Ordered online Christmas eve. As a vegetarian I like the option of paneer dishes as I find vegetable curry can be a bit disappointing. Had the paneer sambar it was really good. Kids had the usual chicken korma and said it was nice. We ordered online Christmas eve and the food was ready on time and lovely and hot. Last time I ordered from here over a year ago it wasn't as good not sure if they have a new chef but I would definitely recommend. We picked our order up I think a lot of reviews criticise the delivery but businesses are struggling to keep up with demand nowdays so I always go for pickup.

Waited over 2 and a half hours for a delivery which said it would take 50 minutes. Numerous phone calls with the restaurant and was told lots of lies. Food finally arrived cold and missing can of coke. Had paid via the app and the driver had a note to say we needed to pay cash on arrival. Don’t bother!

The bhuna and biryiani were okay, but the samba was awful. I always get samba which is made from lentils. No lentils in the dish tonight. It was a weird red colour, it was very sour and can tell it was made from tomatoes instead. Really disappointing when you’re looking forward to your food.

Amazing food, no complaints. The service was outstanding I do believe in the potential this takeaway has, it’s absolutely lovely, definitely worth the price for what you get! The garlic naan and Lamb vindaloo combination was the best in my opinion.

First time coming here, thought we could try somewhere different and was not disappointed at all. Greeted straight away, took the order after the chef making a recommendation to us from the menu. Didn't wait long for the food at all. Food was fresh hot and tasted great. Good prices Would recommend coming here Will be coming back soon for sure!

I always thought there is nothing worse than poor food, but I was wrong, poor food and being ripped off on cost is far worse I ordered: Chicken Rogan Josh (£7.50) chips (£2.50) Pilau Rice (£2.25) 4 x Plain popadom (80p each) 2 x chutney trays (£2 each) Total £19.45 but charged £21 £1.55 more but if they over charge every customer, that is a huge scam they are operating, and you have to pay cash, which always makes me uneasy in this day in age. Makes me feel like it is a tax fiddle. Peanuts for cash card machines now days. Overcharging customers anyway, so that is the cost covered. Now for the food review. The chips were inedible, as they have been recooked (I guess 3 times, they are that bad), poppadom’s are the size, of poppadom’s you buy in a supermarket, not the size of any other Indian take away I have ever seen. The curry itself, is so bad I don’t know where to start. I have never ever seen a two tone curry before. A Rogan Josh always has onions and peppers in it, see the picture for proof how poor it was. Also where are the plum tomatoes as advertised, the chicken was cheap processed chicken, not Chicken off a bone, from an actual chicken. I also asked for vindaloo hot, not a chilli in sight. The chutney trays are nice, hence the 1 star The arrogance demonstrated by the takeaway when I called back is even more insulting. I raised how poor it was, and the restaurants response was ‘well don’t eat it then’. No offer of a refund if i return it. And didn’t even apologise for over charging when I asked how / why! Honestly, please do not make my mistake. £21 was what I was charged, and it isn’t even worth the true price of £19.45. honestly, I’d advise getting a supermarket frozen curry for a 10th of this price, better quality with actual chicken in it. Don’t waste your time and please don’t waste your cash

No words can describe just how bad the whole experience was. Ordered on their website for when they opened, no confirmation of order received so rang to be told they had only just seen my order and it was MY fault for not chasing up sooner. Woman on the phone (which I later found out was the owner!) no customer service whatsoever, real bad attitude and even put the phone down on me! Phoned back to cancel my order to be spoken to the same by a male worker. Asked about when I would get my refund to be told me £40 was ‘nothing to them’ which is ironic cos I never got my refund and had to claim through my bank… judging by other reviews might be a blessing really as the food doesn’t sound great. Shame cos the one before was lovely

Quite poor in terms of quality. Chicken dish ok (just) and lamb none existent. Much better places close by. Seen a few poor reviews about this place. They could really improve if they tried

Once again they have not let us down, As always getting our order incorrect. Plus the attitude from a male was awful. Should not treat customers in that manner

One word EXCELLENT ! Restaurant quality takeaway. We had king prawn chat ,chicken chat and onion bhaji. All spot on. Best indian food in area

If you love your Indian quisine ,you must visit the Anarkali Deyes lane Maghull, this evening I ordered the king prawn Chilli Chingri,and I can tell you the sauce itself is mouth watering and the prawns are massive and have a great flavour. "Go on"treat yourself to a fantastic Indian experience, I promise you ,you will not be disappointed. I have been visiting this takeaway for many years and never had any complaints, the staff are everso pleasant and helpful, and the price is very reasonable. Thank you all especially the main man Haz.

Simply the best Indian takeaway by far, put the Anarkali on your bucket list, truly wonderful food 😋

Once again I am compelled to put my thoughts in writing This takeaway establishment is a "must visit" you will not be disappointed, their food is exceptional great portion size at a very reasonable cost. You will be greeted by a lovely bubbly host who is very knowledgeable of their menu. And can advise you on your selection from the menu, you definitely get service with a smile.

Amazing food, service is amazing and the staff are so helpful and friendly which makes it even better. Definitely will be back Anarkali!!

Don't ordering from here waited over 2 hours to be told the driver couldn't find the house. We never got our food after ordering at 7.37 it was 10.10 when we got through don't take the gamble order from elsewhere.

Amazing food. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful when deciding what to order. Food was piping hot. Highly recommend the Shalima Chicken and Naga Chicken. So fresh! Need more Indian takeaways like this one.

Very disappointed. First and last time. Undercooked onion bhajis. Strangely undercooked and spiceless chicken tikka. Not delivered in heat retaining containers. Not delivered at requested time . Will not be recommending to anyone.
