On my way home from work I called in and had a mixed kebab XL £14 and I have to say what a delish meal

Absolutely shocking, waited over 2 hours, just eat said driver was stuck in traffic from Folkestone to Hythe!! Called restaurant and they said order was being prepared now. Cancelled the order due to staff who answered phone being incredibly rude. Will never use them again.

Great little place to visit, with tasty, fresh food. For some reason, my navigation took me to the wrong place, the owner on the phone guided me bakc to his shop. Service was great, food was really tasty, would definitely visit again.

Warning: this business will charge you more than the advertised price. I ordered a 'Burger Meal 3' advertised at £8.99. They tried to charge me £9.99. When I pointed out the error, they said they were still waiting for their menu screens to be updated. When I explained if you advertise a price, then that's what you sell it as to the customer, they got angry and claimed ignorance. Zero customer service, rude and hostile attitude when challenged on the advertised price they've given to customers, which they openly mock. These people are obviously running a failing business and trying to make money where they can. Avoid. At. All. Costs.

Order from here quite often. Food is always good, well seasoned with generous portions. Love the salad. Delivery is always prompt

Absolutely vial! The kebab has come in no box wrapped in tin could the salad is missing, there’s no pita bread there’s some sort of bread roll this is bye far the worse place Iv ever known! The kebaby is stuck to paper as they wrapped it in paper then tin could then 2 more sheep’s of paper so it’s sweating and mad the roll that was meant to be naan bread soggy Iv never known worse food! And when I called to complain I’m basically told you didn’t order salad because there no one there who can actually understand what I’m trying to tell them Infact I will be reporting them because this I wouldn’t even feed to a dog

Was in folkestone for the beach during the weekend. So went to this place and was impressed with quality of the food and the presentation and tidiness of the place,however the reason I have given 3 for service was the menu did not reflect the current price, which the staff did mention to us, when I suggested to them that they should throw out the old menu, they pretended no to hear me politely? we ordered quiet few items from the menu and I was shocked that we paid £10 for a doner wrap we didn't get any drinks with that also we decided to eat in,i thought they would have given us plates instead it was just the usual food containers.We had to lean over to the counter to get the food, they had enough staff to bring it into our table.i an not asking for amazing service but we had 5 children and 4 adults who ate, they could have made the effort to be a bit more active in the service but that doesn't mean they were rude.i think it's the way the business was run.The quality of the food was very good and fresh aswell as the salads. The restaurant was neat and tidy. My only word of caution for any visitors would be check the prices before ordering and maybe they will try a bit harder when it comes to service and pricing.

Dry kebab burnt pizza salad forgotten

A little bit overpriced but I can honestly say the portion sizes are worth the money

I’ve ordered food today at 2am, I do understand it’s quite late but if your are open people will order from you Friday night so I don’t understand why your drivers are so rude!! It was the first time I have ordered from you and definitely last time!! Food is lovely but the service you get from the drivers is horrible. Change your staff otherwise you will be loosing your customers. Your driver has refused to come to my flat so I had to go down to get my food but that’s fine. But then he was refusing to get out of his car to give me my food! When he gave me my food he said are you happy now?!? In a really rude way! When I’ve told him I will phone the shop he said he doesn’t care! What a horrible person. Never again!!!

Ate in chicken shish kebab. Meat well grilled, salads and sauerkraut good quality. Salad dressing maybe some balsamico thing. What was the best part of this meal was the salsa type chili sauce on the meat. Hot and delicious. It was cold and not cozy to eat in, you eat from a styrofoam box with wooden fork and get only one piece of (delicious) bread. Real plates, some couscous, rice or fries on the side and this would be 6/5.

Ordered through just eat. Kebab came was awful dry shrivelled up meat was like it had been sat in the warmer for hours. Gave a bad review on just eat. Got a text that night at 23.50 saying sorry please order again and we'll send you your order free. Rang the next week to a rude man on the phone saying I'll get boss to ring you... never heard a thing... won't bother again. Bad service, awful food

Had to rectify a Just Eat review as you can’t change them. Ordered quite late at 12:45am, said it was due to be delivered at 2am. Marked as delivered but hadn’t received it until 30mins later. Food was good though.

Delivered the wrong food. Ate the side and found a hair in it. Just seen their promo video on Facebook as an obvious algorithm and the guy had flithy fingernails. Had no interest in giving me a refund. I should have seen the reviews before ordering

Ordered a delivery this evening as have heard good things and it did not disappoint. The food was full flavour and the delivery driver; Rachel who also took my call was polite and quick in delivery it to us. 10/10, will definitely be coming back

I had a kebab from here on Sunday evening and have been suffering from a nasty case of food poisoning since then so god knows what’s going on behind that counter. They have got rid of all their menus and have no prices on display so I guess just make it up when you pay - nearly £50 for 4 kebabs seems extremely steep for Folkestone! They also would only accept cash. Won’t be returning anytime soon!

Ordered at 10 expected to come at 10:35, came at 11:10. I called up the staff, very very rude and inattentive. Food was very cold and bad. Would not recommend.

Ordered beef german donner got a lamb one but not after getting a call asking for an extra 3 pound delivery will not be ordering again.

Order here a couple times on uber eats, already paying 3 pounds for delivery but then they call saying they don't deliver or we have to pay more delivery. Man on the phone was rude saying it take him an hour do drive 5 miles. Careful of them trying to scam you for extra delivery

Confused how the 14" buy one get one free pizza deal cost £18.99, yet a single 14" pizza costs around £11.00..... Unless I have a fundamental misunderstanding of English, that's not buy one get one free.

Ordered but they added all the things to the salad I didn’t ask for. Main issue though is the fish tank in the shop - it’s so disturbing to see big fish swimming in black water that clearly cannot breathe properly - I can’t go in there anymore because seeing the state the fish are in is so awful - if having the fish is part of your whole places look look after them it’s just cruel at this point! They have been like that for ages

Ordered off Uber eats to then get a call from the restaurant saying they do not deliver to here even though we have had it here before when I questioned how comes it was on Uber eats for this area got told “I’m not driving an hour for your order” however it’s 10 minutes on the motorway and even the back way would never take an hour. I was only bringing this to their attention as there must be more people who have had the same situation. The man was rude told me my order is not important as he already has £150 worth of orders and is not going to bother with mine. A simple sorry would have been ok. for this we will not be eating from here ever. The food was nice last time but I won’t be travelling after that rude encounter all I was doing was asking a question.

There are may be many turkish takeaways but no doubt ALI BABA GRILL is one the best i have tried so far in folkestone. Very friendly and welcoming environment, best food with best taste and customer service makes it more delicious and amazing. They have nice seating inside where you can enjoy your food. First time customer. Came in to the shop. Ali let me try a bit of the beef and turkey kebab. Was full of flavour. Opted for the turkey. The size is brilliant. The bread is lovely and sweet. The only downside is that when got home some of the meat was on the dry side as was been kept warm in the dish. Will not let this put me off will definitely use again. Hate to say it, ordered tonight 14/08/22. Rung and asked for a large chicken kebab and small chips. Order arrived with a mixed kebab and cold chips. Rang to complain and was told that's what you ordered a large mixed kebab. The staff member was rude and not very helpfull. Sorry Ali for the bab review

Fake menu prices which Causes conflict which they seem to enjoy. Small portions, grumpy staff, soggy salad, a bad experience. Folkestone kebab house is much nicer, the sauces are amazing, the staff pleasant, the portions make sense, the police even eat there its so nice. it's owners also run the Belmont.

Although there was a menu the owners were making up higher prices on the spot as they pleased. The pizza we ordered came with bbq base when we didn't ask and mushrooms when we specifically asked them not to. Rude staff.

We ordered on Just Eat and paid a delivery charge. Then Ali Baba Grill telephoned us 20 minutes before delivery time and advised us we needed to pay an extra £2 delivery charge before we would receive our order due to the cost of petrol. Ali Baba Grill need to remove themselves from this app if they are unable to fulfill the service offered !

Googled Halal Takeaway when we were on holiday. Ali Baba Grill showed up. We were not disappointed food was Very Nice and Good Portion Sizes and reasonable prices. Would Highly Recommend. The Beef Doner wrap was very nice.

Great food is great but the service is not so the delivery service is bad on 2 separate occasions they have forgot part of the order and had to call up and get it sent out which means people can’t eat together

Truly the BEST kebabs around. Really love the beef donner and chicken shish. The bread is delicious and the salad is fresh. One small grumble... large chips was half a box of chips and disappointed with size. Otherwise, you won't regret this place. The family love it.

No menus or prices on display. Staff explained (in broken English) it's because they have increased all prices, and kind of shouted at me if I had noticed all the price increases out there. Yeah well I did, duh. Staff seemed unhappy that I questioned this until I was given an old menu, and verbally told about the new price. Upon paying, staff took money with a feeble thanks then performed fast 180 degree turn and went away. Rude, and illegal. FYI: Product labelling, the law: ''If you're a retailer, you must display: the price of products - this must be in sterling (pounds and pence) and include VAT where applicable. the price of a single item (the 'unit price') for products that you sell loose.'' As per reading the other reviews I see replies to customers below, never, ever, ever reply to a customer saying ''you have mental issues''. That only serves to confirm my impression of rudeness. And then later that evening, I got sick like a dog, so that's how my stomach is reviewing it.

Waited 2 hours for food to arrive tonight before receiving a phone call about a load of rubbish saying deliveroo had cancelled the order and a ridiculous story blaming deliveroo for all the problems. The man on the phone was very hostile and rude, didn't help the situation. Eventually received the food cold after 2.5hrs and was forced to pay cash as they couldn't figure out how to work taking card payment over the phone. Ruined the family gathering we were at. Would not recommend to anyone, despicable business practice, no wonder they don't have a trip advisor!

Waiting almost two hours now for my full order to arrive. Absolutly shocking. AVOID. Had a full blown argument with the driver down the phone so he obviously drank my drink the thief!!!!! DO NOT EAT HERE! Get them closed down!!!
