I paid £18 for a tea and a plain coffee and two cheese and ham toastes. I was shocked at the price. Most definitely not recommended

The AMT team at Norwich train station are always super helpful and patient with all their customers. The prices are a bit expensive but their hot chocolate is simply excellent!

Always a pleasure to come here with my 2 friends. Delicious food and drink available with a smile. One of my friends uses a wheelchair and this place is accessible and friendly. We've been served by Alex 2 or 3 times now, who is polite and friendly and never reacts negatively if people get frustrated with him. I've seen him keep his calm when spoken to in such a rude manner that he must be tempted to react in kind. He also makes a lovely cup of tea!

Edited: underneath This place is usually pretty good if you don't want to support a larger coffee chain like Starbucks or Costa. I have been there before for peppermint teas, their pastries are also okay. The service is usually good and quick if you need to catch a train. This morning however, I went in to grab some hot water, and the guy at the counter just filled my thermos from the standard hot water tap. He said it was the hottest water they had. I would understand if there was a policy of not giving out hot water as other places have done that. If you have that policy just say. Don't fill up a thermos with obviously not boiling water to make a tea. It wastes everyone's time. I went in the next day after having written the review, and asked the same person who made me the water debacle. They made me my tea with boiling water. They apologised, and took responsibility for the mistake. It is good to see a place respond to criticism and improve service and standards. It is great to see that they listen.

I always nip in here for a coffee and snack before the train. My favourite cafe in the station

£4.00 for the tiniest hot chocolate you can imagine, it was nice but certainly not worth the cost.

Been in the UK for a week. Had coffee all over the place and this is best caramel Latte I've had so far. And the service by Alex was great.

Alex served me and he was very polite, informative, and friendly. I ordered a small latte and there was a lot of room in the cup for more coffee which I found a little bit stingy considering it cost £3.90, but it was decent and what I needed at the time.

Swift and friendly service by staff that seem to be trained to craft coffee rather than smashing it out and throwing it the way of the customer!! Great coffee and certainly a better alternative to the next door Mega Chains.

Ouch £3.10 for a cup of green tea, it’s not even a decent type of organic green tea. I suppose it’s competitive with Starbucks and Costa but I wouldn’t know because I’d rather go without than get a cuppa from either of those brands at Norwich station.

It’s as if the baristas are told to make your drinks as slow as possible. Management need to step in and give the staff some training. Consistently terrible service

The cinnamon vanilla frappe is absolutely delicious and the barista (Rachel) is a delight! Very friendly and efficient- Highly recommend :)

No pastries left @ 15:10! Staff member spoke in monosyllabic and was the opposite of welcoming, he walked past a waiting customer, twice, to continue emptying the chiller of sandwiches leaving even less food available for customers 🤷

No complaints about the service but I paid over £4.00 for a mocha that was no better than flavourless warm brown water. Up there with the worst coffee experiences ever.

Dismal cup of coffee served by an ill natured and rude ‘barista’ I left it largely undrunk and abandoned any desire I had to sample the food. A really poor experience.

So expensive for an Americano which was little more than dishwater, won't be back even if desperate!

Stopped for a takeaway coffee this morning. The lad serving ignored us for 5 minutes before eventually coming to the till, miserable and rude from the get go. Asked for a coffee sleeve and he threw one on the counter, asked for sugar “round the corner” first time visiting this coffee shop will not be going back

Hazelnut flat white in general is great! Often stop here before catching the train. Only criticisms: no gluten free options, unclear (and staff were unclear) if oat milk or hot chocolate are gluten free. Other than that, it’s a good pit stop before getting on the train. Staff here are lovely.

I always go to AMT when at Norwich station (in preference to Starbucks and the like). I'll think again before returning. I've rarely been served by anyone less interested in customer service. On arrival, the barista neither looked up nor acknowledged me, preferring to fiddle with a roll of paper towels instead. Eventually, I ordered a large white Americano. He got the size right at his second guess but couldn't even be bothered to check about milk, just leaving a black coffee on the counter. After requesting milk he then squeezed a small dash in so that the cup was brimming over when the lid was added. All of this conducted with more grunts than actual words - he is clearly in the wrong job. I am used to baristas forgetting details of orders (easily done when making 100s of coffees a day, no doubt ). If they do forget it's normal to ask in a polite or friendly manner.

Had a lovely vegan sausage roll was served by Rachael. She was so friendly and helpful. Will come back again 👍🏻

I travel to Norwich twice a week and ATM coffee is the best place to go and sit down or even takeaway a coffee or bite to eat, staff are always friendly definitely recommended 😊

Brilliant coffee & staff, please use this shop, the Landlord has been terrible bringing in Costa & Starbucks next to them, just one other was enough. Now in the morning rush AMT have only one very overworked staff member while Costa have 3 staff & a loyalty scheme - where will people choose when they have 7 mins left to catch a train ? Go figure. I can’t see AMT running this on all because of the greed of a landlord not caring for their tenants who have paid rent for decades.

Always used AMT Coffee when popping to London due to their ethos. Very disappointed to learn this morning that they're now charging 50p(!) for a splash of Soya milk instead of milk in a take away tea. Surely with your principles a non-dairy alternative should be encouraged! Shame on you. Well you lost out on both the 50p and the sale today as well as future business.

Expensive coffee served in paper cups, in a freezing cold environment with the door wide open. The waiting room has more atmosphere. There are no china mugs, because there is no room for a dishwasher!!! Never again for me.

Won't be back. The woman serving this morning was very rude. Insisted a flat white was the same thing as a latte. Argued with me when I said this wrong. The other coffee shops had queues, AMT didn't! I know why now! Rude and knows nothing about coffee!

the man who works behind the counter can't make a drink to save his life! extremely poor service, terrible attitude, no people skills there and shouting at us customers like we're gum on the bottom of his shoe to collect our drinks serviced with a disgusted look. loosing customers left right and centre.

Before Christmas my partner and I ordered two hot chocolates with cream- there were two gentlemen behind the counter, one training the other, but when we got onto our train we realised that both drinks were lumpy, poorly mixed messes, and one of the drinks had no cream and was barely half full.

I have never been served by a more miserable, uninterested, rude man. Awful service and coffee. I asked for an americano with hot milk but he put cold in it. I then asked for hot milk again so he tipped half the contents out and filled it with hot which made it so weak. He dumped it on the counter but it tasted awful so i asked for a fresh one which he begrudgingly made. In the meantime another customer came in and he made him feel so unwelcome he told him to forget it and went next door to Costa I will never go in there again. Customer service skills.....he doesn't know the meaning

It is outrageous that AMT have started charging 50pence for oat milk. This action is profiteering and not at all environmentally friendly. Bovine milk causes 3 times a much greenhouse gas , uses 10 times as much land and up to twenty times as much freshwater. (Source: ourworldindata)

On more than one occasion, the toaster has been "off" or "just been cleaned" at least an hour before closing so no hot food can be ordered, or so says the staff member who doesn't bother looking up from their phone to grunt this at you. With a Costa next door, I assume this coffee chain will be out of business soon - especially when their own staff stop serving long before closing time!

Avoid. Their coffee machine must be broken - £3.30 for a cup of brown water.

Just stopped for a flat white and pain au raison. Asked if pain fresh “oh yes “ I’m told baked in the last hour. But when you bite into it soggy!!! Thanks money back but that’s not what I wanted. Never mind Costa next door!

Def the worst cappochino ever. Mix of hot milk and water with chocolate on top. No coffee taste at all. Came from a hot flask rather than being made. If Costa or Starbucks are shut them dont bother!

Didn't buy food hence no rating. For a station cafe this is good for waiting in. Power for laptops so you can work. Lewis served me and was very pleasant.
