Ali Baba Hitchin - We Save You Save - Order From Website !!! in North Hertfordshire

We ordered two chicken shish but it was really poor and tasteless. The chicken was rubbery and tasted like it had been boiled while the pitta bread was soggy. Sorry but can’t recommend the chicken shish.

I order regularly. I am always being fussy, make amendments to an item I order I.e well done chicken, NO onions, extra sauce and each and every time I get exactly what I ask for. Delivery is always rather quick even on “busier” days, food is always hot, good quality and enough of. Most of the time I am sent free drinks when placing a big order. The delivery driver is always pleasant, friendly and happy. Will always be my number 1 kebab choice.

We were very happy with our order and the food was lovely and hot.

I ordered aa I do from anywhere else only this time the staff at the shop were the best customer service I have had anywhere then I was surprised as the delivery man was on point best delivery man that's been two my door I hope he is payed well next time he comes he will be getting a tip for his service ontop of that our family meal I was blown away every single meal was the best we have ever had every single item was better than any other takeaway best shop in stevenage facts

I asked for mixed Donna and received 2 pieces of lamb . Won’t buy again !

Thank you for delivering on this extremely cold night. it was late but I rather the driver is safe rather than putting himself at risk on icy roads. it's not a big issue for me it being 20 minutes late. the time is an estimate anyway. People wouldn't be happy if estimate in delivery wasn't given. things happen in life that can cause delays. I very much appreciate you have a delivery service to where I live. it is secluded village so without you guys I would have been very hungry. food was great.

Food was left at security door of flats, no one buzzed or called, food is freezing cold after being left outside for +10min, absolutely ridiculous paying £30 for this kind of service

I've been going to Ali Babas for about 15 years and it has remained my favourite kebab house in Hitchin. The only kebab I'll eat sober, used to be my last stop on the way home from the Ivory, now it's a great emergency call when we've realised we have no food in the house and it's taken all evening to settle our baby down to sleep. Oh how times have changed! Staff have always been friendly, great portion sizes, always happy for a chat when we pick up, delivery always on time and hot - they also sorted me out properly when I was pregnant and craving their green chilli's!

Ordered lamb sish kebab this time (sometimes we get the mixed or a burger) usually orders are good but last 3 times food has been stone cold. Hadn’t bothered saying anything before but 3 times is just not acceptable. Won’t be ordering again now.

Some kebabs shops don’t bother after a night out and just give you whatever but Ali baba always make sure the food is cooked perfectly no matter what time it is. food tastes just as good sober as well and I’d pick them over a lot of takeaways❤️

I think we got the wrong pizza as it tasted meaty and not tuna with no sweetcorn whatsoever. The chips were good and our little boy ate the sausage. The burger was strangely cold and weird and ended up in the bin though.

Why I received order late over 20 minutes and a half size? It has never happen before but this time its a first time. I always order this combination kebab and this time it is a half size!

Ordered a XL doner kebab with garlic sauce got a doner and chips? I also oredered a small doner kabab which came with pitta bread and more meat than my XL. Not happy

I’ve been coming here for years - the guys genuinely care about the quality of their food and the customer service is always 10/10, I’ve been given a free cheesecake in the shop while I wait, the delivery times are always good when I order and whatever I’ve ordered has always been delicious. our meal was left outside the back gate, was told the driver had knocked n called my phone- which was not true! if he had knocked he could of left our nearly £100 order on a container there! dinner was cold & there's been no effort to refund anything or an apology of any sorts! there was also no salad or sauce- both requested- with my kebab & the pizza & garlic bread were hard as had to be re-heated obviously! not happy!

The food was clearly good quality, but it was cold and they manage to miss the chips off my order!

The Chicken Shish kebabs from Ali Baba are the best I’ve ever had. And trust me, I’ve eaten a lot of kebabs in my (probably significantly reduced by dietary choices) lifetime. Can’t recommend highly enough. We were considering moving away from Hitchin this year, but I would miss these kebabs too much.
