Ali Murad Indian Take-Away in Kirklees

My wife and I wanted some evening food. We had never tried alli murrads before, and we only live on the road. I ordred a chicken vindaloo and a pizza. My curry sauce was like flavored wall paper paste. The pizza was just like a cheap, shop bought one, with no flavour at all, which ended up in the bin with the menu. If we could have given it no stars, then we would DONT GO HERE, ITS NOT NICE WHEN YOU WORD HARD, FOR YOU MONEY TO BUY TREATS, BUT FIND THAT ITS CRAP!!

Do not use. Sent me chicken. Instead of vegetarian. Had poured over other food before seeing chicken. Called them as Uber only gave partial refund for the curry. I just wanted food. They blamed u we and said to call in an hour. I did. They saw my name but not the address. I have used these guys every week for 3 years and they said ‘tough’ basically when I wanted the right meal. They rudely hung up on me then. Will never use again. Disgusting attitude and a rip off. Do not use them. Will be telling my friends too. They have lost repeat custom and loyalty.

Nicest curry in Huddersfield, ordered takeaway with my mates, will defo be going again! Customer service was top notch.

Absolutely the worst dinning experience I've ever had. Did not get what we ordered did not get enough food was cold bland and uncooked. Side salad was dried out and contained raw carrot. Unbelievable never use this place again 😒

Cold food delivered one hour late driver saying he could not find address this happens with all my family time to stop ordering

If i could id give it minus stars i would. It was disgusting. Didnt eat it, waste of £30. Chicken looked like it had already been chewed up. Naan bread was a plain pizza base with butter spread on. Chips were soggy greasy and cold. It tasted like dogfood- i actually wouldnt feed a dog food from here. Very upset with the order. Please stay away!

Actually horrendous 🥲 all the food was cold due to the driver driving round my block for 20 minutes, driver was also extremely rude and left the food on someone else’s car no where near my house, really bad service

Why do most take aways at some point ruin your meal by sending the wrong food is it because they just do not care as with our recent order putting piri piri sauce on our mixed grill when I repeated my self twice NO piri piri

Called here for the 1st time as i live local, Delivery was pretty quick the down side was the food the mixed nan kebab had 3 pieces of donner about 5 small pieces of chicken and 1 seek i had then to drive to the shop (might aswel ov just collected food) and spoke to the guy he said they have been told to give this size portion i sa8d for £6 its not woth it got money bk the pizza wasnt wot i orded either and onion bhaji dry what a shame i will go elsewhere infuture

I've only been here for curry and kebab, and although the food is always properly cooked and flavoursome, there are times when I can tell that a lack of care and effort was given. In recent trips the curry has been excessively oily, and that goes for the chicken tikka kebab also. The fries are their downfall though. Soggy and never crunchy. I wish they would return back to their old standards which were much better. I will say this though. Good value for money, and you get good portion sizing.

I really fancied a curry and happened to have a 50% off voucher from UberEats so ordered from here. I have ordered before and the grill part does some lovely Peri Peri chicken. I ordered a chicken masala and garlic naan, pizza (child no1) and burger and chips (child no2). I live around a 10/15 minute drive from the takeaway dependant on Traffic, so not particularly far. So imagine my surprise when we tucked in to find it was cold. The curry was runny/watery and lacked any flavour and the slightest hint of heat. I don’t say this lightly but I’m left wondering if it was frozen food, put in the microwave, I have actually had supermarket Curry ready meals with more flavour. I didn’t really taste the children’s food other than a chip which was also cold and lacked flavour other than the salt put on them, so I don’t hold out hope of the rest of their food being much better. I am so so disappointed, there’s not even an after taste to it. The last time I was so disappointed eating a curry was last November when I was ill and couldn’t smell or taste anything haha . I’m glad I had a 50% off voucher, I’d be even more disappointed had I paid full price for food that bad. I certainly won’t order again.

Really delicious food. The order was ready within 20 mins to collect, every item was hot. Every item was there. Alhamdulillah. This will be my new go to Indian take away insha Allah.

We ordered our food over the phone and was told it would be delivered at 8.15pm... At 8.40pm we rang and was informed our food would be another 10-15 minutes. We rang again at 9pm and were told the driver was just around the corner. The food arrived shortly after and was stone cold. We refused to pay the full price for the food and will not be ordering from them agaain!

Ordered food from here from Just Eat as there weren’t many options to choose from being around 1.00am. The food came on time but that was the only positive. We ordered burgers, peri strips and wings. The burger meat and buns were burnt and inedible. The strips were extremely tough and stale and the wings looked extremely inedible and undercooked.

Ordered curry’s for our break, delivered promptly, everyone enjoyed 🤗 will definitely be ordering again 👌 brilliant service and thank you for supporting us much appreciated 🙏💕💕💕

I'm a korma fan they cook it mild as stated and its yummy I'v had some terrible kormas from others the pilou rice is firm and not mushy.I am now a regular customer the 5 rating is well deserved

absolutely disgusting rude service ! food did not arrive and when I phoned to ask what was happening they said the driver had attempted delivery and we didn’t answer , which was not the case !!! and then said that it was just eats problem and not there problem because just eat do not pay them till after two weeks! absolute joke they were extremely rude and were refusing to deliver food and refusing to give a refund ! disgusting and will never use them again !

Easy to order and excellent taste and texture

The pizza was fantastic and tasty, ive had better chicken pakoras but thats just personal taste. Excellent service even after 1 in the morning.

Really tasty but when I ordered a Chicken Tikka Kebab & chips u would expect it to come in a pitta or Nann, but still very nice and good service

Use Ali Murad all the time and usually excellent, today the food was cold and stale as though it had been sat on the side for 30 mins before leaving to be delivered. Disappointing

Chicken korma pizza as per was fantastic. Tried the tikka starter this time and was very impressed

My order came well before the expected time. I really enjoyed my order of chicken tikka masala. It was the best out of all the ones I've tried from other takeaways in Dalton/Moldgreen. I can't praise Ali Murad enough for their super fast delivery service. Looking forward to next time already.

Bought a expensive king prawn Bhuna, tasteless sauce, ( yesterday's left overs whizzed up ) over cooked prawns bland and cold. The worst curry! I've ever had..was like a veggie soup with prawns uck !!!!!

Chips were undercooked and curry was bland as anything. First experience of just eat and what a disappointment it was. :( will not be ordering from here again!

After ordering one of my favourite foods tonight & taking it home to find out the onion baragie was eather over cooked or extra from another order.. it was over cooked normally there food is five star all the way so after been a regular customer for years ..I'm afraid the standard I have come accustomed to as fell well short of the standard of there service lessen learnt don't order late at night it's eather they couldn't be botherd to cook fresh or they were left overs from been còoked beafor hand not pleased has there food is excellent & uve had to resort to this sorry guys will be debating my custom from now on

Persuaded my husband to go here after friends told us it was lovely.Waited 20 mins over the estimated delivery time.Order was cold. Didn't have any salad with 3 starters , these were lamb chops onion bhaji and mushroom bhaji. 1 yogurt sauce pot. Had to warm food up . Wont be returning.

B+, poppadoms a tad soggy, mint sauce lacking, mango chutney and pakoras very good, garlic naan very good, gosht good but quality of chicken lacking. Overall decent effort

Food was mostly tasty but vindaloo was bland and very mild, no kick to it whatsoever. It was my son's first vindaloo as he wanted a challenge. We were both disappointed.

Missed a pizza off the order and the driver was no help. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!

Food was delivered 45 minutes early, with items missing...spoke with owner who apologised and agreed to re make it but would not be ready until 8pm and they would need to come collect the food already delivered.... food was then collected at 1930 but ‘fresh’ food not delivered until 2020.... with items still missing!! Absolutely appalled with the service and the fact that it was delivered twice without the order being complete!

I've had this meal on numerous occasions. (Boring I know). Tonight it tasted really different and not as nice. Perhaps they had a new chef.

the food was terrible I ordered two chicken tikka masalas. there was no spice to it very bland had better curry from a supermarket jar. also ordered a 1.5ltr bottle of pop to be fobbed off with 3 cans of pop.

This is our current favourite takeaway for Keema Madras, onion bhajis and samosa's. Delicious fresh naan bread and chapati cooked to order. We typically buy from here a couple of times a month. They do offer a delivery service but we collect our order.

I ordered a madras from Ali mural and I have never tasted something so bland the sauce was so watered down no flavour what’s so ever the chips where cold and hard what a waste of £11 wouldn’t recommend too anyone but each too there own..

This curry house has been consistent with quality and taste since it opened over twenty years ago. The place is always clean and the food is always fresh. The staff are very polite at all times. By far the best curry house in kirklees.

I picked my meal up, got home and realised something was missing. I phoned up, they apologised profusely and had it to me within 15 minutes. Lush food and fab service!

The food was ok but the mint sauce and mango chuckney was missing.

Ordered for 18:30, with a note for the biryani to be as mild as possible. Arrived at 17:40 so I called to ask why and get it picked up as the people who were eating weren't even here by then...The staff was then rude saying I was wrong but then saw his mistake...the delivery driver arrived again at 18:45 with the new meal missing the Pilau rice and was very curt when asking for the early delivery items with no apology from anyone.

Curry was clap cold naan bread felt like it had spent it's life in he fride Curry portion was pathetic. Was not what we ordered despite the man on the phone insisting he cooked it. Not the type to turn my nose up at food but I'd have had more fun wiping the 20 spent my backside. Only decent piont I can give is they offered to send some more food up and the man on the phone was patient enough to put up with my hanger.

Cold pakora in a paper bag. Nearly warm bhaji. Lamb curry sloppy and really sweet. Cold naan not foil wrapped just folded in a paper bag. Not good enough really. 2 weeks ago I had a kebab on pitta that was very good indeed. Maybe this was just a glitch but I will not be trying again.

Tikka Starter was just a smaller version of the very red Korai Murgh Chicken. Not my definition of a Chicken Tikka starter. Both dishes were dull. No salad which most places provide FoC. Chicken Jalfrezi was very good.

Food was luke warm when delivered... had to heat in microwave. Cartons dripping in oil. Rice was clumped together. Food was tasty but disappointed overall. Won't order from here again.

have ordered from here for a very long time. everyone knows Ali murad. they can be hit and miss. but their chicken tikka masalas are nice. a shame you don't get the salad and raita thrown in with the price.
