Ali's Chippery & Curry. in Preston

Food was cold had to microwave it

Chips were not fresh they tasted old and were smelly. I have had great chips from other cities such as Birmingham however these chips were the worst I’ve tasted. Waste of money. The curry sauce on top made the chips soggy and the chips were not hot.

Fish and Chips were vile. Also how can a chippy "forget" salt and vinegar on F&S? Not that they would have tasted any better.

Ordered fish and large chips. What I got was very disappointing. Normal fish which is what I wanted. But the chips ? I asked for large chips and what I got was normal chips ! Did say that chips given should have been more, but according to them that's large chips. Went in again a week late and asked for normal fish and chips. What a surprise, was served the same amount of chips !! Give them a miss and go elsewhere.

Didn't recieve one single item I ordered. The driver just argued with me like I was wrong! Told to just phone the takaway, not his fault or anything to do with him! £35 for 2 lots of cheese burger and chips! Never ordering again!

Brilliant service, when ordered pin move and was wrong address but alis was quick to fix the issue and sorted it out for me, food is delicious and driver was very friendly 5*

Fresh and hot food the chicken tikka nan are out of this world so tasty and delicious

My go to taweaway everytime. Everything ive tried has been great. From the pizzas to the kebabs to the burgers. The sauces from here are to die for. Particularly the chilli and garlic sauces!

Bought two large portions of chips. Given in boxes, paid £7. So stingy potion and so expensive. Goodbye Mr Ali won't be seeing you again!

The food was good and delivered on time

Very nice. Chips were properly cooked and not greasy. One of the nicest burgers I've had. But... the Persian chicken came with chips by default. It would have been nice to have been able to change to rice. Or keep the chips separate to not be soggy

the fries looked re-fried and disgusting

Never had any issues before but the steak pudding was absolutely rancid and inedible and the tikka pie was beyond undercooked

Fantastic food but curry was from a can for 10 quid. I mean I can get a jar of pataks warm up for 2 quid and it would be better. Come on. Curry let down but rest was great. Persians lovely.

That’s the strangest keema Ive ever seen, like white mince in chilli oil, definitely not for me, though I appreciate different recipes and methods. However On appearance alone I wouldn’t eat it. It looked like cat litter in washing up liquid. The breads was alright, so I’ve had bread for my tea,

Popcorn chicken & strips was absolutely delicious but very disappointed with their Persian chicken it was like plain chicken curry on rice noting was special about it won’t order again

Very bad customer service, low food quality

The fish was dry with too much hard rubbery batter on it. The chips were dry too and you could taste the old chip pan oil on them. The mushy peas were ok overall very disappointed as last time I had them they were ok but not going to order again so thanks for spoiling my Saturday night meal with poor food.

4 nice things. Driver phoned me when he got here instead of just knocking. Fast delivery, came 10 minutes early. Temperature of the food very good, hot. Quality of the food was very good. Got a meat Persian (it’s beef), chips and gravy, meat samosa and seekh rolls. Seekh rolls were the best :)

Waiting over 2 hours for my order I contacted the shop and got horrible attitude of the guy on the phone he should definitely not be answering the phone and speaking to customers how he did in the end I turned up to the shop and his attitude soon changed DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE

Food took over 2 hours to come and is stone cold. Tried to cancel the order due to the waiting time but the service did not allow me to. Even the delivery driver apologied because the food had been there for 2 hours despite intial order time being 15-20 minutes. Really annoyed and disappointed with the service, the food is really cold and the chips are very hard (because they are cold and have been sat there for 2 hours).

Food was ok but I asked for mixed Persian and I didn’t get a mixed Persian.. only included chicken and I paid for a Mixed.. (chicken meat and keema). Delivery driver was very nice though!

Paid 8.50 for donner kebab and chips when it arrived was surprised to see 5 strips of donner meat and half a dozen chips all cold so rang the shop to be told next time I order it will be the correct order no refund or offer of my correct order being delivered

Did not ring the doorbell and left the food on the doorstep. If it was not for the app updating I would not know the food had arrived.

You followed my requests perfectly I would highly recommend the chicken. I wished there was more of it. would be great if you could offer more of it in your menu for example 3 or 4 piece meal or even a bucket of it. I really enjoyed it thanks guys👍

First time of having from this restaurant. The food was lovely. Good portion sizes only thing that let it down it wasn’t hot. Was just warm enough to eat.

I wasn't able to track the order on its way, but knowing when it arrived proved important, as the driver got confused between houses in the dark.

no salad on one when asked for salad I wouldn't say it was large more like a small

chips were stale, one pizza was ok, other looked like it had done a few rounds in the ring on the way here. rang to try and rectify as I would have driven down to get a replacement but was hung up on.

didn't put the curry sauce on top of the cheese and chips as requested doesn't have curry cheese and chips as an option on the menu apart from this the food was okay just average but did arrive hot

This place is my all time favourite take away. The food is always on point. The spicy donner and chips is the go to dish. The homemade chilli sauce they serve is something else. I go as far as ordering a bottle when I'm back in Preston. Keep up the good work!

We like this takeaway but please put salt and vinegar on the chips. I always make a note to put plenty on but as per chips come with none on..

Awful, the chips are under cooked and full of grease, the fish is dry and tasteless, a waste of money, the food ended up in the bin.

If you want a cheap burger and chips with good quality chips this is it. You get proper chippy chips here so it's a good shout. The Asian pizza is good aswel it's not spicy though if that's what your looking for.

Pretty standard food. Lots of tikka masala and small amount of chicken. Chips were over cooked or reheated.

Kebab wasn't big enough Kebab was tasty but not big enough and could have had donner meat in the mixed grill one and more chicken on the chicken one with a bit more salad

Super hot and tasty food. Ordered a mixed grill in naan with salad. It was fresh, tasty and hot. Would definitely recommend. Also ordered chips and curry sauce. The chips were nicely cooked and tasty, curry sauce wasn't the best.

Our favourite take away in preston, we drive from Chorley for these kebabs! The special one is the best thing ever and the portion size is huge, can’t recommend it enough
