Amorino Chelsea in Kensington and Chelsea

The ice cream was perfectly nice. What lets this place down is the service. They accept far more orders than they can handle, especially with all the McDonalds-style touchscreen ordering. On a hot day, the waits are insane. I had to hang around a good 25 minutes for my cones. Just two assistants working none too swiftly and a queue of over 20.

Very unfriendly, unfair and unprofessional duty manager who happened to be attending us on April 30 @5pm. Shame as this experience is well below par relative to other Amorino branches. We have been there multiple times and we never had such an unpleasant experience.

The ice cream salesman tried to put into my cone what looked like leftovers of the ice cream smeared on the tray. I stopped him and asked to leave those bits and take a fresh ice cream a bit further from the container. He refused saying they are not allowed to do so as it ruins the display. Amarino should probably think of a better way of serving their product but I am not paying to eat a leftovers of an ice cream which look unappetising, stirred with a spoon of a salesman several times and smeared all over the container. Makes me wonder whether Amorino produces fresh ice cream everyday, like all the proper gelaterias or resells the leftovers?

Lots of choice of flavours, reasonably priced, beautifully presented, lovely staff. Recommended, and would happily visit again.

Been waiting 20 mins for 2 scoops of ice cream! This place is a joke! The 2 workers in here don’t know what their doing, ones preparing some chocolate buckets on the side and the other barely knows how to scoop. Avoid this place. The employees are taking the mick

We thought to stop by at your shop at around 1800 and get some gelato as we like your products, so it wasn’t our first time! But the first one in that store. Not only you need to re-train your supervisor in good manner but you probably need to put her away from front house and as far as possible from costumers! Rude, incompetent and useless…and I am being nice here! Shouted at us because when queueing, she was busy making crepes for two customers and wasn’t happy that we did not hold the queue as we had people behind us waiting to order also…So, we advanced to order! We told her that we couldn’t pay at the till before ordering as she was serving people and she did not acknowledge us...she told us that she can’t do two things at the same time with a rude tone! Usually when the person serving ice cream at the counter is free and looks at you, that means “how can I help?” Or “ what is your order?” Not our fault if the person at the till is not doing their job! No need to name and shame your supervisor publicly, but get your house in order if you want your costumers to return

You pay £4.50 for a small cone you expect a much better quality.....why should i be overcharged to paying your rent for a poor quality icecream. Even the cone itself was poor...

Rude staff, horrible ice cream, small portions, no social distancing. Don’t bother, please go elsewhere.

I don't usually go to this place as the cones are tiny and was always afraid the ice cream would fall out, however they were the first to re-open during the corona-virus lock down and husband and I made an exception. I asked the staff to give me a bigger cone, I explained them my worry. They said they cannot and that it never falls out. We went back 3 times the same week and the third time my husband's ice almost fell out but he stopped it with his hand. We were very careful eating it. When I went back for the 4th time, I got my ice cream and it fell out of the cone only a few meters from the shop. I was extremely upset. They use these tiny cones and pile all the ice cream into/around them. Check pictures on the internet, the ice is not in the cone. I went back to the shop to complain but the assistants weren't very interested, probably they are low paid zero customer service skilled staff, and they said that it's the rule, they cannot do anything. I wasn't offered any recompense. I will not be having ice cream at Amorino again. Luckily Ice Cream Union, my regular ice cream shop around the corner, re-opened just 2 weeks later and I now resolved to go to them all the time. Their ice is fab and portions are bigger too. They use normal size cones, no danger of losing expensive ice cream.

The gelato tastes amazing, and also has a really nice cosy atmosphere, with comfy seating too. If you get a cone, the gelato is formed into a flower shape, which is really nice, and shows the passion put into making it, which makes it taste better. A bit expensive, but good for special treats.

So this place rocks....... the gelato(i) are incredible and so beautifully presented with lovely service. Raspberry sorbet is exquisite.

Wished I could go each day for my treat of high quality gelato. They even feature a gelato burger having a chocolate croissant and macarons filled with gelato. Very creative and beautifully presented cones and cups scooping the gelato (or sorbet options) in a rose flowered design.

I ordered and received my delicious ice cream but was taken aback when the guy in front of me gave the server his request for the flavours and I noticed the scowl on the servers face. The guy noticed it as well and said to me, 'Did you see that?'. He was not rude in any way and was obviously as shocked as I was. Her colleague who was serving me said they were very busy and she was tired. The rest of the staff were all okay, normal service. The guy who was being served was quite upset and hopefully I managed to diffuse the situation. The weather is improving so busy will be the norm. Please look at improving customer service.

Attempted to buy ice cream from the Kings Road branch in Amorino today about an hour ago this afternoon (Saturday 30th March). Queued for ages in the heat, and then at the counter they said they didn't take card. This is ridiculous and unfair for those who don't have a card, are awaiting a new one (me), or who simply don't want to use card due to fraud fears. I don't know why they won't accept cash - I had exact change so it can't be an issue of them not wanting a float. But what really showed their disdain for customers was the fact that there was no sign warning people of this, nor did any of the staff say so verbally. So you queue for ages in a crowded hot room...and only find out after queuing. The guy at the counter just shrugged when I pointed this out, no apology. I suppose because they are so popular, they can afford not to care about treating their customers with respect.

The best ice cream in London, the vanilla is full of flavor and I love how they make it look like a flower. They have really good hot chocolate to choose from as well. Very nice place and very friendly staff.

Delicious ice cream, and put into an amazing flower design. It’s also reasonably priced, especially for London and the Chelsea area. Would definitely recommend.
