Food was outstanding. very tasty, lovely and hot

shame I can't give more than 5star. I order for years and queslity of the food haven't changed. size is great and the speed of delivery just amaze me all the time. my 4 year old said " they cook better than you mummy" so food was approved 110% again.

I order often delivery from them. Pollo milanese usually , portions are great and the food tasty !

They know about the food and the owner has a genuine interest in running his business properly! Great food experience every time.

A place that has pleasantly surprised me to tell the truth, the food is delicious and affordable for tourists. Since it wouldn't be the first time I've been charged an inhumane amount in other businesses around London. Not here, at Amaretto you eat well, they treat you as if they have known you forever and the best of all is the variety of Italian gastronomic dishes they have on the menu. Quite an interesting find here in Hendon Central!

Regularly order from this place and also eat in. The amount of food you get is incredible and it always arrives piping hot too. If you live in/near Hendon, you should really try this place out.

The food is good, but the atmosphere the owner creates makes the experience of eating there tense and unpleasant. The restaurant is always empty, it really should just stick to take aways. The owner lacks the personality and patience to welcome people in to dine at Amaretto Hendon.

The delivery guy just dropped on the floor, all the sauce is leaking and the packaging is open, I didn't see it when I received it, it was dark, he didn't say anything either and it went away. very dishonest

Front of house welcome from the main owner is always underwhelming, feels like we’re intruding. Food is generally good and chefs are lovely people. Huge potential but let down by front of house.

I am a frequent customer of this place, coming about once every week or two. The food always seems to meet my expectations, from lasagna to pasta, and they have a large selection of drinks and food. The service was good, with pretty kind waiters and food came within 20 minutes. It was not too busy and there was a calm atmosphere. I recommend this place to Italian food lovers.

We ordered a bag of mistrals and malteasers but we got 2 wafer bars instead

Coffee is less expensive than Costa next door but not as good. Not paying for a coffee every morning if they won't even let you use the toilet. I worked in hospitality for eight years, not allowing use of the toilet "unless you buy something" is the most ridiculous thing I've heard. Terrible customer service. No wonder your restaurant is always empty. I'll just go on the street outside, shall I. Clearly you don't have any regular customers as you don't even recognise them !! I'll take my business to Costa then as their iced is better anyway!

Nous y avions été lors d'un précédent voyage en 2015 et avions alors été agréablement surpris de la prestation, si bien que nous y sommes retournés cette année. Déception... Grande déception. J'ignore si le restaurant est opéré par les mêmes propriétaires ou si le personnelen cuisine a changé, mais il n'y a rien de commun entre ce que nous avions mangé en 2015 et ce qui nous a été servi cette année. Les entrées (soupe minestrone et prosciutto-melone) étaient bons et servis en portions raisonnables. L'escalope milanaise est tout au plus quelconque et je ne la recommande à personne. Quant aux linguine Giovanello, c'était bon, sans plus. Bref tout ce qu'il y a de moyen.

Wrong pizza delivered, didn’t enjoy it

Food is usually fab from Amaretto, but this time the delivery was absolutely tragic. The man who delivered the pizza (almost cold) sort of blamed me for not being able to find our house (which is on main street, he called from a totally different street- don`t they use Google maps?). Shocking. I paid 3 pounds for delivery to Justeat and the man denied it, so not sure what`s going on, but last time I ordered.

Couple weeks ago I went there with my daughter and ordered some pastas. One carbonara, one bolognese and they were a joke. I got a carbonara with cream and parsley and my daughter got an awful bolognese. I’m assuming the chef just quit and the waiter had to cook because there’s no way an italian restaurant will serve a dish like that. On a good note the appetiser and the service was great. Probably I won’t go there again.

Pizza was yummy, would skip the tiramisu next time but the portion was huge! Deffo a sharer dessert. Great delivery time. Usually go for generic pizza hut but this was much better.

I eat out a lot and only leave reviews when I'm really impressed. The fact that this isn't the first review I've given this restaurant should tell you something. The food is delicious, it arrives piping hot, the portions are generous and it always arrives on time. If you're looking for a good Italian restaurant, you can't go wrong here.

We ate here almost on a whim. Staying at a nearby hotel, we wanted somewhere convenient and attractive. Choosing the Amaretto based on previous reviews, we were not disappointed. The staff were warm and welcoming. We had the linguini dish with bacon, chili and aubergine which to say it was a generous portion would still be erring on the conservative side. We had the Chicken with garlic sauce and a side of French Fries. The sauce was excellent while the chicken was so tender I thought it wanted a cuddle. Seriously, it was a lovely meal for us both and a place we would heartily recommend.

I've told to the driver to not cnock on the door and to call me when he arrive. Nothing. He cnocked on neighbourgs door which are old people sleeping, just to find me. We are in 2022.. we have phone numbers abd internet.. this is a big shame from just eat..

The driver did not want to give me the receipt when I asked for it he said no this stays with me this is my job I know what I’m doing customer does not get a receipt.

Food quality mixed and a bit disappointing. Pizzas were kind of soggy and a bit bland. Tuna bean salad v bland, Spinach v tasty. Spaghetti average. Prices are reasonable. Delivery fast.

Amazing this timei always order the pasta here. portions of pasta are massive, I had carbonara which was nice but the veal Milanese with spaghetti bog was lovely, fresh and piping hot and they very kindly listened to my request. 2 pastas are easily enough for 3-4 people which make the price understandable

Pasta was dry lack of sauce in both dishes. There was plenty of salt not nice at all. Pizza garlic bread cold and hardly any mozzarella. Very disappointed!

So disappointed the quality of the food was shocking we order from here regularly but never again no filling with the aubergine watery sauce hardly any toppings on the pizza and the base was burnt black !! A teaspoon of sauce for the carbonara shocking !!!

This time we had some issues whit quality of our pizza. I’ve called the restaurant and the problem has been solved by manager extremely fast and well! Amazing costumer service! Thanks Amaretto Team!
