It’s so nice here, always great service, food is delicious, it’s great. Majid is awesome, great recommendations, great guy!!

I went with friends for a meal. I ordered chicken Biryani and one of my friends ordered lamb biryani. Lamb is the food my body can't handle. In my whole life I do my best to avoid lamb. When the food arrived the table, the waiter gave me lamb biryani n told me it was chicken. I tired it but it tasted funny n it didn't taste chicken at all, that taste almost made me vomit. I asked the waiter a few times if it was lamb or chicken as it didn't taste chicken. He confirmed it was lamb n he even teased me "of cos it's chicken, you know lamb is much more expensive". Then my friend who ordered lamb biryani found chicken in her dish, the waiter said the kitchen made an mistake, he swapped mine n my friend's dishes, he didn't even apologise. I told him to take the 2 dishes back to kitchen as we both ate our dishes already, it was not hygienic to swap dishes. The waiter didn't want to take the two dishes back to kitchen until I told him I wasn't happy abt it. He then took the 2 dishes back to kitchen n said to me in a funny tone "I will take the dishes back to kitchen n serve you fresh ones, ARE YOU HAPPY NOW?" He also said it wasn't his fault, it was the kitchen's mistake. It's an expensive restaurant but I received bad service n bad food. THEY MADE ME EAT LAMB THAT ALMOST MADE ME VOMIT. They didn't even apologise! I WON'T GO THERE AGAIN AND I'LL RECOMMEND ALL MY FRIENDS NOT TO GO THERE! What an unpleasant meal there.

Had a delivery tonight, forgot 3 x starters. £120 for the food. Very poor, food below average. Not happy. Would not order again

Beautiful Food, Friendly Staff! Majid was really welcoming and respectful. The food was presented well, I’d definitely recommend this restaurant for a fine-dining experience. They have their own car park located behind the restaurant. Menu prices are reasonable and the interior and decor is really pretty! Thank you to Majid for looking after me and my family! Attend a party in the private rooms located at the back of the restaurant. Service was first class. Food was very good. Other areas in the restaurant are clean including the restroom. Free car park at the rear down a slope. You need to register your car at the reception.

If you’re looking to dine at amad I would definitely recommend! I’ve been about 10 times and the service, ambience and food is EXCELLENT! They have always served us as soon as possible and the food has always been so good! Definitely a top place for a party, event or even just a catch up with family/friends I have a baby and they always accommodate for her. I am so surprised they even had any poor reviews, probably guests who expected too much and only visited once. Definitely visit them! And the owner Sajjid and his son are always smiling and welcoming to all the guests! I’ve tried the steak, chicken Parmesan, pretty much most curries, the breakfasts English and desi, the mix grill and loved everything! Can’t wait to revisit!!

I haven't had the pleasure of visiting Ammad's Restaurant myself yet, but from all the glowing recommendations, it seems to be a top-notch place to dine. I've heard nothing but great things about their service, and many people have praised the 5-star quality of both the food and the overall experience. As someone with a disability, I'm particularly reassured to hear that the restaurant is very accommodating and goes the extra mile to ensure all guests feel well looked after. It sounds like a fantastic spot, and I can't wait to try it out myself soon!

Our dinning experience was excellent I highly recommend this place, we had the nachos for an appetiser a mixed grill and the dabha gosht with vegetable rice and a garlic chilli cheese nan everything was cooked to perfection It's definitely worth a visit and the place deserves to be more busy than it was...

Food was delicious, very tasty, maybe slightly underwhelming when it came to the spice level, but overall very nice and flavourful. Atmosphere is nice, and the service was okay, but the price is quite expensive for a local "curry house".

Recently ate here for a wedding and I can’t wait to come back for a dinner out ! The staff were lovely and the owner is such a great gentleman! Attentive and really shows thought and care. Food is great! Absolutely none got left ! Recommend for a lunch or dinner out or any special occasion. We had a marvellous time & they made it even better. Everywhere kept super clean too

Up in Derby on business and so glad we found this place to eat. The food is incredibly tasty. The chicken bhuna was very well seasoned and the lamb chop starters were cooked perfectly. Only regret is we should have booked our stay at the hotel it is a part of rather than staying at Premier Inn.

Had a fantastic time. The staff was very accommodating and happy to help us organise the room to our liking. Even though there were 6 of us, the food came quickly and tasted amazing! I recommend ordering the butter chicken or the lamb curry with naan. I really appreciated their communication, as well aa their eagerness to go above and beyond for us! I would definitely recommend Amad to friends + family x

I came here for a friends Gender reveal and we hosted it in the private area. The staff were amazing, they allowed us to come in early to set up and offered help as it was quiet. The room was clean and elegant and communication beforehand was clear. The food was really nice, we got a few curries, biryani and a mix of naan, it came out in good time and all warm. i would recommend the lamb karahi and butter chicken!! The service was really nice and friendly. i would definitely recommend booking for private parties or evening dinner for special occasions.

We had the most incredible meal at Amad’s on Monday. We started of with a basket of poppadoms and chutneys, before moving onto our starters. I opted for the dynamite prawns and my goodness was I not left disappointed, I’m sure you can see from the pictures I’ve left, just how Incredible these looked, and they tasted even better. My dad went for the aloo tiki potato cakes where were beautifully garnished. Moving onto our mains, I couldn’t decided what I wanted, so I let our server decided, I had the Newabi chicken which was tomatoey, garlicky and spiced to perfection, my dad went for the tandoori chicken. We had pilau rice, stunning naans to accompany them. We will definitely be returning, I haven’t stopped thinking about those prawns since the visit. The service was top notch, the staff were lovely and the food is incredibly good value.

Checked in to the continental hotel this evening with my partner. After dropping the luggage to the room we headed down stairs to get some a drink and a bite to eat after a long day travelling. We were pleasantly surprised being massive curry lovers to find it was a curry restaurant, the Amad restaurant was amazing, the food was AMAZING, the decor was great, the staff was friendly and the cleanliness was tip top. Perfect start to the holiday!

Well I think I’ve found my new favourite restaurant! The food was simply the best! I had the lamb chop starter which was so tender with a lamb shank for main, again just fell off the bone with just the right amount of spice! Our waiter Majid was very courteous and had a lovely gentle nature to him. Would definitely and will definitely recommend this restaurant to our family and friends! Sad that I’ve not discovered this place sooner!

Amazing food, so many choices and all cooked beautifully. I had the paneer makhani; massive chunks of paneer with a sweet, tangy sauce. Lovely calm atmosphere & well presented decor. The staff are great, Majid was our server and was really helpful and friendly. Fantastic mocktails too: I had a mango mule ♡

I can’t comment without having a meal. The service attitude is good. The address is on the roadside and in a large parking lot.

Was invited by a friend for dinner party. Mr khan, the head waiter, probably the rudest and one of the most ill mannered waiter ever served starters and mains in the same plate, barked at the guests and literally spoilt the whole experience. Never setting foot inside again. Skip if you can.

Terrible experience, terrible service, they don't clean their tables, it took them 47 minutes to serve me tap water, was told they are running out of glasses and jugs, I had wait while other patrons finished off I WOULDN'T RECOMMEND THIS PLACE
