A truly great breakfast at Ambers as usual , good atmosphere and great service from friendly people ! Just about every write up on this Café is excellent , apart from the lovely Michelle's who I think had confused her food with her trainers ? And who doesn't prefer plastic take away cups to drink coffee out of , plain weird .

Just off the main road so easy access and parking . Seating area good. I didn't like the plastic cups ( take away only) even though you could sit down. My bacon dap was very tasty. The service was quick . The lady wasn't very friendly so I won't go back.

My Mam and I were looking for a break from cooking in these lockdown times, and we noticed a Facebook post saying that a local cafe to us was delivering. We decided to give it a try, and I ordered a Roast Beef lunch, and Roast Turkey for my Mam. Delivery was free and what arrived was absolutely incredible. Huge portions, four veg plus boiled potatoes, roast potatoes, a yorkshire pudding, home-made stuffing and home-made gravy, and loads of thick-sliced meat, these were Sunday Dinners to be proud of. Everything was perfectly cooked the way we like it (nothing was hard), the roast potatoes were crispy on the outside and creamy inside, the yorkshire pudding was the right size and properly made, and the home-made stuffing was incredible. The meat was so thickly sliced it was like eating steak We were blown away by the sheer amount; there was lots of everything! Normally cafe's stint on gravy but not Amber. My Mam actually only plated half of what we received and we still had a good, big plate full. The other half is in the fridge to be used later! For £6.95, this was cheaper than we could make it ourselves, and honestly, we couldn't have done it better. Knowing this is just around the corner from us, and that they're open in the week for deliveries, means that we now have an excellent option for when we feel like a change. Wonderful place, we highly recommend it!

A proper breakfast. Great food, fantastic service, decent prices. Just what I needed the morning after a long day of travel.

Love the food here. Always fresh, always hot! Not sure about the ginger diet Cokes though lol service is fast, always friendly and it's always busy. Can't say any better than that!

Lovely cafe run by lovely people. Friendly local people provide a smashing, friendly atmosphere. Spotlessly clean & above all food is delicious. My first visit Sunday with my partner, daughter, son-in-law & grandson. We plan to make this a regular Sunday morning treat. Also do a 'slimming world' version of breakfast and were extremely helpful with requirements of a two year old.

Have visited this Cafe on several occasions, the welcome is warm & typical of a valleys village. The food is lovely & for the uninitiated you can order 1/2 & 1/2! The decor celebrates local & Welsh rugby legends, with the value for money far better than some of the other alternatives in the locality. Well worth a visit & I am a fussy eater, yet I always have my requirements fulfilled.

Breakfasts here never let you down, or leave you feeling like you could eat more. Tucked away but highly recommended!

Great full `English` breakfast at a great price cooked and served to you piping hot by local ladies who take great pride in their work and it shows. Spotlessly clean throughout from ceiling to floor. The nearest `rival` is only able to provide a full `French` breakfast, a Frogs legs and/or snail butty & a 1/2 bottle of Blue Nun. :-)

I am on Slimming world and they cater for that which is fab, and my boyfriend had the ultimate, really tasty breakfast, very high quality and a really friendly relaxed atmosphere.

Fantastic cafe that offers good value for money with generous portions. None of this extra for a cup of tea or extra for bread and butter. Also great if you wish to swop items on the breakfast.

Traditional cafe for all day breakfasts with some healthy alternatives available. Friendly staff and reasonable prices.
