Disfrutamos del ambiente y los buenos precios. Los camareros del bar eran simpáticos y amables. La comida estaba bien de precio y muy sabrosa.

You know what you're getting when you visit a place like this, sticky tables, sticky bar, dark room so you can't see how dirty the glasses are! Service was faster than expected, food more expensive than it should be (but then you are in the O2) but it was all tasty.

went to the Aerican Bar and Grill in the O2, food very expensive and tasteless. The burger I had was small and the bun was like cardboard. Very overpriced, a rip off.

This is not really a place to go for a bar snack and whilst they do serve food its really more about the cocktail scene - a pleasant experience

I took my daughter to see a show at the O2 Arena and we decided to eat at the American Bar and Grill, which happens to be the first restaurant you see as you enter the arena. We chose our meal, I went to the bar to order and was incredibly shocked to be asked for £35 for 2 burgers, potato skins and 2 drinks!! I went to sit back down and suddenly the waitress was bringing our meal: less than 5 minutes after ordering - that was already a warning sign. How long had the food been sitting there waiting for an order? The buns were baps, not burger buns. The meat was overcooked and dry. The bacon was absolutely disgusting. The fries were cold. The potato skins were reheated in a microwave and the taste . . . I never want to eat anything like that again. It must have been bad if even my 9 year old said it was disgusting . . . and she loves food! If you happen to go to the Arena, avoid this place at all costs!

visited with my mum and daughter. venue was really dark (probably to disguise the awful food) with a couple of sachets of ketchup on the table. In hindsight this should have made us leave then! ordered food at the bar, two New Cowboy burgers and a childs burger and chips. When we were served we actually thought they had brought the wrong order as we actually couldn't see the 'pulled pork' that was supposed to be on the burger. there must have been less than a tablespoon of saturated in bbq sauce pork. you couldn't even taste it. the burger was burnt and dry. The childs portion my daugher had was exactly the same as us minus the 'pulled pork' and with more fries! also dry and burnt. very disappointing and incredibly overpriced.

Expensive, poor service and food was dreadful. Couldn't have been worse if they went out of their way. Pasta was cold and tasteless, chicken wings were not buffalo but BBQ and were cold, when let them know they returned the same ones minus the one bitten into. Beef baguette - beef was grisly, chicken burger was dry as plasterboard. Chips tasted if oil has not been changed for weeks. Next tables desserts came and plates for mains were still there, people left to clear a space themselves and not given cutlery for it. An expensively bad choice for the evening. Good job the concert was good! If you like this type of food, so many better choices in O2 and surrounding area.

Maroon 5 were in concert so we got to the O2 early and decided to try the American Grill out. We entered and liked what we saw, nicely decorated the hostess showed us to a table in good time and explained that we had to go to the bar and order food and drinks which was OK with me. The drinks were fine I had a Murphy's and the Good lady a cider nice and cold and tasty. Sadly that where the good times ended, I had Buffalo wings to start and the chicken was dark and tough the sauce bland and tasteless. For main I had a chicken burger in which the chicken was dry and again tasteless. Service was slow and staff had a didn't care less attitude. Will not be going back.

Arrived to an mostly empty restaurant and a heavily pregnant member of staff who had to be told she had customers waiting by a small child eating with their parents. Had to make our own way to our table without been shown any courtesy. Once we'd finally chosen, starter came quickly and was extremely disappointing. £20 for a mixed sharing platter- immediately it was obvious that items mentioned on the menu where missing, hardly any dips, onion rings where undercooked and soggy, calamari over cooked and flavourless and served to us already cold. Ordered sloppy joes for the main, came without the pickles it had stated on the menu so both ended up with double portions of coleslaw. Bread was stale, sloppy joe didn't live up to its name, a spoon full of mincemeat in a oversized and dry bun. Most was left. Nobody asked us how we were finding the meal, we were left with empty glasses on our table for over an hour with no offer of new ones- regardless of the fact there was 4 staff and only a couple of tables with customers. Had planned on getting a pudding in hope of rescuing a very disappointing meal but after having our plates snatched from the table without so much as a word and waiting a further 20 minutes to see if anyone would come over we eventually gave up and left. Most unsatisfactory £60 ever spent on food. No redeeming qualities and surprised it has remained open.

The service is horrible and moreover any of the "acting" managers have the worst customer experience ever! I was there with my sister and boyfriend and the food did not come up together and it was also wrong! The JIUCY burger was tough as old boots and when we point out that it was not a good service and poor food. After complaining we that we were offered a free round of drinks for a bill that was over £100, and told if we can't afford to eat in a VIP area we should go somewhere else, if I was you reading this I would head to Byron that is opening next door.....REPEAT NEVER EVER EAT HERE.... IT'S THE WORST PLACE I HAVE EATEN and I've been to some bad places...

Great location and yes there was a concert on and I expected it to be busy, pity the management didn't. No Pino Gregio available out of 5 white wines on the menu. No face / hand wipes for those eating the ribs. Order at the bar food which is OK in a pub but when you are paying £38 per head for 2 courses and a drink I expect service at the table. Food was OK but not stunning.

We were surprised at how empty the restaurant part was at this O2 venue. Staff looked after us very well and food was good. Drinks were somewhat expensive but that comes with the territory so to speak. I had a very good pasta dish and my husband had a fish course which he enjoyed. It is a large open restaurant definitely not for a romantic meal but that is probably not the experience people want - they will mostly just be wanting to eat before going in to a concert etc and for that it is ideal.

Went for a meal before a concert with my family and chose the American experience ....what a mistake.Ordered Buffalo wings,a dish I had eaten many times before in many restaurants here and the USA,chicken wings coated in a spicy/hot sauce with blue cheese dressing and celery sticks. What arrived was a pile of chicken wings smothered in BBQ sauce with a small dab of blue cheese dressing and three very small slithers of celery. On complaining that this is not what I ordered and this was certainly not Buffalo wings two members of staff who clearly did not understand their menu insisted they were right and what they served was as advertised. For a restaurant to claim it offers the true American experience and food perhaps should visit TGIF who do a better job across the board and where I wished I had gone. The rest of the meal was fair but you do have to order your food from the bar and fetch your own condiments and pay in full before you get to see what your paying for.It is over priced for what you get, both in quality and service.

First of all they squeezed 15 seats at 4 tables (birthday booking) we were then told we had to get up to order ( is that normal for American Bar & Grill???) once we all ordered we all got our food at different times, some of us waiting an extra 20mins whilst others where eating there's! The WORSE part of it was when i finally received my order was when i went to take a sip of my drink and the bottom of the glass just fell of into my food!!! YES clean cut and fell all into my food! i was then told i would not get a refund and they will give me a new drink and HALF my food back, the "manager" was VERY rude to all of us and told us if he gives me a refund none of us are ever allowed back!!

Visited this restaurant March 16, 2013 to have lunch before the Country Music Festival. The atmosphere was lovely, country music to match the Festival. We were quickly seated and service was fine.I had the pulled pork sandwich which I enjoyed along with the slaw and chips. My partner had American Burger with chips. He found the chips too salty but was satisfied with the Burger. Also had a side of onion rings which were greasy.Overall the food was "OK" nothing exciting but not horrible either. It was a quick and convenient lunch which is what we were looking for. However if we return to the O2 I strongly expect we will search a bit further along for something to eat

Appalling service, expensive food and drink and drab surroundings. The food was average but looked like it had just been dumped on the plate. This was meant to be a nice meal with my son before watching a performance at the O2 which turned out to be an expensive waste of time. I would rather go hungry than go back to this place. Please take my advice and carry on walking when you enter the O2 and try another restaurant.

Have eaten here a couple of times as a quick meal before gigs at the O2.Pros:Always quick to be seated.Food is quite cheap. Drinks are averagely priced. Toilets well maintained for amount of customers.Cons:Food quality is diner/cafe quality. Not comparable with other O2 eateries. Music is always too loud. Not much customer service.Have to go to bar to order food and drink.Lack of menu variation: burger, hot dog, salad (various emanations of)Verdict:Avoid if looking for a dining experience. If you're after a quick food fix and like American style burgers then its ok.

Went to the O2 to see a show so we knew it would be busy and the queues for food would be really bad, that's why we chose to eat here straight away as it did not look too busy, also the footy results were on at the time. Inside the music was so loud we had to shout to the bar lady to order, we ate outside as it was too loud inside but it is was cold. We had burger and chips with a lovely sounding salad for £11.95 each. What we got was a dry bun, a very burnt burger that tasted like charcoal, half a gerkin, one slice of tomato, one slice of onion and a piece of something green that might have been lettuce once. The chips were cold and the burger was burnt and cold. The meal was fairly slow to arrive but the bar was quite busy inside so we expected that but it was brought to us by someone who did not speak good English and did not bring a knife and fork or anything else, I had to explain what I meant by cutlery. It was the most disgusting restaurant experience I have had - DO NOT GO THERE.

Took my nephew in. Immediately spent £10 in a pint, coke & game of pool. Pool was timed to 10 minutes so when it came to a foul of the white ball. That was trapped in the table as we had gone over 10 mins. When asked at the bar, well, challenged.. The bar man just laughed. I ordered chips they were almost £4 & we received a small tin, equivalent size of coke can. Rip off city! Maybe their rent is too high..? Don't go it's not worth it

I went here to watch the England v France game in Euro 2012.We had a table booked upstairs. Upon arrival we found our table reserved for us and sat down. As we took our jackets off we were rudely accosted by a member of staff who said we cannot sit here as it had been reserved. We quickly told him that the table had been reserved for us, he then demanded the telephone number that we gave which we handed to him.We then went to the bar which had no more than 4 people waiting. It took 20 mins to get 3 beers even though 3 bar staff were serving. The staff were inept and could only pour one beer at a time.Eventually we got to our table to watch the football which was now 15 mins into the game. I say watch loosely as the picture quality was similar to what I would have expected to see in the 1950 World Cup. It said HD in the corner but I think this stood for Highly Disorientating. After 5 mins or so, one of the staff decided to turn the volume up to a deafening level that I would liken to something that might be used for interrogation at Guantanamo Bay. Everyone will now no doubt have tinnitus. One of the group decided to get the chicken bucket that was advertised on the specials board and went to the bar to order. He was told that they did not do this dish anymore. So he went downstairs and asked and they said certainly sir. The bucket arrived 10-15 mins later, again I say bucket loosely as I would liken it to a small pot you would expect to grow water cress in. However, they seemed to go down well. Finally after the game finished I decided to pop to the gents before leaving. After taking a tinkle I discovered that there was no running water in the toilets to wash my hands.I never ever plan to step foot in this place ever again!

What a terrible waste of potential. The first place you see when you walk in, usually has the lights off and the furniture piled outside like a rubbish dump. Half the bars are closed even on a busy Saturday night. Absolutely dead inside, much like the staff.Such potential, great space in a great location. Would make more profit if they boarded it up and stuck a couple of vending machines outside. I wrote to them to express my displeasure, and even their email address is dead. Terrible.

Arrived at this restaurant / bar for dinner and drinks before the Apassionata show on 21st January. It was our first visit but will most definitely be our last. The first thing I noticed was that the restaurant was only 25% full of the available capacity and this was around 6pm on a peak Saturday night so the alarm bells were already ringing. However we decided to stay as they do show live Premier League football despite anticipating poor food or service. The wrong channel was showing on the TV that was facing the table she sat us down at even after I specified which match I wanted to watch. After pointing this out the waitress said she'll switch it over but took far too long and the match had almost already started. Then they had no sound so basically don't bother going there for dinner if you want to watch the match with commentary and atmosphere as they wasn't any.Now to the food and drinks which was the worst part. We ordered 2 cocktails and 5minutes later were told they didn't have the vodka's for my girlfriends drink so she had to choose another. I must point out this is a Saturday night and we couldn't believe that this place didn't have certain vodkas and the cocktail list was very limited compared to many other places we've visited. Then we ordered a mixed platter for starters. When this arrived we started tucking in but then noticed the Jalepeno poppers were missing. At this point the waitress came over and explained they haven't any and offered more chicken strips as a substitute! I thought you're supposed to be told this when ordering so that you can change your mind but I guess this is the standard to expect. An extra few starter items were added after to make up for that.Ordered rack of ribs for my main course which was okay meat wise but the BBQ sauce was poor and I eat ribs regularly. The coleslaw was also shocking and I could not stomach more than 1 sample. The curly fries were fine. My girlfriend ordered a burger with blue cheese. 10minutes after the order we were informed that they had run out of blue cheese... surprised? Not anymore! 6:30pm and already 3 items we ordered were not available. Changed blue cheese for avacado. No word of a lie but the burger did not show up at all and I'd almost finished all my ribs. We decided to count this as a blessing and called the waitress over to cancel the burger order. She didn't even apologise for the wait or the fact that they'd clearly forgotten to make my gf's burger, amazingly poor customer service to say the least. My gf decided to get a take out from Wasabi whilst I waited at the downstairs bar and finished the rest of the football match. Half the bar section was closed and had funny looking flashing white lights surrounding 3 rows of empty red wine bottles and spirits, these lights kept on flashing and I'll rate it the most ridiculous bar lighting I've ever encountered. To summarise, we spent £40 for a sharing platter starter, 1 cocktail and beer and 1 main. All we got was below par food, hilarious bar decor, poor service and 2nd choice food and drink items that we didn't really want. Oh and a missing main course.

The American Bar and Grill in the O2 is a typical American Sports bar. You´ve got lots of TVs, so everybody can watch the games. The food isn´t special, but still tasty. Prices are a little high, but that´s to expect, when you eat at the O2. The staff was very friendly. They have wodden tables and comfortables seats. You can sit at the bar.

Brilliant experiment, always a very friendly service at this branch. This is the third time we have been served by staff member Kaeshan, she has been absolutely amazing. Great service, super quick, accommodating staff and most importantly amazing food and cocktails.

This McDonald's has seriously gone downhill in the 6 years that I've lived in woolwich. When I first moved to the area, orders were correct, burgers were made well and the service was great. Now, if you order in store - make sure that your order is correct before leaving or going to your table and good luck if your order online... 9/10 times the order is wrong or has something missing. I once ordered a cheesy bacon flatbread... and only got a stale flat bread! No quality control and no checking of orders. They are more concerned in getting orders out than making sure that they are correct. Focus more on the quality of the service than fulfilling orders to meet quotas.

I found this place by chance and I am very glad I did. Everyone either says hello to you or gives you a friendly smile. There was a live blues band and I was not disappointed! The band engaged with the crowd and was encouraged to participate with the band by singing. People (as well as myself) were dancing, very happy and embraced the blues. The staff were absolute perfection! Whilst speaking with the friendly staff I found out there are karaoke nights, dj sets and a whole lot more going on there. I am glad I came to this establishment and let the blues take my soul. Oh, and for those that are wondering there IS a pool table there which I will be heavily using 😂 I absolutely loved it there and WILL be going back!
