Batter was like soggy rubber cod not much better, chips were ok and the mushy peas tasted like pure tin metal. ONLY ok if you are pissef

We were over today Wednesday 28th August to drop our Grandaughters off to join their Dad and partner on Holiday.we went with 5 children and 4 adults to the anchor chippy Various food was ordered all excellent and piping hot My Wife had the cod and chips andbi had chips. As I say piping hot very good chips and fish was excellent . Staff very pleasant I would highly recommend this as worth a visit thank you

Pizza is terrible and very over priced The fish gave me food poisoning. Stay away and go somewhere down the road.

A fantastic chippy with great food at a good price. All the team here are lovely and we'll definitely be back on our next visit.

Pie chips and curry sauce. Pie burnt to a crisp and blackened pastry, dry and unpalatable. Fish chips and peas average. All the food was not hot. Waste of money would not recommend at all. Even the sausage we got for the dog was overdone and dry.

Very rude aggressive staff. Stay clear. Staff in the takeaway next door are far more pleasant and easier to deal with. Stay away.

Very friendly staff and best chips ever!!

Just had fish and chips in a large tray for £9. They gave us an extra tray so we could split it, as you can see after halfing it there's plenty for 2. The chips were fresh and very tasty the batter on the fish was light and crispy and a golden brown. The fish it self was soft and melt in your mouth and full of flavour. I would more then recommend coming here if you came to skegness (skeg Vegas). Lovely friendly staff.

We came here for food on a day trip the owner made me and the wife a lovely cup of tea to go with our food , also tried one of the fish cakes was amazing , shall be back here for food on our yearly holiday to ingoldmells

The food was horrendous. The battered sausage was rock hard, the small normal Sausage my son had was rock hard and the chips were solid. Very poor experience.

New owner has taken over this weekend. I had a nice hot and very tasty fish and peas served by a very friendly couple of guys. Will be back soon!

First time trying chippy since being under new owners. The food was reasonably priced and very nice. Given 5 stars because fish had no skin on which we love and was very tasty. Staff were welcoming, very big improvement from previous owners.

Popped in to the chippy on a flying visit to ingoldmells, we had 3 small portions of chips and one large portion. Got home an hour later and we all felt bad, so much so I was sick 3 times and had bad diarrhoea. The rest of the party all felt I’ll!! Will not use this place ever again!!!

Doner meat was grisly, seemed old and wasnt nice at all. chips were really nice thougj. pizza was really bad, undercooked underneath, hardly any sauce and was chewy,/bland. chicken was also dry. Spent £30 and we both just ended up eating the chips

This has the best chicken kebab I've ever had! Wish I knew how they make it. Had a chicken kebab wrap 3 times excellent value for money.

Over priced and made my whole family feel ill within a few hrs do not reccomened - edit we all had somthing with chips and all felt sick.

Decent chippy, foods always good. But find the portion sizes a little small for the price payed. Always busy but the wait isn't long at all as the service is quick and efficient

Chips was full of oil to the point were when you wipe your hands the tissue was orange, fish wasn't great. Wouldn't recommend.

Food wasn't the best, but this was the only chipshop open around 8pm. Kebab was cold, nuggets wasn't best. Shop was quite busy and bit slow serving people.

Left side chippy... right side pizza. I had pizza. Lots of hassle conveying my order and they still missed a pizza off that i had paid for. When i returned to complain they fixed the order but diddnt want to talk to me even to say sorry. For this reason i downgrade to 2 stars .... regrettably because the pizza really was nice.

I think the only reason this place is so busy is the location near all the sites. Had fish n chips one night and also a kebab on another night to give it the benefit of the doubt. We had the pleasure of waiting 20 minutes for the kebab and even then it wasnt fresh. Old meat sat in the tray with just an offering of a bit of onion and sauce. Not tasty at all. Not one customer had masks on which the establishment has a responsibility to encourage so won't be returning.

The one reason we look forward to our annual trip to Ingoldmells! Fish is simply beautiful, chips perfect. Staff always polite and have a chat if they have time. Can't wait until August.

Had 1 pork dinner and 1 beef dinner best meal I've had on my stay in ingomells, refreshing change from everything with chips, partner had the bread and butter pudding too and finished the lot ,will be back to try a breakfast in the morning.

Top scoring kitchen for hygiene, have an autistic son who insists on checking and won't eat anywhere less than 5 stars for hygiene. Very tasty fish and chips, if a little pricy!

Brilliant breakfast, 5* hygiene, great value, fast service, good food. Lenny (young lad) was v polite. Colleen the manager was lovely and v professional. Nothing too much trouble. Will visit again.

1st instant you wailk in thinking your in a night club cant even hear the staff serving. women in the back arguing swearing about having to put 2 more fishcackes on and get my order home to find the discusting chips i wouldnt feed to my dog Avoid at all costs dont waste your money And yes i have the correct chippy bloke in the front with cuts allover his arms And a women in the back with datk hear Discrace So dont even dare to try and say i have the wrong chippy 🤢🤮

This is definitely the better chippy out of the 2 (Frydays I'd never go there again) however the kebab meat wasn't the best and the garlic pizza bread seemed microwaved. Fish was cooked nicely and the chips are delicious so I would go back if I visit ingoldmells again for the fish.

just paid 15£ for fish and chips and peas x2 got to b the worst i ever had,so much brown grease when i unwrapped it i thought it was wrong order and they had put gravy on by mistake,what a waste of good money. cos it went in bin, first meal had in skegg,if they all going to be like that then get me home🙈,well robbed 👎

Visited this cheap shop on the 12 of June tea time my wife ordered 2 cod and cheap to go we were the only one in the chip shop they only put one fish in fryer so when realised they had to cook another one the bit of cod was delicious but the batter undneath was white and sloppy needed cooking slower to get underneath batter spoilt a good meal

It just really good food good value for money

Ordered fish and chips with fish bits and gravy which was OK although small portion of chips and no fish bits, and their "homemade chicken curry and chips" for £4.40 which is just a small chips with small carton of curry sauce, absolute rip off with no chicken in it at all, and all for just under £12.

Rank even the dog wouldn't eat it and so greedy its unbelievable

Food ok staff ignorant got no manners

Rude staff and bad food! The managers were very rude when I requested a batter sausage as a side with my fish and chips. So much so that I decided I didn't want to have the side order. We then had to wait a while for our food to arrive. The fish was over cook and dry. The portions was quite small compared to other good fish and chip places

Small portions and a big price. We had COD & chips. Batter was overcooked and there was hardly any COD inside. Chips were ok.
