Had a family birthday celebration tonight, everyone enjoyed their meal and the service was great 👍

My friend and I treated ourselves to a meal here and it was totally delicious. Nice and spicy, not bland in any way at all. Each dish was just right. Served with a smile. Will return soon for sure.

Ordered takeaway via just eat. Hour late and stone cold.

Didnt listen to my request when i asked for no salad in my chicken tikka naan wrap. When i phoned to tell them they argued with me and eventually sent a replacement out which arrived with salad in again. Tried to phone again and couldn’t get through to anyone. Food also arrived cold

The food was lovely as always - but the portion sizes for the sides were smaller than normal. Some of the containers were not even half full. Also all of our popadoms were broken and we were missing 1 Bombay Aloo.

Ordered from Amala this evening and the food was terrible. The chicken was dry and burned. The poppadoms was stale. Really not impressed as you spend lots of money on a take away then you get this rubbish. Please avoid.

Very disappointed, a waste of money. Food arrived on time, yet it was just about luke warm. Everything was bland, no flavour and the curry itself was a watwry mess. Very disappointed, never had this issue before.

Just an incredibly average Indian. Poppadoms were soggy, chips were flavourless, korma wasn’t good at all and the dips had barely any flavour. The biriyani however was delicious but no enough to make me order again :/

For a change we thought we'd order a takeaway from somewhere new. We won't be reordering. It was delivered quite quickly, ✅ and the flavours were pleasant ✅, however, the three cartons were only half full 😔. There were 4 maybe 5 pieces of meat in the biriani 😔, watery vegetable curry with no chunky potatoes 😔 and only 2 small meat samosas 😔. And, no free poppadoms, like many Indian takeaways, The korma was nice and thick, and sweet, 🙂. But, it still left us wanting more food after.

Unfortunately it was all very cold. Our chicken tikka wraps fell apart and were very soggy - we couldn't eat them. The biryani was very nice but the accompanying vegetable curry was disappointing and watery.

Lamb Shashlik was very spicy for my wife and even though i asked for no onions, there was 2 halves of an onion as soon as i opened the package. Huge portions though!

Have ordered several meals from this restaurant and the food has always been excellent, and it’s always arrived quickly! It’s also really good value for money. Delivery driver today was also extremely pleasant and I wish I had cash to tip him!

I asked for a qood quantity receipt for my expenses. They couldn't even manage that.

Food was spilled everywhere. It was freezing cold the pompadoms was soggy Wasn’t edible

We made a Big order, all there lovely and hot best Indian around driver was lovely too!

I don’t mind the food being late these things happen but the food was cold the curry’s were watery and the yellow sauce that come with the order was curdled I have never seen that before, I love Amala and always order from here if I have Indian, I’m hoping it was just a off night but it was disappointing

Ordered because of offer but glad I did, great taste and portion size (some places skimp out on amount of meat in the curry). Even though not my closest Indian it arrived quickly and hot.

The food was absolutely vile & tasteless . There was 2 tiny pieces of chicken in a curry, the onion bhajis where just dripping in oil, there was pure water and oil on the sag aloo that was stone cold, the poppadoms where soft and stale. would NEVER eat from here again. The food ain’t even good enough to give back. I have kept the photos and food & will be returning it to the restaurant in its original state. Absolutely disgusted that it was even allowed to be delivered. ZERO STARS

Well the thing we didn’t like was the quality off the sauce was a bit poor on the tikka masala but too rich and so so watery the chicken was a tad over cooked and just wasn’t seasoned but the korma was good but the cheese and keema naan seemingly had little to no meat in it and the tikka masala naan had burger sauce peppers and whole tomatoes and other veg in it which is not the correct item I ordered as well

Went on a Sunday £12.95 4 course meal, food and service was fantastic, we shall be returning

order over 1 hour late. phoned the resturant and was told it was round the corner, still another 40mins. food damaged and cold on delivery. when I called back 30 mins later than first call, was told we spoke to you 5mins ago and we told you were busy. delivery women was told it was damaged, she said oh well, speak to them. discussed with everything!!!!!

This was really disappointing, bland tasting and no substance. I think a jar of sauce from the supermarket put together with some fresh veg would have tasted nicer. My partner threw his away and couldn't even eat it. We sadly won't be coming back.

Food overall was good. The potatoes in the saag aloo were undercooked which was disappointed. They threw in an extra papadom which was appropriated.

I asked for it not to be spicy and its so spicy i cant eat it. Complete waste of money!!! Never buy from here again. They dont follow customers requests

I can forgive the late delivery time as road works were put up locally. The food was very nice as usual and surprisingly still at a good temperature to eat. Friendly staff when I phone them up.

unfortunately this was the worst meal I've ever had. the food was cold. I csn actually deal with that. can reheat. However the poppadoms were soft. the onion bahjees were dripping in grease and the kebabs were rubbery

Really tasty curries with extra spice / heat 🌶️ We thoroughly enjoyed the coconut rice and peshwari naan as sweet accompaniments to hot curries! The only critique, is that the salad and poppadoms could have been a tad bit more fresh. Poppadoms were slightly stale (soft) and salad was packed with curries, so was hot and limp.

First time order. Curry sauces were very tasty but sadly the chicken in my butter chicken was pink and undercooked so I couldn't eat it. Chicken in the pakora also very pink. Rest of food was fine...

Best indian we have had for a while and I’m really fussy with indian, lovely taste in everything and the saag paneer was done how it should be! Was lovely definitely will order again, delivery driver was lovely too
