A great little shop selling local and Welsh cheese, chocolate and other yummy food. We only visited the deli to tank up our coffee flasks - I didn't dare look at the wine! Very friendly and welcoming.

Thought it was a pub that served a general selection of food. Not being local we didn't know it is a Nepalese curry house. And serves nothing but spicy food. Unfortunate as we were both hungry.

The cafe was very spacious inside with beautifully covered chairs in a lovely fabric. We waited for 10 minutes before anybody came out the back(we had just decided to leave) when the young lad appeared!! He had no idea what soup of the day was or what meat was in the cawl!!(surely as front of house that is the first question you ask when you start your shift!!). We ordered a pate and a sandwich and 2 teas. The teacups were badly stained and our tea was nearly cold before our meals came. My husband said his sandwich was nice but my pate was crumbly, tasteless and full of fat lumps, it wouldn't spread on the toast because it was in clumps!! The staff were serving other customers while eating salad baguettes and chatting together loudly forgetting they had customers to serve! On the bright side of our visit the bathroom/toilet area was spotless and clean!!

coffee was served promptly and there were only a few people in the restaurant. We had not intended to spend a long time in the restaurant. We drank our coffees waiting for a jacket potato and a sandwich. After 3/4 of an hour we asked how long our food would be as no one was served in the interim and people had left. After an hour we decided to ask for a refund and leave but our food arrived immediately. My sandwich, cheese and chutney was only cheese. If it contained chutney it had been scraped off again. I asked for chutney and was given not our chutney but caramelised onions. For an hours wait it was very poor. When my husband complained the lady who had produced the food smiled but took no notice. We met another lady who had eaten there as we had all been laughing together in the restaurant at the waits. She said she had noticed those responsible for the food walking back an too, to the shop across the road. Very poor.

Just had the best Welsh cakes ever. Cooked to order 👌they come with jam and butter, but better on their own. I ordered a superb Macchiato coffee too. Will definitely head straight for this place again, next time I'm in Llanrwst.

Found this place walking around Llanrwst on a recent family break. I’d happily say it’s one of the best places we have stopped for food in. Our kids had sausage sandwiches- which where delicious! My husband had a sausage and bacon sandwich and myself a salmon and avocado bagel. The food was spot on, perfect for what we wanted! The service we received couldn’t have been any better- the waitress welcomed us in, in such a warm friendly manor, she took our order when we where ready and then offered our kids colouring books and crayons which kept them entertained. All girls having a laugh together in the back but getting work done which is hard to find in businesses. If you’re passing Llanrwst I would definitely recommend popping in- you won’t be disappointed. We will be back.

We were passing through Llanrwst and spotted the lovely large window with nicely decorated seating and decided to park up, fortunately there is also free parking a short walk away. Service with a smile, we had a flat white and a latte and both had sausage butties which were amazing. Definitely would go to this lovely clean café again if we pass through in the future.

Drove from Conwy castle as was recommended this place from a friend. Arrived to almost empty cafe, staff eating lunch, were told take a seat and menu off the bar and will be with you shortly. All fine. Staff finished lunch, washed up, chatted with other staff, we sat there 10-15 mins and didn’t come over. Looking at staff to indicate we were ready, no acknowledgment. Got up and left. Never been treated so badly anywhere, blatantly didn’t want our custom and won’t be getting it again. Should have stayed on Conwy.

The colour and design of the furniture attracted my friend and myself to this small cafe. The brightness of the chair fabric caught our attention as we were walking through Llanrwst. Although small the menu had a fair selection of items for snacks and light meals, as well as drinks. We only wanted coffee which we ordered at the counter and then was brought to our table when ready. The "trinci" coffee was very good and a reasonable price. It was a very busy place and had a lovely ambience with delightful music being played softly in the background. Although it was on a busy road the glazing blocked out all traffic noise. The decor was very modern and when we enquired we were told it was from Ikea. The cafe was clean, as was the modern single use toilet with a separate baby-changing section on entry to the toilet area. The white walls made the whole place bright and well maintained.

Went there for breakfast yesterday. When I asked if they had croissants, I was told they would go over to the shop for them. I asked for 2 plain and one chocolate, to be told they didn't have chocolate croissants, so I had a plain instead. It was nice enough. Whilst eating it, I became aware of conspiratorial whispers on the next table where a couple were chatting to the owners and ordering their breakfast and mentions of 'chocolate' and 'croissants'. When I went to the counter to pay, I saw 2 chocolate croissants sitting on plates waiting to be served. I expressed my surprise that they had chocolatey versions and the chap behind the counter said 'oh, I didn't know before I went to the shop'. (You could have brought one back to see if I still wanted one?) Very, very poor service, with additional rudeness deductions for so blatantly offering differential products because I wasn't in the gang. I won't be going back. And even worse, as a Welsh girl living in England I spend a lot of energy denying that sort of thing happens. I can't argue with it anymore.

I stopped here on my day off for a change of scenery as I moved to the area a little under a year ago and I hadn’t yet tried the cafe. I had a soya latte and I agree with previous comments that the coffee didn’t have a strong taste (although I did have decaf and I will ask for two shots next time) I also had the granola with soya milk, I was expecting a bowl with the milk on the side but it was served in a tall glass with a delicious compote and was simply delicious. The food from the kitchen smelt divine and I will definitely be a regular returning customer. I really enjoyed the quiet and chilled out atmosphere and the service was friendly and inviting. I definitely recommend this lovely little cafe to those wanting to escape the usual hustle and bustle of high street cafes!

We've driven past Amser Da so many times and said we must pay a visit, well this weekend we finally did, and we're sorry we've left it so long to try this exceptional bistro/cafe. The food is typical bistro style, but with something extra - Welsh bacon, Perl Wen cheese and fresh pesto on my flatbread made a delicious lunch. It won't be long before we go back. And the chap behind the counter was very patient and allowed us to practice our Welsh !

You can have a bacon sandwich, sausage sandwich or even a fried egg sandwich....but heaven forbid you ask for a combination of the above and they can't cope....nope you can't have a bacon and sausage sandwich as it's not on the menu... Saying that though the food, bacon sandwich in my case, was very good.

Popped in for coffee in the morning and was met with the best welcome. The coffee was fab, rich and strong. So we returned for the tapas in the evening. What a great idea to mix your tapas with different wines within the same menu. 5 food rating, the best of service and a newly refurbed restaurant that is vibrant and fresh. Excellent tapas, best lobscousse and fine wines. And the best thing is that the owners care so very much about what they do. Go...you'll love it too.

Looking for somewhere for a quick bite in Llanrwst and this seemed the only place open. Lucky us! Lattes were lovely and the flatbread sandwiches with salad (I had hummus and cheese, partner had cheese and ham) were delicious. What really made it a great experience though was the lovely friendly service. Will certainly be back whenever we're in Llanrwst.

I was so looking forward to visiting this cafe but it was a huge disappointment. We ordered mature cheese and chutney flat bread sandwiches and hot chocolate. It took at least half an hour for it to arrive and they weren't that busy. For a place which is related to the great deli across the road, the cheese was pretty tasteless to be honest! The flat bread was horrible. A real disappointment!

I had a lovely brekkie here, it was awesome, 2 lovely ladies working here are lots of fun and nothing is too much trouble, since the high street has many places closing down, there is a distinct lack of cafes for a good breakfast, so this is a great place to get what you want, i will be back here when im working or playing in the bay,,,,, thanks . .. ,,

First time customers at The Harp as were in Abergele. I krdered fish pie of the specials board and the wife had a sandwich and a portion of chips. Wow, the fish pie was the best I have ever had, just sublimine. The wife's freshly made sandwich looked fabulous and she said it was delicious, then the chips, another wow. Proper real home made chips cooked to perfection. I can be fussy with pub and restaurant food, usually due to it being rubbish that is overly expensive and not home cooked. The Harps food was exceptional, so good in fact we booked a table for next weekend as we need to be in Abergele again. Staff were very good, service was very good and the food stolen the show. A very pleasant change.

Beautiful spot. Free entry to this pretty water garden where you can see otters at play and enjoy walks lakeside. If you visit in the spring you will be surrounded by the magnificent colours of rhododendrons that flank the lakes from ground to sky. Enjoy the golden carp in the pond by the famous Dutch Pancake shop whilst taking in some refreshments. A real little jewel in the Conwy valley.

A very underwhelming visit! Service was great, loads of staff, possibly too many but still, all were happy and helpful and very engaging yet not in your face! Restaurant/cafe itself is well decorated and presented, clean and tidy and actually looks quite good, as we entered I had higher expectations given the staff welcome and look of the place. The food was actually quite basic and didn't seem to fit the venue if that makes sense. 3 meals ordered, a kids cheese sandwhich, a prawn sandwhich and a bacon cheeseburger. The sandwiches were very basic, just regular sliced bread bit plenty of filing, the kids meal coming as just a sarnie and crisps....so not really a meal I guess. The burger was nice but seemed a bit dry but only just. We had chunky chips with the burger....not a good idea. As they were chunky, they were not cooked through and were marginally undercooked. You could tell the food was frozen too! We ordered 3 drinks, 1 earl grey and 2 milkshakes, given the presentation of the site we thought maybe a shake would have been something quite thick with cream and sauce etc but no....it was just milk and flavour....akin to a nesquick. Overall, underwhelming but not a bad place. If there was improvement in food I'd definately visit again!
