Alio's Delicatessen in Elmbridge

If you enjoy cooking, and eating good food this shop is for you. Everything on offer is of the best quality and the Italian staff know about Italian food and wine. Given the quality of the goods on offer prices are reasonable. I live in Teddington, a nice enough place to live, but hopeless if you are not a fan of over packaged, over priced, unripe, unseasonal, chemical laden supermarket products. Unreservedly recommended.

A brilliant place for all your authentic Italian food needs, the guys in there are so friendly everything you'd expect from a real Italian family business. Don't forget to grab a panini on the way out!

Staff are always happy and helpful. There are great stocks of wines, beers, and prosecco. The Italian sausages are the best we have tasted. You can sit outside with a coffee, beer, or a panini. Oh, and their Italian biscuits 😋

A traditional Italian deli with products that don’t appear (I guess) in Uk stores. Great owner, always friendly and cheerful. Makes our 300 mile round trip to visit family locally even more special. And great coffee too!

Little Italian heaven in Walton on Thames. Excellent quality, everything from wine, pasta, and true Italian products to Salami and large selection of fresh produce on the counter... And home made pesto!! And the service is second to none!

Love this place and I'll repeat what others say, it is like walking into Italy going into Alio's. The quality of the produce has elevated my cooking substantially as well as the gold nuggets of advice on cooking from Giovanni and Giuseppe. Just wish I found this place a long time ago!

Giving this place a 5* simply because it does everything you expect. An Italian deli selling the best in Italian products but especially in hot and cold dishes to eat as you wait to spend your money on more stuff for your pantry. Been going to this place for 3yrs since my dear friends up the road from it introduces us to it.

Visit totally spoilt by the owner who hates Americans and says that Putin is not so bad. Won't ever want to buy anything from someone with those views.

I shop there in time to time, as I need to drive quite long distance……today I realised that the prizes on the products were totally different from the bill….. I noticed £10 more on my bill…… I really hope that it was one time error. No complaints otherwise.

This place is so exspensive £1.50 for a can of diet coke and I was served by a not so welcoming lady I will not be revisiting unfortunately. Although on my first visit previous to this time I ordered a toasted cheese and ham panini and t was quite nice but again exspensive

Great little gem of a shop and café

The fresh paninis and coffee is unbeatable at Alio’s. We used to come here when it was in Epsom and it is still as good as we remembered! Thoroughly enjoyed browsing and catching up with the lovely staff.

Alio's provided bread, anti- pasta, a great lasagne and an amazing tiramisu for a family party I was hosting at home. Food was excellent, and plenty of it, with all my guests happy with it. Added bonus of really nice people to deal with at Alio's and very reasonably priced. Mick.

Fabulous family run and managed Italian deli. Good range of unusual dry Pasta variants, and Italian bread flours. Daily Italian bread, and good selection of hard to find Italian beers. Wouldn’t recommend the expresso though.

I love this place! Really enjoy coming in to pick up a few weekly treats - usually a bottle of wine, pack of intriguing pasta that’s different to the usual supermarket staples, and a couple of deli meats to enjoy over the next few days. Whilst there we often also indulge in a delicious coffee and pastry to have outside before heading off.

Very good selection of quality fresh Italian and Mediterranean foods. Friendly staff and very tasty paninis and coffee. Much better than the supermarket and worth a stop off. An absolute hidden gem.
