help and recommend. I have recently visited the restaurant with friends. We started with poppadoms. Then we ordered chicken and lamb curries, with rice, chapati, 3 different types of naans and some vegetables. Everything is so delicious and tasty. They cook everything at the moment, the ingredients they use are really good. Well done, strongly recommended!

Walking through Chapel Market, we chanced upon this restaurant. It was a 'Bring your own bottle' establishment in terms of alcohol. The menu was comprehensive, and even included pakora which we did not expect to find. The food was served piping hot and everyone enjoyed their meals. The place was spotless, from the tablecloths to the toilets. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

We visited last night for a meal as it was just round the corner from our Hotel. Food was amazing we had 10 different dishes and all were of excellent quality - star of the show was the Tandoori King Prawns! Portion sizes were generous and really good value. Service was gracious and respectful and would highly recommend to anyone in the area.

Visited on a Sunday night without a booking. The restaurant is small but got a seat no problem. They don’t sell alcohol but are happy for you to bring your own and offered that I could go across the road and buy beer or wine no problem. So onto the food, I ordered the prawn puree and then lamb chop Karahi. The food was good but not outstanding and the service was good. Given there are so many restaurants around this area on reflection when I am back here for work I will probably try one of those as this restaurant did not leave such an impression that I must come back.

Great place and made us feel so welcome with no booking even though it was 9pm on New Year's Eve.. fantastic food and service was great even having a laugh and joke with us and all guests at tables singing and happy 👍Great experience.. and even better 4 starters and 4 main meals £40 wow 😳 great job guys 👍

I was on holiday in London & after 2 weeks needed comfort food. The tandoori chicken was tasty & tender. The madras lamb was creamy & spicy the way I like it.

This is a fantastic place where you can eat Indian food. I’ve been here several times. They have never served a wrong dish. Service is not the best one, they could be friendlier and maybe look at you in a different way.

Nous avons découvert ce petit restaurant par hasard, en cherchant où manger pas trop loin de notre hôtel. Accueil chaleureux, cadre agréable, carte offrant une belle variété de plats. Attention, si vous voulez consommer de l'alcool, il faut amener votre bouteille (mais ça réduit la note d'autant plus). Notre choix de plats nous a ravi, très goûtu sans être trop épicé (un problème fréquent avec la cuisine indienne). Service rapide, addition fort raisonnable. Nous y retournerons !

Food was excellent and well priced. I had no complaints at all and was discussing returning for more soon. That was until it came to paying. Our bill was cheap, 31.50 for two of us and we were nice and full. I asked to pay by card and asked to put the payment up to 35 to give a tip. The waiter looked at me and said, “Haven’t you just got cash for the tip?” I replied that I rarely carry cash and would like to just add the amount onto the card payment. I then entered the 3.50 into the gratuity section and proceeded to pay. I went to hand the device back and it was snatched from my hand to where I almost accidently pulled my card out of it. I was then told “I don’t get those tips, I can only keep tips in cash”. All of this was done in an incredibly rude manner. I paid a tip after all, and I now wish I hadn’t. I won’t be going back if that is the attitude you have towards well meaning customers. It’s a shame because we really enjoyed the food and the experience right up until the very last interaction. Have words.

After a pinte, we went to eat Indian foods. The restaurant is small but nice . Very spiced, good service.

Tres de nosotros comimos allí después buscando un lugar local del hotel nos alojábamos. La calidad y el servicio era de primera categoría, y el precio era muy razonable, teniendo en cuenta la ubicación dentro de Londres. Pedí las gambas Puri para el arranque y el pollo Balti para plato principal, y ambas eran excelentes. No sirven alcohol, pero señaló una tienda local al otro lado de la calle para comprar algo. Así que si necesitas un Cobra o cerveza Tiger para completar su curry trae su propio antes de ir, que muchas personas lo hicieron.

Quality food at a very good price. Delicious Mixed Balti Special and Garlic Rice. Not too far from Angel tube, cosy restaurant.

5 of us ate there and we all felt our curries lacked flavour. My chicken Ceylon did not taste of coconut at all. Service was OK but we were early so only one other table to serve. The price was reasonable. Menu choice very average.

Absolutely lovely staff and great affordable curries as well. It's quite a popular place for BYO as a lot of people had bottles of wine and beer when arriving.

Went to this by mistake after following instructions from a colleague while on a visit to London. Best mistake I've made for a long time. Food was excellent as was the service. Pristine white linen on tables and the price was unbelievably cheap for the quality of food in central London. Back down in London for a couple of days next week and staying in the same hotel so I intend returning to sample some more of the delightful menu.

Lamb curry and Lamb Rogan Josh with pilau rice was great!!! Wasn't happy with the Saag Aloo ... it tasted bad like it was off so I hope they read this as Saag Aloo is one of my favourite dishes.

The other day I decided to order from this restruant due to its satisfactory comments and reviews. The order arrived 1hr 15 mins after I ordered. The food arrived cold and wasnt appealing. I went back to read the reviews and realised the comments/reviews were really old.the reviews were from a few years ago. I will definitely not be ordering from here again

We randomly came across this Indian cuisine restaurant and was not disappointed.My husband and I ordered two dishes and a rice with it. Had lamb with spinach and chicken tikka masala which was super creamy and yummy. Food came fast and staff were friendly as well as attentive.Recommended to come try this place out. Reservation may be wise as it got filled up by the time we left.

Dinner before gig.It was ok, pickle tray good, pathia not v sweet & sour or hot in flavour but ok.Service good- no alcohol to be served and the waiter took the cash tip away whilst we were still sat down .Chilly evening they did try and warm the place up & I'm sure a further 30 mins it would of been warm .

Just like every second person I like to think of myself as a curry expert. Well I did live in Rusholme, Manchester in the old days!! This place was recommended to me by a bar person and they weren't wrong!!I started with paneer cooked tandoori style followed by veg Bhuna. The subtle mixture of spices made in the best I've had in recent history. Bit disappointed that the kullfi was bland but the whole meal came in around £13. Fantastic value for such high quality food.

We went here early September. The food was reasonably priced and portions were well sized. Staff were friendly and helpful. This is a BYOB restaurant and therefore you need to think ahead. We ended up going to a local overpriced minimart which meant that the benefit of the BYOB pricing were all but eradicated. The decor put me off when we first arrived but actually the food was good and I'd be tempted to go back if we found ourselves in that part of town again.

Not even joking. I've been to countless Indian places around London and Angel Curry Centre is still my favourite. Nothing fancy about this place, just authetic, amazing tasting Indian without breaking the bank, plus it's BYO which is awesome. I eat there so much that the guys remember me when I call for takeaway. If you want a quality inexpensive dinner then I highly recommend it.

excellent. almost too much trouble over my gluten free diet. food very good. came mild next time up to medium. and able to take my own wine a big plus. simple but nice white as cold as could be.

It took 30 mins between ordering and delivery. Friendly delivery guy. The food was delicious, they gave big portions and most importantly it was value for money. Would definitely recommend!
