There are many reasons to visit the Aldringham Tea Rooms. Including – excellent coffee, lovely cakes (the date and apple for example), and a warm personal welcome. The Tea Room treasures its location in Aldringham too. And a very welcome feature is that it is open well past the time that most others have closed. Plus, something I’ve not seen in a tea room before - the reading matter includes The Week and Private Eye! Wonderful!!. Excellent.

Great choice of tea, home made cakes and a very friendly staff. It’s between Thorpeness and Aldeburgh and a real find, it’s worth a visit

Old fashioned tearoom with loads of lovely homemade food, a great selection of loose leaf teas and decent coffee. We were made to feel very welcome and comfortable. Choice of homemade soups excellent served with homemade bread. Biscotti served with tea and coffee lovely. Cakes sounded excellent but no room. Prices value for money and a lot more reasonable than what we've seen in Southwold, Aldeburgh, Norfolk north coast. Will go again, possibly to try a proper afternoon tea (book for that just in case)

Have often driven past without stopping - so glad we did stop. Lovely old fashioned tea room with friendly staff and a good range on the menu. The cappuccino was great and a lovely pot of tea which they offered to top up as well. The Victoria sponge was lovely and the coffee and walnut cake was one of the best I have ever eaten. Won't always drive past now as will definitely return

Found this last last year & wrote a reivew but somehow it not showing- Tucked away tearoom off the road to thorpeness from the x rds Thorpeness, Leiston, Aldringham/Aldreburgh, Knodishall. Parking is very limited so better for walkers or cyclists. Dogs welcome. Very open plan so if chiledren & they noisey you can;t hear yourself. Lovley bi-fold doors that let the light & any cool breeze in. Staff are friendly, food is home made, gluten free, vegan etc speciality teas & fresh coffee served. Little expensive for what on offer & portion wiae.

This is the 3rd time I have visited here with my elderly mother and we love it. We had a jacket potato and a panini and a couple of drinks, all for £15. The service is good and the staff are very helpful and friendly. Dogs welcome and they get a treat too. Will definitely be back. Thank you

My friend and I have visited several times and each time the staff have been wonderful. They are always attentive and supply a cushion for my friend! Their hot chocolate, with Irish cream syrup is delicious. Well everything we have sampled is great. If you are looking for someone with friendly staff and great atmosphere and food, it's the place for you!

We booked afternoon tea at the tearooms to celebrate my husband’s aunt’s 93rd birthday. And everything was perfect, from the warm greeting to the special attention to a suitable chair for her to the delicious food to the ‘doggy bag’ that means she will have a cake tomorrow on her actual birthday. It was all lovely. And so nice to be able to choose your own sandwich filling rather than having a selection which often includes something you don’t like so much. We already frequent the tearooms for coffee and cake on a regular basis but I don’t think this will be our last afternoon tea. Perfect!

Absolutely wonderful. Well-priced, unpretentious, tasty food, just what you want after a walk (and there are some excellent walks in the vicinity): sandwiches, soup, baked potatoes, toasties, cake, cold drinks, that kind of thing. Good selection of teas, plus 'budget day' teabag tea for a...
