I took my friends here to catchup. The food was impeccable with a great selection, the bar got our range of cocktails out quickly and they tasted fantastic. The service and staff were super friendly and did a great job. We will definitely be back!

We were looking for a good restaurant for a reunion for a group of friends catching up from Uni days. Having not been back to Norwich since graduating from UEA 30 years ago I looked on Tripadvisor for help. Although reasonably mixed reviews I wasn't disappointed with our choice. All Bar one offered a really good choice of delicious food, great atmosphere and great service too. All round excellent visit. Would definitely recommend.

I visited All Bar One today while in Norwich, it is well located for the museums and Norwich Cathedral and have a warm welcome on arrival as escaped the bad weather outside! The bar itself is well kept, had no problem finding a nice place for us to sit. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. I ordered the Chicken Burger that comes with a Korean-style sauce and chips, served quickly, hot and tasted great. Thoroughly enjoyed the meal. One slight improvement point, that doesn't impact the the review - the O2 WiFi wasn't connecting very well so ordered at the bar instead of the app. Really enjoyed my visit, and will happily return again for food and a drink.

Rude waiter walked in for food waiter said wait while I get u a table then disappeared can back 5 mins later friends ask for table again he snapped said im just looking for one then we said we just have a drink said there’s two tables there so sit there but didn’t come over take drinks order mean while us two gents went to the men’s toilet they was so dirty we came back and got the wife’s and walked out as we still had not been served and didn’t not want to use those disgusting toilets again should be shut down that how dirty they was and they are serving food appalling service and disgusting toilets never again

Popped in for a couple of drinks, service was quick and the bartender was very informative on there spirits and helped us discover some new drinks we hadn't tried before. Fantastic service and a new go to vodka, great experience

Visited on 16th December for a work do. The food was incredible! I had a turkey paupiette and blackcurrant mousse bar, not only did they taste delicious the presentation was beautiful! The staff were really friendly and helpful, highly recommend and will be back!

Very slow service. 3 course dinner started at 18.30 and finished at 21. 20. First we needed to wait for a very long time for a started + massive waiting time between each course. Cold custard was served with a Christmas pudding. I will not be back.b

We had our Christmas works meal at all bar one Friday and all I can say is it was the worst experience I have ever had dining out. I had to request 3 times for our drinks order to be taken then our food arrived before drinks, this was after waiting 45 minutes at our table. When addressing this with the manager they told me I should have ordered at the bar, which isn't usual service for a sit down meal. The manager also came up to me complaining and swearing about her staff members which I wasn't sure how to respond to. Very rude staff and slow service.

Great place, busy but staff attentive

As part of a Christmas dinner with colleagues, our meal choices were sent a couple of weeks beforehand. I specified 'no onion on the fries' and asked if there's a GF dessert option. No response. I followed up with an email a week before our reservation, again, asking if my dietary requirements could be fulfilled - no response. Fast forward to the date, the venue is packed and uncomfortable, and my food arrives with a burger bun (requested removal due to gluten). I also suspect my fries were laced with onion, but honestly our server looked like she was having the worst night, so didn't want to make a fuss. TL:dr, I got REALLY sick from my food - this is a serious hazard for people with allergies or intolerances. AVOID.

Eve did such a great job during our time here. It was hard with a rough rowdy table next to use but she ensured we were still looked after. Food was delicious and so was the drinks. Thankyou!

Had a Christmas function the other week at all bar one Norwich and was met with the friendliest staff and perfect customer service. Even though it was a completely booked out day, the staff made sure to make our experience a positive and memorable one with them going above and beyond to make sure we left with smiling faces. The food was perfect I ordered the beef brisket burger with potato fries and could not have asked for a better meal, it was made fast and I could tell that exceptional care was taken with the presentation. Our drinks were delicious and it was amazing to witness the skill and effort that the bartenders used to create the exceptional cocktails. I could not possibly recommend this bar enough to all my friends and family looking for a night to remember.

Went for a group party. The bar was hosting two pre booked parties of around 20 people and couldn't manage with the smallest thing. The tables weren't ready for the set time, leaving us waiting for the tables to be cleaned and prepared for us. Everyone ordered drinks but noone got then until after the starte was already finished. From the opinions, the starter was nice but the main (festive menu) was dry and the taste of bacon absolutely overpowering! I ordered fish, which was good but instead of potatoes I got little charcoals as the potatoes were, tiny and burnt! The dessert wasn't too bad in most people's opinion but the overall experience of waiting for food for almost 3 hours in total was completely unacceptable! The staff was mixing orders and names from both parties. Drinks menu was another thing to mention, cocktails, wine etc had prices but spirits, beers, ciders had no prices listed on the menu, I'm not sure if it's even legal! Overall experience left everyone really dissapointed and definitely won't be going there again. Not recommended for group parties!

There was a very rowdy party when we arrived which causes stress for the staff. However, Jessica handled it perfectly and she is a credit to the staff. She is professional and resolved any issues we had in a perfect manner. We can see how hard she works and she is the reason we had such a nice experience. Thank you Jess.

Just got back from a lovely evening for our works Xmas party at All Bar One Norwich. All the staff were amazing and helpful despite having to juggle several large groups. Whereas alot of Xmas meal offerings can be hit and miss, the food was outstanding and interesting without being weird. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals. Thank you for the best works Xmas food we've ever had. I'm sure we'll be back!

Service excellent, food good, had the Christmas 3 course set meal. Didn't mind having to pre order starter and mains didn't like having to order desert in advance as it's something you decide about depending on how full you feel at the time

Lovely coffee which is all I had. Nice touch to bring some smarties with the coffee. Service very slow. Waited ages for just a cup of coffee. Had thought to eat there this coming Friday before going on to a Concert but now having second thoughts as to how long it will take for food to come.

Went for bottomless brunch, was told they had beer, which we could pay for, but had run out of the beer for the bottomless brunch option, no alternative. In 2 hours only got 2 drinks. When we asked about where are food was, staff were blunt telling us they were short staffed with no apology or awareness of how little we'd had. Other tables also complaining about lack of service. Such a shame as it was my friends birthday

A great brunch to start the day! We had a full English and a vegan breakfast which were both really tasty. The service was excellent and we even got a shot glass full of smarties. It was very empty in the restaurant so not much atmosphere. A hash brown would be a great addition to the breakfast to make it a 5 stars !!

We booked a table, which was given to someone else, we had to sit at an uncomfortable high table, good was late, veg skewers insufficient for cost. Told staff no response .

The hamburger was superb! I'd recommend adding bacon 🥓 for an even richer taste. The ambiance was quite pleasant. A suggestion for the burger recipe: perhaps consider offering brie cheese as an alternative to the cheddar. The sweet potato fries were incredibly delicious!

We really enjoyed our meal and wine was excellent. My only negative when we arrived no one was there to welcome us. As it was our 1st visit we were unsure it was a client who said walk through and order at bar.

Been to this place several times today however standards have slipped considerably. breakfast eggs burnt bottom and rock hard, sausages / mushrooms seemed like they had been microwaved hard ..when complained offered fresh fried eggs arrived when I had mainly eaten my breakfast .. staff seemed preoccupied and not that bothered ..however my partners breakfast was ok although coffee cold when served . Think we will give it a miss in future

Having first visited ABO as someone's guest, I hadn't clocked their 'order by phone from your table' system and the tiny plate instructing me to do that was obscurely expressed. Sitting with two guests, I waited twenty minutes and then went to find a waiter. I was told by the chef d' - brusquely, with obvious irritation - that I should have used the 'system.' The three of us left and fared much better elsewhere in Tombland. Shan't go there again. Don't like businesses which are there for the benefit of employees rather than customers.

Myself and a few friends did have a v nice evening at your venue, however the end of the evening was soured because I felt I had been ripped off when I ordered some shots. I ordered 3 shots (Jammie Doughnuts: consisting of Chambord and a small layer of Baileys on top). When my friend ordered these he was charged £13 for the 3 shots. However, when I ordered a further round later on I found I had been charged £21. Despite airing my frustrations to Georgia behind the bar she was adamant she was in the right as that was the price for custom shots and her argument was that it entailed 3 bits of chambord and 3 bits of baileys. However my frustration was that she did not warn me in advance that it would be a v expensive round nor did she inform me the price merely pointing to where to tap my debit card. It was only after that it dawned on me I had been charged an extortionate amount. Had I have been informed in advance I would have chosen an alternative drink. Her rationale was "sorry but we do London prices", yet I work in the City and the only place I have every encountered 3 shots for £21 was Mayfair. I wanted to pass on some constructive feedback because it is an excellent venue you have, yet in these challenging cost of living times the behaviour and conduct of staff can have an adverse impact in terms of whether customers will frequent venues for subsequent visits.

We ate there twice in the last 2 weeks as a charity that supports adults with disabilities Firstly the staff were fantastic and friendly. The food was lovely and plenty of it. Truly is a great place to enjoy a drink in town when shopping. Served today by Georgia, really friendly and made me feel very welcome. I even got a slice of lime in my beer to make me feel I was on holidays 😀 10/10

The bar and food was good and service was quick and helpful. The outdoor seating was fine particularly in the hot weather. Sadly the toilets were appalling- not clean, no locks on doors, no toilet paper Awful !

We were a group of 6-8 who visited last night, the gentleman who served us couldn't have been better. He had good product knowledge, customer service and was reassuring when told there were two allergies on the table. The food was 10/10 and we would all highly recommend, especially the tapas & desserts. Looking forward to our next visit.

We have just attended the bottomless brunch at the Norwich all bar one. I cannot fault the service received from the team especially Jess, I will be recommending friends to this venue without hesitation.

Darryl has been a great host, friendly and attentive. Food was nutritious as well as delicious. Drinks were great. We had a great time. Definitely recommend the maki bowl.
