Albion Street Chippy in Pendle

Sadly this chippy has changed hands and isn’t anywhere near as good as it was. It’s a shame as the guy there seems really keen and very welcoming No longer offering haddock having swapped to cod and using different fat, the fish batter and chips have left a very soapy taste in my mouth. Chips undercooked too so they needed extra cooking to crisp up. Fish itself was okay inside the batter. I won’t be going back in a hurry.

Always very good, fish are perfect every time, very clean would be happy to recommend to anyone staff are very friendly.

I always go back for a fish Butty, have to say one of the best around the area. Service is always good. I have tried the fish chips and gravy that was really good too, reliable and consistancy is defo the key here, you can go one week and a week later and expect them to be consistant.

No doubt about it, this is the best Chip shop in the whole area. They're well priced as well as generous on the potions. The fish is always battered freshly. They really do outperform other so called Fish and chip shops. Consistently the best!!

Gran servicio, gran degustación de comida muy fresca, ¿qué más puedes pedir de un chips local? El pescado es frito a la orden, así que siempre hay justo fuera de la freidora y las patatas fritas son perfectas. El precio ha estado el mismo durante años. Excelente relación calidad-precio.

This chippy is pretty good. I bought fish and chips with peas. Nicely prepared. Tasyed good too. Chips were not too greasy and im as fussy as they come. Within a 1 mile radius this is undoubtedly the best chippy around. Try it once and you will probably end up back for another portion of whatever it is you like. Good value for money.

I call every week for my fix of best fish and chips in the area. Recommended to family. Reasonable parking. Service excellent.

Called on the off-chance as I wasn't sure if it was still a chippy, it was an excellent chippy in the 80's/90's. Nice modern and clean decor, fish cooked freshly to order, will call again soon.

This is probably one of the best fish and chip shops in the area. Certainly worthy of recognition when it comes to awards. The owners are friendly and welcoming and the one thing I do like about it is the freshness of the food. The fish are cooked to order when entering and it's lovely not to have dry hot fish straight from the warmer
