Marple has some of the best pastries and desserts I've tried. They continually swap the menu items so there is always something new to try. I suggest early arrival as the restaurant section fills up quickly and their best pastries sell out.

Took my mum and grandparents here after seeing a few TikTok videos about the place. The food was very lovely, big portion sizes and some unique food combinations. Definitely lots of new things to try there. The coffee and cakes were also very nice. Only thing I would say is it is a bit overpriced. Obviously we knew what we were ordering and the prices but it was still quite costly for the four of us. We had two starters, three mains with two sides, four hot drinks and four small desserts and it came to £100.

A spot of lunch. Full English for Joh and steak and eggs for me. Joh's meal arrived without either the beans or black pudding and the eggs uncooked on the sunny side. Mine was obviously reheated steak, not cooked fresh, and the same uncooked eggs. So we called the waitress over. To their credit, they served Joh a fresh complete breakfast and I didn't mention my eggs as we'd been waiting a while already so I scraped off the uncooked egg and ate my steak as was. Joh's fresh breakfast was spot on. Service was excellent throughout, just a pity the kitchen let them down. As we asked for the bill we were told it was on the house, which was an unnecessarily nice surprise. We gave the staff a good tip instead. Mistakes are bound to be made and a measure of how good a restaurant is comes down to how they fix those mistakes. All things nice fixed it just right. Thank you

Lovely place, had been wanting to visit for ages. Lovely interior, and full house for a weekday morning. Ordered drinks and food still hadn't come after 25 mins (we had a simple order), when we were informed that there had been an issue with the printer so order hadn't gone through. However five minutes later the order came. Food was really yummy, high quality and really loved the items they made instore. The staff were really lovely and we gave us our drinks for free to make up for the mistake which we weren't expecting and was much appreciated. Really recommend the bakery to. Very high quality cakes. My dad was especially keen to try as he is a baker by trade and he rated it very highly - particularly the vanilla slice and cinnamon roll!

They say "In matters of taste, there can be no disputes" but having been a regular for 12 months I have been consistently and regularly impressed. Breakfasts are quality, a great selection and range to suit taste and pocket, they even treat the dog well (you can tell when people genuinely like dogs i think). I don’t recommend places very often but i would this one with no hesitation.. The only problem i have ever had is getting in as its normally very popular.

Always had lukewarm to bad experiences dining in and getting bits to go here (and attempting to!). The most recent time we were told rudely that they had no available tables (we could see a handful inside and outside), that there was a waiting list AND that they were closing in 10 minutes. When we asked how this made sense we got a very snotty response. Won’t be coming back! The team need to learn customer service skills.

I have had All Things "Nice" on my list of places to visit for over a year and today was the day my friend, myself and little girl made the trip to Marple. Only to be met by a very rude hostess with an attitude that made us feel unwelcome. We were put on a waiting list due to no availability and when I asked if we could wait inside at the bar - I was told no because it was booked. My little girl was cold waiting outside and we then left to find a warm place. I received a call and missed it, I called back within 5 minutes and no one answered. We were back at All Things "Nice" within a minute. We were welcomed with more attitude and told there was no food/table, because we missed the call. Surely if we were told to go away, it will take time to walk back and 6 minutes from missing the call to being back (as well as me trying to call back to say we are on our way) is not a long enough grace period. The team look flustered and like they were rushed off their feet, which is surprising as the cafe does not have that many tables inside and no one was sat outside. I seat and serve triple the amount of customers in my cafe on my own, so, I do not understand what was going on and why the attitude of team was negative. No one else was on the waiting list before or after us and I saw the list when I returned. No one was sat on the seats I had asked to sit at either when we returned. No offering was made for us to wait inside to keep warm - no courtesy or effort shown from the hostess to offer us to wait by the window where the pastries are placed. There was enough space for us to wait there. I have travelled and lived all around the world and today was the WORST experience. The effort you put on your social media vs the reality - your hostess is letting your business down and you have lost valued customers.

I have now tried to visit the establishment twice without any luck. Both times I was met by a really rude hostess. The first time I tried to take my in-laws there for a lunch but was told there is no space for us. We noticed there was a waiting list but was not offered to be added. Today I tried to take my friend and her little girl for a treat. Again I was met by the same rude hostess as the first time. Today she advised they are full at the moment and took our details to be added to a waiting list and was told the wait would be around 20 minutes. We asked it was possible to wait inside as it was cold out and was told no. We walked around and waited for the call. We missed the call around 25 minutes later and almost immediately tried to phone back as we were walking back. We were just in Peacocks, but no one answered. When we got to the establishment, we could see the rude hostess look at us, disappear to the kitchen and came back again. One girl told us she is setting our table and it should not be to long. Not even a minute later the rude hostess came out and I overheard her telling another staff member to tell us our table was gone as we didn't answer the phone and she cannot give us food. The poor girl came over saying she phoned 3 times and our table was gone. They did not phone three times and when we told her that and advised we tried to phone back with no answer, she started to get rude and flustered. Needless to say we could see two tables open in the establishment. We then just said thank you but we will leave and left with a very hungry little girl. This was really unprofessional and we will definitely not be back! Coming from a small town ourselves and working in the service industry, we wanted to support a local business, but both me and my friend felt unwelcome and was treated with disrespect. I truly hope the owner will have a look into their staff and the way they treat people as this not a great way to treat people. Unfortunately you lost two customers for good.

I visit this cafe quite regularly, however the past 2 times the food has being cold, brekkie sloppy and toast dry. There's a tall young lad who seems to always be there and a woman with dark hair who are very friendly and helpful, especially the lad. But there's a woman with an accent that never smiles and can be quite dismissive. I'm not sure if it's because it's always busy that the quality of breakfast is not as it was but its a shame as I will Try an alternative from now on.

I finally had the chance to visit for dinner in April 2024 after having been recommended this spot several years ago for its baked good and coffee. Service was exceptional, both warm and welcoming. I took recommendations from the server on options for my meal, settling on the Pádron peppers to start, followed by the Tabouli salad and Lamb Schwarma for my mains. The food was really good - fresh and simple. Table water was complimentary and I loved the flat white. Dessert was a millionaire’s rice crispy to go. As a solo diner, all in was £25. I would return and recommend.

Food and coffee are great. Cafe allows dogs in. Small space and a lot of dogs. Not everyone likes dogs and where food is being served it is quite unhygienic. While the bread cakes and pastries look nice, the inside has seen better days and could do with a good clean. Worst thing are the countless dogs on extendable leads sniffling round under the tables and, ugh, doing that thing where they shake themselves, releasing unknown quantities of dander into the air near you. Very unhygienic.

Visited for the first time to try the Christmas Sharing platter. We’d seen the pictures online and thought we’d like to try that! Got to say it did taste as good as it looked in the pictures but there were no carrots available as they’d sold out. That was disappointing as it’s only a small place and they must now how many covers they’re doing each night. Also I know that they allow dogs in during the day but I would’ve thought at nights when people are coming out for evening meals they wouldn’t allow them in. Also why do people going out for an evening meal feel the need to bring their dog with them, can they not leave them at home for a couple of hours as we certainly do with ours! There were two dogs sat by different tables close to us. One of them started barking when it saw the other dog and had to be led over to say hello to the other one and the other one jumped up at the waitress when she was bringing food to the table. Also the dogs were being fed from the tables. So overall the food was lovely, the staff were excellent and the venue is great but we won’t be returning at nights due to dogs being allowed!

Visited ATN Marple in early September, on a Monday lunchtime. Marple’s high street was pretty quiet and several businesses closed, but there was quite a queue for tables at All Things Nice - always a good sign! Busy inside and out on the covered terrace,...

this place serves good food but is handicapped by the manner in which it is managed. it is basically a coffee bar/cafe not a restaurant, but customers are requested to wait outside exposed to the weather until a member of staff comes out to identify...

Utterly delicious small plates meal. Everything was out of this world. Undiscovered gem. The staff are all delightful and genuinely interested in how much you’re enjoying your evening. Toni must have a special mention for her attentiveness and general knowledge of the food and wine....

For breakfast I chose Eggs Royale . As it is a favourite of mine I have tried it all over the place . It was pleasant but I thought the amount of hollandaise sauce and salmon were meagre for the price of it. I bought...

This place seems to be very hit and miss. On this occasion, it was very definitely a miss. The staff were rude, the food arrived undercooked (the chips were still raw in the middle!) - Sent the food back, got the exact same plate of...

Our first visit to The Aviator, a fairly new build, clean, bright and welcoming. The car park was well lit, if a little compact, however a further parking area is under construction. There is outside seating/tables and a children's play area, secure from cars etc. We went for our meal at 5pm. The Aviator has both Pub and Restaurant areas, with plenty of space. A log fire was lit by the staff, adding significantly to the ambiance and feel of the restaurant area we were in. Washroom facilities: For those with limited mobility, the facilities are on the ground floor. For others they were on the first floor, accessed via a staircase. The facilities were clean, well maintained and fully available. On arrival the place was fairly quiet with good seating selection. Access appeared to be good for all users. Service was very good, accurate and fully met our needs. Food was very tasty, with good portion size and choice. All in all, we got what we paid for and throughly enjoyed it. We would definetly go back. 😋

Poor service, food stopped because it was awful. Atmosphere is drowned out by the poor music selection.
