Amano Rooftop Bar London in City of London, Westminster

Beautiful bar and views, in a central location. Had a Funky DJ with great tunes. Shame about the service and the older gentleman with glasses (potentially the manager). Extremely rude and slow service. The gentleman that seemed to be the manager was pulling staff to one side and telling them off for letting people in that didn’t ‘look the part’ and said ‘to get the level of clientele up’, whilst looking over his shoulder to us and three other small groups of customers next to us. Absolutely unnecessary. This was recommended to us from a friend who really rated it. Such a shame and a waste. We will never return or recommend it to others. We’d been to Fallows and Mr Foggs before heading to Amano, where we had fabulous food, drinks and service.

Supertrevlig bar på toppen av vårt trevliga hotell ( med bästa läge). Fin utsikt över London. Och väldigt trevlig personal. Rekommenderas varmt.

Arrived and sat outside, which was really nice with great views. Not given a cocktail menu and therefore asked for one, as that was the reason we were there. We had looked beforehand and seen the online menu showing delicious and exciting cocktails. We were then told there was no cocktail menu, but they would make up some classics if we asked for them. Also then told there was no draught beer despite it being on the menu. I then ordered 2 different gins from the menu, both of which i was told were unavailable. I therefore just asked to get me a gin they did have. At £38 for a pina colada and a gin, i thought this was very expensive for the drinks and service we got and definitely won't be returning.

A real gem, saw someone tag themselves at this bar and looked into it and looked lovely. When we turned up greeted by a lovely lady, we had a table inside but asked if one was free outside and luckily by the heater we sat. Great range of drinks, nice view and outside really well decorated. Staff really nice and attentive. Lovely place and will come back again in the summer when we visit London. The restaurant on ground floor looked amazing and great sax player didn’t realise until after. But looked buzzing

It’s a beautiful setting but sadly let down by the service. We set outside taking in the views of London waiting for a menu…. It didn’t come so we decided to try our luck with the not so busy waiting staff to see if they would grant us a peek at the drinks menu. We ordered and eventually the drinks came… ok but very expensive but hey ho we figured they would be..The cocktails were pretty tasty but we won’t be rushing back… I think customer service would not go amiss training..

Booked on 29th of May for my Birthday From start to Finnish it was fantastic I live the venue the music the hospitality and fantastic people who looked after us. Special thanks to Abbie she was amazing she made me and my friends feel so good she made my Birthday along with the Great guys behind the bar I also loved the German Noam beers 🙏

We were just in from Toronto and quite jet lagged. This place was perfect. Tapas menu with inventive and elegant tapas. Spanish/Israeli themed. Cocktails are pricey (16 GBP) but good, and draught beers and some wines were more reasonably priced. There is inside and outside seating. The outside seating has nice views. We didn't have a reservation so were seated inside first and then moved outside when a table there became available. Then it promptly began raining, which caused them to move us to a covered seat outdoors. That was available for only the next 40 minutes, though, due to an upcoming reservation. So we ended up moving back inside in the end. Three moves, but the staff cheerfully helped us get it all to happen, and it was kind of an adventure when the not-forecast rainstorm hit suddenly and sent everyone scurrying. They handled it all very well.

Stayed at the hotel and the rooftop bar was a really good way to end the night. What an amazing space run by a top team. Spent some time talking to the owner who has a hidden gem in the centre of London

I’ve been to the restaurant and on the rooftop. The welcome was incredible, the food and drinks were excellent, the staff available. It was the first time but definitely not the last. (Perfect place for a date!!)

This is a really good rooftop bar . Lovely welcoming staff , fantastic views and with heaters and blankets you can stole sit out on a cold night .

Very good service and tasty cocktails. But a very bad surprise when discovering that they charge you 5 GBP for the nuts, even when the bill exceeds 150 GPB ….. C’mon guys … managers should travel a bit around the world to see how it works in other countries.

Not cheap but good service, really comfortable, and nice location. This bar is one of two at this hotel but this bar is ideal during a London heatwave. Recommended.
