Mac n cheese was dry. One steak was a bit overcooked. Wasn't told that we had to pay extra to change 2 meals with chips to mash! Or that we had to pay for the sauce for steak. Surprised at the price of the bill!

We asked for a medium rare steak that came over cooked the chips was cold The waiter’s was rushed off their feet but very polite and friendly our waitress Fern took some money off the bill for the steak

Conan was a welcoming and very helpful server, made our visit extremely enjoyable and made the experience great overall!

We came in from harvester at Barlborough due to wanting the chicken skewers which they'd ran out of. We Rang up first spoke to lady who said yes they've got them, we put our order in over the phone, arrived about 20 minutes later to have food on table... Fab service on phone and restaurant, fab food just the downside was the peppers on skewers being big and full of seeds. Thanks to Connor who cooked to perfection and Ricky for a fabulous service..

What a wonderful time we had today. Went for my birthday and from the minute we walked in it was so relaxing. Siobhan was our server and checked we were happy with everything several times, and always with a smile and a cheery positive attitude. Hospitality could do with more like her. Will be back soon.

Visited for sons birthday. Had a coffee and Donut and was lovely Restaurant was clean and tidy.

Had better food and service for the money.

Service was very poor only a few staff and time taken from ordering ( online) because no available staff to receiving the food was lengthy. Equally although the food was good it was a lengthy time before any dishes were removed and the children’s dessert were ordered and received. Probably around 3 1/2 hours in total.

I have been going to Harvester alma park chesterfield for a while and find the staff very friendly and always have a pleasant smile and welcome. Conan always make the visit very pleasant and the rest of the staff make it very enjoyable Thankyou

Really happy following our last trip not sure why the higher management insist on stripping back to bare staffing though. Service should always come first as well as respecting their staff. Surely someone in head office must realise that staff cutting not only demorilises the team but also affects the guest. The food was gorgeous and the team of two staff although busy were very good.

Not much to improve really. Good food (chef was Charlie) and service (server was Frankie). Always love the salad bar! Our grandson always wants to go to harvester because of the salad. Minor, minor thing... table was to seat 6 (5 of us), but only 3 sets if cutlery in the jar, and 3 napkins.

We had a amazing meal we was well looked after by Conan he was funny good with my nephew the food was amazing we couldn’t of asked for a better service and gave us the prefect place to sit cause of the buggy

Just went for Harvester.Gluten Free fryers weren't working so my menu was even more limited than usual. My baked potato was over cooked and grey.

We received poor service we finished our drinks and did not get asked if we wanted a second round, which we did. The food was left under the heat lamp for 15 minutes, the three servers were all struggling to light someone's birthday cake. The food was dry and in places cold.

Last minute visit. Had a lovely meal, salad bar is a great extra. Great, polite, friendly service from our waitress Grace. Will be back

Was a last minute thing. Plenty of booking slots so was easy to get sorted. Our server, Conan was very friendly and attentive. Very quick service. Food was amazing. The chef today (15th June) was Andi.

Entered the premises, no greeting from staff so just sat down at a vacant table (there were probably only around 3 other paying customers anyway). We sat for 10 minutes and not one member of staff spoke to us.. the atmosphere was poor so we decided to take our business elsewhere. I won't visit again when next in the UK and wouldn't recommend this establishment to others. I think from memory, I last went to this eat-place 6 years ago and it was fantastic.. what a shame

Had a wonderful meal at harvester tonight our waiter Conan was excellent chatty, jovial and welcoming. The food was cooked perfectly and well presented by our chef Darren.

Fern was lovely and very helpful. Mikey how ever wasn’t too great just seem to hurry us along he wasn’t approachable at all where as fern was much better. Food was good and very filling. Thank you go Tom the chef.

The food here has been absolutely dire on our last 2 visits, and now we doubt we will return. The food used to be beautiful, so I have no idea what's changed, but it's no longer tasty, value for money, good pub grub. Definitely wouldn't recommend to anyone.

Went on a Saturday night and it was fully booked fir food tables so I would recommend booking in advance but have no idea what the food was like

Pleasant staff. They serve you at salad bar . Can serve your own unlimited soft drinks. Could benefit from more sanitising points. Soft drinks expensive. Would have preferred homemade chips.Return visit in June 2024- helpful, pleasant staff. Asked for chips to be swapped as not a good taste and rubbery. Next portions were similar. Offered a discount off food .

A drop for 5 stars. Very long service. Food wasn't great. Wasn't a great experience all in all. I had the BBQ chicken stack and most of it was over cooked.

The food was a mixture, mine was nice although the chips were over cooked, my husbands chicken was rubbery. The staff were again a mixture, the man who "greeted" us didn't even look at us, I asked for a table for 3 (it was 2 adults and 1 child) and he took 3 adult menus, which made it even more clear that he hadn't even looked at who he was seating. I grabbed my own child's menu on the way past. However, there was one of the ladies who served us who was very lovely. A very mixed visit but wouldn't rush back here.

We were shown to our table and then served by Leigh, who suggested the perfect sides to go with our meals. We had a fantastic salad bowl each for starters. I had Simply Chicken with sides of sweetcorn & loaded onion rings and my son had the Beyond Dirty veggie burger with loaded onion rings. The chicken was tender and moist, cooked to perfection the sauce was tasty and gloopy, I had to have chips instead of a baked potatoes, but luckily they were proper chips rather than skinny fries and there was a lovely helping of ratatouille and gardenn peas. It was perfect for our pre cinema meal. Thank you Leigh for looking after us and thanks to the chefs for the tasty, perfectly cooked good. Full marks from us two!

Would never set foot in there again all i can say the food was disgusting went yesterday for my birthday with my family the food was cold the chicken was dry the only good thing was the free salad bar thats it infect i was sick last night after eating the food

We had a table of 12 people and Conan was our server. He was excellent at making sure everyone was happy. Unfortunately, one meal wasn’t quite perfect but as soon as this was brought to Conan’s attention, he soon dealt with it! Thank you for a lovely evening.

Our server was Zoe, she was very friendly and welcoming. Our food was cooked by Connor, which was all cooked really well, however the Steak was a little too fatty for my liking. We mentioned this to Zoe and she gave us a free dessert as a kind gesture.

Service was great but the cooks need to learn how to cook such a simple thing as a burger very disappointing won’t be calling in again.

Customer service was great but the cooks need to learn what cold raw meat is and not serve cold raw meat even after it was sent back. But over all the service was great and everything else was great

Decent food although a little expensive. Shame about the entertainment!! Customers on a table nearby talking and swearing loudly. Not really acceptable in a family restaurant. People asking to move tables as finding it offensive. Staff aware but not doing anything about it.

Out for a quick tea with my 2 boys and we had a great meal. Hannah was our server today and she was very attentive and more than happy to help with anything we asked for. Food cooked perfectly and we were in and out in plenty of time. Great service all round. Was nice to see so many members of staff with smiles on their faces.
