American Fried Chicken in Leicester

Rubbish food .I never eat such kind of burger and chips in my life. Chips are very hard just like a stones.I buy 2 meals of burger .One veg and another is non veg .Both are rubbish.

Most of these reviews are low, But I’ve ordered a couple time before from AFC and had zero issues with them, Online or walking in, The food is perfect there chicken is amazing definitely recommend trying.

I regularly order and the food is nice, hot and delivered on time.

Some of the staff are very rude and some are very pleasant, the manger should observe the staff that are rude and retrain them as they are potentially hurting the bussiness. After speaking to the owner, he has turned my review around of this establishment. The food is good here and its a shame that the attitude of some of the staff is letting the bussiness down.

Waited nearly 2 hours for food to come only to arrive cold and stale wings are the only good thing

If I could rate it zero I would. Avoid at all costs food still hasnt arrived and waiting over an hour to arrive whilst we live down the road from the place, burgers, chips and kebabs shouldn't take that long under no circumstances. Absolutely abysmal. Ordered at 7 and 2 hours later no show of food. Told would arrive between 19.50 and 20.10 and at 20.25 told driver on the way now 20.50 and no show of food. Absolutely gone downhill. Ordered from here before and never had a problem but this is disappointing. I would avoid at all costs.

Soggy, stone cold chips and a cold burger with brown lettuce and barely any salad. Took over 1 hour just for this to be delivered from down the road. Absolutely minging.

Had from these before and it was ok. I ordered at 6-5 delivered at 7.40! The meal was delivered warm and soggy. Probably they were busy but it was poor.

The worst kebab I have ever had in Leicester tasted horrible. The food presentation was minus zero. Horrible customer service. Salty chicken wings. The longest delivery time, I had to wait for 1 hour. The food was cold, and the naan was hard as a rock. Some items were in my order. Very disappointed.

I have not enjoyed this place because I had got some Donna and chips that were £4.00 and had no taste it had made me throw up 3 times because it was that horrible I also want to say is that the workers do nothing they look like they don’t work there they dident give us any sauces as I asked but they still didn’t give me. I have also realised why have I spent so Much on horrible food like that is I want to spend it I would rather spend it on something good not horrible like this .I thought to my self 2 weeks ago have I actually had something disgusting. But I said no I haven’t so then today I had AFC then I did realise that I have had the worst food ever in my entire life what I have realised today was that if they rip us of like that they can fix the brown barrier and get chairs I have u guys realised that every shop that sells oily food has chairs in binley mega chippy has chairs. Don’t ever go there you guys they rip you guys off I had also given some to my sister and she threw aswell 2 times so I give this rating a 1 star rating even if I could I could’ve but none of could.

I have been ordering from AFC for years and never had any problems. However, that changed dramatically over the last few months. Last month after ordering two pizzas from AFC I got food posioning, that completely destroyed any hope of me going back there. Also, the price increase is ridiculous and the food is nowhere near as good as it was before. It is definitely not worth it. Don't order from this place.

New management is amazing very friendly and great food using them for over 20 years and must say this team is the best so far

Supper duper pizza and a magical cheep price 2X 15 " yes 15” pizza S and the ingredients are supper fresh The delivery driver is fantastic too delivered fast and with a smile :) Your doing well from №10 :)

Literally only took about 20 mins. Ordered about 11pm, was here by 20 past. Burger and chips were hot, drinks and cheesecake were cold. Spot on. Would deffo recommend.

They take the order & say it’s fine (dietary issues require specific order), keep you waiting 25 minutes as they say they are cooking it specifically for you, only to give you completely the opposite what you have ordered & paid for! Extremely arrogant staff who don’t care & have no customer service skills whatsoever! No wonder the other branches closed down if this is the way they speak to customers. If there was competition down Saffron Lane for southern fried chicken then this place would have gone under years ago! Spend your money elsewhere as the chicken was the only saving grace as everything else on the menu I wouldn’t feed animals with. This will be the last time we use them & will drive to outlets that do actually care about the customers and the food they serve up.

If i could put no stars i would appaling we waited 1 hour since order after being told 15 mins rang back after 40 mins to be told it was on its way and still had to wait for 1 hour with 3 hungry kids then the order turned up incomplete and when the driver was confronted he shrugged and said well it is the weekend will never use this place again

Right when I'm go inside to make orders staff on kitchen was not with mask ,and the said to me please wear you mask on but I'm tell them I have exams issue and they don't listen me and not served me avoid this please

AVOID. I had been going for quite some time now, never again, pizzas gave me and my partner a bad stomach. After reading other reviews I can see why, mould on pizza? Needs a health and hygiene visit. Never ordering here again. My partner is having chemotherapy, this sort of thing could kill!! Think about it.....

Making customers wait 2 HOURS for food using excuse that busy is a complete joke. Just lost a £50 a week customer because of incompetent operation.

Well I just got my second lot of pizzas delivered after waiting over an hour for the first ones which came cold so I rang up and told you and you said you would get two more out to us as quick as you can an hour later them came and yes there were a bit warmer but we were hungry. But they were bland in taste and we ended putting 4 pieces in the bin. I’m sorry but we will NOT be using you again.

Have been ordering from here for a few years. Tonight our pizza came and one was ham instead of pepperoni and the base was Very doughy and undercooked. Has now put me off ordering from them again.

Ordered from them today. Very, VERY long delay. They put chips in a polystyrene container - fine, except they also put 'greaseproof' paper in the container too.. WHICH WAS STUCK TO THE CHIPS. The paper just fell apart when trying to peel it off, leaving bits of paper stuck to the chips themselves, rendering them inedible. Very disappointing. The onion rings were nice, which is why this isn't a 1-Star review.

Orded food didnt get one of the items we orded so i rang them up because something was missing from the order they then put the phone down to then which i rang back to ask why and they said the manager has blocked my number and cannot order food from there anymore all because we rang up for something that was missing all the staff are very rude also speaking in their own language so i couldnt understand what they r saying amongest eachother and also laughing which is also very wrong very very very poor service would advice DONT ORDER FROM HERE!!!

Dirty un helpful accidentally pressed the wrong button for food and by the time food arrived the driver zoomed off all I got was abuse stay away from this restaurant no help at all and been closed down before for rodents

As you walk in the sofa and floor is really dirty and the staff can’t speak the best English but the prices are outstanding and the food is great but you have to wait quiet a while for your food

Disgraceful service took over 3 hours for my order to arrive. When it eventually turned up 3 HOURS LATER it was cold and tasteless. The woman who takes the calls is rude, she lies, she put the phone down on me when i questioned where my order was. In my opinion she should lose her job. Very poor customer service! I hope to see the shop closed soon as it is not how you run a business. AVOID AT ALL COSTS DO NOT GIVE THIS ESTABLISHMENT A PENNY OF YOUR MONEY!

I don't know what is going on but after waiting nearly 2 hours for our order, it was stone cold and the order was wrong!! The staff were less than helpful. We have never had problems before (loyal customer for over a year) but we won't bother again. Another decent take away ruined by owners and staff who don't actually care!!

American Fried Chicken, more like America Failed Chicken. Been a loyal customer for over a year. Was told 1 hour for delivery, it took 1hr40. Food came cold, can of drink was warm. Have never had a problem before, that's why we kept going back. Sadly they have lost a loyal customer, we will not be using them again. Driver told me lies, I questioned the coldness of the food, he said it came straight from the Shop....I can only assume that he came to my door, straight from the shop via London!! We would have sent it back, but we were hungry, and didn't want to wait any longer for food. Now we have to find another takeaway that serves good food, something that is lacking around this area. Not happy. Avoid.

Absolutely shocking Used to order from this place most weeks and was great however has gone down hill rapidly. Last week we ordered was told an hour for food took over two, Gave them the benefit of the doubt so ordered again this evening again told an hour and again after 3 follow up phone call and 2 hours the food turned up with the wrong order. Called the shop back they couldn’t be less interested never agai.

Called to say they couldn't find the address at640pm. .at 705pm called them back. So food had been cooked and out for 25 minutes. .Instead of a fresh order my pizzas were microwaved or warmed up. .rubbery dry pizza. .absolutely disgusting

Ordered from there first time gave me and a few other people really bad bellyache, but just thought because it was greasy food? Ordered it the 2nd time absolutely rank made my boyfriend & dad both be sick of it and the rest feeling sick overall. If your looking for nice chicken don’t order from here!

very nice food and are not stingy on the toppings but my friend i beat up round the corner from there after went toilet in the guys back garden wont be collecting form there any time soon.

love this place, the burger meals are great value and very nice. always have different variations to our burgers through likes and dislikes but they are always correctly made. very speedy service 😊😊

This was the first we tried this company and would definitely use again! Food was excellent as was the delivery. Good value for money!!

The pizza came with all the topping smashed against the box. It looked more like a pile of cheesy mush. The Base ended up being bare no toppings on it.
