Gluten free meal was not gluten free. Wouldn't trust it here again, made me very ill.

We've been here many times and have never been disappointed. It's our favourite spot with our young daughter as there is loads of space for prams etc, and good lunch options for them. Very tasty food and the staff are always friendly.

A nicely themed venue with pleasant enough staff. I ordered tea and toast, the tea came out within 5 minutes and was great. Got nearly 3 of the mugs from one pot. Unfortunately waited 40 minutes for the toast which came out as 2 slices of bread. It seems dramatic but when I said sorry this is still bread (soft to the touch folds without making crumbs) oh okay sorry was the answer. Unless you have plenty of time for your order and get something that needs to be cooked.

Probably best brunch spot in fleet. Good food and friendly staff, nice atmosphere and plenty of space between tables. Cocktails are good too! colouring for kids and dog friendly (I don't even have a dog 😆) Update Jan 2025. Still just as good! white choc cheesecake was lovely but sticky toffee pudding not the best I've had - bit too date-ish and not toffee enough despite the sauce. Big lounge breakfast is very big!

Had breakfast today for our son's birthday and it was absolutely perfect! Zu and her team looked after us splendidly, and the food was excellent and very reasonably priced too. We shall definitely cone again! Grazie Zu x

We were introduced to this restaurant by some friends and were so impressed that we have been back several times. All the staff are so friendly and helpful. In particular Jamie was delightful on our last visit. The food was beautifully cooked and presented as well.

Imagine you come for the breakfast with your wife. After you leave you both feel sick. She is ending up at A&E due to extreme high fever, vomiting morning mushrooms from above breakfast. I will never come back there in my life.

All three of us had overcooked food Even when I had to ask for extra sharp knife to cut my flatbread as it was tough their no surprise . My husbands buttered chicken was burnt in places our sons burger was tough . We were offered a drink . Already had drunk our drinks so did not want another one Very disappointed .

Ordered the food on my phone. Drinks came quickly but a long wait for the food and the chips should have been warmer but the burger was hot. It's very noisy but a nice atmosphere. Music too loud, I thought.

Just wanted to say what a lovely surprise meal we had here with family and friends. The manager went above and beyond to help and the food and atmosphere was lovely.

We were unsure on where to take our group of 6 children for a special birthday meal/party and I'm pleased we booked Alento Lounge. The staff were amazing, so thoughtful and made a fuss of the birthday girl. When the team started singing happy birthday, it felt like the whole restaurant joined in, it was a special moment. The food was perfect for the kids (aged 8), plenty of different options, and I felt confident the team had our dietary requirements understood and taken care of. Thank you so much for a lovely relaxing end to a busy birthday weekend!

I’ve been for lunch & dinner friends, our family of 8, and also as a couple and it’s always been lovely. We love the tapas. ❤️ I also love that they do so much with the local community, local creatives, artists, local musicians, activities etc as many local venues seem to book from outside the area, which is great for variety, but it’s often overlooked how local musicians can draw a local crowd in on a regular basis. The activities held at Alento are great. The staff are really lovely, when we were there in August, they were brilliant!

Listen - everyone (even vegetarians) needs to eat the pulled beef croquettes before they die.

Love going to Alento Lounge in Fleet, meeting with local friends. Food always good and great value. Enjoyed the ”Cheeky Monday” Deal! Always relaxed atmosphere, plenty of room. Staff always friendly and helpful. Have been several times now and look forward to going back again.

I’ve been here many times with my friends, they always love the atmosphere. The food is always quick and tasty. We’ve come different times of the week and they always alternative events which is exactly what fleet needs !

Service is always good and tables are spacious. The tapas are always delicious and never had a bad meal whether this be breakfast or dinner here. They also have board games available which is a good extra touch. Highly recommend.

Second try, same as first with a disappointing meal. The menu is trying to be a fusion but the flavors and textures together were seriously disappointing. Facilities require a steep staircase, plan accordingly!

I was a bit disappointed because I've been to one of their other chain outlets in Frome and it was brilliant there. Opted for the 3 tapas plus a wine. The server was pleasant and polite but not knowledgeable. Most of the tapas arrived a bit cold so either the plating or the service was inefficient. The Korean chicken wings were a bit hard. The sweet corn frittas were ok. So too the squid. I wouldn't rush back.

This was my first time trying the Alento Lounge and I found it a fairly average experience. There is the usual range of food available (burgers, sandwiches, salds, tapas and some other mains). You can either order at the bar or via and app. I ordered at the bar and had to wait around five minutes for my drink to arrive. My burger and chops arrived promptly and whilst I enjoyed the burger, the chips were lukewarm and nothing special. By the time I was part way through my main I could hear the staff informing anyone coming in that it was an approximate 45 minute wait for food (which I found odd given it wasn't full and not every table was eating food) and as a result I decided not to bother with a pudding.

Has become a “go to” place for reasonably priced meals out in Fleet. Good food, nice staff and quirky decor.

I have been here several times and always very pleased with the food and drinks! Very modern, love that they do table service. The price is very reasonable, and the staff are very lovely friendly and attentive. The cocktails are 2 for 1 which is always a nice touch!

We ordered tapas, half the menu wasn’t available which the girl behind the bar was very apologetic and lovely but what did come stone cold, and then asked them to re heat and less than half the food came back, in which we got a refund and we left, would not recommend!

Second visit to have an English breakfast and just as good as the first. Special thanks to our waitor Dan who looked after our table throughout. Will definitely return. Updated - now a quiz night on Tuesdays!

Lovely lunch with youngest son (he paid) and his charming girls. Very good food and friendly staff. He struggled a bit with the on line ordering (see photo) so had to help him but apart from that had a great time. I popped in to have a very quick supper after a long, difficult day. The atmosphere was relaxed, warm and welcoming and I ordered the smashed avocado with poached egg, which was delicious! Thank you, particularly Christy, who not only provided amazing service but also a big hug! Your kindness was much appreciated!

We ate here on both Saturday evening and for brunch on Sunday. On both occasions we were very impressed with the service and food. The decor is inviting and interesting, toilets were clean and well stocked. The menu has something for everyone, all in a party of 7, we all enjoyed our food. It was hot tasty and brought to us quickly but not too quickly which personally I prefer a but of a wait to chat. I would prefer to order at the table but understand that different places have different ways of doing things. All staff were friendly and attentive, noticing that we had returned from the night before. Child friendly and dog friendly, it was thouroughly enjoyable. I actually didn't want to leave at all on Sunday and considered sending a courier to fetch my slippers. Bravo! We shall return!!

I accompanied my special needs son and his girlfriend on their date on Wed 11 October for lunch in Fleet. Ive spent many years testing food in restaurants. I ordered a fish finger sandwich on white bread. My son had a lounge burger with cheese and bacon and his girlfriend a plain burger. My fish finger sandwich smelt of fish , two slices of bread with wet lettuce and burnt discusting fish fingers and awful tartare sauce . The bacon on the burgers was sinewee and undercooked. 2 cokes and a water was 45 quid. I felt sick . Do not order. Fish finger sandwich from Fleet. Awful food

Food was tasty and the atmosphere was nice. We went on a Monday night and there were only 3-4 tables eating so quite. We went for the “Cheeky Monday” deal- a meal and free glass of house wine. Staff were unsure which drinks were in the deal so manager was called over to assist. We were told all the soft drinks were in the offer and when my drink was scanned the bar staff confirmed it had gone through with the deal. However later I realised I had been over charged. When I questioned this I was told there was only a discount on the soft drink and still a cost. The member of staff said she didn’t usually work Mondays and didn’t know much about the offer. When I pushed further expecting a refund she said all she could do was call her manager. Deals need to be more transparent and staff need to be better trained on the menu. Really dampened our experience as I was hoping to come back to the Baby group with friends but now we won’t be returning. Staff were unhelpful and didn’t seem bothered about the issue.

Place was quiet, placed my order via Web. 10 mins for one beer to arrive and 25 mins for a hard burger. No staff there but that's the norm nowadays ! Just one person..by the way. Spoons is better. Cost of Brewdog in here £6, spoons..£3.50...

This is not haute cuisine. But it's served quickly, was hot, and tasty. Just what we were after on this occasion. With Hazy Jane and Punk IPA on tap, what's not to like.

First time visit to this venue, admittedly it was early lunch time, service was great the food we had was superb. Highly recommend the Nasi Goreng, had similar at Wagamama in my opinion this was better.

Updated review: previously rated 4 stars, although good experience generally, I had marked down due to slow service. However, I visited again recently on a busy evening. Service was quick (both at bar and when ordering via app). Food, selection of drinks and atmosphere all good.

The food was amazing and most of the staff were lovely and helpful, however we found the manager behind the bar to be quite rude and abrupt, his only concern was to socialize with staff.

Why do the staff feel the need to clear the table while some are still eating !!!! It’s rude and disrespectful one of the table was still eating, staff came and took away plates from others who had finished We then had to ask for napkin as that was taken of the person still eating Food was good but this was forgotten due to the staff member, last person eating felt rushed The place wasn’t busy. I have visited many lounges but never had this happen before.

This restaurant was recommended to us by a friend - and what a great find! We came here as a group and everyone in the party commented on how good the food was. There really was something for everyone here - Tapas, Indian, burgers, salads and lots of vegetarian choices. We loved the choice of alcohol-free cocktails and fresh lemonade. Service was excellent with food and drinks served promptly and staff very accommodating with various requests when it came to serving late-comers and dealing with dividing the bill at the end. Would definitely come back again.

A year ago or so after my last visit, I thought I’ll never return again. I didn’t like food last year at all, it was below standard. I did return and what a transformation, food great, staff-exceptional customer service, amazing turnaround of the place, loved it. I’ll be back soon, I’m your raving fan!

Went for dinner which turned out to be an awful experience for me at the end of the night. Unfortunately I have suffered from really bad food poisoning from the tapas selection (food poisoning called Campylobacter) And having read other reviews, turns out I’m not the only one to have gotten food poisoning from Alento Lounge. Such a shame as the place did really show potential, but sadly I will not be going back again…
