Alcotraz Brighton: Cell Block One-Three in Brighton and Hove

Would highly recommend. Its pricey but worth it for a first time experience. I wouldn't keep returning unless the script changes, the time went super quick and the staff did their best to interact as much as possible during that time. However more time is needed to get every cell block involved. Cocktails were amazing but again I didn't even finish one by the time the next one was handed over. Overall it was a great experience.

Did not eat there so cannot rate the food but not doubt would have given it 5 stars. If there were 6 stars I would have rated it a six! My colleague and I booked this as our work's Christmas do and it was an instant hit! From the minute we arrived to the minute we left we were thoroughly entertained. We were extremely well looked after, the cocktails were delicious. Cannot recommend it highly enough and cannot wait to return!

Can't rate food because it's not part of it. Had a great night at the one in Brighton - everybody did a fab job entertaining us, and trying to rein in a rowdy bunch in the cell next to us. Would definitely book again.

The best night. Got upgraded as there was space. Right amount of people. Delicious drinks and the interactions were great fun! Definitely want to go back and recommend it to anyone considering. First time going out drinking and I have absolutely no regrets! Also customises drinks to what works best for you, have me singles instead of doubles. Also gave me a cocktail when requested one instead of alcohol. Asked for drinks preferences whether it is sweet, fruity, etc. Thank you for such a good night!! Will definitely be revisiting 🙂

Alcotraz was the perfect choice to kickstart a girly catch up. The staff was brilliant: entertaining, funny and not stepping out if character once, while simultaneously keeping everyone safe and happy. The “kitchen staff” prepared some amazing cocktails disguised as soup. Be warned, they do not skimp on the alcohol!

Absolutely brilliant time most definitely will be back a must if you all looking for fun whilst in Brighton

Our 7 'Queens' attended Alcotraz Brighton on Saturday 30th November. We had an absolutely amazing time. The soup was delicious and the staff were 10/10. OH MY GOD this place is great. My sister and I took a girls trip to Birghton this weekend and we booked this experience. It was hands down one of the best things we have done together, we absolutely loved it, super entertaining and so much fun. The actors were brilliant, had everyone engaged and laughing. You take your own alcohol and they make you all different cocktails, and keep them flowing. My sister suffers with acid reflux, so has to avoid citrous drinks, they catered to her and even came over to check that it was ok for her, explaining everyone is different. Couldn't recommend this enough.

Food rating 5 star as in chicken soup. Was awesome experience, very funny and interactive.second time we’ve been and still very enjoyable. Was great acting and very funny experience. Drinks were awesome and brought in regularly and plentiful. Nice blended cocktails, all different tastes. Would recommend to anyone wanting a group experience, couples and you get interactive with other groups. For a special occasion or team night out would be great.

Bought as a gift for our son and daughter in law who had an absolute blast here on Saturday. They came back full of tales and said the whole interactive experience was done so well. They could join in as much as they wanted, no pressure if they didn't and generally a really great and really different few hours. Think we will try it ourselves!

Alcotraz is an incredibly realistic and unique experience! When there was a small miscommunication, it was resolved quickly and in a very friendly manner. The actors brought prison life to life, and the atmosphere felt completely authentic. Even though we didn’t speak the language, the staff was very patient and helpful. It was fantastic how they created a different cocktail each time with the liquor you smuggled in, along with a matching mocktail (for those who had to drive 😉). Every drink was a delicious surprise! Highly recommended for anyone looking for a unique and immersive experience!

I had amazing experience at Alcatraz based in Brighton. I highly recommend bringing tequila and Cointreau, Ziggy our spectacular mixologist made the most beautiful tequila based cocktails I have ever had!!! Ziggy even made a point of coming to check with us how exactly we preferred our cocktails, I appreciate this level of customer care so much :) I told her to have creative freedom and it paid off they were delicious. The 4 cocktails each worked out cheaper than drinking out elsewhere for cocktails making it a massive bonus. The prison experience within itself was hilarious, I would like to make a special thanks to al of the actors who made the night such a special experience. Would recommend to anyone whether it’s a couple, friend or larger group- you will all enjoy it !

We didn’t know what to expect but it was a great evening. The prison warden and his staff stayed in character throughout the night and were very funny (even when they were being serious). The bar team made delicious chicken soup! The storyline was cleverly adapted to be inclusive of those taking part, so no one was left out. Overall, great fun.

10/10 experience! All the staff were brilliant, the servers were lovely and the actors made the whole experience so fun. We had the best time and the cocktails were so delicious (and very strong) bonus is you get the bottles returned to you at the end if you don’t finish it which we didn’t expect. I would 100% go again and can’t fault it, it is definitely highly immersive!

I recently visited Alcotraz Immersive Prison in Brighton for the first time, and what an unforgettable experience it was! From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was buzzing with excitement and fun. The cocktails were absolutely delicious, expertly crafted, and truly one-of-a-kind. The staff were incredibly friendly and added to the immersive experience with their engaging personalities. My friend and I shared loads of laughter and created wonderful memories that we'll cherish. If you’re looking for a unique and enjoyable night out, Alcotraz is a must-visit! Highly recommend it!

Booked cell seating for me and my boyfriend. We LOVED the immersive theater experience. The actors were lovely and the mixologist was extremely talented. We loved every second of it.

We celebrated a friend's hen-do and surprised her with this experience. As a group, we had a lot of fun, definitely worth it! We had 4 'chicken soups' ;) served for each person, they also do 'veggie soup' for those who don't drink!

Festive concept bar, where you become part of a "play". "Smuggles" in booze so you can sit in the prison cell and enjoy yourself. The drinks are very good and the actors show passion and good effort. Here it is most fun if you are a group. It is relatively expensive, but has been a visit during my lifetime.

This was brilliant - highly recommend!! It was such a fun and unique experience. They tailor your drinks to what you bring (BYOB in an unopened bottle) and your flavour preferences. Our cocktails were incredible - the experience is worth it just for the mixology alone! We weren’t sure what to expect from the immersive theatre, but it was great, the actors were witty, improvised and didn’t break character! Great team-building, party or date idea. We went for a hen party, and they really made it special!

Amazing experience! Cassidy, the guards and the warden were all amazing and seem like they enjoy what they do! The story line was great, the cast were funny, a great couple of hours of entertainment. Cocktails were all on point as well, they check if you have a preference of flavours but we opted for a mix and all 4 were different but delicious. Would 100% recommend this if you are looking for something to do in the area!

Took our sister's hendo group here. Overall great experience and something you don't expect. The actors got into their roles really well. wearing the jumpsuits and the environment was a fun change to be immersive. The drinks were yummy and they give you back what you don't drink at the end. Overall a great experience early evening that set our group up for the night BUT even as a smaller thing this would be a great unique date night.
