The best fish and chips shop in the area . Friendly staff , with top quality food . My husband and me we often stop off on our way home and have large cod and chips . The portions are very large and the fish is big . Excellent value

Absolutely incredible food, I live in Stevenage and travel all the way to Enfielf for the fish and chips. Amazing quality food served and prepared by amazing owners and staff. Highly reccomended.

Highly recommend this establishment. The service is second to none. An authentic warmth for the customer, polite service and ready to cater to your request. The fish is always fresh. real succulent chips, along with a wide selection of other delights. Exceptionally clean, roomy, welcoming shop. Residents are lucky to have such an authentic fish and chip shop. Only weal link? Closed on a Sunday.

Having lived nearby to this shop for years, I returned for the first time, to not only be disappointed but to be disgusted by the attitude of both the owners and the staff and the hygiene standards. The staff were incredibly rude, not only to customers, but to local residents also. So bad in fact, the member of staff was aggressively shouting at residents as to where they could park their car (please bare in mind, this isn’t a private car park, it is a main road!!!). The owner, George, when questioned about this, was extremely rude and evasive, as was his verbally abusive wife. I’ve been to football games with less abuse being shouted than on this occasion attempting to purchase chips! The food was horrific to boot. The chips had most definitely been re-heated. God knows how long they had sat there before I had the displeasure of attempting to eat them. Dry, tasteless.....almost as if I was eating cardboard. In addition, not one hair net was seen in the store, so I was not surprised to see in excess of 6 hairs in the chips. This is in addition to food being handled with no gloves/utensils, during a pandemic. Incredible. Will not return until there is a change of ownership. Horrible staff - horrible food - unhygienic - battleground over parking with ownership believing they own a lay by - attitudes were horrible. One member of staff after the visible altercation in store was overheard (speaking in polish, like myself) on the phone calling for an “attack with weapons”. Incredible.

I can only say great things about Andrews Fish and Chips. The food was very yummy, I had the fluffiest chips and a large meaty cod with the perfect crunch. I will be returning to try other things on the menu. The staff are extremely friendly and polite which is always a plus.

I really love coming here, a lovely local family run business with kind staff and delicious food! The fish is always fresh and the best in the area.

What can I say, whether you're the first customer or the last, the chips are always sublime. I've been a customer of this shop since the 70's and I've never been disappointed

Food was ok, chip are sometimes great and other times they are average . Chicken was ok, they only have donar kebab at certain times of the week& day .

The only place I buy fish and chips. Andrew and his staff is always very friendly and with a smile on his face. He always ask about the children, they must have gone there on weekly basis when pupils at the school nearby. Is a must for my children friends who relocated to Canada when they come on holiday to London!

This isn't the closest chip shop to me, but it's the only one I visit. The food is always tasty and the staff here are always friendly and welcoming. I'll definitely be back.
