Good food ,great service and good welcoming atmosphere.

I finally had the chance to visit for dinner in April 2024 after having been recommended this spot several years ago for its baked good and coffee. Service was exceptional, both warm and welcoming. I took recommendations from the server on options for my meal, settling on the Pádron peppers to start, followed by the Tabouli salad and Lamb Schwarma for my mains. The food was really good - fresh and simple. Table water was complimentary and I loved the flat white. Dessert was a millionaire’s rice crispy to go. As a solo diner, all in was £25. I would return and recommend.

We visited with our baby and some of our family. Some of the staff were not particularly welcoming and the cafe was a little shabby inside especially the toilet!! The food was nice but nothing amazing and quite expensive.

Food and coffee are great. Cafe allows dogs in. Small space and a lot of dogs. Not everyone likes dogs and where food is being served it is quite unhygienic. Also, couldn’t put my finger on the staffs attitude but having read another review that hit the nail on the head, it’s like they were irritated having us there but seemed really friendly with the regulars and their dogs.

While the bread cakes and pastries look nice, the inside has seen better days and could do with a good clean. Worst thing are the countless dogs on extendable leads sniffling round under the tables and, ugh, doing that thing where they shake themselves, releasing unknown quantities of dander into the air near you. Very unhygienic.

Lovely place. Gorgeous date and walnut bread. Really nice food. Only wish there were more vegan cake options which tend to be a bit boring.

We have been here a few times and with family moving into the area, we have come with different groups- every visit has been exactly what we hoped for. Good quality, fresh food with really good menu options. The baked goods are also amazing, very hard to resist leaving without taking a cake or pastry with you! Very friendly staff who are always helpful and don't rush you. Exactly what you hope it to be, relaxed atmosphere and a great spot for brunch, a coffee or a pastry.

Went for Brunch and was not dissapointed. The quality of the ingredients was well worth the price. We had Endlish breakfasts and they were on our table within 10 minutes. Great atmosphere. Looking forward to going back and trying the lunch menu!

Lunch with my friend was a lovely experience. Nice staff, nice menu, and a disabled toilet which is helpful. Dogs were allowed in for the animal lovers though it got a bit noisy at times.

Loved it! All of us were super impressed with our food and got cakes to take away which were all great. I have been wanting to go for a while but have been out off as I couldn’t book (as it’s hard to wait with a 4 year old!). We went for opening and will happily come back again!

Poor value for money - had Moroccan eggs - tasted nice but one small egg for £10 was incredibly stingy - should have been called Moroccan Egg!

Just had 2 Lattes and got charged £7.80. Ridiculous price for a village cafe . Last week they were £3.30 each which is enough to pay . It’s gone up 50p .

Was in here yday. Lady had a dog which took it upon itself to toilet on the floor not only a nos 1 but a nos 2 aswell. In a food shop REALLY. If you can't keep your dogs clean leave them at home.

It it's like being back in Ronda. One of Marple's treasures. I highly recommend the merlot. It awakened my buds. The lighting is superb and the wood smelt good. I will be be back for your cheesy goods, soon'eth.

One of, if not the best, brunches in greater Manchester. Superb taste, excellent portion size and reasonably priced! A must if you’re in the area!

The big plus point for this establishment is that it allows dogs to come in with their owners, and will cater for the dogs requirements with water and treats. The food is simply excellent and generous portions. Very pleasant and efficient staff. Altogether a very good dining experience.

Great cakes, great food, great atmosphere, and awesome staff! Been a regular at ATN since it opened and I've never had a bad meal. Lunch time grab and go sandwiches are fantastic all be it a bit on the large side! The Cruffins alone are worth a visit! Just hope it's the pistachio one!

Best coffee shop in the area. Nice food for a light lunch.

The full English and the tostada were so fresh and tasty and it was obvious that really quality ingredients were used. The coffee was delicious too and the cakes looked amazing - but we were too full to try - next time! The service and ambience were also really lovely. Can’t wait to try it again.

Great place to go for meals and treats.

Great place. Lovely food. But 1 member of staff (lady with dark hair, front of house) made me feel very unwelcome. She seemed irritated by me just being there. I was polite and was unsure of the set up. Where to get take out etc. It was busy, and I was clearly getting on her nerves. But she was great with all the regulars. She definitely put me off returning

Was quite a bit missing of the menu, but the food they did have was really good. Only complaint would be the chai latte which was almost a glass of milk.

Visit this lovely cafe when In Marple and it’s been really good in the past, both the food and the service. We visited a couple of weeks ago and the food (full English) wasn’t its normal standard, we tried again today and sorry to say it’s not where it was? Not sure if they have lost the chef or changed butcher but the full English has turned mediocre. We said we will give it one more go so let’s see what happens next time.

We’re regular customers of All things nice, sometimes just for their bread and cakes sometimes to eat in, and more often than not for both. Whether it’s eat in or take out the quality of the food is as good as it gets backed up by friendly service. What’s not to like.

Visited for the first time to try the Christmas Sharing platter. We’d seen the pictures online and thought we’d like to try that! Got to say it did taste as good as it looked in the pictures but there were no carrots available as they’d sold out. That was disappointing as it’s only a small place and they must now how many covers they’re doing each night. Also I know that they allow dogs in during the day but I would’ve thought at nights when people are coming out for evening meals they wouldn’t allow them in. Also why do people going out for an evening meal feel the need to bring their dog with them, can they not leave them at home for a couple of hours as we certainly do with ours! There were two dogs sat by different tables close to us. One of them started barking when it saw the other dog and had to be led over to say hello to the other one and the other one jumped up at the waitress when she was bringing food to the table. Also the dogs were being fed from the tables. So overall the food was lovely, the staff were excellent and the venue is great but we won’t be returning at nights due to dogs being allowed!

Fantastic coffee and a great menu for breakfast, catering for all dietary requirements, including vegetarian and vegan options. Really friendly staff, happy to make our experience as pleasant as possible. We were able to bring in our dog too, which was nice as it was quite windy to sit outside. Would heartily recommend. Currently, they have a festive menu, a really lovely selection of Christmas meal small plates and desserts. Wood recommend!

Wow! What an amazing place! Food and service were phenomenal. Portions were huge and the atmosphere was so premium. Seemed so popular on a quiet high street. I will definitely be coming back again!

Exceptionally good food in the centre of Marple. The bread and cakes are delicious. I had the tomato soup which was spicy and extremely tasty and probably the best vanilla slice I have ever eaten. The coffee was great and the focaccia sandwiches looked spectacular. I’ll be trying one of those on my next visit. Excellent friendly service.

Lovely place for breakfast. Good gluten free options. Child and dog friendly (although limited space for prams).

I chose this place by checking on Google Maps rates. We ordered Omlet but the egg smell was nasty. The food design was good but the taste was really bad. Also, the service is much cheaper than their price. And also they took our plates exactly when we were near to end. I couldn't feel comfortable there and I didn't enjoy the food. Don't recommend it.

No bakery items on a Sunday.. all looks great on social media but no offering of all the nice things on a Sunday just brunch menu

Food quality, service and waiting for a table not so good, waited for a table for an hour when 20-30 mins is what we were told, apology accepted, we then waited a further 50 - 60 mins for the food to arrive, however the food is quality when it arrived, I probably won’t wait for a table in the future, but I will go again if I don’t have to wait.

A treasure of Marple. Food is always spot on, the baked goods are amazing (if you’ve not tried a cruffin yet you’re missing out!) and the freshly prepared grab and go sandwiches are always really fresh and tasty. Great coffee as well and all the staff are really friendly and helpful.

My friend and I popped in here one Friday afternoon after work for a cup of tea and a cake. The carrot cake was absolutely delicious and I would highly recommend. The first girl that greeted us wasn’t very ‘smiley’ and was quite blunt (hence the 4 star review) but everyone else was lovely. There was a few minutes wait for a table which was fine, we were happy to wait. We would definitely return :-)

Its a mark of how good somewhere is when people are happy to wait in the rain to get a table. Service is superb, the food is amazing and the choice of drinks and pastries (again amazing) is spot on. Highly recommended

Only had a coffee and Pain au Raisan due to time, but the place looked lovely and I'll certainly call again for breakfast or lunch sometime. Very friendly welcome and service. Very busy too - always a good sign.

Been in a couple of times. Some of the staff look straight through you and are antisocial, but some are very accommodating. Good place for coffee, had food a couple of times but be prepared to wait an average of 40 mins. All cooked to order though so you’d expect that. Prices are a little high but I guess it’s a sign of the times. Owner/manager is a nice guy.

Beautiful arisan breads and pastries are available to take home after the most delicious breakfast. I had the ricotta and nduja on toast for a change. Perfection! I usually have the full English which is the best I've had anywhere. You won't be disappointed.

We love it here. Popped in today (Saturday, about 4.30pm) for standard great service and a lovely millionaire's slice for our son. To the couple on the table next to us, it's Marple. It's a place with baby change and high chairs. Yes, you were having a glass or two of wine. And yes, I heard you talking to each other about our "annoying child" before you (drunk) drove to Fischer's for your tea. Get over yourselves! All Things Nice is an asset to Marple and guess what, sometimes Marple parents want to go to somewhere nice too (again, in the day time). Was in Marple to play golf, decided on visiting this cafe for a pre golf breakfast. Service was prompt and a good variety on the menu. Plumped for the full english and Americano. Food tasty and coffee good, but a little overpriced for the quality. Some of our party got poached eggs instead of fried and white bread instead of seeded, the cafe did rectify this by bringing out a plate of fried eggs and seeded toast. SO customer service spot on.

Wow- just been for dinner here and it was delicious. Shared a meat meze platter and extra sides of chicken shawarma, lamb shoulder and baba ganoush. Finished off with cheese and an amazing pistachio and rose water dessert. Incredible value considering we had a bottle of white wine too. Lovely atmosphere and great staff.

Oh my God this place just brilliant. Prices seemed a little high when I first went in but the amount you get is crazy. Went for lunch and had to change my dinner plans because of the size of sandwiches. Quality of ingredients is outstanding. Would recommend to anyone.

A deservedly popular food venue where everything sold is of the highest quality. We bought a regional cheese and a great loaf of bread baked on the premises and had 4 excellent breakfasts. This place is a must whenever we visit Marple.

We come here a lot for breakfast so decided to come for lunch…a toastie,and a cheese sandwich…can’t go wrong…boy oh boy were we wrong..the bread was soooo thick we couldn’t eat it all…such waste..the lady at the side of us was really upset that she’d left so much bread..people were complaining their toasties were cold and not melted….less is more…we’d have eaten it all and it would’ve been worth the money…the waste was ridiculous

This bakery/cafe only opened the day before we visited, under new management and recommended to us by our Airbnb owner. We went for breakfast and had one of the best breakfasts ever, so good we were back the following morning. The breakfast was very hearty and set us up nicely for a day’s walking. I had the full English which included a choice of home baked breads for the toast option and bacon and sausage sourced from a local independent butcher. The staff were very friendly and helpful and accommodating.

We purchased some cakes to take home for our children. Chocolate cake was one of them we bought two slices and that evening as we cut them to share for our children the inside and bottom was riddled with green mould.I had to message the shop twice and got ignored - 3 months later I receive an apology and an offer to come in for a free coffee. This is after me having to chase the responses my children could of eaten these. We spent over £12 on the cakes. We have not eaten there since.Disgraceful

Just been in for a quick bite to eat. Ordered two coffee's, a hot chocolate and three sandwiches. One coffee was freezing cold, my hot chocolate was horrible. The bill was £27 for this. It's gone downhill since Rick was in charge.

19 ladies from a local WI had lunch here today. The 2 ladies who served us were amazing - we really don't know how they managed to get all the different food choices on the table so quickly. The food was excellent and plenty of it. The cakes looked delicious but no-one had any room left to try them! 1.9 VERY happy ladies

Came for lunch on a week day just before midday and was surprised to see how busy and popular the place was. The service was good but the food was mixed quality. The bacon was overcooked, chips were soggy and the cheesecake didn’t taste good. However, some of the other food was nice and looking around the cafe think there’s plenty of dishes that looked good. Other than the inconsistency of the food thought place was really nice and staff were pleasant.

I was visiting Marple and wanted somewhere nice, relaxing, welcoming that served good coffee and awesome breakfasts.I found this place and honestly I can not fault it one bit. I’m writing this whilst eating the full hit vegetarian breakfast with a massive smile on my face. The food is absolutely amazing, everything was hot, cooked to perfection and lovely and colourful so makes your mouth melt as soon as you see it. The staff were lovely, they brought me two extra poached eggs because they said the chef wasn’t happy with them. In my eyes they were perfect but I got two extra eggs. You wouldn’t get that anywhere else. It’s so refreshing to know your food is being cooked with love, care and attention.Good work All Things Nice. I’ll be coming back

Visited the cafe for tea and cake. Staff friendly but the tea was disappointing and the cream in the cake was on the turn. Cafe and facilities all seemed dirty and cakes were all tough and unappetising.

Went in and asked for a simple black coffee. Noticed that everybody else appeared to getting their drinks before me including people who had come in after so after a considerable wait I left and won’t come back

Came in with family on Tuesday, been before but was so nice had to review again! I had the warm goats cheese salad and hubby had soup and a club sandwich. Everything tasted fresh and was presented well, Staff are so nice and friendly I’ve seen reviews saying they aren’t and I really can’t see why unless they’ve changed. This is a lovely cafe with great food, the staff are very pleasant and the outdoor seating area is great when weather permits to sit outside and watch the world go bye. The food we have had has always been of a high standard, the drinks likewise.
